The food or the amount that is served doesn't look like much at first. We ate everything (which is also due to the great taste🤤) and were full ☝🏻. The ambience is unfortunately reminiscent of a German farmhouse and suggests good home-style cooking. Unfortunately, the Indian feeling doesn't really come across. Well, after all, you're here for the food.

Delicious Indian food and attentive service

This was the second time we've been there and we're absolutely thrilled. Very cozy and tasteful ambience accompanied by typical music like you know from Bollywood films. A generous card. The rice is “on point”. Meat, salad, sauces and bread were very tasty. A mango schnapps rounds the whole thing off. The service is very good. Very short waiting time. The price-performance ratio is right. All in all, something like an insider tip in the Soltau/Schneverdingen area where the gastronomy (Brauhaus Soltau as an extreme example of fraud on guests) has declined. If you would like to go on a short culinary excursion, we can highly recommend this small restaurant. We'll be back.

Wonderful ambience that matches the style of the restaurant without slipping into kitsch. An extremely friendly and, above all, natural-looking service person who asks politely about your health and satisfaction without seeming intrusive. The food was very satisfactory in all aspects and in a very good quantity, although it should be emphasized that extra rice is even free (we didn't make use of it). Waiting times are relaxed, the music in the restaurant is pleasant and you can have a good conversation without having to speak loudly. So also very suitable for a group. The whole thing can't really be topped, except for the incredible price-performance ratio! Highly recommended, I would eat here again without hesitation.

Delicious food, served quickly, great for quick hunger

We came to this restaurant twice during our vacation. Since the weather was always good, we always sat outside. And you sit really comfortably there and if you wanted it even more comfortable, you even got seat cushions. There were also enough parasols available. The service was perfect. We were kindly informed that there was also a lunch menu, meaning smaller portions but cheaper. And we would have easily paid more for this delicious meal (we tried a total of 6 different dishes).

Food very good, selection also very good, nice staff. The only thing I don't like is the decoration, but I'm only there to eat. We'll be back.

Went there to eat based on a flyer that was distributed at the campsite. Food was good and tasted good. Price performance was right. The only thing we found a bit strange was no regional beer and the price was a bit steep. For half a liter of Bit €6.10 a stiff price

Friendly welcome, free choice of table, extensive menu. Dishes can also be prepared vegan upon request. It's great that there is so much flexibility. Service was super fast, staff friendly & open. The food was delicious and we were both happy and satisfied. Definitely a recommendation for the vegan community! Extra points for the friendliness and such nice people! Thank you very much!

Finally vegan food in Schneverdingen! I've enjoyed everything so far. When you're there, you can always order rice. The service is super friendly and the prices are completely reasonable. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in. If the weather is good you can sit on the terrace with your dog. I always like to come back!

The reception was very friendly after we had reserved two seats by phone. We were well advised regarding the food and the waiting time was short. Lamb and duck were well prepared and the rice was tasty and grainy. A little note: spicy in the menu also means really spicy! We enjoyed the food and will be back on our next visit to Schneverdingen!

We were in the restaurant for the first time with friends. The food and service were ok. Visually, unfortunately, there was nothing reminiscent of an Indian restaurant.

It was a very tasty experience. Staff totally friendly and very accommodating. Special requests are taken into account and a lot of time is taken for the customer. Even when understaffed, the employees always tried hard and remained friendly. We would like to come again!

I had been looking forward to this visit days before. Knew we'd go there when we were in Schneverdingen. Were received very friendly. Orders were taken quickly and drinks came to the table quickly. But we were disappointed with the food. The menu would have liked to say that it was meat with bones My husband expected something completely different. Then ordered a special dish with different sauces and was looking forward to it, then they said it was all combined in one sauce. It really wasn't tasty. Unfortunately I had stomach problems all night after my vegetable balls. It's actually always my regular menu but it was really disappointing there. The bread and salad were delicious. The rice was way too hard for me. The portions didn't fill us up either. We know it differently

Great atmosphere, I felt like I was in New Delhi, India, service unfortunately wasn't the best but understandably the shop was full. The meal was delicious !

