It stinks and the staff don't understand German

The food is very good, but the staff lacks respect. I used to be a regular customer, but from today I will look for another restaurant. It's strange that I only asked about a few dishes. I apologize, but the waitress should try to respond to customers respectfully. Thank you very much.

The employee doesn't know the menu, and salad dressing costs an extra €1. I was harassed by two beggars within 30 minutes, and the employees didn't take any serious action. Only the second person was remotely warned that they were banned from the premises. At least being able to eat in peace would be nice, given the prices.

I had stomach pain and diarrhea for days afterward. It could have been a coincidence, of course, but I didn't eat anything else.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to do this one. I ate probably the worst fries of my life – cold, dry, old, and completely overpriced. It's criminal to give that to customers! Unfortunately, I was in a hurry, otherwise I would have insisted on getting something new. They're probably still speculating, since it's a walk-through store.

I bought a snack box. The fish tasted dried out, as it had obviously been sitting for a long time. The price of over €7 is unjustified. I'm extremely disappointed and won't buy it again.

Those on a tight time budget be warned; this branch has a "regular" snack counter and self-service vending machines. If you can't get down the stairs from the platform, it's counter-intuitive that you can order independently of the vending machines. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering from the vending machine. Two receipts were printed out, each with a pickup number in bold, for a burger I didn't order. When I asked the lady in preparation if she could simply refund me the difference, she went to her manager to resolve the issue. Ultimately, the process dragged on so long that we were forced to go to the platform without a snack.

This is the right place for a quick and enjoyable Nordsee experience. We were very pleased.

The staff was very friendly, but the food isn't recommended. Fries were rubbery, the mayo wasn't right. The fish burger didn't smell pleasant.

Shrimp and chips with Coke for just under €12. The fries weren't freshly prepared, but came from the warming compartment. The worst fries ever. The exact opposite of crispy: mushy and barely salted, but nice and greasy. And the fried shrimp were over-fried and completely flavorless. I'm not used to such lousy food from Nordsee.

My Mix Box didn't taste good: the fries were old and cold and the nuggets weren't fresh anymore.

I ordered Fish & Ships there today, a complete disaster, definitely never again...truly unbelievable.!!!?

If you want to buy a fish sandwich for on the go or for your train ride, it's usually not going to work. There are four staff members behind the counter, and a maximum of one person is served. It usually takes forever for the person in front of you to be served. Orders placed via the app for pickup are often forgotten and never make it into the on-site system.

Text: I'm truly stunned how someone could mess up such a simple order. I wanted Vöslauer water – on the far right in the refrigerated section. I was asked if I wanted still or sparkling water. I said still – if available. What did I get? Sparkling. The wrong brand, too. To quote my friends, I'm a water sommelier and I attach great importance to the correct water. If I'd gotten Gerolsteiner, I would have really escalated... When I then try to correct it, I'm fobbed off with a look that suggests I'd misspoken. Seriously? I mentioned the brand name, the exact location on the shelf, and even clarified what I wanted. Instead, a different product is brought out without comment – ​​and then the wrong one, from the wrong place, with the wrong label. As if that weren't enough, I'm then asked to pay another euro without being told. I seriously wonder how you work with customers when you lack a basic understanding of language, shelf orientation, and communication. If such simple tasks fail, what happens with more complex ones? Oh yes, and at the end, the condescending look – as if I were the problem. Wrong product, wrong price, wrong reaction. In any case, I know exactly where I won't be eating again. P.S.: The truffle baguette was surprisingly good – but that won't save the store.

I bought a large potato box earlier and was honestly a little disappointed with the service. Normally, you get two sauces with a large box – but this time I had to pay extra for the second sauce. Unfortunately, when I politely asked when this had been the case, the salesperson couldn't give me a clear answer. I repeated my question several times, but she didn't seem to understand it properly or genuinely didn't know – in total, I received no comprehensible answer five times. Since I was in a hurry and had to catch my train, I had no choice but to settle for just one sauce. It's a shame, because especially with a large portion, the sauces make up an important part of the flavor. I wish the staff were better trained – especially in dealing with customer questions and basics like portion sizes and included items. Perhaps a little refresher training would be appropriate here. Terminals broken.

Hello, I think the North Sea in Düsseldorf Central Station is very tasty. Service top staff top everything five stars

the worse nordsee I've ever been. I was in a hurry to catch the train and i ordered the menu salmon with drink, but the staff didn't put the drink in the bag. I paid for the full menu price, I want a refund. in addition, my husband bought shrimp potato large box for 6,49€, but in the ordering display, we cannot choose any potatoes, so only the shrimp options with two sauces. then I asked one of the staff if it is already with potatoes, as the name mentioned "shrimp potatoes large box", and he said yes. so we proceeded with the order. but when we got the item, we just got the shrimp. another staff who prepared our order said that we only ordered the regular shrimp box. then please don't write it in the ordering display as SHRIMP POTATOES BOX LARGE when I cannot even get the potatoes. that's misleading.

