Very delicious Indian food, highly recommended! What stands out is the option to choose between three spice levels. "Classic Indian" was the hottest, which was a challenge even for a seasoned spice lover like me.

We were at the new Hari's today, July 5th – and what can I say? It's turned out really nice! The decor is modern, yet still incredibly cozy. You immediately feel at home, almost like you're at a friend's house – only with better food 😉 And the food was truly top-notch! From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, everything was delicious. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love – each course was a little highlight. I would especially like to highlight the fantastic service. The three young ladies who served us were incredibly friendly and attentive. We were particularly impressed by the young woman, who appears to be the boss's daughter. She seems totally confident, always friendly, and has a really great way of interacting with both the guests and the team – it's simply fun to watch and feels very welcoming. If there's anything I could comment on, it's perhaps that the tables could be a little bit larger – with so many delicacies, it quickly gets a bit cramped. But that's complaining at a high level. All in all, a great evening – we will definitely be back!

Clean, tasty and friendly in a beautiful and modern Indian interior. Wide choice of North and South Indian dishes and I even saw some dishes from Sri Lanka. Recommended and good 'value for money'.

Authentic Indian food with great service! The dishes were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the butter chicken and the freshly baked naan – simply delicious! The service was attentive, friendly, and quick. The staff went out of their way to answer questions and offer recommendations. The atmosphere was also very pleasant – cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine or simply wants to try something new. I will definitely be back!

The Chicken Tikka Masala tasted quite good. Unfortunately, the value for money wasn't up to par. Especially not for pickup.

The food was delicious, and they also offer a few vegan dishes, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed, which was a minor drawback for us. We only ordered the food and didn't eat there, so we can't comment on the ambiance – but everything tasted good! Nothing extraordinary, but perfectly adequate.

If you like Indian food, you'll find a good selection here, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. It was delicious 😋 you could choose the spiciness of the dish beforehand. We'll be back.

Das Essen war hervorragend, sehr frisch und geschmacklich wunderbar. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladen, clean, modern und gleichzeitig mit unverwechselbaren traditionellen indischen Komponenten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, wir haben sehr spontan an einem Samstag Abend noch Plätze reservieren können, herzlichen Dank!

Sensational food! Anyone who likes Indian food is in good hands here and has clearly benefited from the move, any time again

We went there for dinner for the first time. And I have to say it's not really my taste. It was very curry heavy. I chose the spiciness for beginners and it was so hot that I didn't really taste anything else. But everyone sees it differently, some more, others less. We had a starter plate with a garlic sauce that was very tasty. The service was very nice and accommodating and explained everything. It's a good thing that tastes differ - all the tables were full. That's why the 4 stars for the food.

Ambiance very cozy. Service very friendly and attentive. The food tastes good, BUT the price/performance is really bad. Way too tiny portions. For me, butter chicken consisted of 5 small pieces of meat in about 200 ml of sauce and a bowl of rice. I find it very bold to charge €18.90 for it. That is disproportionate. And unfortunately there are no dishes for children.

Delicious food and nice advice and service

Yesterday we went to Hari's again with friends. While it used to be delicious and Indian in taste, I was VERY disappointed. Ambience modern and friendly, but by no means Indian. No welcome by aromas of Indian cuisine. The food was well Germanized. And little too. Without the starter plate for €30 (with a small bowl of meaningless yogurt dip) we wouldn't have been full. I'm happy to pay a little more, especially since everything has become more expensive for restaurant operators. But I have rarely experienced such a bad price-performance ratio. No, there has to be more, dear Hari's team. More Indian and a little more on the plate. Too bad. You probably have to drive further for delicious Indian food. Or - like me - cook yourself. Plus point in the new space: Large parking lot and a little more space in the restaurant. And of course the hard-working and nice employees

Very attentive service, with a charming, charismatic boss and great service staff - the new starter platter, a "must" - the main course with different degrees of spiciness, super well thought out! Gladly again! Thank you for the warmth!

The ambience is nice, but soundproofing should be considered - it is very loud. The request to change tables was not fulfilled due to alleged capacity, but guests arriving immediately afterwards were able to choose between 2 tables without a reservation!!! There were no table decorations, no candles, no flowers, nothing... Also no plate set... Naked plates! Anyone who eats with the eye, who is looking for attentive service and a cozy, quiet atmosphere, is not in good hands there and will be disappointed.

I am always amazed! The food is excellent, the service and friendliness are particularly noteworthy. I'm looking forward to the next culinary trip to India.

The new Hari's returent is a good one in Lingen. I tried the roti, butter chicken, and panner butter masala, and it was good.

We passed here by chance. Despite a full reservation, we still got a table. The service was very nice. The restaurant was nicely furnished and decorated. We all ate vegetarian food. It was very tasty.

