It was very, very tasty. I would say that this was the best Greek place we've ever eaten, and we often eat at different Greek restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. I had gyros gratinated. Since I'm sensitive to salt in food, I like to try the Metaxa sauce beforehand. That wasn't a problem at all and it was very fresh and homemade, not salty at all. We would love to come back!

Service, only 3 stars. Why ? We had ordered an Alster for dinner in which there was no or hardly any carbonation, we then kindly returned it and were somewhat annoyed by the gentleman behind the bar who pointed out that it wasn't right. We still received a new Alster, the manner was not customer-friendly.

First of all, a restaurant with good and enough staff, all very attentive, very good. Food top in terms of quantity and taste. Price/performance fits. What we didn't really like was when the service had nothing to do, there were three of them standing in the doorway to the restaurant (we were sitting outside) and you felt very under observation. Ambiance refers to the terrace, which was standard 0/8/15

We came here as a group of 8 people and had made a short reservation in advance. Luckily the restaurant is big enough so we were able to get a spot for ourselves. Everyone enjoyed all the dishes and the portions were large enough. My personal highlight was the tzatziki. It had a subtle creamy note. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant looks cozy. It has a nice decor. We definitely recommend it!

I would say so. The lunch menu is clearly too expensive and has little selection. Quality doesn't really blow you away either. There are better Greek restaurants in the area.

Anyone staying in Schneverdingen should not miss out on visiting ATHENS. Very good and extensive selection of dishes that leave no taste buds wanting. Whether classic gyros, fish dishes, etc. Everything is great! Also worth mentioning is the attentive and warm service. (The steaks are also highly recommended) An address that is second to none. Great...I'll say it again: THANK YOU!

Food very good. Very large portions, so we took the rest with us. However, only the meat was packed for us. The remaining fries, rice and tzatziki plus onions were not packed. Very unfortunate.

We came here spontaneously on Good Friday without a reservation. We were lucky and got a nice seat by the window. The restaurant is bright and friendly. Our order was taken including special requests. These were also implemented brilliantly by the kitchen. The food came quickly, warm and exactly as requested. TOP. Prices are rather higher for a Greek, but the quality and size of the portions also justify this.

The beautiful ambience of the restaurant made for a relaxing and cozy evening out. The bifteki were very tasty, the fries were perfect and there was rice without asking. Very good! The salad was perfect. Crisp leaves, delicious sauce and well peppered. The service was very friendly and attentive. The toilets are new and well maintained. Overall, a nice evening.

We had heard different opinions before our visit. But we were absolutely thrilled. The calamari was divine and so was the pepper sauce. We will be back!

Der Service und das Ambiente ist gut bis sehr gut. Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Im Vergleich zu anderen griechischen Restaurants um Schneverdingen herum ist das Essen im Athen nur "okay", dafür die Preise (wie sooft in Schneverdingen generell) ziemlich deftig.

Das Restaurant ist sauber und hell, mit italienischen Accessoires versehen und mit einer sehr freundlichen Bedienenden bereichert. Das Essen: Wenn ich künftig ein Cordon Bleu bestelle, muss ich darauf gefasst sein, ein Kotelett mit ein wenig geschmolzenem Käse darauf zu bekommen. So in diesem Restaurant, wenn man ein griechisches Bifteki bestellt - man bekommt ein festes Stück Hackfleisch mit eben dem geschmolzenem Käse darauf. Wenn man es nicht besser weis, kann man ja mal einen Griechen fragen. Er wird antworten, ein Bifteki ist ein mit mediterranen Kräutern gewürztes Hacksteak, gefüllt mit - Achtung ⚠️ mit Schafskäse, nicht Weißkäse, nicht Gouda und nicht kein Käse, das ist dann eine Frikadelle - und die ist dann keine 17.50 Euro wert. Da reißen die Pommes und der Klacks Kräuterquark auch nichts mehr raus. Gyros kann man auch ein wenig krosser herstellen. Insgesamt drängt sich griechische Köstlichkeit einem nicht gerade auf.

Das Essen war superlecker,frische Champignons und das Gyros nicht trocken.auch die Bedienung war klasse.wir kommen wieder 👍

Waren relativ spontan da, 30 min vorher angerufen. Hatten Hähnchen in Champignonsauce und Rumpsteak. Das Essen kam innerhalb von 10-15 min obwohl viele Gäste da waren und hat echt top geschmeckt. Portionsgröße perfekt und qualitativ gut.

Modern eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt, eine übersichtlich gestaltete Karte in der jeder etwas findet, auch wenn es mal nicht Griechisch sein soll. Speisen werden heiß und sehr schmackhaft serviert. Vorher, mittendrin und nachher wird Ouzo angeboten. Jederzeit wieder...

Hier hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Speisen sind lecker und das Fleisch von guter Qualität. Die Portionen haben wir als groß empfunden. Preis-Leistung wirklich top. Auch der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und alles ging zügig.

Hätten zu viert Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte. Alles erstklassig. Der erste Grieche, der unseren stammgrichen das Wasser reichen kann.

Wir hatten reserviert und das war gut so 😀 hier brannte die Luft. Toller Service, das Essen war super und auch ein schönes Ambiente. Wenn man was bekritteln war, es die gewaltige Lautstärke. Nichts desto trotz: klare Empfehlung 💯👍🏼

Das Essen war richtig lecker. Die Portion (für den kleinen Hunger) war reichlich. Aber ich fand es spitze, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, was für den kleinen Hunger zu bestellen (super für Magenoperierte). Die normale Portion ist mehr als reichlich. Zwei Schnitzel bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und fix. Haben kurzfristig einen Tisch bekommen. Vielen Dank, dass es noch geklappt hat. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend.