Cold fries and inedible. New deluxe burger absolutely poor quality and taste. You can say that they prepared the wrong order for me and they had to correct it quickly, which is why the burger was definitely so bad. Never go back. I'd rather go to Fritten Werk next door. They are 200 times better than here.

Before was better . FOOD takes to Long to be served. I took the Menu with Fish and Sauce and Pommes. After I eat the Pommes they come to my table to say to pay more 3 Euro .

Good shop to just grab something on hand, like a fried fish baguette and a shrimp skewer. However, it is not possible to take the baguettes without sauce at the ordering terminal, for example, which is why you then have to go to the counter.

Compared to the situation a few years ago, the branch has at least visually improved and adapted to the station situation.

Yesterday I ordered matjes with fried potatoes there. The fish was good, the fried potatoes were soggy and brown, had probably been lying around for a long time, and were simply inedible. Due to my complaint, the side dish was replaced immediately, but the fries were also not edible because they tasted like old frying fat. I then left the food and ate somewhere else. Price: 10.79 euros. Overall, the interior gave a very unhygienic, unkempt impression. I got freshly prepared food at the Asian restaurant across the street for less money. It wasn't the first negative experience with the North Sea, but it was certainly the last for me.

Just a question, why do you only get drinks in the Lieferando app at Nordsee, or can you only order drinks?

I ordered Groß Fish & Chips, they gave me 3 pieces of fish for 7 €, robbery, and the place is very dirty.

Well, the fish baguette wasn't bad, but the service is absolutely the worst I've experienced so far. After an endless wait, an ice-cold baguette was handed to me, no trace of sauce. The waitress was in a bad mood, you could see that. I then got in line again and after another long wait I asked the lady if she could please warm up the fish for me again. The woman gave me a reproachful look and then said that they didn't have a microwave and she would have to do it again. THE AUNT ACTUALLY THROWN THE COLD BREAD INTO THE TRASH! Can you believe it? And then she said it was my fault. I then asked for remoulade sauce and then she stubbornly slapped some on me, the grumpy fish thrower. If I had read the reviews in advance, I probably wouldn't have gone.

Cold fries, lukewarm fish, dismal snack bar.

For just under 18 euros I expected at least one hot fish. Unfriendly staff who also insult guests. No heating (super cold!), bad food (the best was the pre-made Sylt sauce) and then the price. I'm disappointed with the North Sea - that used to be better.

One star for the functioning order terminal. Food disastrous. Everything is cold, there are no less than 3 shrimp tails in the shrimp box, seriously? Ordered to eat on site, got take away. Do yourself a favor and satisfy your hunger somewhere else.

The Bremer sandwich I ordered has nothing to do with the sandwich that has bread. They might have run out of bread, in which case they should ask me. Instead of wrapping it up and giving it away in secret.

Got a new mixbox with a lot of discussions and was asked not to come anymore, what kind of service is that! As a rail operator, I know several branches. French fries cold, extra mayo too expensive and rolls old.

I tried their pasta menu which is served with a drink. Was fantastic. Pasta with salmon fish. At first I wasn't sure about the taste but after eating I have to say it was way too good. Although I had to wait for a few moments as they said they always make pasta after ordering. It was a good experience with a beautifully decorated atmosphere. Staff was nice and I look forward to going again.

Rude staff, instead of helping customers, they make fun of those who pay. Portion was cold and particularly small, and I didn't even order a children's plate. Before the renovation, I felt more comfortable and treated more fairly here. Now it is explained why North Sea is generating less and less income. It's a real shame because I enjoyed eating at Nordsee.

Very good place to eat something during train transfers. Sandwiches based on fish, of very good quality, fresh and tasty. It has self-service totems that make shopping easier when there are many people.

I regretted not adding extra fish into my sandwich. Soused herring (matjes) was delicious and fresh. Almost all tables were dirty with lots of trash on them.

Looks nice but they're really cheeky. I go there and order a Bismarck roll. It looks ok with 2 fillets on it. He says 5 euros, I give him 5 euros. Then after I paid, the employee noticed that there were 2 fillets on it. He said he had to down one, which he did and gave me the roll with a small fillet. The bun was then only half filled. I'll never go to North Sea and pay for half my fish sandwich again. But the employees were actually quite nice. But it was still a bad experience :(

Today, in addition to the fish roll, I also bought a small box of potato wedges....Unfortunately the box was only half full....very few potato wedges....The price-performance ratio is not right and I think that's a shame.

