We celebrated our wedding with 25 people at Le Plaisant and were completely thrilled! The menu was first class - every single dish was excellently prepared and the taste was an absolute highlight. The service was also top: attentive, friendly and always professional. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted for this special day - stylish, warm and inviting. Our guests were also thrilled and we will always have fond memories of this day thanks to the excellent work of the Le Plaisant team. Thank you for the perfect accompaniment to our most beautiful day!

Everything just fits here! The food is extremely tasty and the wine pairing is perfect. And the highlight is that you can also feel comfortable here! It's not as austere as you'd expect for a place with food of this standard. The two ladies in service are so warm, you even laugh together! You have the perfect feeling when it should be the next course. We are really looking forward to our next visit!

The bistro has existed since 2016 in the heart of Haidhausen's French Quarter and is simply and brightly furnished, but charmingly appropriate. The relaxed patron of the house always carries out his duties in a friendly manner and with love for his job - which can of course also be seen in the menu and wine list (primarily French and Spanish wines). If you don't want to jump into the 5-course menu including wine accompaniment (€92), we recommend a few special delicacies: the au gratin scallops and prawns in a bed of leeks as well as the fine swordfish medallions are highly recommended! Experience has shown that it is always worth asking about the daily aquatic catch. The various desserts, on the other hand, are not my cup of tea, with the exception of the chocolate cake with its liquid core. In terms of costs, everything is presented at a fairly fair level and there is nothing to complain about in terms of the boyish, casual service. À la prochaine fois! 🍷🦐🌺

Update: We were here for the second time - and it was another wonderful evening. Continuing confident, absolutely friendly and informal service - this also rubs off on the mood in the restaurant; you can also feel the happy atmosphere among the other guests. The menu changes and we were surprised again by every new dish. Each aroma is crystal clear and highly intense. Again, every bite of a dish was a new, multi-layered experience. Praise also goes to the non-alcoholic liquid accompaniment - we were more familiar with (high-quality) juices from other restaurants, but here too a lot of love and art went into it, which rounded off the dish wonderfully. Very friendly restaurant with really excellent dishes. We felt completely comfortable, the service was super approachable and professional and the atmosphere was as if we were staying with friends. It wasn't our first trip to the Michelin-starred kitchen, but it was a family highlight. Also worthy of mention is the sommelier, who prepared a courageous wine pairing that went perfectly with the dishes.

1. Unfortunately, I missed the moment when foie gras began to cost like black caviar. At the same time, the portion was reduced by half. 2. It was difficult to book a table, although we were sitting in a half-empty place. 3. I can’t say that it was amazingly tasty, the prices are above average. The check for dinner for two with a bottle of wine was €200+. 4. The atmosphere is not French, the service is without interest in the client. 5. Well, the “cherry on the cake” was food poisoning.

Nice little, almost family-run restaurant with courteous service. A cozy atmosphere completes the good overall impression. In addition to the menu, there is also a daily menu with a good selection of dishes. The portions are well sized and nicely presented. Definitely tasty and of a good standard.

