Das reizende französisch-mediterrane Crossover-Restaurant bietet ja schon seit Jahren eine gleichbleibend gute Küche samt einigen neu interpretierten Klassikern. Auch beim letzten Besuch war von der 'Foie Gras Terrine mit Apfel & Brioche' als Vorspeise über das 'Filet vom Steinbutt mit Périgord-Trüffeln' als Hauptgang bis zum intensiven 'Fondant au choc' zum Dessert alles kompetent zubereitet - auch wenn hie und da die Serviertemperatur nicht stimmte. Die empfohlenen Weine passten zu den Speisen erstklassig; schade war allein, das der Kir Royal als Aperitif komplett abgestanden an den Tisch gebracht wurde; unser Kellner tauschte ihn aber sofort mit einem charmanten Lächeln aus. Überhaupt ist das herzliche Team der kolossale Trumpf des Restaurants. Ganz fraglos mag der eine oder andere Sommelier mehr wissen, aber diese Crew vermittelt jedem Besucher von der ersten Minute an durchgehend das wohlige Gefühl, willkommen zu sein - und das scheint mir eine rare Qualität darzustellen. Neben dem total lässigen Ambiente kommt im 'Marais Soir' also einiges an Positivem zusammen. À la vôtre! 🍾⭐️

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambientene, excllentem Essen und super Service

Essen: Hauptgang (Rehrücken) sehr gut, aber extreme Miniportion und etwas zu kalt; Vorspeise Fischsuppe etwas fad (war früher besser); Weinempfehlungen sehr gut. Service könnte freundlicher sein und der Käse ließ sehr lange auf sich warten, so dass wir doch noch ein drittes Glas tranken, war aber ok. Fazit: Preis-Leistung passt leider nicht mehr.

Es tut mir leid, so eine Bewertung abzugeben, aber ich bin wirklich enttäuscht. Zunächst hatte ich reserviert und dabei vermerkt, dass ich aufgrund einer Krankheit bestimmte Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten habe. Leider wurde dies komplett ignoriert. Als ich den Kellner um eine Erklärung bat, sagte er, er würde nachsehen – doch als die Gerichte kamen, gab es immer noch keine Erklärung. Wenn Kommentare sowieso nicht gelesen werden, wäre es besser, die Kommentarfunktion gar nicht erst zu geben. Zweitens bekam ich ungefragt eine englische Speisekarte, während mein weißer Freund eine deutsche erhielt. Ich bin Asiatin, spreche aber Deutsch. Ungeachtet der Absicht fühlte ich mich dadurch unwillkommen und ehrlich gesagt auch etwas diskriminiert. Drittens war es im Restaurant extrem laut. Ich erwähnte dies höflich, und der Kellner erklärte mir den Grund – eine Abschiedsfeier usw. –, aber das half nicht wirklich. Mir wurde nur klar, dass ich die Atmosphäre falsch eingeschätzt hatte und dass dies kein Ort ist, an dem man eine ruhigere Umgebung erwarten kann. Insgesamt erinnere ich mich kaum noch an das Essen – nicht nur, weil ich keine Erklärung dazu bekam, sondern auch, weil das Gesamterlebnis alles andere in den Schatten stellte.

Uns wurde ein sehr geiles Krustentiermenü kredenzt. Danke dafür! Service wie immer herausragend! Das einzige was man verbessern könnte, ist die Akustik in unserem Raum. Schon beim letzten Mal aufgefallen, dass der Raum sehr stark Schall reflektiert und der Geräuschpegel damit sehr hoch ist

We had a wonderful evening at Marais Soir. The ambiance and lighting were very stylish yet cozy. The menu selection was very harmonious, and the wine pairings were well-matched. Even small requests for changes to the menu were accommodated. All in all, it was a great success, and we definitely want to go again! :)

Me encontré con amigos afuera que estaban cenando - me uní y tomé una copa de vino y un poco de desierto. El buen ambiente gastronómico era muy agradable, la comida era buena y el servicio era encantador.

Wir haben ausgezeichnet gegessen, ein tolles Restauranterlebnis, dass ich schon lange nicht mehr so hatte. Zwei Vorspeisen mit Fisch waren geschmacklich wirklich sehr fein komponiert und eine echte Geschmacksexplosion. Als Hauptgericht bestand genug Flexibilität, um etwas anderes auszuwählen, so dass ich ein Zwischengericht genommen habe. Die Nachspeise ist vielleicht ein wenig abgefallen, vielleicht hab ich das Duett von der Schokolade auch nicht richtig verstanden. Auch der Wein war sehr fein, ich war eingeladen aber ich glaube es war eher einer der günstigeren. Ich war seit längerem mal wieder im Marais Soir und war sehr positiv überrascht.

