Das war unvergessliches Abendessen! 10/10, 100/100! Danke!

Sehr netter Sevive und tolles Essen. Sieht man dem Restaurant von außen nicht an.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Restaurant Gabelspiel. Das Team ist unglaublich herzlich und schafft eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sehr wohl und willkommen fühlt. Das Essen war vorzüglich: tolle, vielfältige und inspirierte Gänge, nicht zu große Gerichte (was bei einem langen Menü essentiell ist), sondern genau die Menge, dass man das Menü genießen kann, ohne sich danach "überfressen" zu fühlen. Der einzige Verbesserungsvorschlag ist die Akustik des Raums: obwohl es nicht viele Tische gibt, ist es sehr laut und hallt, vielleicht könnte man mit Teppichen, Wandbelägen o.ä. Abhilfe schaffen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kulinarisch spielt das Gabelspiel in der obersten Liga. Das haben wir auch bei unserem zweiten Besuch wieder begeistert festgestellt. Nur dieses Mal hat uns der für dieses hohe Fine-Dining Niveau grottenschlechte Service den Abend vermiest. Wir wollten, wie wir es auch sonst gerne tun, die Weinbegleitung teilen. Nicht aus Kostengründen. Sondern 7 Gänge à 100ml Wein pro Person ist uns einfach zu viel. Also haben wir freundlich gefragt, ob eine geteilte Weinbegleitung möglich sei. Was uns auch zugesagt wurde. Was uns nicht gesagt wurde: Es wurde uns für jeden Weingang immer nur ein und nicht zwei Gläser hingestellt. Beim ersten Gang haben wir höflich um ein zweites Glas gebeten, was mit einem verächtlichen Schnauben und einem „Nein, sowas geht nicht!“ quittiert wurde, aber sie könne ja trotzdem die Sommelière fragen. Als diese dann mit dem zweiten Wein kam, hat sie kommentarlos wieder nur ein Glas für uns beide hingestellt. Erneut haben wir freundlich das Thema angesprochen und es kam auch hier ein scharfes: Das haben wir noch nie gemacht und werden wir auch nicht! Die scheinbar nur aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit, die sie uns gegenüber vorher zeigte, war weg (kurzer Einschub: Eine Rezension beschreibt ihre Vorstellung der Weine als gelangweilt und abgespult. Das können wir bestätigen!). Unser dritter und letzter Versuch bei der Chefin nach einem zweiten Glas für die Weinbegleitung zu fragen, wurde deutlich empathischer und netter beantwortet. Trotzdem blieb das Gabelspiel bei nein. Es würde bei einer Weinbegleitung mit zwei Gläsern doppelte Arbeit anfallen beim Gläserpolieren. Aha. Es wurde noch nicht mal angeboten, dass wir zumindest ein „permanentes“ Glas haben könnten. Dieses Verhalten ist für Sterneniveau nicht nachvollziehbar. Im Tantris, z.B., ist das alles kein Problem. Warum es im Gabelspiel eins ist, lässt sich nicht nachvollziehen. Spannendes P.S.: Da uns das Thema auch im Nachhinein beschäftigt hat, haben wir der Geschäftsleitung eine E-Mail geschrieben und uns über die erste Servicekraft beschwert, die so abfällig reagiert hatte. Ende vom Lied: Es war die Mutter der Chefin und wir haben jetzt Hausverbot🤷‍♀️ Mit solchen Umgangsformen kann man das tollste Restaurant an die Wand fahren.

