Friendly and fast service, very tasty food

We were in Lingen this afternoon. The baked gyros was okay, but the calamari were fried much too dark and hard. The staff didn't respond to my criticism. The croquettes!! They weren't too dark. The upholstery on the benches was badly torn; no one would have taken them with the bulky waste. There were onion strips in front of the counter. No comparison to Samos in Meppen; the service there is excellent, the food is better, and the ambiance at Samos in Meppen is also significantly better. So, Meppen gets all the stars, Lingen maybe 25%. What a shame.

Price-performance ratio is unbeatable, a really good, diverse snack bar with friendly staff, only the ambience is a bit older and sparse

We stopped in here spontaneously for dinner. We received a friendly welcome. A good selection of food. The portions were very generous, the food was delicious, and the food was freshly prepared. We were delighted. This is a great place to stop.

Absolutely disappointing! I pre-ordered my food by phone and even repeated the order twice to make sure everything was correct. When I picked it up, I asked again just to be sure – and lo and behold: the order hadn't been understood correctly. Instead of solving the problem professionally, the employee accused me of lying in front of all the customers! He repeatedly repeated that I had placed the order differently. Absolutely outrageous and completely disrespectful behavior. He didn't even offer an apology. An absolute no-go for me – zero stars from me.

The food is good and the price is OK. Samos 1 in Meppen is better.

Delicious food and generous portions!

By far the best restaurant/snack bar in the area!!! If you ignore the ambiance, you get super delicious food at very reasonable prices and in portions I've never experienced before... I eat here every week. My recommendation is the special plate, which has everything a Greek restaurant has to offer (gyros, bifteki, pork steak, souvlaki), fries, and salad, all for just €15. Wow, you won't find that anywhere else.

We visited my mother and spontaneously grabbed food there. I'd give it ten stars if I could. It was the best gyro ever, and the bifteki was also amazing. Guys, your food is better than the food here in the Ruhr area. The portions are huge and the taste is amazing. The only thing you need to work on is making sure there are people who understand your language, even if it doesn't seem like it. 😉

The owner of the house is a real hoot; everyone gets a special saying (a real sales ace). Oh, and we also had a delicious breakfast. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Previous posters have already mentioned that the portions are large. Yes, you really do get full here. I had the farmer's plate today. The gyro was already very dry, but the souvlaki was almost impossible to cut with a knife. It's a shame, because the flavor was just right. The Metaxa sauce with mushrooms is awesome, and the fries are super tasty. One tip: watch the meat. Dry is bad.

We ordered chicken nuggets and chicken wings. The chicken wings were so dark that I cut the skin off all the wings. Had I eaten locally they would definitely have gone back. In addition, the nuggets and wings were put into the packaging so hot that it completely melted away in some places. This means that our children ate the plastic packaging straight away. Not very appetizing and extremely unhealthy! Unfortunately discovered too late. The cheese on the gratinated gyro (No.5) was also very dark and there was burnt sauce stuck to the edge of the packaging and under the fries. When I opened the lid it smelled burnt. The cheese ended up straight in the trash. Here too, the food would have been returned on site. On No.4, a very, very dark edge was cut off from a piece of meat. Too bad... Rice, salad, tzatziki and fries were ok. There was also a bottle of cola. The pickup time of 15 minutes was also fine.

My partner just got food there... we were told last time that there is basically no feta cheese in the mixed salad, I'm not allowed to eat it. Now I have a mixed salad with feta cheese in it. Don't think it's okay!

When I picked up our lunch there today, the employee was lying in the corner over 3 chairs to rest and you had to shout hello until he got up. There wasn't even an apology for it. Well, after that everything was fine until I got home with the food. The fries from number 14 were in the deep fryer for far too long and were completely over salted, just like the 3 pork steaks were over salted and dry. Our colleagues in Meppen can do that much better. The two No.7s were really tasty.

The food is always good. I've never been disappointed. And the portions are always large. Well seasoned, delicious meat, good salad. Special requests are taken into account. Everything is always great. 3 stars for the ambience because it's not a romantic restaurant, it has more of a fast food feel. But you can still eat well on site. And the service is good. And fast.

Ordering by phone can sometimes be a bit difficult due to communication issues. The food is ready within the specified period and the quality is good.

Ich würde auch 7 Sterne geben, wenn ihr versteht, was ich meine 😏 Meine erste Amtshandlung wenn ich die Heimat besuche.

Leider ist die Pita etwas türer geworden aber sie ist immernoch super lecker und reicht für den ganzen Tag. Das personal ist immer freundlich und stets bemüht das es schnell geht.

Ein tolles Schnellrestaurant mit sehr leckeren Gerichten! Dazu noch megalecker! Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Supernetter Service! Das Ambiente ist zwar sehr sauber, aber so gar nicht griechisch - das ginge besser 😉 Und die Portionen sind sooo groß, dass wir beim nächsten Mal vermutlich ein Kindergericht nehmen werden 😊 Auf jeden Fall kommen wir gerne wieder!

Top Essen, alles frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. KEINE Konservierungsstoffe und KEINE Strecker wie z. B. Xantan. Zazicki mit 100 % Joghurt. Fleisch von der Bratplatte, NICHT aus der Friteuse und nicht aus dem Froster. So selten, das muss man einfach honorieren....

Ein sauberer Grill mit vielseitigen Angeboten. Alle Speisen haben uns voll zugesagt. Die Preisleistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auch im Freien speisen. Der Grill liegt direkt an einer Hauptstraße. Geräusche lassen sich daher nicht vermeiden.

Dieser Grill ist immer einen Besuch wert! Seit einigen Jahren unser Anlaufpunkt wenn uns spontan nach griechischen Leckereien ist 🥗🌯

Absolut zufrieden, die Preis und Leistung passen absolut und es schmeckt herzhaft. Mich hat der Laden als Kunden immer wieder, wenn ich in Lingen bin, gewonnen.

Hier gerecht gehad wat ik ook bij Samos meppen bestel, dan liever naar meppen enige pluspunt je kunt hier buiten op terras zitten

Super leckeres Essen sehr große Portionen alles gut. Essen kam sehr zügig.

Das Gyros wurde vom Spieß abgeschnitten und dann noch mal in eine Pfanne gegeben. Wofür das sein sollte,weiß ich auch nicht. Vielleicht war es noch kalt oder nicht knusprig,keine Ahnung.Toll fanden wie das aber nicht.Deswegen gehen wir dort nicht noch einmal hin.

Das Essen ist hier sehr lecker... Große Portionen der Preis stimmt hier noch. Nur die Jägersoße schmeckt mir nicht. Ansonsten sehr lecker hier👍

Heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs..

Essen ist gut. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Mann muss halt sehen das es ein griechische " Pommesbude" ist. Was ich nicht negativ meine. Wenn man lust auf griechisch hat und nicht so lange warten kann ist das ein guter Anlaufpunkt

Wir haben dort schon öfter gegessen. Das Essen ist immer top. Besonders die Pommes sind unglaublich lecker. Sehr knusprig und sehr gut gewürzt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist nicht ganz so schön aber völlig ausreichend. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