At Marais Soir I ask myself whether I am being too critical or whether the kitchen was simply having a bad day. So I cannot agree with the other reviews: The food was average for the high prices, the service was attentive, the interior OK. I have expectations for the prices: starters around EUR 20, intermediate courses around EUR 25, main courses around EUR 40. On the wine list, the bottle prices quickly climb to over EUR 60 and significantly more after just a few entries under EUR 60. The dishes on the plates are quite nice to look at, but structurally the dishes are not convincing: several times at the table there is a starter of octopus on hummus with nduja espuma, with brunoise of apple, pickled cucumber and capers in between - it feels like leftovers after an evening of tapas. The dish also comes to the table extremely cold - everything is almost uncomfortably below room temperature. The hummus is not really creamy, much more espuma dominates. The starter for my table neighbor on the right is a stew of country cooking standard: very tasty and warming, but not really suitable for the evening menu in direct contrast to the other dishes. My main course: monkfish in saffron sauce, with potatoes and zucchini vegetables as a side dish. Fish is expensive - I'm not upset that the meat portion is manageable. The side dishes, however, are manageable, bordering on garnish: in total, only three quarters of a small potato (equivalent to three French fries) and some zucchini. You go out to eat and stay hungry. No one at the table was interested in dessert. The dessert menu had the usual suspects: chocolate fondant and a crème brûlée, among others. I wonder again where the chefs have the courage to offer desserts that also arouse curiosity. Yes, yes: chocolate cake and a pudding, cheese and a sorbet/ice cream. Regarding the service: Here and there there were small misunderstandings, which were resolved in a confident and friendly manner. However, the interest in us was rather low. Other (regular) guests were obviously more interesting (and possibly more generous). Good service? More likely yes. Good hosts? More likely no. Regarding the ambience: A little too bright, a little too cold, the plastic chairs in the back were cool and uncomfortable, the quality of the water and wine glasses was not at the level I would expect for the price of the liquids in them. Conclusion: Price/performance unsatisfactory. Otherwise, as is often the case in Bavaria: It's OK.

With a friend we had dinner in this elegant and welcoming restaurant. We opted for the Menu, and it was an excellent choice, each course was taken care of down to the smallest detail, the adequate service is a note of merit to the chef who came out of the kitchen to personally explain some dishes to us Very interesting selection of wines including Portuguese wine What can I say? Wow!

The hotel is beautiful - a perfect mix of historical elegance and modern luxury. The rooms were stylishly furnished and very clean! We felt completely at home as a family and will definitely come back. The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is highly recommended - a real 5-star experience! A special thank you goes to the hotel manager Umut, who made our stay unforgettable with his warm and professional manner. He really fulfilled all our wishes and made us feel very special. You rarely experience such outstanding service

Always good - I can only recommend it. The food is very good and the daily menu is varied. The French classics are perfect - the bouillabaisse, for example, was even better this time than usual, which is actually impossible. The sorbets between courses are a dream to fall to your knees for and good wines at reasonable prices. The service is perfect - courteous and not pushy. The service also knows what they are serving and how it is prepared - just the way you want it. For me, "the Frenchman" in Munich. Always happy to come back. Until next time - Salut

Unfortunately our visit to La Bouche was a huge disappointment. Since the ambience and menu really appealed to us and we are often out and about in the district, we were hoping to find a new culinary destination. Unfortunately no. Overall, the food was mixed: oysters were poorly opened with small pieces of shell that kept ending up in your mouth. Tartare was good quality, but hardly seasoned. Coq au vin the worst we have ever eaten. The meat was soft, but overcooked and shattered in the sauce, which unfortunately was a complete disappointment in terms of taste. The potato gratin served with it was good. The main problem of the evening, however, was the extremely long waiting times and the friendly but completely unprofessional and inattentive service. You could see the effort, but unfortunately the result was really bad. Several tables asked about their food, followed the service to order something, or went to the bar to pay in frustration because no one came to the table. We ourselves sat for half an hour in front of an unopened bottle of wine, received the main course about an hour after the starter had been eaten and then came the crowning conclusion: when the main course was being cleared away, a freshly poured glass of wine was broken and the table was flooded and there were broken pieces everywhere. It can happen, not that bad, the service apologized several times for it. Then at first - nothing happened. We picked up the pieces ourselves and at some point the service came back and clumsily placed a napkin on the floating table. As an apology we were promised dessert. After another 20 minutes we were asked what we would like. We ordered Tarte Tatin and Mousse au Chocolat. After another 30 minutes without dessert we decided to leave and went to the bar to pay - service wasn't near our table once during this time. When paying, we were irritated and asked what was wrong with our dessert. We said we didn't want it anymore 3 hours after arriving at the restaurant, at which point it was cancelled. Then the finale: the owner of the restaurant shouted from the kitchen why the desserts had been canceled. Response service: took too long. Patty answer from the kitchen: Yes, the tart has to be baked first. No further apologies. Summary: the worst invested €130 in 2024. What a shame!