Sensationeller Abend – hier kocht ein Österreicher mit Seele! Wir waren gestern im Gabelspiel und was soll ich sagen: Wer glaubt, Sternerestaurants in München müssten steif sein, hat keine Ahnung. Hier ist es einfach nur entspannt und verdammt gut. Florian Müller ist Österreicher, und das schmeckt man einfach – diese Tiefe in den Saucen und die Liebe zum Produkt ist Wahnsinn. Absolute Highlights im Menü waren für mich überraschenderweise der Kohlrabi und der Spargel. Klingt vielleicht simpel, war aber schlichtweg sensationell zubereitet. Das Brathendl, die Aubergine und der Trüffel als Einstieg, das Duroc und die Taube waren natürlich auch handwerklich perfekt, aber das Gemüse hat diesen diesmal fast die Show gestohlen. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an das Team im Service. Sie haben uns so eine fachkundige, aber gleichzeitig herrlich lockere Weinbegleitung hingestellt - die alkoholfreie Begleitung was fast noch besser, sehr kreativ und perfekt abgestimmt, alle Fragen beantwortet – ohne jegliches Gehabe, einfach kompetent und super sympathisch. Zum Schluss gab es noch Nashi Birne mit Kombu und als Gruß aus der Heimat die Punschkrapfen. Ein rundum perfekter Abend bei Gastgebern, die ihr Handwerk wirklich lieben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ein fantastisches Abendessen! Der Service war hervorragend, sehr aufmerksam und detailverliebt. Das Essen war spektakulär, kein einziger Gang ließ zu wünschen übrig. Meine Frau hatte die alkoholfreie Weinbegleitung, die kreativ und perfekt auf das Essen abgestimmt war. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ein sehr gutes, kleines Restaurant - mit Michelin-Stern. Und genau auf der Qualität wird auch gekocht. Alle Gerichte aus dem 7-Gang Menü waren ausgezeichnet - die zusätzlichen Grüße aus der Küche ebenfalls. Die Zutaten waren von hoher Qualität, die Zusammenstellung war kreativ und die Zubereitung und Dekoration jeweils aufwändig - man kann bei jedem Gang merken, wieviel Liebe zum Detail hineingeflossen ist und wieviel Mühe notwendig gewesen sein muss, um die Kombinationen der verschiedenen Geschmacksnuancen und Texturen perfekt aufeinander abzustimmen. Die Darreichung - auf Geschirr, Brettern, Schalen oder auch Steinen - war abwechslungsreich und wirkte immer edel. Die Weingläser - Zalto - waren passend für den Wein ausgewählt und wunderbar poliert. Stichwort Wein: die Weinkarte ist nicht groß aber doch abwechslungsreich genug, um für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Die Preiskalkulation dabei ist sehr fair. Darüber hinaus gibt es auch Weinbegleitungen, entweder alkoholisch oder auch nicht-alkoholisch. Der Service war ebenfalls ganz toll - jeder war auf seine eigene Art charmant, locker und trotzdem immer professionell. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Timing der einzelnen Gänge passte insgesamt auch gut, insgesamt waren wir etwa 4,5 - 5 Stunden im Lokal - es ist aber niemals Langeweile aufgekommen. Besonders möchte ich hier erwähnen, wie mit Spezialwünschen umgegangen wird. Bei der Reservierung konnte ich angeben, ob es Unverträglichkeiten oder Allergien gibt - oder Dinge, die man nur ungern isst. Auf alles davon wurde perfekt eingegangen - und zwar nicht durch Weglassen, sondern durch sehr geschickten Austausch der problematischen Zutaten durch eine andere, sehr passende Alternative - im konkreten Fall Fenchel durch unreife, eingelegte Wassermelone. Ich kann das Restaurant jedem Fan von guter Küche ans Herz legen und finde es einfach toll, dass wir ein so schönes Lokal hier im Herzen von Obergiesing haben. Vielen Dank an alle!

Wir besuchten das Gabelspiel während unseres Aufenthalts in München und erlebten dort ein unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis. Das Restaurant bietet eine erfrischende Interpretation der gehobenen Küche – weniger Formalität, mehr das Zusammenspiel von Tradition und kühner Kreativität. Der kleine, dezent beleuchtete und recht intime Raum schafft eine entspannte und ungezwungene Atmosphäre. Der Service wirkte mitunter jedoch etwas zu leger, fast schon zu vertraulich. Das Degustationsmenü (6 oder 7 Gänge) ist sorgfältig zusammengestellt und wirkt wie eine perfekt inszenierte Show. Die Gerichte reichen von kreativen Interpretationen wie einer „vegetarischen Foie gras“ bis hin zu Wildgerichten mit unerwarteten Geschmackskontrasten. Insgesamt ist die Küche raffiniert und fantasievoll, obwohl einige Saucen für unseren Geschmack etwas zu salzig waren. Hinter dem Konzept steht Küchenchef Florian Berger, dessen Stil technische Präzision und künstlerische Vision gleichermaßen widerspiegelt. Sein Ansatz verbindet österreichische Wurzeln mit modernen kulinarischen Einflüssen und legt Wert auf saisonale, regionale Zutaten und klare, ausdrucksstarke Aromen. Der Michelin-Stern ist absolut verdient. Gabelspiel ist ein Ort für alle, die ein außergewöhnliches und unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis suchen. Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen, insbesondere wenn Sie gewagte Geschmacksexperimente, unkomplizierten Service und ein ebensolches Ambiente sowie eine lebhafte, quirlige Atmosphäre schätzen.

Es war ein wunderbarer Abend! Das Essen war vorzüglich. Wir hatten ein vegetarisches Menü und ein Menü mit Fisch/Fleisch. Beides war phantastisch! Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt aufdringlich. So, wie es in einem Sternerestaurant sein sollte. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Kleines, aber feines Restaurant mit einer wohligen Atmosphäre. Wir genossen ein ausgezeichnetes Sechsgang-Menü mit korrespondierenden Weinen. Es wird auch eine alkoholfreie Begleitung angeboten. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich sehr gut und schön präsentiert. Die begleitenden Weine ergänzten die einzelnen Gänge tadellos. Der Service war sehr nett, stets bemüht, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Gabelspiel.

Sehr gute kreative Küche mit herausragendem Service. Ambiente wunderschön!

