Were invited here for a funeral. The restaurateurs did it very lovingly. Coffee ☕️ and cake 🎂 were also very tasty 😋.

This is a restaurant in a slightly higher price range, so this review is based on higher standards. We sat outside, luckily on chairs, as there are no cushions, making the benches very uncomfortable. I found the selection of dishes to be appropriate and fitting; we opted for the pork fillet baked with hollandaise sauce and the linguini with chicken. There's nothing wrong with the taste of either dish; it was very tasty. Unfortunately, the side dish for the pork fillet was very small, so it wasn't enough to fill you up. I find that a shame given the price, as a few more croquettes certainly wouldn't hurt the restaurant's budget too much. For dessert, we had the Eis Traum (ice cream dream), a chocolate ice cream with a vanilla center. Unfortunately, because it was much more chocolate than vanilla, you couldn't taste any vanilla. A real shame. The staff was very friendly, and the drinks, as well as the food, arrived quickly. So, to summarize: Delicious food in a lovely restaurant (as long as you don't sit on the benches), but for the price, I expect more. Addendum (based on the restaurant owner's response): Regarding the prices: a quick glance at the menus of the many nearby restaurants refutes your statement. It's not that it's "too expensive," but rather that you should expect "more" for the money. Regarding the cushions: The fact that, according to you, no guests complain shows that you're not listening to them. The tables in question did complain about the comfort. Regarding the amount of side dishes: Looking at the photo of the plate I posted, does it give you the impression that it's a filling plate? Given the small amount, that has absolutely nothing to do with individual needs. Following that: I think it's a shame when people try to talk their way out of such, certainly not unfounded, criticism. Saying thank you and thinking about it would have been a better option; then we would certainly have come back and updated the review afterwards. Unfortunately, not only this review, but also other recent, non-5-star reviews contain passive-aggressive responses to the reviewers. Please be assured that no one with a particularly negative attitude or intent on harming you writes such text-based reviews. Things like "then next time I'll personally bring you the beer in 2 minutes" aren't exactly critical. It's a shame, actually. I'm downgrading it to 2 stars for that reason.
