Very friendly service, delicious food! Quite large portions, but there are also starters etc. for those who are slightly hungry. The chocolate soufflé is absolutely recommended!! 👍🏻

We have been there for the third time in the last 1.5 years, always at the time of year when you can only sit inside. First of all: The food is delicious and of really good quality, the service is friendly and quick. However, I deduct 2 points. 1. When we came in and stood in the main room, the room was extremely foggy with smoke and haze from the adjacent kitchen. The ceiling spotlights cast the beam of light downwards as if the fog machine had been turned on in a disco. Luckily we had a table in the next room, the winter garden. It also smelled extremely like kitchen fumes there. When we went home, all of our wardrobes, including our underwear, smelled of strong kitchen fumes. The hair, jackets, scarves and coats also stank. Everything had to go into the laundry box immediately and we hung the jackets/coats outside to air out for two days. It is important to ensure better ventilation here. This was also the case on the 2 previous visits. 2. The portion sizes are really big. Even the best eater can't manage it. My friend had the senior plate and even though she is a really good eater, 1/4 was left on the plate. A starter of toasted bread and olive paste was way too big. 6 halves of bread rolls...who can do that and eat a main course afterwards? 4 bun halves would certainly have been enough. We looked at the cleared plates that were brought back to us from other tables: there was a lot left on each one. This cannot be in the spirit of good gastronomy and sustainability if so much food has to be thrown away. Reduced the price and quantity of the plated meals by €1.50. Nobody will complain that the portions are too small and even the strongest Emslander will still be able to fill their stomachs. Our conclusion: We only come in summer when you can sit outside on the terrace and only order senior plates. The price/performance ratio and sustainability are also justified because in our opinion all the themed plates are overpriced at €24-26 and charging €7 for a bottle of water is bordering on cheeky.

It is always an experience at Syrtaki as the food and quality are always of the same high standard and the team is extremely friendly.

Went there again on Saturday after a long time. Very friendly staff and the ambience is second to none in Lingen. The food is very tasty and also very appealing to the eye. I can only recommend everyone to go there once. By far the best Greek in Lingen.

It felt like 200g of gyros and a handful of fries for 17 euros. Children's plate was an approx. 1cm thin mini schnitzel with more breading than meat (you have to manage it first) and a handful of fries for 10 euros. If only the food had been good at least, but we're talking about poor quality here. When I asked if everything was good and I told him sensibly that the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me, the waiter felt personally attacked and reacted cheekily. Then don't ask if you can't handle criticism. It was definitely the last time we were there. Every snack bar is better, wannabe restaurant.

We were there for lunch twice today, July 7th, 2024, without a reservation. Highly recommended, the menu even offers “senior citizens’ plates”, i.e. smaller portions are completely sufficient and overall very tasty 😋. Service and owner are very friendly. We even got 2x free ouzo, which is also something special. We can highly recommend the restaurant and thank you. See you next time 😀

The three of us were there on a Saturday evening without a reservation. The place was very full. Nevertheless, they still had a table for us. The food was very tasty and came without a long wait. The portions justify the price. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. All in all a nice place. We recommend. Will definitely come back again.

Bester Grieche im Emsland Ein tolles Restaurant im mittlerem Emsland. Authentisch griechisch essen, nette Atmosphäre und stets freundliche Bedienung . Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und das Personal war super freundlich!

Es war alles in Ordnung und es war sicherlich keine Fehlentscheidung dort zu essen, aber es gibt Restaurants mit einer besseren Qualität des Essens. Aber wir würden dennoch wieder dort hingehen.

Vor Ort wurden wir wieder vom freundlichen Personal empfangen und rasch an den Platz gebracht. Nach kürzester Zeit wurden Getränke und Speisen aufgenommen. Wir haben nicht lange gewartet und dann kam auch die leckeren und völlig ausreichenden Gerichte. Es wird sogar auf Wunsch das übriggebliebene Essen zum mitnehmen eingepackt, damit es nicht in Tonne wandert. Einfach nur sehr gut und lecker. Macht weiter so. Wir kommen wieder.

Immer freundliches Personal. Essen schmeckt immer gut. Auch mit Kindern super zu besuchen.

Sehr gute Location, mit sehr vielen Plätzen. An einem sehr späten Montagabend war das Restaurant no h sehr gut besucht. Gute Personalorganisation, da alles wirklich gut durchdacht und im guter Geschwindigkeit voran ging. Das Beste ist aber definitiv das Essen. Das Gyros ist saftig, geschmackvoll und nicht so trocken, wie mancherorts. Auch Suflaki und Bifteki waren von bester Qualität. Auch die Beilagen Reis und Pommes nicht nur in ausreichender Menge, sondern ebenfalls von bestem Geschmack. Dieses Restaurant ist von absoluter Empfehlung in meinem bisherigen Ranking ganz weit oben anzusiedeln. Die volle Punktzahl hätte es gegeben, wenn das nachgeorderte Getränk angekommen wäre. Da wir aber zu später Stunde vor Ort waren, das Essen bestens und das Lokal ein tolles Ambiente hatte, ist diese Winzigkeit weckzuzwinkern.

Vielen Dank für die nette Bewirtung. Das Personal ist super freundlich und schnell. Das Essen ist mega lecker und reichlich. Was man nicht schaft wird auf Anfrage eingepackt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr Empfehlenswert.

Η μεριδες ειναι αρκετα μεγαλες.Το καλοκαιρι μπορεις να κατσεις ευχαριστα στον εξωτερικο χωρο , ο κηπος ειναι ευρυχωρος και πραγματικα θυμιζει ελλαδα . Υπαρχει ανετος χωρος σταθμευσης και για αυτοκινητα και για ποδηλατα. Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα σε οποιονδηποτε. Ευχαριστουμε θερμα, θα τα ξαναπουμε συντομα!