Very nice service with good recommendations. Very flexible with special requests. Food super tasty and very nicely presented. Spicy, but not overly spicy. The naan bread with the dips was incredibly tasty and I would order it again and again.

Were here on vacation and are absolutely thrilled! The food is fantastic, the boss and staff are very friendly and accommodating and great value for money. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take our dog into the restaurant, so we opted for take away.

There is a large selection of different dishes. The service is friendly. The ambience is not 100% right. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible, but this will be pointed out at the entrance. The dishes were very tasty and attractively prepared. There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes

We were be here long time , the food in the past was not good , but now they changed the cook, I would say : it might be the one of best Indian restaurant in this area, really delicious and the service also very friendly. The only thing can be enhanced is the price of heiwezen Bier 🍺 too too too expensive:6,10€. That’s why I only give 4 stars .

Super leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Das Ambiente passt. Ich habe hier die vegetarischen Speisen probiert. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß und was mit am meisten gefällt ist, dass es mal was anderes, zu den gängigen Bandnudeln mit Tomatensauce oder Tortellini oder ähnliches, ist. Top Restaurant!

Schön eingerichtet, sehr nettes Personal, nicht preiswert, aber meist lecker. Eine von uns Vieren hatte Salat und der war nicht sättigend. Mein Nachtisch (frittierte Banane in Honig) war gar nicht lecker.

Essen war sehr lecker aber bißchen zu teuer

Nachdem unsere Lieblingsrestaurants alle schließen mussten, haben wir hier eher zufällig ein indisches Restaurant gefunden, das von Anfang an durch das gemütliche und stilechte Ambiente einen hervorragenden Eindruck machte. Die Speisen sind klassisch indisch, sehr reichhaltig und sehr erschwinglich. Die Speisekarte hat für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das sehr freundliche Personal berät auch gern und und die Zubereitungszeit ist selbst bei vollem Haus schnell. Sehr zu empfehlen! -Wir haben dies inzwischen zu einem unserer Stammrestaurants gemacht!

Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt und auch der Service war gut. Umso bedauerlicher war dann, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich war. Ja, das stand am Eingang auf einem kleinen Schild, welches aber keiner von uns 5 Personen gelesen hat. Zu Hause ist uns dann aufgefallen, dass die Rechnung auch nicht stimmte. Als wir darauf im Restaurant anrufen, um darauf hinzuweisen hat man uns gesagt, dass die aktuellen Preise im Internet stehen würden. Sorry, dass geht gar nicht. Ein Restaurant muss schon darauf achten, dass die Preise in der Karte stimmen oder zumindest bei der Bestellung darauf hinweisen, dass etwas teurer ist als in der Karte angegeben. Daher von uns leider nur 3 Sterne.

Super leckeres Essen. Und selbst die schärfsten Gerichte kann man in unterschiedlichen Schärfegraden bestellen, wenn man es ein wenig milder braucht oder richtig schön würzig. Leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich, obwohl man auf der Webseite auch ohne Bargeld zahlen kann per Klarna oder Paypal.

Essen war lecker, die Preise sind okay. Der Service müsste noch etwas geordneter ablaufen, aber es war auch sehr voll. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Restaurant sich gut etabliert damit die Vielfalt der Restaurants sich in Schneverdingen endlich mal wieder vergrößert

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Auswahl umfangreich. Der Service prima. Leider war es zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches, nicht möglich, mit EC-Karte zu zahlen, so dass wir nicht die einzigen Gäste waren, die nochmal einen Bankautomaten aufsuchen mussten. Die online Reservierung funktionierte sehr gut.

Das Essen ist gut, allerdings ist der Service und die Kundenorientierung eher dürftig. Statt nach einer halben Stunde, kam das Essen nach 2 Stunden lauwarm an. Man wurde nicht informiert und bei Nachfrage eher abgewimmelt. Ein Entgegenkommen gab es nicht.