Wir hatten zu zweit ein Dinner in diesem Sternerestaurant geplant und uns sehr darauf gefreut. Leider bekam mein Partner am selben Tag starken Schüttelfrost. Aus Verantwortungsbewusstsein haben wir bereits am Vormittag angerufen, um die Situation zu schildern und zu fragen, ob eine Stornierung oder Verschiebung möglich sei. Leider wurde uns dies verwehrt und aus Kulanz angeboten, zusätzlich einen Gutschein im Wert von 200 € zu kaufen, den wir dann zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt einlösen könnten, um so die Stornogebühr einzusparen. Das empfanden wir als sehr enttäuschend. Bei einem Essen im Wert von rund 400 € erwartet man ein gewisses Maß an Flexibilität – zumal man ein solches Menü genießen möchte und nicht krank im Restaurant sitzen will. Außerdem wollten wir es vermeiden, bei einer überschaubaren Gästeanzahl von etwa 20 Personen andere Gäste anzustecken. Das Essen selbst war qualitativ gut, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Umso schade war das Gesamterlebnis. Zusätzlich hat uns der äußere Eindruck des Hauses überrascht: Die Fassade war stark mit Graffiti besprüht, was man von einem Sternerestaurant dieser Kategorie nicht erwartet. Insgesamt bleibt ein sehr zwiespältiger Eindruck zurück. Kulanz und Verständnis hätten hier viel ausgemacht und dem Anspruch eines Hauses dieser Preisklasse besser entsprochen.

Rückmeldung zu unserem gestrigen Besuch Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, vor circa sechs Wochen hatten wir für gestern Abend einen Tisch in Ihrem Hause reserviert. Leider wurde ich in der Nacht vor unserem geplanten Besuch von Schüttelfrost und einer sich anbahnenden Grippe überrascht, sodass ich nicht in der Lage war, den Abend wie vorgesehen zu genießen. Wir haben gegen Mittag versucht, das Lokal telefonisch zu kontaktieren und eine E-Mail geschickt, um unsere Situation zu erläutern. Der Rückruf kam einige Stunden später, und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass entweder eine Zahlung von 200 € fällig wäre (Abbuchung von der hinterl. Kreditkarte)oder wir einen Gutschein im gleichen Wert kaufen müssten, um die Reservierung stornieren zu können. Diese Vorgehensweise empfand ich ehrlich gesagt als sehr ungewöhnlich für ein erstklassiges Haus. Trotz dieser Umstände entschlossen wir uns dennoch, den Abend wahrzunehmen. Für mich persönlich war das Erlebnis natürlich stark beeinträchtigt durch meine Erkrankung. Ich fand die Gerichte, die ich gegessen habe, eher flach und wenig aufregend, abgesehen von dem Käsegang und der Nachspeise, die mir am besten gefielen. Alles in allem hat mich der Abend nicht wirklich erreicht. Auch der Umgang mit Kunden, insbesondere in Ausnahmesituationen wie einer Erkrankung, bedarf meiner Meinung nach einer deutlichen Verbesserung. Natürlich verstehe ich die unternehmerische Sichtweise, jedoch sollten die Interessen des Kunden und deren Weiterempfehlung immer im Vordergrund stehen. Eines der besten Restaurants in München bisher 🩵

Toller Abend mit sehr gutem Menü. Einwandfreier Gourmet Abend. Das Menü war sehr kreativ und voller Ideen. Die Weine gut abgestimmt auf das Essen. Hier und da war ein Wein der alleine stehend nicht unsers gewesen wäre aber zusammen mit dem Essen sehr gut harmonierend. Das Ambiente war schön, allerdings ist das Thema der geringen Helligkeit im Gastraum nicht 100% unser Ding gewesen. Es ist gemütlich aber unserer Meinung nach zu dunkel für solch ein Menü. Qualität der Speisen sehr gut. Über den Wareneinsatz wurde ja hier bereits geschrieben. Kann man durchaus drüber diskutieren. Tafelspitz und Zander ist natürlich auf Sterneniveau nicht so häufig zu sehen aber die Zubereitung war hervorragend gemacht. Aber ja auch für uns klingt Kalbsbries oder Steinbutt immer besser im Menü. Definitiv wird hier aber auf 1 Sterne Niveau gekocht. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend mit tollen Speisen und sehr gutem Service. Danke an das Team.