Brown rice with saffron and butter didn't really appeal to me. But saffron is also very expensive, so only a few grains of rice were a little reddish. I couldn't tell from the taste that it was saffron. Starter was garlic bread. You were asked if you wanted three sauces as a dip. Cleverly done, because it wasn't mentioned in terms of price that these 3 small mini sauces cost €3 extra. It was suggested that you could test everything in this way. If you’re clever, you can’t directly imply “cheering on”. I didn't like that. The main course was lamb, but I had to look for lamb. Thick sauce where the mini pieces of lamb were in it, but you had to look for them. Bottle of Gerolsteiner, like almost everywhere these days, is also too expensive. Dessert was then saved, it was a lot in terms of price and all the things mentioned didn't raise the Indian food to first place. It was OK, but according to my taste there is still a lot of room for improvement or Indian food is not my thing.

It's a shame that I didn't discover this pearl of culinary art sooner. As soon as you enter you are taken into a paradise of “feel good”. Caused by the harmonious ambience in combination with a touch of incense and the extremely charming, reserved but very attentive staff who are happy to answer any questions. It was also necessary for me because it was my first visit to an Indian restaurant. The lovely lady explained everything important to me and also recommended really tasty dishes. She also pointed out the variations in the level of spiciness and the combination of vegetarian and animal (e.g. in dishes on a plate). That was great. The quality, taste and presentation of the food was just as great. The size of the portion was also absolutely sufficient for me as a heavy eater. Can't understand other reviews here or it was changed by October 27th, 2024. An absolute culinary experience. I had the bread with garlic, the three sauces, then butter chicken curry with saffron rice in beginner's heat, and then the pistachio ice cream. A dream. And the price for everything was too cheap rather than too expensive. I'll definitely go back. But ... which is absolutely understandable given the performance on offer: ABSOLUTELY PRE-ORDER!!!

Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen und sehr gute Auswahl. Und die Portionen sind sehe gut und ausreichend. Das ist Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Und die Beratung zur Auswahl der Speisen war sehr professionell. Das Ambiente ist hell und freundlich. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

After our 3rd visit, here is my unreserved recommendation. A well-rounded and very successful evening with reserved, professional, attentive service and great cuisine. The ability to combine the starters with the extremely successful chutneys works fantastically and the main courses really fit together very well. And the two homemade ice cream desserts (we had the mango-based version and the pistachio version) at the end were also a real dream. 5 stars for all courses! Here people with knowledge, experience, creativity and love for good food have really thought about it and the kitchen "closes the bag" and knows how to implement it impressively well. Thanks!

And as you can imagine, we tasted one or two Indian meals… The ambience of the house is very pleasant. it is not overloaded with Indian ambience. But has a touch of modernity. The owner is a very, very nice person. With whom you can also enjoy a chat after eating Price performance is ok. I paid about the same at my hotel yesterday… But it was worth every cent. A little note. Which didn't bother me much after I was with you for the first time. Are the Italy pictures. This sometimes gives the impression that it is an Italian restaurant. After numerous recommendations, we decided to pay a visit to "Hari's Indian Restaurant". The long journey to Lingen undoubtedly paid off: Not only is the staff very courteous and helpful, the food and ambience were also surprisingly good. Hari's Indian Restaurant is probably one of the best Indian restaurants in Germany: If you want traditional Indian food, this is the right place for you. Compared to the quality and size of the portions, the price is almost free: such an inexpensive selection of Indian food is still a rarity in Germany. It is recommended to visit the restaurant in larger groups and then share the food together so that the variety of the restaurant can be fully exploited. A highlight was the homemade kulfi with pistachios: I last ate something authentic like this in Chennai, pure nostalgia! We are already looking forward to coming back soon!

I am extremely disappointed. We once had some kind of chicken and fish curry. For the price, the portions are very small and the meat and fish are also overcooked and far too dry. The best thing was the rice, although a different type of rice with the dish instead of the one shown is very steep with an additional charge of €3 to €6. Too bad.

Also das war echt Seher gute Bedingung ein tolles Essen ok für zwei Personen war der Tisch zu klein passte nicht alles auf den Tisch aber echt 🙌

Went there for the first time yesterday, wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff with good service and the food was very delicious! The restaurant has a large selection of different dishes, including for vegans and vegetarians. It's just a shame that the portions are so small... unfortunately we weren't completely full 🙈

We are disappointed... Yes, the food is delicious but the value for money is not there. We ordered and paid over €55. Just under €20 per chicken in sauce, so €40. Then at home the surprise...There were only 5-6 small pieces in it :( and for 20€ a bit of rice and bread... for 55€ We decanted it to make it look appetizing... But the pictures clearly show how little it is. The meat cost 20€...that's chicken...

Everything was good. Food delicious. Portions big enough. Service good and friendly. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options available, spiciness can be selected. Will definitely come back again 👍

After we were very excited in February, we now have to say: catastrophe!! Dirty placemats, dry fried/cooked food. Missing desserts. Poor drinks service. Not again for the time being. Maybe you should also clear the weeds in the beer garden. The food was far too expensive for the quality delivered!!!!!

