We went for the first week December for a 5 course menu with corresponding wine. Delicious! A wonderful, very fine tasting evening with a marvelous menu. Mr. Zhe was doing the serving by telling us the ingredients to each dish. Excellent. Highly recommendable. And we will come again.

Small, charming, upscale restaurant in Munich's Lehel. In the evenings, 3-5 course menus are offered, with free choice of a manageable number of dishes. The execution and presentation on the plate often comes close to top-class cuisine in the star category. What should be emphasized is that the chef manages to generate fantastic flavor chords with his creations, in which the components can still be clearly identified. At the same time, the dishes do not seem under-seasoned, as is sometimes the case in modern cuisine. Prices have risen sharply in recent years, so Louis Cuisine is no longer an insider tip in terms of price-performance, but still highly recommended. Tip for the summer: reserve one of the two tables outside and watch the people strolling around.

Simply divine. Every course is an experience. Lovely casual ambience.

1. Unfortunately, I missed the moment when foie gras began to cost like black caviar. At the same time, the portion was reduced by half. 2. It was difficult to book a table, although we were sitting in a half-empty place. 3. I can’t say that it was amazingly tasty, the prices are above average. The check for dinner for two with a bottle of wine was €200+. 4. The atmosphere is not French, the service is without interest in the client. 5. Well, the “cherry on the cake” was food poisoning.

Cleanest hotel in Germany we stayed in and no air conditioning issues when temperature was above 85 degrees. The location is conveniently located next to central station that connects to other European cities. Our room is nice and modern. The window has a view to the atrium. Bathroom is a bit awkward with a divider that can open to the room but not an issue for us. The hotel having a Spa was a nice touch overall. Steam and suana rooms are co-ed including the showering area, but I think that is how most hotel spas operate in Germany or Europe. The suana room is small but appear to be clean for the most part. There was a half naked male lurking around multiple times during my use but whatever. Unfortunately, the steamed room has an odor like urine so I left after less than 5 seconds. Gross. I booked a massage and the music was supplied through my masseuse's phone lol. It was all fine until the youtube commercial ads popup a couple of times during the relaxation moments. The massage was good, not the best not the worst. Just was a bit weird with the music from a mobile phone and the ads. Breakfast is Ok. I would dodge unless opting for the sake of pure convenience. Handfull of juice options and an espresso machine for making various coffee drinks. A bit pricey for the quality and amount of selections offered. Bakery items get arranged by staffs with their bare hands, another German/European thing I guess.

Unfortunately our visit to La Bouche was a huge disappointment. Since the ambience and menu really appealed to us and we are often out and about in the district, we were hoping to find a new culinary destination. Unfortunately no. Overall, the food was mixed: oysters were poorly opened with small pieces of shell that kept ending up in your mouth. Tartare was good quality, but hardly seasoned. Coq au vin the worst we have ever eaten. The meat was soft, but overcooked and shattered in the sauce, which unfortunately was a complete disappointment in terms of taste. The potato gratin served with it was good. The main problem of the evening, however, was the extremely long waiting times and the friendly but completely unprofessional and inattentive service. You could see the effort, but unfortunately the result was really bad. Several tables asked about their food, followed the service to order something, or went to the bar to pay in frustration because no one came to the table. We ourselves sat for half an hour in front of an unopened bottle of wine, received the main course about an hour after the starter had been eaten and then came the crowning conclusion: when the main course was being cleared away, a freshly poured glass of wine was broken and the table was flooded and there were broken pieces everywhere. It can happen, not that bad, the service apologized several times for it. Then at first - nothing happened. We picked up the pieces ourselves and at some point the service came back and clumsily placed a napkin on the floating table. As an apology we were promised dessert. After another 20 minutes we were asked what we would like. We ordered Tarte Tatin and Mousse au Chocolat. After another 30 minutes without dessert we decided to leave and went to the bar to pay - service wasn't near our table once during this time. When paying, we were irritated and asked what was wrong with our dessert. We said we didn't want it anymore 3 hours after arriving at the restaurant, at which point it was cancelled. Then the finale: the owner of the restaurant shouted from the kitchen why the desserts had been canceled. Response service: took too long. Patty answer from the kitchen: Yes, the tart has to be baked first. No further apologies. Summary: the worst invested €130 in 2024. What a shame!
