Excellent restaurant! I've been there several times already. On each visit the dinner was perfect, whether for the dishes or the wines. The food and wine are good mixes between France and Italy. I highly recommend!

The small restaurant offers modern French cuisine at a high culinary level. With great attention to detail, classic French dishes are given a modern interpretation, with the focus being on seasonal and fresh ingredients. The food and the wine combination are very refined and curated. I was there with my family including a kid, and even the non-alcoholic drinks were great. The staff is really nice and professional, the place cosy and the price is definitely worth. Our experience at Atelier Gourmet was perfect.

My wife asked for the bill herself; under no circumstances were we asked to leave the restaurant first. On the contrary: you personally tried to persuade us to eat the fish course. It's unclear to me what you mean by "f... y...". We left the restaurant voluntarily and peacefully of our own accord after requesting and paying the bill. That's why I'm surprised that you present this completely differently. The claim that we couldn't pinpoint the taste of mold to a specific food is also false. We have made it clear that we suspect the chanterelles. It is also very unpleasant for a guest to be cornered by the staff, especially you. You have repeatedly and unequivocally emphasized that what we are saying cannot be true. How can you happily eat three more courses under such circumstances? It seems very unlikely that two people independently imagine the taste of mold. It also doesn't make sense that the praise of other guests should serve as evidence that we are telling an untruth. We didn't ask for a particularly quiet table, but that was fine. The first course was good so far. The second course, “Variation of Chanterelles,” was questionable. It tasted like mold and I see my wife looking strange too. Before I could say anything, my wife said that the food tasted like mold. I then asked the waitress whether it could be that the course tasted like mold, perhaps because Camembert or something similar was used. She had to ask and came back with a bottle of oil for us to smell. The oil was definitely not the cause of the moldy taste. Afterwards the chef came to our table and asked if he should cook us something else. Probably meant nicely, but instead of eating more, we were more worried about getting food poisoning. Without comment, the next course was served to us, fish and mussels. My wife asked where the mussels came from and whether they were fresh. The staff then reacted incredibly rudely and said we were the only ones who had complained about mold, they had tried the food and there was definitely no mold. We had already lost our appetite, but from then on we really didn't feel like staying any longer. Our waitress told us “to pay and leave”. We paid and left. Disastrous management. With two glasses of wine on the house it would have been settled. Instead we are accused of lying. We completely understand if something moldy accidentally ends up on the table when the food is fresh. But the way it is handled here is just bad.

UPDATE Dear Ms. Correngia, Unfortunately, I have to say that the answer is just as unpleasant as the incident last night. We specifically pointed out that the chanterelles were moldy. I also immediately stopped eating my course. Instead of simply apologizing, you tried with all your might to prove to us that this couldn't be true because you prepare the mushrooms yourself. However, that doesn't change the fact that the mushrooms were moldy. Nobody apologized in this restaurant, on the contrary, it was suggested to us that our perception was wrong. Personally, I can understand that you didn't want to lose face in front of the employees and that's why you behaved like that. However, I can only attribute the further made-up stories to your hurt pride. The fact is that I asked for the bill out of concern about the third course of mussels and left. Cozy, quiet atmosphere, excellent service, fantastic food quality and composition of flavors, excellent wine variation, perhaps missing a Spanish wine

We had a wonderful evening at Atelier Gourmet. Everything just fit. The food was terrific, as was the service and the wine pairing. We will definitely come back, absolute recommendation!!!

We had a great evening at Atelier Gourmet! The food is prepared in a modern way, but is essentially French, high quality and very creatively composed. We particularly liked the play with sweetness and acidity. The wines served with the meal rounded off the whole thing in terms of taste. The service was courteous and very familiar. The fantastic price-performance ratio should also not go unmentioned. The Atelier Gourmet is certainly a little insider tip in the Munich restaurant scene and definitely worth a visit!

The atmosphere is nice and you can hold a normal conversation - it is not too noisy. The service is excellent and the food and wines are really something to try and enjoy withouth rush. The dishes are a variety of contrasts that you can enjoy with your friends or yourself. The price is according what you get, at least during my dinning experiences. As a suggestion I would recommend some clima (not ventilator) as the summer is hot and it will tend to be so.

Here you will find a unique symbiosis of excellent cuisine, supported by very good wines and crowned with unique hospitality. PERFECT PLEASURE!!!

