Délice La Brasserie in München

Today we had the pleasure of experiencing a truly exceptional brunch at Délice La Brasserie. The selection was magnificent – ​​from hearty classics to refined French specialties, all prepared with meticulous attention to detail and to the highest standard. 🥐🍳🍓 The cuisine was simply outstanding, every dish perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The service also deserves special praise: attentive, warm, and always with a smile. A huge thank you to Sebastian and his amazing team – you gave us a wonderful brunch morning (or rather, afternoon). Such dedication and hospitality are rare. We will definitely be back! 💫

A typical Sofitel upscale hotel restaurant. As expected, it was very good; the food was of very high quality and reasonably priced. The service could have been a bit better; there are several Sofitel hotel restaurants that are significantly better. The service staff were friendly, but unfortunately not as courteous and "advisory" as is typical for a Sofitel. I looked at the service staff several times and also asked if I could have the wine list, but this was apparently ignored or overlooked. This could have increased sales and satisfaction. Given that occupancy was rather low, I would have expected it. Also, contrary to expectations, there was no welcome from the kitchen. There's room for improvement!

Unfortunately, this was a major annoyance, so we can't recommend Brasserie Delice. It's not value for money at €69.00 plus €20.00 for wine and sparkling wine, etc. per person. The prices are high, but the quality of the food was not at all impressive. Almost all à la carte orders were served cold or lukewarm and were of poor quality. The eggs Benedict were the icing on the cake, as they were finally served after an hour of waiting, served cold and in a horrible composition, the likes of which we had never tasted before. Naturally, we returned everything. We were offered another order, but our appetites were gone. The service was incompetent, inattentive, and equally disastrous. The bread basket wasn't refilled as requested, the mini white sausages were missing the pretzel, which wasn't brought, the appropriate cutlery for the à la carte orders wasn't brought or refilled, you had to get salt and pepper yourself, the orders were brought every 30 to 45 minutes, and the brunch ended at 2:00 PM. Unbelievable... We were lured to this brunch by an Instagram post from Munich Inside with wonderful photos and delicious food. A deliciously filled cake stand and oysters were shown in the photos. The cake stand we received was filled with one slice of salami, two slices of ham, cheap cheese, some fruit, and a small bowl of porridge, with no sign of oysters. It was all a big bluff and a fake. We will never go there again and pay so much money for "nothing" and an annoyed, messed-up Sunday. One star is still too much for the quality of the food and the abysmal service, although we didn't receive any discount on the final bill, despite several deliberate mistakes, as no one felt responsible for them.

This Sunday we went to the Sofitel for brunch for the second time – and once again it was a thoroughly enjoyable morning. As soon as you arrive, you sense the stylish atmosphere, which creates the perfect setting for a relaxed dining experience. We particularly appreciate the way the kitchen works with seasonal accents, bringing new nuances to the plate each time. We were truly delighted by some of the freshly added dishes. Instead of the oysters mentioned in another review, we received a shrimp cocktail, which was beautifully prepared and completely won us over. We eat out regularly and often, even at upscale establishments, and can therefore say with confidence: The overall package here is just right. The quality of the food, the presentation, and the balance of classics and new dishes are testament to a high culinary standard, which we greatly appreciate. The service was also attentive and friendly – ​​small requests were met calmly and quickly. A glance around the room also revealed that not only we, but also the guests around us, seemed visibly satisfied and enjoyed the brunch to the fullest. In light of this, we cannot understand the very negative criticism expressed elsewhere. Our impression is rather one of a stylish ambiance, fine cuisine with a seasonal focus, and a well-coordinated team that provides its guests with a wonderful Sunday. A heartfelt thank you to the service and kitchen team – we would be happy to come back!

We were there today for the Delice Sunday Brunch, which we thoroughly enjoyed. From a warm welcome, delicious food, and a great wine selection in the wine package. The service was very attentive and prompt. We enjoyed the time and the weather on the terrace. My highlight was the Egg Benedict with salmon and truffle – a dream! An all-around fantastic day, thanks to the service from Celine and Fabian. We'll be back!

The service here was sublime - we're guests of the hotel and were treated very well. My partner has a very unfortunate mix of dietary allergens and restrictions but the wait staff was extremely accommodating and walked us through all the options and substitutions they could accommodate.