Wir fanden das Menü an sich lecker, aber nicht auf Sterneniveau, allein vom Wareneinsatz. Die ersten 3 Gänge waren kleine Gemüsehappen, relativ neutral/geschmacklos und günstig. Die 2 Fleischgänge (einer davon Hauptgang) waren auch echt minimalistisch, vielleicht 20-40g Fleisch jeweils, aber immerhin geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut gelungen. Deutlich besser als die Gemüsegänge. Süsses Dessert war leider gar nichts, der Käsegang davor wiederum super. Also ein geteiltes Bild. Die Weinbegleitung mag zwar passend zu den Gängen gewesen sein, aber die 7 Weine selbst fanden wir bis auf einen Rotwein nicht besonders gut, dabei 1 komischer naturtrüber Weinmost. 2 süsse Weine nacheinander am Ende haben uns dann komplett erschlagen. Wir würden das Erlebnis daher derzeit am unteren Ende in München einordnen, hat einfach nicht so viel Spass gemacht wie andere Sternerestaurants in der Stadt. Handwerklich solide, aber kaum Besonderes und Preis/Leistung unangemessen. Dazu fanden wir die Inneneinrichtung duster und karg, man will wohl das Essen in den Vordergrund stellen, aber unserer Meinung kann man auch beides liefern. Service ist sehr aufmerksam und wir können nichts dagegen sagen, eingespieltes Team. Aber es fehlt so ein bisschen der Drive, fühlte sich abgespult an und war etwas langweilig.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Last Saturday, we dined at Gabelspiel for a seven-course dinner with wine pairings and had a truly phenomenal evening. From the very first minute, we felt exceptionally well taken care of. The service was attentive, warm, and highly professional. It was especially lovely that the waitstaff took ample time to explain each course and the wine selection. We felt like the guest was the center of attention throughout. The culinary experience was an absolute highlight. Every single course was fantastic. The chefs work with great finesse to ensure that the dishes are complex and exquisitely balanced. The wine pairings perfectly complemented each course. We have never eaten so well. The evening was worth every penny. We left overjoyed and can wholeheartedly recommend Gabelspiel, especially for a special occasion.

Unlike some other reviewers, I found the ambiance very harmonious and cozy. The service was unobtrusive, yet always attentive and very friendly. The food is absolutely worth the five stars; the light snacks served between courses added variety and provided a welcome change from the main courses. The wine pairing is highly recommended; I have rarely enjoyed such a perfectly matched selection of wines. A wonderful evening in a truly special restaurant. Fantastic!

Very interesting and surprising restaurant. Definitely one of the best fine dining experiences you can find in Munich nowadays. The service is kind, professional and very well organized but the food is definitely the star of the show as the name of the restaurant suggests; delicious, extremely well presented and creative with particular attention to the vegetable part of every dish. Faux gras, Dumpling and So a Kas are the extremely strong highlights of a well designed Menu. (Fun fact: So a Kas was so amazing we had to ask for a second round, that the Chef gently offered us.) I chose the non-alcoholic pairing and it was simply outstanding: every drink was carefully well designed and the combinations were so spot on that at least in one case (Karfiol) the Drink made the dish sky rocket high to altitudes that the dish alone (in my opinion of course) could not reach. So the pairing is absolutely recommended as important part of the experience. Chef Florian personally greeted me and my sous-chef at the end of the tasting menu and introduced us to his Team while chatting friendly with us. Highly recommended. Great Value-for-Money. I will come back for sure.

The food at Gabelspiel was exceptionally good – each course finely balanced and full of flavor. The wine pairings complemented the dishes perfectly and were always a pleasant surprise. What was particularly impressive was that special requests were promptly and cordially accommodated, such as serving the main course again after the cheese course. A fantastic evening! Excellent food of the highest quality! No dish was even mediocre; everything was perfect! Service was warm, relaxed, and unpretentious, not at all pretentious. The wine was very good; I could do without natural wine, but maybe it's necessary these days. Definitely go!

Hello dear team at Gabelspiel, We visited you yesterday and it was fantastic. The service was excellent and very friendly, first-class. The food was breathtaking. The wines were perfectly matched to the meal. I do have one point, though: it would have been nice if they'd given some bread with each course for the sauces. Highly recommended nonetheless. This was our first Michelin star meal and OMG we are so happy! First the servers were so sweet, kind, funny relaxed, I was nervous and they made sure we were comfortable and happy!! We ate outside in the garden and it was so beautiful and got cozy at night, also loved the bird sounds in the bathroom! Now the food WOW 6 courses really was 10 and every course was a knockout, creative without being over the top crazy, and just downright yummy! We are so pleased and hope we can come back! Well worth the cost!

Don‘t judge the building by its exterior - inside it looks elegant. The restaurant is cosey and at -roundabout- a dozen tables, the guests find space for an enjoyable evening. I have to admit, it was my debut at a Michelin Star Restaurant and I felt like an culinary illiterate. You think, you know food - I have eaten before, but what comes to your table and explode in your mouth is far away from what I have experienced so far. In the end, it was not only an exciting experience for the tongue, but also a challenge for my brain. An experience, I can strongly recommend. Besides this I highly appreciated the service that was always kind and friendly, competent and always on eye-level, never arrogant. I like to thank the team for the beautiful evening and wish you all the best for the future. PS: The asparagus Burrata is a dream. I believe my favorite of the current menu.

I can only agree with the previous reviews. A highlight in Munich's Michelin-starred gastronomy. Highly creative cuisine, presented with perfect dedication. The non-alcoholic beverage pairing is fantastic. An ingredient from each course can be found in the drink. Each drink is served in a special glass, with very expert explanations. It's definitely worth trying. A special evening in the best sense of the word!

