The name of the restaurant doesn't do what you expect from it. Charging is absolutely not recommended. Regardless of the fact that there is no service whatsoever, there is no point in eating here at all. The fish is absolutely tasteless. It doesn't taste like fresh fish either. Price-performance ratio is not right at all. Fish tastes like nothing. Regardless, the ambience is a cool indoor atmosphere. Terrible light. It's roughly comparable to a fast food restaurant. Glasses are already on the table in a place where you can give the glasses away. The cutlery served is also there. Owner doesn't do anything except stand behind the counter. What you normally expect when you want to go out for a good meal in the evening is that you can also have a good glass of wine with your fish. For me it's a self-image. But here you only get Fanta water, cola, apple juice. Terrible. You have to take everything out of the fridge yourself. There is a map in the front that you can look at. You also have to pay at the counter. Card payment is not accepted. Cash only. Terrible cold atmosphere. I've never eaten and left a store so quickly. But then you have to pay a total of €65 for two people for this meal. Doesn't fit at all with what you can expect for this money. The criticism of the restaurateur and the concept was rejected. There was only the answer here. I'm fine with the concept. It was also said that people would line up at the door on weekends. So the statement is clear. I don't care at all whether customers like it or not. If I compare this with other fish restaurants in Dortmund, then I can only say it's better to close the door and not serve any more customers

It is freshly and excellently prepared. The very nice owner comes from the fish-rich city of Nador (Morocco) and knows his work excellently. Only recommended!!

We came unplanned as a company of 7 people. There was only one unoccupied table, and there were, as I understood, previous reservations. I had dinner there with my family a few days ago. There is no greeting or reception, although it is seen that you have entered the store. There was also no farewell greeting. To eat: We decided on 2 plates for 2 people each. The salmon was good. Sea bream was okay, unfortunately very heavily seasoned with caraway. Shrimp tasted good. Anchovies were mushy and not crispy. Calamari didn't taste like anything and the breading was also soggy. Price ok, but not cheap either. Conclusion: The store has potential, but it's just missing that certain something. There is no heart and soul. Recommendation? Rather not.

We waited almost 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food. Finally we asked the waiter when we could expect to be served. The young waiter informed us that the food had not yet been prepared as other guests who had arrived after us were given preferential treatment. Due to this situation we decided to leave the restaurant. The managing director then approached us and said that our behavior was not correct. He claimed the food would be ready in 10 minutes, but that didn't seem to be the case. The impression arose that they were simply trying to take advantage of the situation. If we had waited, we probably would have waited 30 to 60 minutes longer for the food. This experience was disappointing, especially the favoritism given to other guests who arrived later.

Hello everyone We often go to the restaurant with our family. The potatoes and shrimps are "UFFF soo good", I have no idea why. Fish dishes are very tender and tasty. All in one, we love it. It is one of our top 3 restaurants where we often go. Of course you have to wait a bit until the food is ready, but it's worth it.

Bestellt hatte ich Seeteufel mit Beilagen (Kartoffelplätzchen und Salat). Der Seeteufel war ausgezeichnet zubereitet, sehr schmackhaft und natürlich frisch. Auch der Salat war sehr frisch und mit geschmackvollem Dressing. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Ach so, die Getränke kann bzw. muss man sich selbst aus dem Kühlschrank holen. Ein bisschen Bewegung schadet ja nie. Und schließlich ist ja auch der Fisch die Hauptperson in dieser Lokalität ...

No menu, ordering at the counter, self-service drinks. Has a bit of a canteen feel. If you order a fish platter, you have the problem that the dishes get cold too quickly. A heating plate under the fish plate would be helpful here. Otherwise the food was very tasty. No card payment possible.

Very tasty fish at a very reasonable price with good advice. Fish should be simple and fresh, the owner has implemented this optimally. North Sea could learn a lesson from this concept. What I found to be a disadvantage was the selection of drinks, which were also far too cheap. The side dishes were good and plentiful, but I would have liked to have been able to choose them myself and perhaps also choose the salad dressing individually. But overall the concept works and I have never seen anything like it in Germany.