The food was fantastic all around. Lovingly prepared, everything was delicious, fresh, and tasted absolutely wonderful. It was excellent value for money. Added to that was the really friendly and attentive service and a great wine recommendation. The street seating is perfectly fine in the summer, and the setting was beautifully set. All in all... we were all very impressed. We'd like to thank all the good people who made this possible, and we're already looking forward to the next time :))))

Excellent food and a very well-selected wine selection to go with it. It's a shame that the service paid more attention to guests who complained about the texture of the asparagus or the tendons in the meat. These guests were unfortunately given preferential treatment, received a free special course, and were offered several wine tastings. In my opinion, every guest should be treated equally here. Otherwise, a top-notch restaurant.

A great restaurant if you want something special. Not cheap, but worth the price.

The name attracted me and I visited to honour my Marais-Rousseau family roots (French Hugeunot from South Africa) Exceptional food and resonably priced for what is offered. A non-descript exterior and even more non-descript location. Attentive service rounded off a great evening. Well worth a visit.

We visit the Marais Soir again and again, sometimes we order the menu, sometimes à la carte. Fortunately, the level has remained consistently high over the years. Finally, fois gras, fried octopus, turbot and Duroc pork made us completely happy. Gladly again 😎

At the Marais Soir, I wonder if I'm being too critical or if the kitchen is just having a bad day. So I can't follow the rest of the reviews: The food was average for high prices, the service was attentive, the interior was ok. When it comes to prices, I have expectations: starters around EUR 20, intermediate courses around EUR 25, main courses around 40. In the wine list, after just a few entries, the bottle prices quickly climb below EUR 60 to above and significantly more. The dishes on the plates are pretty to look at, but structurally the dishes are not convincing: several times at the table there was a starter of octopus on hummus with Nduja espuma, in between brunoise of apple, pickle and capers - what felt like leftovers after a tapas evening. The dish also arrives at the table extremely cold – everything is almost uncomfortably below room temperature. The hummus isn't really creamy, much more dominant espuma. The intermediate course from my table neighbor on the right is a country-style stew: quite tasty and warming, but not something for the evening menu in direct contrast to the other dishes. My main course: monkfish in saffron sauce, with potatoes and zucchini vegetables as a side dish. Fish is expensive - I'm not mad that the meat portion is manageable. However, the side dishes are manageable, bordering on garnish: in total, only three quarters of a small potato (equivalent to three fries) and some zucchini. You go out to eat and stay hungry. Nobody at the table was interested in dessert. The usual suspects on the dessert menu: including chocolate fondant and a crème brûlée. I wonder once again where the chefs have the courage to offer desserts that sometimes arouse curiosity. Jaja: chocolate cake and a pudding, cheese and a sorbet/ice cream. Regarding the service: There were small misunderstandings here and there, which were resolved confidently and friendly. But interest in us was rather low. Other (regular) guests were obviously more interesting (and possibly also more generous). Good service? More like yes. Good hosts? Rather no. About the ambience: A little too bright, a little too cold, the plastic chairs in the back cool and uncomfortable, the quality of the water and wine glasses not at the level I expect for the price of the liquids in them. Conclusion: price/performance inadequate. Otherwise, as so often in Bavaria: it's fine.

Very good, upscale French cuisine with a pleasant atmosphere, nice service and good wines. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the Marais Soir.

Food was excellent, service very good, The ambience is nice (although a bit loud when it's full), the wine accompaniment is very German... subjectively speaking, unfortunately it's not our preference when it comes to wine. Unfortunately the current offer cannot be found online. All in all, a very nice evening!

Cozy, romantic restaurant with familiar, professional service and top food!

A big thank you to the whole Marais team for an unforgettable evening. We received a very warm welcome, so that we immediately felt comfortable and there was a family atmosphere. The 4-course menu with wine tasting was very special. The selected wines went very well with the individual menu courses. Every course on the menu was a culinary delight. Everything was so lovingly and attractively prepared. If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars. The waiters were very attentive and very friendly. You were given very good advice about the individual wines and the food. Intolerances (allergies) were taken into account without any problems. All in all it was a unique experience at the end of the year. The Marais-Soir is worth a trip to Munich. I would love to come back. I wish the entire Marais team a healthy and successful New Year.