The food, the wine pairing, and the non-alcoholic drinks were of the highest quality – creative, harmonious, and perfectly coordinated. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail: The kitchen uses high-quality, regional ingredients and shows the courage to use exciting combinations and modern techniques. The homemade, non-alcoholic drinks were also carefully and creatively prepared – a real highlight! Due to a severely delayed flight, we had to make last-minute changes, but the team was incredibly understanding and flexible. This warm and professional service made our evening even more special. We appreciate it very much and are already looking forward to our next visit – thank you for this thoroughly enjoyable experience!

One of the best experiences we've ever had in Michelin-starred dining! The Gabelspiel impresses not only with exceptional cuisine of the highest caliber, but above all with warm, personal service that makes the evening truly special. Each course was perfectly composed, creative, and thought through down to the last detail – without seeming overly elaborate. You can feel the passion and precision with which they work. I would especially like to highlight the host team: authentic, attentive, and with a soothing ease rarely experienced in fine dining. An evening at the Gabelspiel is not just a culinary experience, but also a feeling of genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Sober, modern ambience. A bit noisy. The menu was okay, but unfortunately unspectacular; it wasn't really possible to change a single course... :( Unfortunately, there were no real culinary eye-openers among the courses. Service was okay. So, unfortunately, not Michelin-star quality! Therefore, the price-performance ratio isn't right either.

Update: This was our second time here – and it was another wonderful evening. The service was consistently confident, absolutely friendly, and relaxed – this also reflected the atmosphere in the restaurant; you could sense the cheerful atmosphere among the other guests. The menu changes, and we were once again surprised by each new dish. Every flavor is crystal clear and intense. Once again, every bite of a dish was a new, multifaceted experience. Praise also goes to the non-alcoholic beverages – from other restaurants, we were more used to (high-quality) juices, but here, too, a lot of love and skill went into them, which wonderfully complemented the dish. A very pleasant restaurant with truly outstanding dishes. We felt completely at home; the service was extremely approachable and professional, and the atmosphere was like being a guest at a friend's house. It wasn't our first foray into Michelin-starred cuisine, but it was a family highlight. The sommelier deserves special mention; she prepared a bold wine pairing that perfectly complemented the dishes.

You can't have much more fun eating! Very pleasant atmosphere, super nice friendly service, excellently composed culinary events, very entertaining and exciting wine accompaniment... This was definitely our first but not last time!!

There were too many fermented products. Why doesn't a good product like trout or veal get its due and has to be covered with all sorts of fermented or crunchy ingredients? 175 euros for the menu is excessive. The ambience is very cool and very dark.

I rarely write reviews and 5 stars are only given in exceptional cases. Today is the day. Just on the way home and still excited. Today I decided to go out on a whim to have a good meal and the service was perfect. Here, relaxed professionalism in service meets outstanding cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Every course is a feast for the eyes, each original and of perfect quality and workmanship. And most importantly: everything tastes great! See you next time!

Super friendly staff. Food was incredibly good, far ahead of other 1 star restaurants in terms of taste! Been there twice and will definitely come back.

The food is new and very tasty. Lovely service, plates and presentation. Friendly service. The only downside is the excessive insistence on selling water. (Despite 1 bottle of champagne and 2 bottles of wine for 4 people, they keep pouring water until the end and NEVER ask if there should be another bottle of water.)

Small, fine restaurant with friendly service staff. Unfortunately, the claim that one expects does not seem to be able to be translated. It started with the fact that unfortunately the most trivial questions about the aperitif could not be answered in an expert manner. The individual courses often played on a rather superficial level. You have to give credit to the restaurant for having 2-3 courses that stood out. But that must not be the case with this claim. At least the majority of it has to be right... but it isn't. The sad highlight was that the guest had to break the bread by hand and even when asked - because they were out in the city all day - this was vehemently refused. So it was necessary to wash your hands first before you could concentrate on the hallway. At least a cloth to clean your hands could have been offered. And what does it look like when you're out and about with colleagues or business partners? Then the guest's wishes should be taken into account when it comes to hygiene. The subsequent courses were also rather average. Unfortunately, it's a shame because the attempt and the menu promised a lot. But excessive service and mediocre dishes quickly changed the mood. Anyone who wants to eat at a star level will be happier elsewhere - especially in Munich.

Abbiamo cenato in un giardino abbastanza nascosto e difficile da individuare dalla strada. Il personale è stato gentile e i piatti onestamente buoni, dal gusto gradevole ed equilibrato. I dolci invece non ci sono piaciuti. Tra le note negative della serata dobbiamo annoverare il tavolo che ci hanno riservato in fondo al giardino dove purtroppo si sentiva forte un cattivo odore di spazzatura. Inoltre, per la prima volta in assoluto, dopo tanti anni di esperienza ai ristoranti, mi dicono che la cena per mio figlio che non aveva fame, era stata comunque preparata ed andava servita o l'avrebbero buttata. In poche parole che l'avremmo dovuta pagare lo stesso perché il tavolo era riservato per 4 persone e 4 menù degustazione andavano pagati. A questo punto avremmo voluto rispondere di regalare la cena in più a qualche persona bisognosa, ma non ci siamo fidati che ciò non sarebbe stato fatto. Allora ce la siamo fatta servire e ci siamo divisi i piatti un pò per uno, ma teniamo a segnalare ai prossimi avventori questo comportamento quantomeno poco signorile!

