I can't comment on the ambiance, as we picked up a gyro skewer complete with a gyro machine. The meat was super delicious; the guests enjoyed it and praised it. The extra sauce was also very tasty. The owner was very friendly and helpful both before and during pickup. Highly recommended!

Our order, drinks, appetizers, and food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being packed. The food was delicious, everything tasted good, the atmosphere was very pleasant. We were there today with five people and ordered three different dishes. It took an hour from the time we took our order to the time the food arrived, even though not all the tables were occupied. Five minutes before our order, we were told the food would be here soon. The dishes were delicious, but the meat in all of them was only lukewarm. The service was very friendly!

We took gyros here for Saturday night. We were told, unfortunately, that these were the last two portions and might not taste as good. I will definitely be back. The gyros, tzatziki, and coleslaw were all incredibly delicious. I thought this honesty from a restaurateur in Germany deserves a top rating. The fact that they took into account the fact that we follow a ketogenic diet and were aware of it is also a plus. The food is really tasty and very fairly priced, the service and the owner are incredibly friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is cozy and I really have nothing to complain about. There were seven of us here for my birthday, the food arrived hot and at the same time for all of us, the table was already sweetly decorated and at the end there was not only a birthday surprise for me but also ouzo for everyone (including a non-alcoholic version for the drivers). I would be happy to come back again at any time, I really wish this restaurant every success!

Food came quickly and hot. A pork fillet skewer and Poseidon plate were ordered. Filet was tender and pink, the Poseidon plate was plentiful and flavorful. Everything tasted wonderful. The homemade coleslaw was also convincing. The atmosphere was cozy, other guests were also very friendly and you could have conversations. Toilets were clean. The restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area with plenty of parking. We'd love to come back and thank you for a lovely evening!

The fact that you have to pay extra for mayo and ketchup is more reminiscent of a snack and should be included in children's meals. Ambiance cozy. But the salads were very simple - too many onions, tired cucumbers. For hot dishes, a salad of one sauerkraut. It feels like they are skimping on products. No matter how crowded it is, you are always warmly welcomed at the Acropolis. We think the menu leaves nothing to be desired. It has been and remains our favorite restaurant for years. And our biggest thanks go to Renata, the owner. She organized the champagne reception at the registry office at our wedding almost two weeks ago as well as wonderful birthday celebrations in our family circle such as an 80th, 60th and 50th. Overall, the food was okay. Unfortunately, the time from ordering to eating was the longest wait I've ever had. Somehow there was a little frustration when the ordered dishes were served at the table. The waitress could at least let you know without asking that it would take over an hour. Instead, it wasn't perceived as too positive as we had to ask several times where the food was with hungry children at the table. We kept checking to see if the glasses were filled. So when it comes to prices, you could pay a little more attention to some of the details. Like a salt shaker, OIL or extra napkins at the table. After all, the menu has numerous dishes and something for everyone. Various options would also be possible. The restaurant is nice and the service is polite. With so much competition from restaurants, there are a few things that need to be taken into account.

We were there with 7 people. I celebrated my 66th birthday Even though there wasn't actually any appointment left, I still got in the way. I was very pleased. We were served very friendly. Ambience was very nice. The service was great. Price was ok too. Finally got a bottle of red wine. I can simply recommend it.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Acropolis Dortmund was marked by several disappointing aspects. Although the middle-class Greek restaurant with its typical columns and antique ambience was convincing from the outside, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired, especially in the case of the Musaka, there were too few eggplants and potatoes with too much meat. The children's schnitzel is smaller than a cigarette pack with fries and coleslaw and is way overpriced at €9.20. The rest of the dishes were okay. The disappointment was compounded by the lack of friendliness from the manager, who showed little hospitality. Being pointed out to a changing table while changing my grandchild's top and undershirt led to an awkward situation leaving the restaurant. The behavior of the manager and the conspicuous exchange of glances with regular guests made me feel unwelcome despite paying €115. The noise level of other guests was tolerable for him. The child simply disturbed him with his presence. A review of communication with guests and an urgent improvement in the quality of the food would be advisable for the management of the Akropolis Dortmund.

Ein sehr nettes Ambiente. Und man fühlt sich tatsächlich wie in Griechenland ein bisschen:) Der Service ist top, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Allgemeinen ist auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. Selbst für Menschen, die eine Behinderung haben und im Rollstuhl sitzen, gibt es anhand Rampe die Möglichkeit ins Restaurant zu kommen Und auch da sind die Mitarbeiter vom Service sehr freundlich und eilen zur Hilfe. Es gibt auch eine behinderten freundliche Toilette. Rundum kann man sagen, wenn man schön und lecker essen gehen möchte mit einem sehr freundlichen Service und einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente ob mit oder ohne Handicap ist man in diesem Restaurant sehr gut aufgehoben. Also ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch:) wenn es zehn Sterne zu vergeben gebe, ich würde es mit Sicherheit tun .

Klassisches Griechisches Essen von vorzüglicher Qualität. Toll gegrilltes Fleisch und schmackhafte Vorspeisen. Nichts extravagantes. Das Restaurant existiert aber schon mehrere Jahrzehnte an dieser Stelle was für sich spricht. Immer recht gut besucht. Absolut eine Empfehlung.

Wir halten seit ca. 15 Jahren einmal im Monat im Akropolis unseren Stammtisch ab und sind ausnahmslos immer sehr zufrieden.

Köstliche Speisen in großer Auswahl. Salate, Fleisch- und Fischgerichte, Desserts. Fleischlose Spezialitäten runden das Angebot ab. Aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, die sich um die Gäste individuell kümmern. Vom Kleinkind bis zum Senior wird jeder freundlich bedient. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einen schönen Wohngebiet in Hörde. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe vorhanden.