Modern branch with an order terminal at the entrance, which also works great. That's it for the positive. The food we ordered was a disaster, the fried potatoes were cold and soaked in fat. The plaice is lukewarm and also full of fat. When I complained I was told "It's already a long time coming". The garlic sauce was the highlight, unfortunately carelessly slapped onto the plate and not in the bowl. The Hollandaise salmon tasted ok, but the sauce was flaky. Only my daughter was happy with the “grilled salmon”. Staff unfriendly and rude. My wife wanted to have the shrimp box that was on the plate as a "box" to take away, as it was ordered, the lady at the counter simply poured the plate into the bag and considered her job to be done. Conclusion no thanks, all this for 75 euros??? Absolutely underground in every way

Catastrophe. I was there at around 9 p.m. and ordered the new veggie Backvisch rolls. About 5 minutes after ordering I was told they were sold out, but now I'm just getting real fish. (It wasn't even formulated as a question) - So you don't even understand why you order vegetarian dishes... Of course I declined and then the staff said it would take 5 minutes. I was unsure whether it would take 5 minutes to get my money back or whether I would still get the apparently sold-out item. I then got something cold that I didn't know whether it was really vegetarian or not. Throwing it away was out of the question for me. Pretty disturbing experience. Not recommended for vegetarians.

The worst branch I've ever seen. They simply add €6 to the dishes and the food looks so scary that you will definitely get food poisoning. The employees are unfriendly and unmotivated. I definitely give this branch a wide berth. Just disgusting.

Underground! The fish sandwich was extremely cold. You can only taste the tartar sauce, the bun was rubbery. Service had no sound, so it didn't take place. You were allowed to sit down, which was positive.

Rooms are no longer beautiful, impersonal. Matjesbrötchen is now called Matjes Baguette and comes with a fillet, for €5.29 you want to have two fillets like before, it's called the Big and costs +€1.5 The bun from before was replaced by a cheap strand bun. Virtually doubling the price while reducing the quality. Also incredibly slow. Some customers disappeared from the queue at some point - after all, you usually want to get a train. I'll find an alternative next time.

The lady today, May 10th, 2024 at 9 p.m. was very rude. I got half portions to take away, there were banished leftovers and mixed things that I didn't even order. She just left a bag there for me. Instead of putting my food in the bag for the customer like normal with others. She can vent her bad mood elsewhere. I used to enjoy eating here, but unfortunately that will now change.

Good day, I visited Konrad-Adenauer-Platz 14 Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, 40210 Düsseldorf with my children on April 8th, 2024 in North Sea. We ordered from you and sat down with our order, we didn't even start to eat then a homeless man came in and attacked me for no reason and my baby spit on me, Your employees didn't help me. Fortunately, people helped me and the police were on site. I had to go to the hospital with my children. Unfortunately, I don't have a receipt and I wasn't even offered my money back. I ordered from an older gentleman - I know the branch manager is the boss there. How can something like this happen to me in your restaurant? just because you want to save money and don't want to hire security there? McDonalds opposite has security! How can something like this happen to me in your restaurant?

Before the renovation, attractive location and good food and super nice conditions. Now a new ambience, order columns, nice staff, but the selection and quality of the food has decreased significantly. The fish breading was rubbery and not edible, the fried potatoes were soggy and bitter, only the shrimp and fish nuggets were tasty and crispy.

By far the worst North Sea restaurant I have ever visited! I'm actually a big fan of this chain because the food is basically always very good and, in my opinion, represents good value for money. But that's all I can praise about Düsseldorf's main station. The service here has been completely digitized (which is part of it these days and is up-to-date). But when I, as a paying guest, entered my order completely at the terminal (here's another big point of criticism: I didn't want any sauce with my fish, but the terminal didn't accept this and wouldn't have taken me further in the ordering menu without a choice of sauces) and paid in cash If I have confirmed this, I don't expect to be attacked by the restaurant staff, I would be wrong. I was then “kindly” pointed out that payment was made at a different cash register along with the food being picked up, which can seem misleading if you don’t know your way around and nothing of the sort is signposted. Transparency is different, dear North Sea team! At the other checkout, after showing the receipt (after waiting half an eternity for it to continue) I was greeted with the friendly note that I still had to pay. As if the reason for my waiting had been completely different... After I finally got around to eating (and, as I said, it tasted as expected), all I could ultimately say was that I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Svetlana is very, very slow, disinterested and unfriendly! I placed my order, was alone at the counter and she made rolls in between and cleared things back and forth.... Placed the order until I had it in my hand, 10 minutes!!!!!! Only had a large box of shrimp!

Baked fish rolls and rolls with Bismarck herring bought for €4.79 each. Expected quality and taste for the price. Rolls themselves seemed old and stuffy!!! Very disappointing.

The food at Nordsee in Dusseldorf was okay, suitable for a quick snack or meal. Received 5 prawns for almost 7 euro. Additionally, the customer service provided by Daniel was not very friendly. While the food may suffice for a quick bite, the overall experience could be improved with better service.

Google once again has something against honest reviews, so again: Prices go up but quality goes down. Meanwhile only half a lettuce leaf on the baguette including many bones. I won't waste any more money with you. €4.79 for something like that is a bad joke. Apparently you can only expect the worst quality here. If it happened every now and then you could understand it, but this lousy quality seems to be standard now.
