When I entered the restaurant there were three tables occupied, all of which had already had their food. The fish display looks appetizing. Ordering was difficult because the young man at the counter didn't speak a word of German. My special request to have lentils instead of fries was not possible, so I ordered them additionally. I paid straight away and nothing happened after that. After 30 minutes I received the lentil vegetables. After 40 minutes the fish with the fries. Luckily I had the lentils because the fries were only lukewarm. The fish was very good. The breading is so thick that you already have enough carbohydrates. The breading was super crispy. So I come to the somewhat strange verdict of 2 stars, because although the fish was very tasty, there was no service, a difficult ordering process, no option for a special request and lukewarm fries. And that with a waiting time of 40 minutes.

The food was excellent and the selection left nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the bouillabaisse for €7.60 (Wednesdays), which is a real treat with its flavor and taste. The main course – a trio of game fish with grilled vegetables – is also highly recommended. However, there are a few minor weaknesses: the soft drinks from the tap have too little carbonation, and unfortunately when I ordered another drink it didn't arrive. During a stay of 1.5 hours it remained with a Sinalco Zero - which is unfortunate. It would also be desirable to be able to put both cards (salmon smokehouse and sushi) on one bill. Conclusion: Excellent food in a northern German atmosphere, unfortunately with service that still has potential for improvement.

We waited almost 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food. Finally we asked the waiter when we could expect to be served. The young waiter informed us that the food had not yet been prepared as other guests who had arrived after us were given preferential treatment. Due to this situation we decided to leave the restaurant. The managing director then approached us and said that our behavior was not correct. He claimed the food would be ready in 10 minutes, but that didn't seem to be the case. The impression arose that they were simply trying to take advantage of the situation. If we had waited, we probably would have waited 30 to 60 minutes longer for the food. This experience was disappointing, especially the favoritism given to other guests who arrived later.

Just throw advertisements in mailboxes that say “ADVERTISING PROHIBITED”!!. The sign doesn't stick on the mailbox for decoration! I ask you not to send your flyers to my mailbox!

We were really looking forward to our visit to your restaurant and drove three hours to dine with you. Unfortunately, we discovered that our experience did not live up to expectations. The service was unfriendly. For example, my requests for a napkin and a toothpick were met with a rude comment and I was asked whether that was what I wanted or whether I wanted something else, even though there were only three guests present at the time. After I asked the waiter how I was supposed to open the crab, because you don't get to be a crab all the time, he threw the nutcracker on the table and ran away. In our opinion, polite and respectful interaction is one of the basic requirements for a successful catering experience. The food didn't quite suit our taste either, but that's of course subjective and a question of preference. However, what particularly disappointed us was the fact that we were billed incorrectly when paying. Although the amount was not large, something like this shouldn't happen and unfortunately we only noticed this after we got up.