Very tasty original Indian cuisine. Various curries and tandoori dishes. Good selection of desserts too and don't forget the starters. I would be happy to come back, thank you very much. On Georg Street for some time now. Very nice atmosphere here, neat and clean. The boss comes to the table, asks if everything is okay and is happy to provide information about the food and its preparation.

I ordered by phone, three portions with one *extra* bread. The extra bread was the only bread there was, so two people were left without bread. Individual orders cannot be fulfilled here. You order something extra spicy and it arrives normally. Overall, the food tastes good, but unfortunately that's no use if the customers' wishes aren't taken into account.

It was a really nice evening with good food. Everything was delicious. For our taste it could have tasted a little more like Indian spices. The space we had was a bit cramped, but still ok. The restaurant was busy and therefore it was a bit noisy. We would recommend making a reservation in advance. Will definitely come here again.

Very friendly staff with an individual, personal approach. The type of rice to go with the main course was explained and recommended to us. That was very helpful. The nan with the chutneys was very good. I could have imagined the Tandori Masala to be spicier, unfortunately you weren't asked which level of spiciness you preferred. Very well-kept atmosphere, but this is a first requirement when visiting a restaurant, which has now become quite expensive.

Fantastic! We had to wait a bit at the beginning because we were a large group and we were compensated by appetizers and a round of drinks on the house. The staff was very nice and the food came quite quickly. In my opinion a top shop with friendly staff and good food. The only negative thing that could be said is that the drinks are served in quite small portions. Still a very deserved 5/5 stars!

The two of us were at Haris's on Saturday evening. The vegetarian dishes tasted very good, but there could have been more Indian cheese with the delicious sauce. The narrowness between the tables bothered us; undisturbed conversations are not possible. We also found the tight time frame unfavorable... we had to hurry up to finish on time because the next guests were already arriving. A little more time would be nice here... you don't go out to eat every day.

We have been regular guests at Hari's for many years and were very excited about the new rooms. It turned out really great, very bright and friendly, with good sound insulation. As always, the food is of the highest quality and a super friendly and competent staff.

Wir wollten einen schönen Abend im Haris verbringen, wurde leider nichts! Vorspeise: gebackenes und frittiertes Gemüse für zwei Personen zu einem Preis von 14,50: es waren drei Scheiben Auberginen, drei rohe Scheiben Kartoffeln und ein paar Zwiebelstreifen. Alles schmeckte nach altem Fritierfett. Die Hauptgerichte für je 19,90 Euro bestanden aus vier Stücke Hähnchen in einer Soße , Safran Reis (gegen Aufpreis) hatte den Safran von weitem gesehen, ebenfalls sind die Getränkepreise ebenfalls sehr hoch ( 0,2 l Cola zu 2,90 €) . Insgesamt ein enttäuschender, viel zu teurer Abend.

The food is still phenomenal. The atmosphere is a bit too modern for my taste, I preferred the feeling of the old restaurant. The service staff are very friendly, but on Saturday evenings when all the tables are occupied it takes a while. But I don't expect anyone to break themselves either. Gladly again and again!

First of all: The food deserves 5 stars. Extremely tasty and strongly spiced with Indian spices. The portion sizes are good. You can also create an appetizer or dessert. We had nan bread with chutney, lamb with spinach and marinated lamb on a skewer with curry sauce. Top! Otherwise everything is a bit cramped. So when the waitress served at the next table, the rear view for us was uncomfortably close to the table and almost at eye level. But why it's not 5 stars is the thing with the wine. You pay for 0.2 l, but you get an estimated 100-120 ml in small wine glasses that do not have a calibration mark. When we asked the service they said it was a 0.2 liter wine. I do not think so… For transparency alone, I would be happy with glasses with a calibration mark.

Very tasty food with a real Indian touch. We filled the table with lots of little things and enjoyed the food. The spiciness is adapted to our more sensitive tongues, but the good taste was unaffected. Yommy!

Leider nicht satt geworden. Waren etwas enttäuscht und hatten uns auch von den Gerichten mehr erwartet. Soßen stark mit Glutamat zubereitet. Hätten ich auch selber machen können. Aperol und Lillet kaum Alkohol enthalten. Leider kein 2. Mal.

The food was good, nothing more. Nothing to eat enough to eat. Small portions. I could have cooked myself at home. Aperol and Lillet hardly contain any alcohol. Expected more. Unfortunately not a repeat for us.

Were there on Valentine's Day. We were told as soon as we came in that we only had 90 minutes because then new guests would arrive. Maybe you should say it directly on the phone when you make a reservation. It took a very long time between courses. And ended up paying 90 euros. I found it too expensive. We wouldn't come again on Valentine's Day.