We are staying at this hotel and we were advised to visit this place, all we got was a complete disappointment. The menu is small, the wine list is large, but when we asked the waiter to recommend wine, he didn't know anything about wine and suggested the most expensive options. Initially, the table was set for two people, but there were four of us. The waiter didn't bring us any cutlery. When we placed our order and received it, we were shocked to see that the dishes were served without cutlery, until we pointed out that they were missing, and they were not provided. The dishes were terrible. The tartar was served like a smeared flatbread on a plate without any croutons or bread. The risotto was a separate art form, with an unknown grain instead of rice, and it was undercooked, with a crunchy texture. If you ever visit this place, I will never recommend it to you, as it is a waste of money. The prices are inflated, and the taste is disgusting!!!!

We visited for brunch on Sunday (approx. €69 per person). A few unfortunate things: the bread was a bit hard, the oysters are no longer available, and the sparkling wine isn't included – for a brasserie, I would have expected both to be included in the price. The service was extremely friendly, the interior very well-maintained, with high ceilings and an inviting terrace with comfortable garden furniture. Practical tip: It wasn't possible to make a reservation for the day by phone, but we managed to find a table online at short notice – it's worth a look!

We were a group of four and had an absolutely fantastic brunch experience! The food was delicious and varied – there was something for everyone, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. Had dinner there about 2 months ago, for two people. We walked in without a reservation and had an excellent meal. Everything was great, the food, the armosphere, the service... Nothing bad to say about this restaurant. It is quite pricy, as it is a hotel restaurant, so it's a place to go to for special occasions.

The food is very high quality and delicious. We had the à la carte brunch for €89 per person. Unfortunately, the time window was too short to sample everything. The service and ambiance are top-notch.

Stayed at the Sofitel Hotel for two nights while on vacation and dined in this restaurant on one of the evenings. Great staff and the food was awesome, cocktails were well made, highly recommend the chicken dishes. Definitely plan to dine here again when in Munich, fantastic experience!

Food was good, but beware the menu does NOT list any common, severe food allergens. Two of our four dishes had tree nuts that were NOT INDICATED on the menu. It would have meant a trip to the hospital for me if I’d eaten the wrong thing. Kinda crazy for a place that was careful to list vegan vs vegetarian distinctions so clearly. Be careful!

Last weekend ten people ate there with our club. Extremely competent service with great wine recommendations. We had a great time and ate wonderfully. Gladly again!

Really cool French restaurant within the Sofitel hotel next to the Hbf. Some salient features - Gourmet Cuisine, every dish was carefully crafted. - Exceptional Service - the staff went out of the way with their courtesy - Varied wine offering The menu variety could be improved though, very limited selection.

I like the bread with three different seasoning. The salat and the drinks are also good. However, the main course is a huge disappointment. The Tagliatelle is like over boiled twice amount of time. You cannot even pick up a single noodle because they basically merged to a single doodle. The truffles look great but with almost no flavor. The seasoning is even worse. It tastes like a pasta cooked without filtering out the water, but instead with the condensed pasta water all soaked by the tagliatelle and it tastes like nothing but flour water. It was impossible to finish it without adding extra salt and pepper. But the Turbot is okay. I guess they just can’t cook Italian food because this is a French restaurant. I will suggest people to go to a random cheap restaurant and pay around 15€ instead of 34€ to taste more enjoyable pasta.

Vorspeise war sehr gut, Hauptgang kam dann erst nach knapp 2 Stunden und war völlig kalt bei allen vier Personen. Das Service Personal sehr freundlich die Küche wohl etwas überfordert durch die sehr lange Wartezeit auf den Hauptgang, der dann komplett kalt serviert wurde hat dies den Abend sehr getrübt

We went to Delice for Sunday brunch (Advent brunch). Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Very comfortable and not too big. The dishes that are served are all really, really tasty and there is something for everyone! The drinks are also great, you have a large selection of coffee, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks that are included in the price. We would definitely come again. The service was also super nice and accommodating.

I haven’t eaten in the actual restaurant but I’ve ordered room service in my stay at the Sofitel Bayerpost, and it honestly was an excellent meal and one of the tastiest rooms services I’ve had in Germany. And while room service meals are often simplified, here they are the same as you’d be able to order from the restaurant itself which is a huge bonus.

Enjoyed the pumpkin soup, classic chicken with cream sauce and crème brûlée. Service staff was warm welcoming and attentive at the right time.

Each dish was masterfully prepared, both in taste and presentation. The service was impeccable. The waitstaff were quick, polite, and guided us perfectly in making our food and wine selections. Despite trying different glasses of wine with each course, all their recommendations were of high quality and perfectly paired. That said, the lighting design could be improved. Incorporating softer lighting and adding tabletop lamps would create a warmer and more inviting ambiance. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying evening in terms of cuisine, service, and wine. Highly recommended!