Delightful family-run gourmet restaurant! Everything just fits! The courses are extremely delicate and tasty without seeming aloof. The whole evening is very relaxed, the courses are always served at exactly the right time, the wine accompaniment is original, and the service is very friendly and informative. You feel completely comfortable! I've been there 5 times now and it's always a pleasure.

It's a shame that you can't give more than 5 stars. The menu was excellent, the wine pairing was a revelation, and the service was extremely pleasant and attentive. The price is more than fair for the quality offered here. We would definitely like to come back

Unique restaurant with its own charm. The food is prepared in an unusual way and tastes even better than it looks. The wine accompaniment is of the highest level. The service is first class! You can feel that it is an owner-managed business. The employees know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it. Simply great! The price-performance ratio is great.

There again after two years and just as excited as the first time. Highly recommended if you want to spend a nice culinary evening.

Spent 4 wonderful hours with a friend, enjoying every bight of food every sip of wine , and the wonderful service. As last time I recommend to everyone who enjoys food and wine , if in Munich this restaurant is a must. A wonderful experience. The food was great and so was the service. Incredibly delicious and great, friendly, warm service. Even though we didn't know much about wine and fine dining, everything was explained to us professionally and personably. We will choose Atelier Gourmet again for future occasions :)

Food with rich favour and staffs with best service

Fantastic food with personal service in a cozy small room! We enjoyed a 5 course dinner for 2 people on a weekday night and it was a splendid experience. The food is extra-ordinary (the literal sense of the word), very interesting and different ingredients and overall well balanced tastes. The highlight definitely is the current extra starter they have (scallops on a buckwheat crêpe with kimchi mayo, sesame and basil - absolutely breathtaking). What I really liked was their flexibility, we could have 2 different starters and 2 different desserts! The service is supercute and personal, giving flexibility and pacing the meal nicely. They create a relaxed atmosphere but also lets the time fly by with their entertainment. Also the chef is so nice and approachable. The ambiance is the biggest area of opportunity, though it’s still very cosy, definitely professional and inviting: lots of tables for two and an overall small space make it intimate. However, it could use some more soft and warm lights and some color. The decoration on the tables is cute though, with different small fresh flowers on every table. Overall very recommendable and definitely a great price for what you get!

The starters and main courses in the current menu were very strong. Fish and meat were cooked to perfection (and I mean perfectly), only surpassed by excellent sauces. There were also exciting combinations with the side dishes, which were overall surprising and well-liked. Especially when you take into account the very fair price. I would have happily eaten three times as much of everything and I'm still thrilled. Only the cheese course wasn't entirely convincing; we would have preferred a small selection of good cheese. Some olive oil or butter with the bread would also have been nice. The roast beef would have liked a little more sauce, but only because it was so tasty ;) The starter was a bit doubled, the second variation of scallop with beetroot was not complementary, but actually a different dish. The wine accompaniment is fair, but rather one-dimensional - but it also had two highlights and the sommelier was really great. The non-alcoholic accompaniment was delicious, exclusively products from Peter Geiger. A little more variety would have been fun here, for example drinking vinegars, as there are otherwise quite a few sweet drinks. When it comes to the ambience, I can't understand the other reviewers. The restaurant is basically a small room that is very tightly packed with tables. They are also so small that the bread basket often peeks over the edge and the glasses shouldn't be too big. Well, there's not much space in Munich, but it's inexcusable that nothing is done to insulate the sound. Unfortunately it was VERY loud, you couldn't even hear the music and you could barely hear your partner. That's ok if you're only there for a short time, but you can easily sit here for 3-3.5 hours with 7 courses and in the end it was almost unbearable for me. The service also has to be highlighted positively. The timing was great, very friendly and a pleasant experience overall. The only surprise was that at the end no one asked how it tasted or whether I liked it - otherwise I would have passed on my comments personally. Overall, I would like to come back for the food and service, but unfortunately I won't unless the location changes. I think there are too many tables in this room - you have to at least install sound insulation on the ceiling and hang sound-absorbing pictures, there are many solutions. So it gives the impression that they're just trying to maximize sales, although that's contrary to the great quality that comes out of the kitchen and is obviously prepared with passion.