Tijdens ons bezoek aan München waren we in plaats van de schnitzels en talloze Italiaans-georienteerde restaurants benieuwd naar de Franse keuken in Marais Soir. Het restaurant ligt op 15 minuten lopen van het Centraal Station. Geen bijzondere wijk, maar zodra je binnen bent waan je je in het Parijse Marais. Het restaurant was gezellig vol. We werden gastvrij ontvangen door eigenaar Florian. Heerlijke voorgerechten (foie gras, steak tartaar, pulpo), tussengerechten als risotto met kwartel die ook uitstekend als hoofdgerecht gegeten kunnen worden. uitgebreide wijnkaart, naast goede Franse wijnen ook bijzondere Duitse - zo dronken we Pinot Noir uit het Ahr-gebied - die in een blinde proeverij als een mooie Côtes de Nuits kunnen doorgaan . We sloten af met kaas en fondant van chocolade. Een aanrader!

Wir gingen enttäuscht nach Hause. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, saßen im Zug an einem kleinen Tisch und wurden von einer der Bedienungen unfreundlich behandelt. Wenn man für über 200 Euro Essen geht, dann erwarten wir etwas anderes. Wir waren vor Jahren schon einmal dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Wir saßen damals an einem anderen Platz, wurden sehr nett bedient und das Fleisch war nicht sehnig wie gestern. Vielleicht hatten wir gestern nur Pech, aber ein teures Pech!

Very nice place and good food. Also had a great service here. For the price it might not be exquisite but I think it's a nice date night place. Maybe the ambience could be a bit more classy but overall I can still recommend this spot.

After two visits to the "Marais Soir" restaurant, a short review should now be given. Anyone who eats here will get their money's worth from a culinary perspective. Where at other addresses in Munich you often encounter a rather stiff and somewhat stuffy setting, here you take a seat in a tastefully furnished restaurant that impresses with its warm and open, yet casual atmosphere. Only the tables are sometimes a bit close together. If you take a seat in the front part of the guest room ("New York"), you even have a beautiful view of the moon thanks to the beautiful interior and wall design... At the same time, the demands on service and overall quality are high. They are very attentive, happy to advise and explain, which is why a wine pairing with a menu is extremely worthwhile. It's nice that the team also likes to joke or laugh, which shows a good atmosphere. What is served on the plates is creative, innovative and combines flavors that you have not yet experienced in this composition but enjoy. This is gastronomy at a high level, without going too far when it comes to design, creativity or innovation. Gems of this kind should be supported. In any case, I'm already looking forward to the next visit 😉

The Marais Soir is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a French feel. The food was consistently excellent. The service was casual and competent. Unfortunately, on warm days it is very hot in the restaurant and there is no sufficient ventilation/cooling. This only happens if it rained shortly before the restaurant opened and the tables outside could not be set up.

A really pleasantly relaxed "Frenchman" with friendly and competent staff. We recommend the fairly priced 3 to 4-course menus, for example with salmon and char ceviche, monkfish on a Mediterranean ragout and two types of duck in a highly concentrated jus. In the summer, you can sit very relaxed in the enlarged outdoor area; inside, the distances between the tables should be a little larger. Overall, a very successful evening - we'll always be happy to come back.

A mediocre and overpriced gastro kitchen. There's really no question of fine French cuisine. The only bright spot: the entrecôtes were fried to perfection. Poor ventilation in the kitchen, seating uncomfortable, the waiter overwhelmed and constantly somewhere else. Not recommended.

Sigh, where to start. This place is just magic. The staff here are like family, most have been working in the service industry for more than a decade. They know food, they know service. We ate here after work during our trip to Munich on multiple occasions. The food was simple, classic, incredibly delicious and unpretentious. Service times were quick but not hurried. We felt at ease during dinner despite the restaurant being packed with guests. The servers were busy but not dismissive. They were super friendly and suggested great dishes each time we visited. On one of the nights we ate here one of our party had a birthday and the staff made a special birthday dessert for her that we all shared. It was delicious. The Executive Chef at this restaurant is Italian so he’s grown up with food being an important part of his life and career. He started with French food early on in his career and stuck with it. But his service style is so friendly and honest. I so enjoyed this little spot. The decor was homely and comfortable. The bathrooms were quaint and European (small and cute). Everything about this place on the corner in a quiet neighborhood was perfection. I highly recommend having a meal here at least twice during your stay in Munich and if you live in Munich, you should be visiting once a week!