Das Restaurant ist nicht mit anderen Restaurants aus 5 Sterne Hotels zu vergleichen. Das Ambiente ist eher low und kein wow. Das Essen war sehr gut aber vergleichsweise hochpreisig. Darüber hinaus wurde vorab noch nicht mal Brot oder ein Gruss aus der Küche gereicht

Our first meal here was so good we had to return to try the other things we had been eyeballing. The gluten free options (including desserts) were excellent.

Exceptional food, service and atmosphere. We dined here twice during our stay at the Sofitel hotel. Ms. Rodriguez was especially pleasant both times.

The scallops appetizer was a big disappointment. It was really a bean dish with two tiny scallops instead of a scallop dish with some beans. The Turbot filet was also the thinnest and poorest filet I have ever eaten. It was killed with seasonings that were over the top. The service was average and not the quality I would expect from Sofitel. Overall, very disappointed.

I had to take a late train to Belgium, so I checked out a restaurant near the hotel with a rating of 4+ and ordered asparagus spaghetti and cheesecake. The cheesecake was a surprise, super fragrant and delicious, although it cost 400 Hong Kong dollars for 2 orders with rebate. , but this cheesecake is worth the price!

Very good. This is a very authentic French restaurant with excellent service. I ordered a few dishes recommended by the waiter and was very satisfied. I am willing to recommend other friends to dine here.

A small oasis around Hauptbahnhof

Fantastic dinner. Food, had many dishes, and all were delicious. Drinks, one app to share, bread and spreads were great, Ravioli was divine, one other pasta, and cake for dessert. Ambience is beautiful, sat outside for some sun, theres a huge lovely tree, and the indoor dining area is tidy and nice also. Service was excellent, wonderful woman who even offered us blankets when it was cold outside. Value, pricing is fair, and I enjoyed all of my food and experience, I would definitely come back and might get that ravioli again!

The French fries were really delicious. The appetizers were also very delicious. The steak was very ordinary, but it wasn't a problem thanks to the friendly staff.

Haben Schnecken bestellt, die vom Kartoffelbrei bedeckt haben, etwas seltsam und für unseren Gaumen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dazu noch Huhn: ein großes Stück Hühnerbrust, einfach so. War ebenfalls gewöhnungsbedürftig, haben etwas Feineres erwartet. Zum Nachtisch gab es nur eine kleine Auswahl, vorwiegend Kuchen. Etwas dürftig.

We wanted to grab a quick bite before bed, we ordered 2 pasta’s which were okay, nothing special but not bad either. The price quality ratio is not great at all.

I have reported to the restaurant managent about unacceptable service provided yesterday in Delice Brasserie. we came to have dinner with child and waited approx.20 min for ordering and after we complained in this regard the service was stopped completely. Desert was not offered and even the wine I served by myself. We are not the first time here in Sofitel and hope not last one. We absolutely trust that you will follow up above described situation to make sure that there will be no any of your guest. Do not go there. Even you are from Kazakhstan speaking Russian you will be treated as described above.

We'll have the Christmas goose served to us...that was the idea. That was a very good idea. Because the Christmas menu contained everything a connoisseur could wish for. On the evening of December 25th, only one of the two restaurants at the Sofitel Munich was open. However, there was this classic and delicious Christmas menu. The goose consommé with truffle Schöberl, the main course very classic. Breast and leg were the centerpiece of the main course, along with red cabbage... The Baumkuchen dessert was artfully draped and also a classic of the Christmas season. The service was equally friendly and warm. It went well with the Christmas atmosphere. Wonderful Christmas.

Unfortunate experience here over Christmas. The food was pretty good, however; the service was poor. There are much better options in the area, keep looking.

Sensationell- eine Oase in der Bahnhofsgegend

No trip to Munich is complete without this being the final night meal. It was just what we needed after a long weekend celebrating at Oktoberfest. Food and service top notch.

A nice, but very expensive restaurant. I would expect more variety in the menu at that price level. The pre-covid menu had more selection and had a nice lunch menu (I prefer a lighter lunch). When I pay 34 euro for a sandwich, I expect it to be a cut above the rest. It was just average. The service was outstanding as usual. I’ve dined here many times for several years and I just hope they refresh the menu and live up to what they once were.