Wonderful place to eat with family i recommend

Very cozy and nice restaurant. The menu is really very varied and the matching wines are excellent. Service staff very friendly and accommodating! The only negative point was the timing. We were there at 6 p.m. and we had the last of the 7 courses at 8 to 11 p.m. - almost 5 hours for a 7 course menu is really too long for me personally. However, the price-performance ratio is really unbeatable and the quality is excellent.

Great French Restaurant with Good Food and Atmosphere.

Ich hatte spontan online für meinen Geburtstag reservieren wollen, aber leider war es ausgebucht, also hab ich die Warteliste ausprobiert und dann bekam ich tatsächlich einen Rückruf, dass noch ein Platz frei ist, wunderbar. Wir waren das erste mal im Atelier Gourmet und ich muss sagen, wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend und die Zeit verging viel zu schnell. Das schöne war auch, man konnte schön gemütlich seine 7 Gänge genießen, da kam keine Hetze auf, wie in so manch anderen Restaurants, wo man seine Gäste nach nichtmal 2h rauswirft, weil die nächste Reservierung kommt. Wir hatten die Gänge mit Weinbegleitung, die wundrerbar dazu passte. Die Speisen waren köstlich und sehr fein angerichtet, die Komponenten harmonierten wunderbar. Der Service arbeitete sehr professionell und freundlich Fragen wurden gekonnt beantwortet, die Speisen gut erklärt und den Preis für die gereichte Qualität kann man nach münchner Verhältnissen fast schon als günstig bezeichnen. Für uns war es ein perfekter Abend, vielen lieben Dank! Da kommen wir gerne wieder.

If for improvement I would think the last one bread with cheese the flavour can be better.. maybe change the sort of the bread. The parfait and glaces was yumm.

Meine Frau und ich waren gestern zum ersten Mal in diesen kleinen wunderbaren Restaurant. Man wurde super nett empfangen. Nachdem auswählen des Menüs (Anzahl der Gänge) wurde uns unser 7 Gänge Menü ( inklusive Weinbegleitung) auf Wunsch kurz erklärt weil wir uns überraschen lassen wollten. Kurz um, alle Gänge waren wirklich ein Traum, großes Lob an den Koch. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam und bei jedem Gang wurde uns ausführlich der Wein erklärt. Die Auswahl der Weine war für uns wirklich gelungen. Großes Lob auch an ,wie wir später erfahren haben, die Auszubildende die normalerweise in der Küche zu Hause ist aber bei unserem Besuch im Service tätig war....du hast das Klasse gemacht. Im großen und ganzen war das für uns ein wunderbarer Abend. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Perfektes Dinner Wir kommen gerne wieder

Delicious food with a variety of flavors and textures that were incredible, with good harmony between dishes and the drink pairings. We had the alcoholic and the non-alcoholic pairings, and were mostly impressed by these. We paid 250€ for two people, with their full 7 course meal. There are only 2 reasons for not giving 5 stars, 1st I found 2 rather big fish bones in one of the small filles, which at this price is not great. But the second major reason is that the 2nd to last dish left a bit to be desired, being simply a plate with 3 small pieces of unremarkable cheese and some pleasant candied fruits.