We had dinner in a garden that was quite hidden and difficult to spot from the street. The staff was friendly and the dishes were honestly good, with a pleasant and balanced taste. We didn't like the desserts though. Among the negative notes of the evening we must include the table they reserved for us at the end of the garden where unfortunately there was a strong smell of rubbish. Furthermore, for the first time ever, after many years of experience in restaurants, they told me that the dinner for my son who wasn't hungry had been prepared anyway and had to be served or they would have thrown it away. In short, we should have paid the same because the table was reserved for 4 people and 4 tasting menus had to be paid for. At this point we would have liked to reply to give the extra dinner to some needy person, but we didn't trust that this wouldn't be done. So we had it served and we divided the dishes one by one, but we would like to point out this unladylike behavior to future customers!

A good experience but not the best tasting menu or Michelin star we've done.

What an amazing place, I had dinner there yesterday and I’m ready to go again. The menu is just perfect in variety and quality, the wine pairing superb and the service was friendly, easy going and super high quality.

The restaurant recently received a star. You immediately understand why as soon as the first course is served. The dishes are artfully prepared and taste absolutely convincing. Special requests were also spontaneously implemented very skillfully. The non-alcoholic beverage accompaniment was very varied and creative

Went there for my birthday and it was amazing. It is a family run restaurant with a Michelin star. They manage to make you feel like you’re sitting in mums kitchen and in a very high class noble restaurant at the same time. The food was amazing and the wine pairing with it as well.

Das Gabelspiel startete mal als Sterne-Restaurant "for the rest of us". Das ist es gewissermaßen immer noch, auch wenn die Preise deutlich angezogen haben und die französischen Einflüsse mittlerweile überwiegen. Dies muss kein Nachteil sein - die Speisen sind durchweg auf Top-Niveau. Soweit erstmal alles Bestens. Weniger gefallen haben uns ein paar Punkte drumherum: Das Licht ist dermaßen runtergedimmt, dass wir unsere Handy-Leuchten anschalten, um zu sehen, was auf dem Teller liegt. Nach einer Stunde frieren wir an den Beinen, da beim Öffnen der Tür der kalte Wind von draußen durch den Raum weht (die Heizkörper sind leider komplett verkleidet). Und, ja, die Weinbegleitung ist ein wenig "unkonventionell" und driftet für unseren Geschmack zu sehr ins Schräge ab (Stichwort Naturwein). Unser vorsichtiger Hinweis darauf wird von der robust auftretenden Sommelière beiseite gewischt: "Das machen wir immer so". Schade, dass hier nicht auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen wird und dem hohen Niveau der Küche nicht entsprochen wird. Somit nur drei Punkte.

This place is no less than a world-class restaurant. Went there on a special occasion, and it turned out to be a great evening with amazing food!!! The food looks like an art on the plate, and taste is just so enjoyable that anyone might forget who is sitting next to you. Great selection of wines is available with recommendations depending on the menu. Last but not least, GREAT customer service!!! Great experience, and I would love to come back.

Our go-to restaurant for fine dining in Munich for many years. Nowhere else are we regularly so surprised by flavor combinations that we would never have thought of. In addition, there are always exciting wine accompaniments, wonderfully relaxed service and an outstanding price-performance ratio. Very few other restaurants in the same category (and sometimes even higher) can keep up with us. Unreserved recommendation.

Went here as a couple, paid around 700 euros for 7 courses with wine accompaniment and a few little extras and were not disappointed. Since my companion is vegetarian, the menu was changed a lot for her, but everything tasted just right. The ambience is different than what you would expect from the outside, especially more spacious and cozy. The service was great, we especially found the sommelier very funny. Gladly again.

The food is very good. The rest lags behind a bit. First of all: We were there on a day when there was very little going on. Only one other couple apart from us, maybe it's different on days like this than when it's full. The welcome is warm and pleasant and the current aperitif (a gin with chamomile tea) is original. The first greeting came very quickly from the kitchen. A smoked fish consommé. More umami becomes difficult. The rhythm then continued. The amusements and appetizers arrived in quick succession. (Everything was a bit too quick for my taste.) The other table came half an hour after us and was served even faster, so that by the time they got their first starter they were already on par with us. We opted for the complete menu, with cheese and dessert. The dishes were all very good, with lots of Asian influences and techniques and great products, and you can tell that the star has been earned. Unfortunately the wine accompaniment wasn't a success for us. Most of the wines were white and, analogous to the rosé wines, they were all praised with the same adjectives 'sparkling' 'original' 'fresh' 'green'. And in fact, they all tasted somewhat similar in the end. Except for one natural wine that was really different. Personally, I don't particularly like yeasty wines, but you have to acknowledge that it was original and went well with the dish. The only red wine in the series was good, but nothing special. Maybe he really didn't make a fool of himself, but he didn't leave a lasting impression either. The sherry with the cheese was a safe choice which for me was too sweet for the already very sweet cheese. After this perhaps somewhat unenthusiastic digression, the most important thing: The amuses and the Café Gourmand at the end (even though we enjoyed it without coffee) were terrific but all the courses in between were just great. Everything about the food was just right and they tried very hard to work around my allergies.

