**Review: Steakhouse Vaquero Lingen** Yesterday, my family and I dined at Steakhouse Vaquero again. Unfortunately, the evening was a completely negative experience, which I'd like to share. First of all, the wait before we could place our order was very long. We sat at the table for what felt like at least 30 minutes without anyone paying any attention to us. Later, the waitress seemed more focused on clearing the dishes from the empty tables. She didn't ask if we wanted to order another drink. I had already placed my empty beer glass on the table, hoping it would be a signal, but even that went unnoticed. Ultimately, I had to order my second beer myself at the bar, which I don't expect in a restaurant of this price range. When we finally received our food, the disappointment was complete. I ordered a 300-gram filet mignon but received only a 230-gram steak. Although a 70-gram addition was brought to my table after I inquired about it, I still felt like I hadn't been taken seriously when the steak was first served. Overall, our visit to the Vaquero steakhouse was anything but satisfactory. The long wait, the lack of service, and the incorrect steak size significantly spoiled our evening. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at this time. It's a shame; we were all looking forward to this evening.

Overall, a pleasant evening with good food. The selection was quite good. It's a shame they didn't offer any cocktails. The food was very good. Very well cooked and served hot. The decorations on the food don't need to be over the top, but they were nice. Unfortunately, we had many small errors in our orders, even though they were repeated at checkout. These were handled with courtesy. The service in general was very professional otherwise. The price/performance ratio is adequate.

If you love good meat, then this steakhouse is definitely a destination worth visiting. The service was very nice and friendly, the food was delicious, and we were full. The "Schocko Souple" dessert was particularly delicious!

Fancy place, but...well, for the money, I expected much better. The meat was tasty, but very, very expensive. The salad was okay...but the wedges, I'd rather have something homemade, not frozen wedges 🙈 A shame...

Expectations were high and were ultimately disappointed, so we have a few comments that might help you improve your service: Ordering: When ordering the filet platter for €34.00, we weren't asked how we wanted it cooked. This is usually an important point to consider when ordering filets. Wrong dish: After the wrong dish (chicken with onions) was brought to our table, we had to point out several times that we had ordered a filet platter. It then turned out that the waiter simply didn't know what he was serving. The lamb filet was unfortunately served raw, and the server initially didn't respond very attentively. Drinks service: There were long waits for drinks, and after asking several times, we only received our order with a delay. The server's response that she was stressed made us feel that our concerns weren't being taken seriously as guests at our table.

Unfortunately, the meat was served with the wrong degree of doneness, for 3 out of 3 pieces. But it was taken back. The service left a lot to be desired. No one asked how the food was. Drinks were empty, and no one asked about them either. Even when paying, no one asked if everything was OK. I wouldn't come back. It wasn't crowded, only a few tables were occupied.

A True Steak Paradise I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic steakhouse, and I can only say I was more than impressed! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me eager for a great meal. The highlight of the evening was definitely the steak. It was cooked to perfection—beautifully seared on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. I opted for a ribeye steak and wasn't disappointed. The flavor was simply divine—juicy, tender, and bursting with mouthwatering aromas. It came with sweet potato fries, which were the perfect complement to the steak. They were crispy and sweet, just as you'd want them. The combination of the savory steak and the sweet fries was simply superb. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. In summary, I can highly recommend this steakhouse. If you're looking for a place to enjoy an incredibly delicious steak, this is the place to be. I can't wait to come back soon!

We dined there with 11 people. The food, as well as the friendliness of the staff, was of a high standard. Each dish is prepared and served with the utmost care. We would be happy to return sometime.

Waitress not customer friendly, subtle comments, that's not appropriate. Starter good, main course, one (fillet steak) good, the other (Vaquero "gourmet pan") not, beef indefinable, pork fillet tasted strange... There was no clearing up after the meal, no question as to whether you were satisfied... When eating, don't ask for a second drink or ask for a dessert after the meal. Nothing. Two people, (unfortunately only) two drinks and an appetizer for over one hundred euros...you expect good treatment as a customer and a great meal...probably asking too much. Therefore, for one thing, a one-time visit.

Three Saturdays I tried to reserve a table. Unfortunately it was full. Last week there was finally a table available for 6 people. The food was wonderful. the quality is fantastic. The wait was worth it. we will definitely come back.

Excellent Steakhouse! Coming from Canada, I also wondered if they accepted credit cards—rest assured, they do. The tip is included, and you need to wait at the door for someone to guide you to your table. The steak is incredibly juicy—perhaps a bit pricier compared to Alberta, but thie quality and service make it absolutely worth it! Thanks for the wonderful experience; I’ll definitely be back.