Un ristorante che se si viene a Monaco bisogna assolutamente andarci.locale piccolo e accogliente (prenotazione obbligatoria)dove a farne da padrona sono gli ottimi piatti e gli ottimi vini che accompagnano ogni piatto.un esplosione di sapori che fanno subito capire che le materie prime sono di primissima scelta.ottimi vini con una spiegazione su ognuno da parte della proprietaria molto preparata e simpatica. Lo chef con il suo staff fanno si che ogni piatto sia ben preparato e curato nei minimi particolari. Diciamo che è un ottimo posto per passare una bellissima serata. Seit ca 1 1/2 Jahrzehnten mein Lieblingsrestaurant, ab heute nicht mehr Positiv: Unfassbar gutes Essen - gehört zu den Besten d Richtig gute Weinbegleitung, die perfekt auf die Speisen passen. Wirklich super nette Bedienungen , v.a. Raffaela und Eugenia Angenehm familiärer Rahmen. Negativ: WC Situation : da könnte man bestimmt ein bisschen was verbessern…aber nicht schlimm Der Küchenchef…. Warum? Wir hatten ein sehr negatives , wenngleich auch sehr subjektives Erlebnis im Kontakt mit dem Küchenchef: was ist passiert? Seit fast 15 Jahren gehen wir hier hin. Seit dem unsere älteste Tochter 3 ist ( heute 8) auch mit Kindern. War immer super. Der Koch hat sich hier immer um ein Kindadäquates Essen gekümmert, die Kinder durften in die Küche, wir haben unseren Tisch immer bekommen… Jetzt waren wir auch seit 2 Jahren nicht mehr da, weil kaum in München. Nach kurzer netter Begrüßung kommt der Koch: „Sie haben für 4 Personen reserviert wir haben den Tisch freigehalten. Und jetzt kommen sie mit 2 Kindern! Wir kalkulieren mit Vollzahlern“ auf meine erstaunteErwiderung, dass das doch früher geklappt hätte und in Ordnung: „früher hatte ich auch dunkle und keine grauen Haare“ hat er genau so gesagt. Und in einem Tonfall, der weit entfernt von Interesse war:“ was soll ich denn jetzt machen?“ Man kann hierfür Verständnis haben, für mich ein NoGo, ist ein sehr gutes Essen eben nur ein Teil eines gelungenen Abend. Meine Stimmung war dahin. Man fühlte sich unerwünscht. Haben dann auch noch eine Vorspeise für die Kinder bekommen, die weder bestellt noch mit uns abgeklärt wurde. Klar kann sich das Restaurant dass bei der guten Küche leisten mich zu vergraulen, ich kann es mir aber auch durchaus leisten in andere Restaurants in Zukunft zu gehen. Auch hier findet man auf höchsten Niveau angenehmeres. Aber das würden andere vielleicht das anders beurteilen Tipp: zukünftig Adults only Konzept auf die HomePage! Wirklich so unglaublich schade!

Magnifique expérience culinaire à Munich! Je recommande chaleureusement

Sehr lecker, erfüllt mich immer wieder mit Begeisterung ...

Obwohl es das Restaurant in Haidhausen bereits seit 2005 gibt und ich stets kleine Lobesarien gehört habe, wie grossartig und empfehlenswert es sei, kam ich erst jetzt dazu, es zum Dîner zu besuchen. Bereits nach diesem einen Abend bin ich ein absoluter Fan! Die kreative Küche des französischen Chefs Philippe Bousquet ist grandios köstlich und in Kombination mit der Weinauswahl sowie dem herzlichen, ungekünstelten Charme der 'Hôtesse de la maison' Raffaella Correngia unschlagbar. Überhaupt präsentierte sich das gesamte Team total sympathisch. Beim aktuellen Menu (4 bis 7 Gänge) entschieden wir uns für eine 5-Gänge-Abfolge mit passender Weinbegleitung, die ich jedem Besucher ans Herz legen möchte. Ad hoc wüsste ich nicht welches Gericht mir am besten geschmeckt hat: der fein komponierte Oktopussalat, der korsische Adlerbarsch in Pistou-Fischsauce oder doch das Rinderfilet mit Tofu-Creme, geschmortem Pak Choi sowie einem Falafelnockerl on top? Wie auch immer - einfach reservieren (Montag - Freitag), hingehen & genießen. Merci bien encore une fois! 🇫🇷🥇

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Atelier Gourmet. Grandioses Essen, sehr gute Weinbegleitung und ein überaus herzlicher und aufmerksamer Service … und das mittlerweile seit 18 Jahren, -> Respekt!!!

The ambiance was amazing. It was a great experience to taste delicious savory. We took the 7 course menu and all of them were splendid with mixing of great flavors. Regarding service that was great and all the information on food & Wine were quiet insightful. It’s a must visit place if anyone like to taste amazing food in Munich.

What a magnificent experience. Chef Bousquet presented fresh and innovative courses that were beautiful to look at and a treat for the palate. Raffaella’s wine pairings were en pointe from the first sparkling down to the final wine Viscioli di Pergola which she graciously shared with us for home in Colorado USA. Our young waiter was attentive and gave us the inside scoop on every serving of our five course meal. The casual and intimate setting was a perfect way to end a magical trip to Munich.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Ein Menü im Atelier Gourmet ist ein echtes Erlebnis - köstliche und fabelhaft arrangierte Speisen, dazu eine außergewöhnlich tolle Weinbegleitung und ein herzlicher, sympathischer Service.

Sensationelles Essen. Tolles Konzept, dass man nur die Anzahl der Gänge wählt und es dann nur eine kleine Karte gibt, die alle drei Wochen wechselt. Sehr empfehlenswert!