Wir waren in der Gegend im Urlaub und haben uns sehr darüber gefreut so ein leckeres indisches Abendessen hier vorzufinden. Es hat uns beiden sehr gut geschmeckt, das Essen kam super schnell und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war unschlagbar gut. Die Kellnerinnen waren wirklich sehr nett und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen definitiv nochmal vorbei, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, schnelles und gutes Essen, ich find die Karte etwas zu groß. Ist allerdings kein überwiegendes Kriterium. Ansonsten ein schöner Abend.

Mittagskarte und Preise top! Ich fand es sehr lecker, nicht so salzig wie meistens bei indischen Essen. Mit Getränken haben wir zu zweit 25 Euro bezahlt.

Wir waren gestern dort, als Abschluss eines tollen Wald Urlaubs. Beim reinkommen ist man direkt vom wunderschönen Ambiente geflasht, es leuchten zahllose bunte und diskrete Lampen. Ein steingefasster Kamin, Bilder vom Taj Mahal und Szenen aus dem indischen Alltag und die Tischdeko springen ins Auge. Indische Musik, gemütliche orientalische Kissen. Alles macht einen noblen Eindruck, worauf der qualitativ hochwertige Restaurant Flyer auch schließen ließ. Eine irre appetitliche Speisekarte. Die Gerichte schmeckten uns vorzüglich. Besonders hervorzuheben der Mango Lassie, die Kokos Scampi Suppe, das Chicken Medan. Die Preise sehr gut. Der Koch/Inhaber ist sehr zuvorkommend und höflich, sprach unsere Kinder nett an. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und wünschen dem Restaurant alles erdenklich Gute!

Einfach nur perfekt. Das Personal war sehr schnell und freundlich, das Essen ausgezeichnet und das Ambiente warm und einladend. Das Restaurant ist zwar etwa 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, aber trotzdem würde ich gerne nochmal hin!

Unser Abend bei Rice & Spice in der Lüneburger Heide war ein wahres Fest für die Sinne. Die herzliche Begrüßung und die aufmerksame Betreuung durch unseren Kellner fanden wir sehr angenehm. Es ist bedauernswert, dass andere Verpflichtungen meinen Mann und mich zur Eile zwangen, da wir gerne noch länger geblieben wären, um das Ambiente weiter zu genießen. Bezüglich des Trinkgeldes muss ich gestehen, dass ich mich verrechnet habe und dem Kellner weniger zukommen ließ, als er eigentlich verdient hätte. Ein solch vorzügliches Restauranterlebnis, sei es aufgrund des exzellenten Services, der einnehmenden Atmosphäre oder der kulinarischen Künste des Küchenchefs, verdient zweifellos großzügige Anerkennung. Wir möchten uns aufrichtig für diesen kurzen, aber unvergesslichen Abend bedanken. Wir sind auf der Durchreise und werden beim nächsten mal gerne wieder vorbeischauen.

Waren Heute in dem Restaurant . Es ist schön Eingerichtet, das Personal sehr nett und ging auf unsere Wünsche ein. Wir haben von allem etwas genommen und somit viel zum probieren gehabt, von Fisch ,Chicken und Lamm es war einfach sehr lecker. Wir werden wieder kommen. Einfach zu empfehlen.

Haben hier sehr gut gegessen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Lamm Medan in köstlicher Sauce. Paneer Pakora als Vorspeise war auch sehr gut. Dazu freundlicher Service und schönes Ambiente.

Wir haben dort Essen zum Abholen bestellt. Als wir zum Abholen gekommen sind, wurden wir von einem super super lustigem Team begrüßt. Chef, wie auch die restlichen Kollegen, heißen alle mit Zweitnamen "Gastfreundschaft". Uns wurde ein Mangoschnaps zur Begrüßung angeboten, zu Hause haben wir sogar gesehen, dass uns ein Gratis-Dip eingepackt wurde. Spaß beim Abholen und gutes Essen. Gerne was schärfer beim nächsten Mal, aber da ist ja jeder jeck anders. Grazie mile und dobre veće. :)