Leider ein einziges Ärgernis. Hatten einen Monat vorab für 16:00 Uhr reserviert (Feier eines runden Geburtstages mit Rahmenprogramm in München, deshalb spätes Mittagessen geplant), eine positive Rückmeldung bekommen und am Tag zuvor extra bestätigt (Nr. 10107). Bei pünktlicher Ankunft war dennoch geschlossen: "Restaurant öffnet erst um 17:00 Uhr", bitte in die Bar setzen. Haben dort 2x nachgefragt und nur die lakonische Antwort erhalten: "Setzen Sie sich einfach hier hin". Da wir um diese Zeit gut essen wollten und andere Restaurants in der Regel noch Mittagspause haben, gab es leider keine brauchbare Alternative. Wir hatten deshalb eigens hier reserviert, da die Brasserie durchgängig geöffnet hat, jedenfalls lt. Webseite zum Zeitpunkt der Reservierung. D.h. es war trotz Bestätigung kein Tisch reserviert, nichts eingedeckt und wir sassen nun in einer Bar statt einem Restaurant. Ambiente ist aber wichtig! Es gab leider noch mehr ärgerliche Punkte: - Das Personal konnte sich die Bestellung nicht merken, wir haben die Speisenbestellung 3x durchgeführt. - Insgesamt haben wir 5-6 verschiedene Personen im Service kennen gelernt, ein ständiger Wechsel. Ist das normal? - Bei nur 4 Gästen wurden immer wieder Gläser vergessen, Kaffee ohne Zucker serviert etc. Ein Glas war sogar angeschlagen. - Wir wurden mehrfach unfreiwillig Zeugen wie die Auszubildende(n) ermahnt wurden weil z.B. "schon wieder nicht richtig boniert" wurde. Das kann natürlich passieren, will ich als Gast aber nicht mithören. - Exorbitante Preise wie z.B. einfacher Espresso 4,70€ oder Flasche Mineralwasser 0,75l für 12,50€. Die Krönung des Tages: 2h Parkhaus für 24€! Neuer Rekord! Spät abends wurden wir sogar angeschrieben, warum wir zu unserer Reservierung nicht erschienen wären. Ein wirklich inakzeptabler Service, man kann es nicht anders nennen. Fazit: Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, leider hat der schlechte Service die gute Arbeit der Küche ruiniert. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

We waited 25 minutes after being seated without anyone acknowledging us or coming over to our table. The restaurant was maybe a quarter full. So we left. Would have loved to tried the food.

Personal zu hektisch, Geräuschpegel viel zu hoch, dicke Luft, ansonsten Rinderfilet ok, Pommes banal und in zu kleine Stücke geschnitten, Gemüse zu wenig, Creme brulee ok. Cette brasserie manque de classe.

Als französisches Restaurant würde ich es nicht unbedingt bezeichnen. Die Speisen lesen sich sehr gut auf der Karte aber meines Erachtens ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz ausgeglichen (ich arbeite selbst in der gehobenen Gastronomie). Das Restaurant ist vom Ambiente her sehr schön und der Service überaus freundlich

vielen dank für den wundervollen abend gestern. es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen, vom service bis zu liebevoll angerichteten gerichten. wir kommen gerne wieder ps: muss leider einen punkt abziehen. da die weinkarte nicht aktuell gehalten wird. laut karte wurde uns ein wein „whispering angel 2021“ verkauft, doch als wir zuhause ankamen, stellten wir fest, dass die flasche jahrgang 2022 ist und woanders nicht mal 20€ kostet. bei den preisen kann man schon mehr detailliebe verlangen!

Super Essen, top Service, tolle Location

Das Negative vorab, für mich war die Menge des Essens zu wenig und die "Käseauswahl" als Dessert zu teuer, für die paar Stückchen. Jedoch war das Essen sehr lecker, hervorragend gewürzt und in sich harmonisch. Sehr zu empfehlen! Auch der Feigensenf (?) und das Früchtebrot haben mich sehr beeindruckt. Die Atmosphäre war sehr ansprechend und ruhig. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, wirklich nett und der Service war auf hohem Niveau.

Ok-ish… Für den Preis eigentlich nicht besonders

Der Service war 1A. Allerdings war das Essen für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt und hat nicht besonders geschmeckt! Der Hugo war lecker! Ich würde es wegen des Services nochmal besuchen kommen, aber nicht wegen dem Essen!

Speisen sind geschmacklich top und super zubereitet. Bei manchen Speisen ist das Stück Fleisch, Fisch oder die Beilage zu wenig für den angebotenen Preis.

Ottima brasserie, all’interno del bellissimo Sofitel, a pochi metri dalla principale stazione ferroviaria di Monaco. Menù invitante: veramente ottimo il trancio di orata con purè e carciofi.