We had a platter for 38 euros per kg. We then paid around €70 for 2 people, because 1 kilo sounds like a lot, but it's not enough. I hoped for more from the fish because it was only filled with a sprig of thyme. I expected more for the price, e.g. Garlic, tomatoes or something similar like I know from the Moroccan fish restaurants in Düsseldorf. The sauces also tasted like mayo. Unfortunately nothing homemade or special that I expect in a restaurant. All in all it was tasty, but doesn't match the quality or taste of other restaurants in Düsseldorf. The side salad was colorful and delicious. But I would also have liked a sauce, e.g. lemon olive oil or that I choose instead of ready-made balsamic vinegar. Oh yes, the waiter was very nice.

Ein absolutes Muss für Fischesser! Unkompliziert, super lecker, muss man ausprobieren unbedingt… ein Traum

Qualität des Essens ist wirklich super. Leider muss man abends viel Wartezeit mitbringen (1Std und mehr). Zudem war es sehr laut. Und leider sagt der Inhaber auch nichts gegen kreischende Kinder die den Laden als Spielplatz nutzen und unter anderen Tischen rumspringen. Und persönlich hat das ziemlich gestört.. wir genießen unser Essen gerne in einer "gewissen Ruhe".

Wir waren zu dritt zum ersten Mal dort essen. Man sucht sich sein Gericht an der Theke aus und nimmt sich selbst ein Getränk aus dem Kühlschrank. Das Essen wird dann zum Tisch gebracht und es war köstlich!!!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und werden sicher wiederkommen! Fischsuppe, Kabeljau, Pulpo und Fischplatte mit Garnelen, Calamari und Sardellen- alles sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Preis-Leistung stimmt, dazu beigetragen hat auch der superfreundliche Service.

Das Fischrestaurant mit großen Auswahl von frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchten werden hervorragend zubereitet. Die Gerichte sind geschmacklich einfach unschlagbar. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Dieses Restaurant ist definitiv eine Perle für Fischliebhaber.

Die Fischsuppe war unglaublich lecker und die gemischte Fischplatte erst! Fisch ist ja wie bekannt nicht günstig, aber es lohnt sich immer wieder hierher zukommen. Einer unserer Lieblingsrestaurants :)

Das Essen war lecker und frisch, man kann eine eigene Platte zusammenstellen, pro Kilo 35€ egal was man nimmt, die Beilagen wie Salat und Kartoffeln sind im Preis inbegriffen. Empfehlen kann ich die Calamris. Leider waren die Garnelen sehr schlecht zu schälen, wodran das lag kann ich nicht sagen da sie geschmacklich gut waren. Hab schon oft Garnelen gegessen welche leicht zu schälen waren. Das Ambiente ist okay, und der Service auch.

Moin, Sehr schönes Ambiente, Personal top. Eine gute und frische Auswahl an Fisch, der ansprechend präsentiert wird und Vorfreude schürt. Trotz des guten ersten Eindrucks war leider die "Fischsuppe" an sich lecker, doch diese stand höchstens neben dem Fisch. Leckere Suppe, zwar kein zweites mal doch eindeutig, einfach eine Currysuppe in die bissel Fisch reingeworfen wurde. Gruß eine Fischplatte wird auch mal getestet. Fischhaus ist von der Suppe viel viel besser, obwohl auch nicht das man erwartet, aber auch die Fischsuppe im La Locanda eher zu empfehlen.

Wow, klare Empfehlung!! Hier kommt jeder Fischliebhaber auf seine Kosten. Es ist alles dabei was das Herz begehrt und sehr liebevoll hergerichtete Teller. Es ist zudem möglich seinen eigenen Fischteller zusammen zu stellen, es wird dann über das Gewicht abgerechnet. Die Beilagen sind kross geröstete Kartoffelscheiben und ein Salat.

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ausgewogen Fisch gegessen. Die Auswahl ist groß, es schmeckt lecker und das Personal ist sehr nett. Der Chef kommt auch zum Tisch und frag nach dem Wohlbefinden. Auch ohne Wein schmeckt der Fisch gleich gut :)