This is such a great restaurant!! When we walked in, we were greeted warmly. Then we sat down and ordered. In my opinion, the service was very good throughout 👍. The food was so excellent, I can't describe it, it's simply wonderful. The service was top-notch. The menu had a lot of great options. The drinks were great. Overall, a perfect restaurant. Simply excellent. Spontaneously got a table for two on New Year's Eve. Even though we were on the periphery, we were constantly seen and looked after. The staff was unobtrusively attentive. Excellent! The food arrived quickly, with sufficient breaks between courses. - Calamari, bruschetta - Steak pan, rump steak, steakhouse chips, sweet potato fries - Panacotta, tartuffo limoncello Everything is recommended! Even at the end of the reservation, a digestif was discreetly offered as a reminder that the end was over. If we come back to Lingen, we'll be back.

We were traveling with a small group to end the year with a Christmas dinner together. We have visited the restaurant several times and were really impressed again this time. The food tastes excellent! And you can really let off steam at the salad bar. There is also the option of sitting outside (with or without a roof) when the weather is nice. Since the steakhouse is always very busy (no wonder given the delicious food), it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. We are already looking forward to the next time and would love to come back!

Were there for the family's Christmas party/dinner, reserved for 6 p.m. Then we were told that we had to leave by 7:30 p.m. because the tables would be re-booked from then on (2nd round of guests). From 7.15 p.m. the entrance was already full of guests who had reserved tables for 7.30 p.m. That's impossible... It was a quick process, you couldn't eat comfortably. NOT recommended!!

The quality of the food at the Vaquero steak house was convincing - we had rib eye, the chicken breast fillet in cream cheese sauce and the scampi - most of it was really tasty. However, the visit was marred by the inattentive service, which unfortunately left a lot to be desired overall. The service was neither quick nor attentive, and there were significant problems with the dishes not coming to the table at the same time. I can tolerate 2 minutes, but not 5-10 minutes until the last side dishes are there. In addition, a request from us to celebrate a birthday was completely ignored. Das war unser dritter Besuch im Vaquero und wenn es uns mal wieder nach Lingen treibt werden wir hier wieder essen. Nettes und lockeres Personal und wirklich top Essen.Rumpsteak und Schweinefilet absolut top. Beim Abräumen wurde sich für die Wartezeit entschuldigt was absolut unnötig war. Es war alles völlig ok. Von mir eine dicke Empfehlung für das Vaquero.

It wasn't the first visit to this steakhouse in Lingen for the two of us today. The beef tenderloin was well grilled and well prepared. Where there is light, there is also shadow: The name VAQUERO means cowboy. The guest's expectations are towards "American". Unfortunately, the owner makes sure to remember Greek culinary experiences. A sour cream must be a sour cream and not mixed with tzatziki. What's arugula doing among the fried shrimp? What taste experience do grilled peppers create with lots of rocket? Here they do everything perfectly: Bruschetta is second to none, the steaks the way you want them, even the sea bream fillets with the vegetables were great. The salad buffet: everything crisp and fresh with a good selection. The staff were very friendly, they fulfilled all of our wishes.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a ribeye steak at Vaquero Steakhouse and absolutely loved it! From the start the experience was excellent. There was enough staff in the restaurant so we never had to wait long to place our order. The quality of the food was outstanding. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly – tender, juicy and full of flavor. Particularly impressive was the free and extensive salad bar, which offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff at Vaquero was extremely nice and friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The ambience of the restaurant is very calm and modern, ideal for a relaxed dinner. The seats are also very comfortable, so you feel completely comfortable. All in all, my visit to Vaquero Steakhouse was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

Steakhouse right next to the hotel. Haven't eaten such good steak in a long time. My wife had the Surf&Turf and was very enthusiastic about it too. I can also recommend the chocolate cake with a liquid core as dessert. We were served very courteously and at the end they even pointed out the voucher through the hotel room. Food was super tasty. Top salad at the salad bar. The feta and tzatziki were my highlight 😁 Bread was good. The french fries were mega. The pan was well seasoned and also delicious. The only thing we didn't like was the garlic dip with the bread, which didn't taste like garlic but more like cocktail sauce or something. Service was great, everyone was nice. You sit relatively close to the other tables, so you hear almost every conversation. Personally, it's not that bad. If it bothers you, listen away😂 The facility looks great.

Eat: Gets all 5 stars from me. I was very pleased. I had a rump steak rare and it was very tender. The meat is also served on a hot plate with herb butter (our own). I also had potato wedges and they were very crunchy and really hot. Furthermore, there was a salad as a starter in the buffet that you could put together yourself. This was very fresh and the dressings were very tasty and varied. Service: The service was very friendly and great care was taken to ensure that everything was good. Essen war lecker, auch wenn ich falsch bestellt hatte. Für mich war es etwas unterwürzt, was aber nichts war, was man nicht leicht beheben konnte. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und extrem guter Service!

We wanted a table for 6 people on Thursday. Unfortunately it was full. We came a day early. Even though the restaurant was full we were served very quickly. Everything was perfect!!!

Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Die Vorspeisen allein waren schon teilweise groß wie eine Hauptspeise. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider haben wir sehr lang auf das Essen warten müssen, allerdings kann ich auch nur eine Aussage treffen bezüglich einer größeren Gesellschaft. Wie schnell das Essen kommt wenn man mit weniger Gästen da ist weiß ich nicht. Das Ambiente an sich ist schön, leider hat mir der Lärmpegel nicht gefallen. Ich finde es sehr unglücklich gewählt drei große Gesellschaften in einer Ecke zu versammeln. Im großen und ganzen ist das Lokal aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr gutes Essen. Das Lammfilet und die Mousse au Cocolat ist wirklich gut. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Parken ist auch in der Tiefgarage vom LookenInn Hotel möglich, der Parkschein wird dann entwertet.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Steakhaus Vaquero und würden es empfehlen. Schönes Ambiente, freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter und leckere Speisen. Bestellt habe ich die Nummer 40. Lammfilet mit Kartoffelscheiben. Dazu gab es ein Salat vom Buffet, den man sich selbst zusammenstellen konnte. Die Auswahl am Buffet war gut. Das Lammfilet war lecker, die Kartoffelscheiben ok. Meiner Meinung nach sollte die Mayonnaise vernünftig in Schalen oder auf dem Teller serviert werden und nicht in Portionsbeutel an den Tisch. Auch sollte Sprite serviert werden wenn es klar in der Karte als solche definiert ist. Dies passt nicht zu dem was sonst im Steakhaus vermittelt wird. Sonst rundum gelungen. Gerne wieder :)

Die Bedienung kam sehr zügig mit der Speisekarte. Mein Kumpel und ich hatten den Schlemmerteller. Wenn man wirklich Hunger hat, sollte man sich eine Vorspeise bzw. Dessert dazubestellen. Das Essen kam nach ca. 15 min zum Platz. Es war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt gegart. Besten Dank an die Küche dafür. Leider haben sich die Kellner nicht abgesprochen und wurde 3 mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, was ich aber nicht unbedingt als störend empfinde. Ich war das erste Mal hier essen und komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Alles in Allem war es ein gelungener Abend mit gutem Essen.

Guter und zuvorkommender Service, leckeres Essen. Und preislich ist es auch angemessen. Also ich persönlich gehe immer sehr gerne im Vaquero essen.

Modernes, gehobeneres Ambiente. Sehr gemütlich, nicht zu laut. Sehr gut geschultes Personal, stets höflich und aufmerksam. Die Karte ist vielseitig, jedoch nicht zu überladen. Die Qualität des Steaks ist sehr gut. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk und scheint geschult im Steak grillen. Das Fleisch war punktgenau gegrillt (medium). Zum Steak gibt es vom Salatbuffet einen Teller zum selber füllen. Auch hier eine ordentliche Auswahl mit leckeren Soßen. Sideorder sind hinzuzubuchen. Preise sind dem Durschnitt entsprechend. Ein gutes Steak gibt es eben nicht für 10,-€. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Zügig wurden uns die Speiekarten gereicht, das kalte Bier ließ auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Wir bestellten Hähnchenfilet in Gorgonzolasauce und Schweinefilet mit Champions und Zwiebeln. Am Salatbuffet konnte man sich seinen Salat nach Belieben zusammenstellen. Das Essen wurde heiß serviert, war reichlich und sehr lecker. Die dazu servierten Kartoffelchips mal etwas anderes und ebenfalls sehr gut. Es hat uns hier sehr gut gefallen.

Schönes gemütliches Restaurant, mit einer tollen Terasse. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Abend verbracht. Das Essen war erste Sahne, ich hab selten so toll gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

War ok. Haben lange gewartet bis wir bedient wurden. Der einen Kellner hat lieber am Nebentisch gequatscht als Bestellungen aufzunehmen. In so einer Lokalität erwartet man auch ein Sie und kein Du . Das Essen war ok für 2x Vorspeise und 2x Hauptgericht 100€ waren nicht gerechtfertigt, da das Gesamtpaket einfach nicht gepasst hat.

Es war ein toller Abend. Der Service schnell und Kompetent, witzig und locker. Das Essen eine 10/10, Safe. Wir waren zu dritt und haben das Rumpsteak für 300g mit leckeren Beilagen gegessen. Perfekt gebraten und es war keine Reklamation notwendig. Ein sehr gelungener Abend!! Empfehlenswert!

Die Atmosphäre vom Laden bis hin zum Essen war erste Klasse. Wir haben auch nicht lange aufs Essen warten müssen, es war zügig am Tisch. Das Essen war erstklassig und einfach nur mega gut. Das Filet was ich hatte war richtig mega, es hat in der Pfanne noch ein wenig weiter gebrutzelt, so ein Filet hab ich seit langem nicht mehr gegessen. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so mega gut gegessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Bestens zu empfehlen. Ein dickes Lob an die Küche sowie an das gesamte Team,sie waren alle mega nett gewesen, und man hat sich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Bis jetzt ist es das beste Steakhaus in Lingen, weiter so 😊👍🏻👍🏻.

Wir waren sehr begeistert. Essen schmeckte sehr gut.Service war sehr gut und die Kellner/innen waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Eir kommen definitiv wieder.