Das Marais Soir ist ein sehr gemütliches und dennoch feineres Restaurant im Westend. Vor allem gefallen hat uns zuletzt die nette und fachkundige Bedienung, die uns auch bei Naturweinen beraten konnte. Der Orange Wein war wirklich fantastisch. Das Essen ist meist sehr gut, manche Sachen auch wirklich ausgefallen und besonders. Andere Sachen, wie zum Beispiel die Käseplatte sind eher durchschnittlich und das Crêpe Suzette war zuletzt nicht gut. Die Karte (gerade die vegetarischen Gerichte) wechselt in meinen Augen eher selten und so isst man schon mal etwas ähnliches, wenn man öfter als 1 mal pro Jahr hin geht. Das meiste aber wie gesagt top! Ich gehe immer wieder gern hier hin.

Food is always very tasty, but sloppy in dealing with reservations. We showed up at the confirmed and reserved time, only to be told that unfortunately something had gone wrong and there was no table available.

A small, nice restaurant on Theresienhöhe. We had the 4 course menu with very different quality. The starter was very well coordinated, but the intermediate course tasted poor. The main course was brilliant again, but the dessert wasn't anywhere near the same level. The common thread in the menu was also not recognizable. Very good wines for that. Our conclusion: Good but for the price we had better overall impressions.

Price-performance is great, the waiter was great and the food was A1. We had a wonderful evening! Our highlights were the desserts. Despite the menu, we tried everything again - it was worth it.

Wirklich toll! Mein Tartar war hervorragend abgeschmeckt, das Trüffelrisotto hatte genau die richtige Balance zwischen Trüffel und Reis und auch der Wein wurde passend empfohlenen. Meine Mitgäste waren ebenfalls sehr begeistert. Der Service ist eine erfrischende Mischung zwischen hochprofessionell und doch sehr cool und leger. Einzig die Stühle fanden wir etwas wackelig und unbequem. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung!

Das Restaurant ist stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Der Service ist äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen und das Menü ohne Probleme angepasst. Das Essen war wirklich gut und von der Qualität dem Preis definitiv mehr als angemessen. Vor allem das Pfifferlingrisotto hat uns begeistert! Wir kommen gern wieder und können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Waren gestern dort. Essen war der Hammer. Super lecker. Angemessene Portion für den Preis. Super Service der ser aufmerksam war. Das einzige was ich zu meckern habe ist, dass die Bestuhlung sehr, sehr eng gestellt ist draußen. Ansonsten kann ich den Laden nur empfehlen.

Kleines unscheinbare Lokal in der Schwanthalerstraße 131. Die Gegend rundherum schien uns (Touristen) eher zu einem "Brennpunkt" zu gehören, können es aber nicht neutral beurteilen, da wir im Taxi hingefahren wurden. Das Lokal selbst wurde uns von einem namhaften Koch in Basel (CH) empfohlen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, es ist ein echtes Bijou mit netter Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich, mit etwas trockenem Humor :) aber absolut kompetent. Die Gerichte auf der Karte waren einladend und mit interessanten Kombinationen. Unvergessen bleiben mir persönlich das Beefsteak Tatar mit kleinen Pfifferlingen und das butterweiche Entrecôte. Mit den, mit Brennnesseln und Käse gefüllten, Tortelli und dem Foie Gras, wurden es am Schluss vier Gänge. Meine Freunde hatten sich für Austern, Taube, Oktopus und andere Menüs entschieden. Alles in allem feinste französische Küche. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schönes Restaurant, wirkt bereits von draußen. Nett empfangen worden und zum Tisch gekommen. Die Auswahl zwischen a la carte und Menü fiel uns schwer - beides sehr verlockend. Wir entschieden uns in 3 Gängen vom a la carte Menü zu essen, alles absolut hervorragend 😊 Zwar gibt es vielleicht mehr Kreativität in vergleichbaren Restaurants, die klassischen Gerichte nach französischer Art haben uns allerdings in ihrer Ausführung absolut begeistert. Die nach Rebsorten strukturierte Weinkarte liefert eine schöne Bandbreite für jeden der sich damit befassen möchte, und der Wein kommt auch hervorragend vom Service präsentiert am Tisch an. Mehr vom Team: Sehr aufmerksam, nie aufdringlich - Profis. Einziges Manko, wahrscheinlich geschuldet der kleinen Küche, waren die Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen. Wir möchten uns beim Team nochmals bedanken und freuen uns auf das nächste Mal!

