Biergarten Am Rathaus in Schneverdingen

Our group really enjoyed it, the food was very tasty.

We had two wonderful tarte flambées, served quickly and with friendly service. Since we're still in town for a while, we'll definitely be back, even though there are other interesting restaurants. The restaurant has a rustic decor; I think we're the only out-of-towners here at the end of September... 🍺👌 Addendum: We've been here twice more and were lucky enough to visit the beer garden. The schnitzel, Leberkäse, and Spätzle were also excellent! 👍❤️

Great atmosphere with Shotgun Band live (search on YouTube, search term: "Shotgun Schneverdingen"). I actually didn't eat, so only 3*. I'll definitely go back!

Good schnitzel, very friendly staff. There was live music which was enjoyable, not too loud and they just played a few songs, so it wasn't too long.

It's not really smart, or even polite, to call a guest a bird who politely asks whether table service instead of self-service might be better. Unnecessary and completely wrong. Mediocre food. The boss has an aggressive look, a confrontational attitude, and absolutely no manners. And when he sees you're pissed off because of him while paying, he doesn't even have the guts to apologize.

Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience there. First of all, that day, or maybe it's always self-service. Not a problem per se, but queuing for 45 minutes for a beer isn't that nice, and even the owner being very friendly doesn't help much. Then to the food. The wrong food was served: the baguette and spaetzle were completely greasy. How that happens, I don't really understand. At least the beer was tasty and it was quite pleasant to sit and eat. Maybe we just caught a bad day; I don't know, of course.

Live music. Sit comfortably in the garden with a beer.

Food 1+ price performance is right. Service is like in any other beer garden. You get your own drinks and food is brought to you. Ambiance, it's rustic. All in all, a cozy place that you can also visit with children.

This is a really nice beer garden. You can sit outside under the large trees and there are also several umbrellas. Inside you sit comfortably in a wooden house. It's very clean. You have to order the food inside and it will be delivered to your table. You can pay by card, which is great. We ordered meat loaf, fried potatoes with vegetables and gratinated feta cheese. All three dishes were tasty and attractively served. We really liked it!

We were here for the first time today. The waiting time for the food is okay, the food was super tasty. The eye also enjoyed eating because the food was excellently prepared. You have to admit that it doesn't seem like that at all given the atmosphere, but we were convinced and will come back. Many thanks and praise to the team.

Great beer garden, delicious food and draft beer... What could be better?? Update 2023 There is now an expansion of covered and weather-protected places. It turned out really great. Today (11.2.23) it was really awesome. Bayern fans and fans of other clubs (like Dortmund and Bremen) sit together and watch football together. One side of the room is conference and on the other side is Bavaria. Without stress. THIS IS JUST AWESOME... It's only available here. Please keep it up 👍👍👍👍

The service is very nice and the atmosphere is also rustic. On hot days you can spend a lot of time in the garden, it's cozy.

The location in Schneverdingen. Furnished clockwise. You sit mostly in the open air. Like in a beer garden. Peter is a top host and the kitchen, you can hardly believe it, can easily keep up with the other restaurants in terms of taste and is always freshly prepared. Good selection of drinks and food at moderate prices.

no star would be right, They are not able to make a double currywurst 3 times. 2x large portions of fries didn't work either. Then they complained about me as a customer and blamed me in various ways because my order was so heavy and I supposedly messed everything up. Unfriendly behavior is the wrong expression here... Cashing wasn't possible either. At first I was supposed to receive €25.70, then after my relationship I was supposed to receive well over €50. Ratings and reviews are of no interest to the innkeeper.

Been there for the first time. From the outside it looks very small and inconspicuous. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be there again. Especially since there aren't that many options in our beautiful place anymore. Until then, all the best

Quaint pub like it used to be a matter of course☺️we were passing through, were hungry and ended up there by chance. It was well attended and you immediately started talking to the other guests. Beer and food delicious - prices as they should be. We would go again!

Rarely have I had such a good Jägerschnitzel. Kudos to the kitchen. Peter is a really nice host and likes to pin you against the wall while playing table football. Keep it up 👍

Kann man im Sommer ganz gut unter den Bäumen sitzen. Essen ist okay. Getränke gut. Hin und wieder finden Live-Veranstaltungen statt. Das gefällt mir sehr gut.Mitten in der Stadt gelegen und auch viele Parkplätze vorhanden.

Bei Peter bin ich immer wieder gerne...

Sehr netter Biergarten. Essen und Getränke muss man sich selber hohlen aber wirklich ein schöner Biergarten zum verweilen. Gegessen haben wir nicht.

Das ist der perfekte Ort zum Abend ausklingen lassen. Leckeres Bier, gute und günstige Cocktails und vor allem die Currywurst ist der Hammer! Wenn man Glück hat läuft LIVE Musik.

Du suchst nach einem Ort zum rundum wohlfühlen? Du hast ihn gefunden! Zu wunderbarem Hofbräu-Bier kann man hier unter den ggf. schattenspendenden Bäumen die Alltagsbefindlichkeiten (zumindest) beiseite legen. Und selbst wer dem bayerischen Bier nichts abgewinnen kann, kommt in Form norddeutschen Bieres, Weins, Cocktails und alkoholfreier Getränke auf seine Kosten. Die Speisekarte ist im guten Sinne des Wortes überschaubar und bürgt auf diese Weise für preiswürdige Qualität. Ja, und Peter, der Biergartenwirt ist für Einheimische wie Touristen genau der richtige, sehr freundliche Ansprechpartner. Der Biergarten am Rathaus ist für Entspannungssucher jeglicher Herkunft ein gefährliches Pflaster mit Suchtpotenzial.

Super, so wie ein Biergarten sein sollte ! Sehr leckere Speisen und wirklich große Portionen. Hier geht keiner halb verhungert nach Hause. Richtig lockeres Team, mit netten Sprüchen auf der Zunge - so sollte es sein! Gepflegtes Ambiente. Hier fühlt man sich rundum wohl.

Nette Location, viel Auswagl an Getränken und auch eine kl. Menükarte gibt es. Vor allem zum Fußball gucken super, weil es einen sehr großen Bildschirm gibt. Außerdem praktisch gleich der Parkplatz nebenan.

Auch wenn man sich die Getränke an der Theke selbst abholen muss, ist es eine tolle Lokalität. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und die Portionen sind ausreichend. Preis Leistung passt