A great restaurant, the dishes are very creative, beautifully composed and each a great culinary art. We really enjoyed every course. The Michelin star is truly deserved! This was our second time there, a few years apart, and the quality is still extremely high.

An enchanting evening with a sensational sparkling wine menu, served by a charming, relaxed team in a family atmosphere.

Lovely place with intimate seating. One main room (about 8-10 tables) and one side room (about 3 tables). The service is spotless and very well in tune with and the food is very creative, tasty and thoughtful. One of the better experiences so far in a Munich fine dining restaurant. Minor comments - pending the crowd it can get pretty noisy in there and the service could get a touch more personalized but that may be a preference question. We had a wonderful evening in the Gabelspiel restaurant. This small and incredibly fine restaurant is hidden in the middle of Giesing, where nothing is left to chance. Super friendly and good service staff, who also ensure a relaxed and relaxed atmosphere. The menu is spectacular with innovative creations paired with an elegant and well-thought-out wine pairing. Awesome food, I cannot imagine how many hours it requires. Very good&trained staff. The location it's not the best, kinda loud &cold. Altough every bite it's exquisite, i was still hungry at the end..portions very small.

Nobody suspects what jewel 💎 is hidden inside: a clear guest room, slightly darkened light, very pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly and professional service. Beautifully arranged menu, thoughtfully curated wines, charming staff and an overall outstanding experience. The vegetarian option was carefully rearranged and aligned with the original menu. We‘ve been living round the corner for 14 years, so glad we visited this place!

First of all, the food is TOP and deserves a star. But: It was too cold and drafty, especially because the entrance door doesn't close properly. We found four full hours too long for 6 courses, especially since each course only contained 2 to 3 bites. The wine list is short (6 red wines from Austria even though the chef is Austrian, no Spanish red wine), overall acceptable but not worthy of a star.

After we arrived stressed because of the snow chaos, we were warmly welcomed in a relaxed atmosphere. If you go to the star kitchen every now and then, you go into such an evening with high expectations. And we were not disappointed. Instead of the wine accompaniment offered, with Ms. Berger's expert advice, we opted for two excellent wines from the well-curated wine list. Wir waren ausgesprochen begeistert von der Kreativität der Küche, die unglaublich ideenreich und in jedem Gang unglaublich lecker war! Da wird nicht einfach abgehoben gezaubert, sondern wirklich top verwöhnt! Dazu passt noch der ausgesprochen nette, zuvorkommende und sehr professionelle Service! Getränkebegleitung gibt es wahlweise mit oder ohne Alkohol. Auch das eine super Idee! ...und die Sommeliere versteht ihr Handwerk vom Feinsten! Super! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! the restaurant looks amazing and cozy, the staff is great but lets talk about the food: Under the advice of a foodie friend, we went for the menu paired with the non-alcoholic drinks and never was i happier NOT to drink wine. Each drink pairing was showing not only creativity and a little outside the box thinking, but was absolutely perfection when paired with the food. The level on which the non-alcoholic pairing matched each course could not be matched with wine. (perfect!) We started with a little aperitif and were soon presented a little soup/broth, absolutely delicious and reinforced the cozy feeling in a cold autumn evening. The first three items (Veal / Herb Explosion / Cauliflower) were an absolute stunning introduction, each item was delicious and the skill and personality of the chef was immediately coming through, we were delighted. Next up, an item that sparked some curiosity as it appears on the menu as "Faux gras"... intriguing. The flavors it presented were delightful, offering a compelling experience. Yet, it's worth noting that the generous size of the waffle made it a challenge to savor every nuance simultaneously. Moving on to the local seafood selection, we encountered one of the two undisputed highlights of the evening's culinary journey. This particular dish unfurled a symphony of flavors that left an indelible mark on the palate. It was a moment in we found ourselves immersed in the culinary genius of the chef. It is time for an homage to the German tradition, "bread time." Here, the transcendent experience we've been savoring comes abruptly back to the realm of the ordinary. We transition from the heights of culinary excellence to a more moderate realm – a shift that, while unexpected, left us with a twinge of disappointment. It's "Autumn" time, and our next dish transports us deep into the heart of the forest. In a symphony of flavors, textures, and visual artistry, this dish masterfully reflects the culinary prowess of the chef. amazing! Our journey continue with a creative surf&turf, a unique combination of Gamba / Pork / Banana that was undeniably enjoyable, though one might discern a hint of excess saltiness, scarcely detracting from the overall experience. Now time to call on the stage what should have been the a star dish, with Wagyu / gyoza a delicious pepper reduction and miso puree. I cannot hide the fact that at first sight, you would think the meat serving would be twice the served size. As the single Wagyu slice sits modest on the plate. The start of this dish is without doubt the pepper sauce, the gyoza wrapper was unexpectedly good. This dish left us slightly disappointed. We opted for the Sweets close the menu, Quince / Croissant / Pistachio, we are warned that it might not be what we initially expect and comes with a little surprise ingredient. We receive a little work of art, on a bed of Quince we have a croissant creme (yeah you read that right) topped with crunchy pistachio crumbs and caviar ?! what ? picture me skeptical. However, much like our earlier encounter with the local fish dish, this was yet another moment where the chef's undeniable mastery shone brilliantly. The sweet dish was nothing short of a work of art, and the inclusion of caviar revealed itself to be a stroke of genius, harmonizing seamlessly with the entire composition. It was nothing short of extraordinary. While some of the dishes have room for improvement, there are those that achieve culinary excellence. We would willingly forego the "brotzeit" in favor of another offering that truly showcases the chef's remarkable talent. Overall a great experience, we look forward to visit again in the future.