Hatte das 3 Gänge Menü, welches ganz ausgezeichnetet geschmeckt hat. Weinbegleitung war sehr stimmig. Service super, drinnen super schön eingerichtet, Aussenbereich ist auch sehr nett.

Sehr schöner Abend, vielen Dank dafür. Preis-Leistung top! Wir hatten zweimal das 4 Gänge Menü mit Weinbegleitung und jeder noch einen zusätzlichen Gang eingebaut, einmal Oktopus und einmal Taube, beide ebenso wie die Gänge aus dem Menü hervorragend. Die Weine haben sehr gut gepasst, auf Sonderwünsche wurde problemlos eingegangen. Service top. Wir waren nicht das letzte mal hier essen!

Wir haben unseren Hochzeitstag um Marais Soir gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, man hatte immer ein Auge auf uns ohne das es "too much" gewesen wäre. Wir hatten uns gegen das 3 bzw. 4 Gänge Menü entschieden und à la carte bestellt. Als Vorspeise hatten wir den gebratenen Oktopus und den Ziegenkäse. Hauptgang jeweils das Entrecote. Nachspeise: Fondant au Chocolat. In unseren Augen top komponierte Geschmacksrichtungen! Preis eher im oberen Bereich im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz in München aber dafür auch sehr gute Qualität! Das einzig negative ist die teilweise enge Bestuhlung. Wir waren an einem Montag weshalb es etwas ruhiger war aber zu Stoßzeiten ist es etwas eng. Wir kommen wieder!

das Essen war sehr lecker, ist gehobene Küche, aber in einem entspannten Ambiente. Man muss nicht übertrieben schick kommen und kann einfach nur das essen genießen. Selbst ich als jemand, der sehr selten Fleisch ist, war von meiner Rindfleisch-Hauptspeise, ich kann mich nur leider nicht mehr an den Namen erinnern, begeistert :( die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich. Im Sommer kann man toll draußen sitzen.

Tolle Küche, sehr gute Produkte, sympathischer Service, schöne Location. Ein Abend im Marais Soir ist ein Selbstläufer. Egal ob man sich für das Tagesmenü entscheidet, oder à la carte bestellt: Diese Gerichte machen Spaß und man ist herzlich willkommen .

Fantastisches, liebevoll angerichtetes Essen und tolle Weinempfehlungen in angenehm lockerer und hochwertiger Atmosphäre mit tollem Service. Die Karte bietet die Qual der Wahl zwischen Menü und Gerichten à la carte. Für Vegetarier gibt es auch eine schöne Auswahl, teils als Variationen der nicht-vegetarischen Gerichte - hier wird sich viel Mühe gegeben. Auch die Desserts waren klasse. Besondere Highlights: Foie Gras (herausragend gut, handwerklich ja nicht einfach), Artischockenrisotto, Spargelravioli

Essen und Stimmung top! Ich war zum 3. Mal dort und bin jedes Mal erneut von der lockeren Atmosphäre und dem grandiosen Essen erfreut. Es hat französischen Flair und ist nicht so verstockt wie manch andere Spitzengastronomie, so dass wir wieder mal eine Weinflasche mehr hatten als nötig. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Für meinen Geburtstag suchte ich ein einzigartiges und unvergleichliches Restaurant in München. Nach einer ausführlichen Recherche bin ich auf das Marais Soir gestoßen, sodass ich einen Tisch für Zwei reserviert habe. Wir sind mit hohen Erwartungen in das Restaurant gegangen - und was soll ich sagen: Das Ambiente ist sehr stilvoll, die Kellner sehr zuvorkommend und absolute Fachleute. Wir mussten nicht lange überlegen und haben uns für das 4-Gänge-Menü entschieden. Sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich waren die einzelne Gänge absolute Spitzenklasse und eine Geschmacksexplosion im Mund. Wir sind auch Wochen danach noch absolut geflasht und erinnern uns gerne an den Abend zurück. Ganz klare Empfehlung!!