Wir verbrachten einen gemütlichen Abend mit einer äußerst kreativen, leckeren Speisenfolge. Die Gastgeber sind sehr locker, freundlich und ließen keine Fragen bezüglich Essen oder Wein unbeantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das gesamte Team hat es geschafft, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Der Service war sehr freundlich, höflich und immer sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war wunderbar und die Weine sehr gut auf die verschiedenen Gänge abgestimmt. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und kommen gerne wieder.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Sowohl das Essen als auch der Service. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.Um die 100 Zeichen voll zu bekommen möchte ich noch die sensationelle Frau Berger lobend erwähnen. Einfach erfrischend 👍

Vorab… wir werden leider nicht wieder kommen. Für den ersten Eindruck, gibt es leider keine zweite Chance. Der Service war super freundlich. Aber das reicht leider für einen Sterneladen nicht. Die Atmosphäre ist für ein Sternelokal nicht angemessen. Alles recht einfach gehalten. Und dann donnert alle paar Minuten die Straßenbahn vorbei. Für so einen gehobenen Laden die völlig falsche Location. Aber es geht ja um das Essen. Handwerklich super toll gemacht… nur wurde leider der Geschmack vergessen. Der Saibling war der einzige Gang, der lecker war. Alles andere hat eigentlich nach nichts geschmeckt. Am schlimmsten war die Nachspeise. Null Geschmack. Ich hab gedacht, ich beiß in Pappe. Leider waren die Gänge sich sehr monoton. Irgendwie kam bei jedem Gang der Teller mit Füllung und dann wurde eine Flüssigkeit aus dem Kännchen drüber gegossen. Das ist einmal ganz witzig, aber halt noch drei oder viermal. Sehr enttäuschend, leider. Wir hatten große Erwartungen. Und es war einer der letzten Sterneläden, die wir in München noch auf unserer Liste hatten. Und leider auch ganz hinten mit dabei. Da haben wir schon sehr viel besser gegessen. Die Damen waren super nett. Allerdings war die Weinempfehlung auch nur so lala. Es tut mir sehr leid, das sagen zu müssen, aber es war leider ein Reinfall.

Location: We were seated out in the garden where the light is great but as you are surrounded with flowers, there are just way too many bees... And a few of then also fell into my wine, for me that I have a small fear for them, it had somewhat of a terrifying start

Super Essen und Service! Wir hatten vorab gefragt ob es möglich sei einen Menupunkt zu ersetzen und dies war überhaupt kein Problem.

Das Gabelspiel bietet eine entspannte Atmosphäre bei interessantem Essen. Wir haben jeden Gang genossen. Lediglich die Zeit zwischen den Gängen war uns etwas zu lange. Für die sehr legere Kleidung mancher Gäste kann das Lokal nichts.

Leckeres, kreativ und handwerklich Perfekt inszeniertes Essen! Hier stimmt alles, der rote Faden der Idee und des Konzepts ist überall sichtbar. Das familiäre Personal ist nur zuvorkommend und freundlich sondern auch super angenehm down to the Earth. Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Abend.

Nicht nur wirklich sehr gut. Über die Jahre findet hier auch noch eine deutliche Entwicklung und Steigerung statt. Lediglich die insgesamt gebotene Menge hat gefühlt etwas angenommen. Trotzdem vollstens zu empfehlen.

Einfach NUR geil! Man taucht ab in eine andere Welt. Einmal im Jahr gönnen wir uns das. Das letzte mal mit Weinbegleitung, HAMMER. Weiter so. Und? Satt geworden auch noch :-)

Kleines Restaurant der Spitzenklasse. Die Lage zwischen den Bierkneipen der Tegernseer Landstr. ist ungewöhnlich für ein solches Restaurant. Das Essen ist außerordentlich. Bekannte Zutaten werden in einer Weise be- und verarbeitet, wie man es nicht kennt, und so erzeugt jeder der 6 oder 7 Gänge nicht nur Genuss, sondern auch Staunen. Der Service ist nett und unprätentiös. Die Weinkarte überzeugt mit Vielfalt.
