The food is delicious, fresh ingredients. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants.

Why do some people criticize the ambiance here? I think those who do haven't been to Berlin yet? So (without judgment) something Berlin-like. The food is great! Everything else is too. :)

It was livelier in the morning. We didn't like our last visit. I would like to pay with a card and cash is required.

There were 6 of us adults. 1 had unsalted fish, 3 had salted fish. We ordered cava, but the waiter twice brought the wrong cava, and then he persistently persuaded us to have a drink, which is why we refused. The wine was tasteless. A big plus – the pianist was wonderful.

Nice ambiance. We went there for dinner with five people and had a variety of dishes (fish). All the dishes were mediocre in quality, and the portions were small. The prices were not reasonable; in fact, they were far too high. Despite the small number of guests, the service was inattentive and unfriendly. We see no reason to return.

I celebrated my anniversary in this very cozy restaurant, and it was simply fantastic. The service and quality of the food were of the highest standard – every dish was a delight and perfectly prepared. Both my guests and I were extremely satisfied and had an unforgettable evening. I would especially like to mention the restaurant's chef, whose attentiveness and sensitive understanding of his guests' wishes are exceptional. I would like to thank the entire team for this wonderful evening and wish them much success and all the best for the future!

Unfortunately, there are always differences between online prices and the current menu. This is the third time this has happened to us in 3 years. Otherwise the food is great and the service is friendly.

Delicious fish restaurant. We haven't tried any other dishes there yet. But the fish is always delicious, as are the jacket potatoes, vegetables, and salad. The wine was also good. The ambiance isn't elegant, but rather unusual. It's by the park. You can also sit outside. Service is good. The value for money is good, as the fish dishes are always top-notch. We'd happily go back.

Positive: The food is delicious. The location is comfortable. Negative: Everything took a very long time. The staff was overwhelmed; we had to ask several times if we could order something. The same goes for clearing up; everything took a very long time. Note: Business lunches are only available without an invoice, which they don't offer. Even after repeated follow-up emails, there was no response and no invoice. Just good food doesn't make for a pleasant evening, and since the prices are also rather high, we unfortunately won't be going back.

We're still sitting at Emmafisch. It was a good recommendation from a friend. We love places like this. If you like thinking about your vacation and the food, then go there. Spain meets Düsseldorf. I had the starter of pinchos morunos and boquerones ala fritos, both 100% recommended. The paella was a good 95% recommended. That was enough to fill you up. Now for an espresso and crème brûlée. Everything was perfect. It's a shame the restaurant is being demolished. So, people, come on by. It's worth it. The atmosphere is simply fantastic.

I came across this place by word of mouth. I went there at short notice. It's actually a warehouse, but nicely decorated inside and out. The starter and main course were excellent. There's more than just fish; meat eaters aren't left out, and vegans/vegetarians (not in a negative sense) also find something to their liking. I tried it once, and it won't be the last time I eat there. This is my personal opinion, and as we all know, tastes differ.

The two of us shared the grilled prawns and other tapas. The prawns were delicious and highly recommended. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a lovely evening in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food.

We came from Odessa. It's a city in Ukraine. First of all, we want to invite you to our city. When the war is over, we want to show you what service means. Service with a capital letter. When you sit down at the table, your hands aren't sticking to the table, the cutlery isn't dirty. And if the waiter annoys you, you shouldn't have changed seats, you'll be billed at another table. And why we moved or what for, they don't care. How did we like it? Will we come back? What did we like or dislike? We ordered paella for two people. The portion is large, but... how can you ruin seafood? You can't just cook it... Tasteless. Simply bland... Usually, in restaurants, you want to relax, eat good food, sit longer, and enjoy the atmosphere. Here we ate and left quickly. Once again, we were convinced that service in Europe is terrible.

We only ate asparagus soup, which tasted delicious, and drank beer. The prices are a bit high, in my opinion.

We went there recently because we heard good things about it, but were unfortunately disappointed. There were some very bad reviews, but I wouldn't have thought I'd add another one myself :( We sat outside, and everything started out great (except for the broken table we were initially seated at). Drinks and bread arrived relatively quickly, but that was it, unfortunately. We asked our waiter if they were serving swordfish steak today, and he confirmed our question. When we then tried to order, the same waiter said they weren't serving it today. Unfortunately, he couldn't answer questions about the food, such as what kind of seafood was in the seafood pasta or what kind of fish was in the mixed fish platter. We ordered three starters and each a main course. After a while, not only we but also the other colleagues wondered where our food was. Several times, other staff members asked us if we wanted to order or if we had already received bread. To which we replied that we'd been waiting for our starters for some time, but unfortunately, no one cared about when or if the food would be served. After about 45 minutes, our The waiter asked us again what we had ordered... He had apparently forgotten to order the appetizers. After more than an hour, we did get our appetizers, but unfortunately, they weren't the right ones. When we noted the incorrect appetizer order, the waiter asked us again for our appetizer and main course orders. Apparently, they had forgotten our table (which can happen, of course). So we paid for our appetizers and left. Unfortunately, our table wasn't the only one dissatisfied with the service that day. It's a shame, the appetizers were delicious, and the staff were actually accommodating when we expressed our dissatisfaction. Perhaps we were just unlucky with the waiter, had a bad day, or were seated in the wrong area. Perhaps we'll come back another time and give the place another chance :)

Yesterday's buffet was disastrous...I was very disappointed, and after 30 minutes, the food was gone (the leftovers from two containers were transferred to one; fish? Hidden gem in Düsseldorf, a bit hidden but absolutely worth a visit. Spacious outdoor area, great in summer but also lovely and stylish inside with a great atmosphere. The food was very solid, great menu with a balanced selection. Extensive wine list that is also impressive. Price/performance/quality is actually very good. Service friendly and on point. Parking directly on site. We had a surprisingly good evening and would love to come back

Could recommend to each fish & wine lover. It is in a hall but decorated with love and create this Mediterranean market atmosphere. So space that you forget you are in quite center of Düsseldorf. I guess we will be back quite often to try various dishes.

Nice staff, good food and only prices in the middle segment

The food was okay. The portion is small and the taste is good. There is better for a cheaper price. The tapas looked better than the main courses. There is a tapas buffet on Thursdays. However for 39 per person. That was too expensive for us. What really annoyed us was the service. We were able to order the food relatively quickly but we had to wait almost 1.5 hours. We almost wanted to leave. We can't really recommend it.

Hidden in a backyard that doesn't suggest a restaurant this nice. The food and the ambience were to die for. Although I'm not an enthusiastic fish eater, the menu with the good explanations of the individual fish really inspired me to finally eat fish. My choice was a Loup de Mar, which had a not-so-fishy taste, just as described on the menu. I really liked the atmosphere in what was probably a former warehouse. So definitely not my last visit this year.

We came here for the first time as part of a Groupon voucher we purchased. Nice, attractive location, but pretty cool in winter. However, at our request, the patio heater was turned on. The dishes were all visually fantastic, we had bread with aioli and a tapas mix beforehand and paella afterwards. The tapas mix was delicious, the paella was plentiful but lacked spice for our taste. We know it a little differently from Spain. The waiter was a bit bristly, not really rude, but you didn't really feel welcome either. Later there was live piano music, very nice. I fluctuate between three and four stars, but give it four because there is definitely a lot of potential and we still had a nice evening.

For the main course we had a paella special (with a Groupon voucher). The paella was more than enough for 2 people, had enough seafood and meat and we really enjoyed it. Maybe a little too salty, but that's a matter of taste. Overall reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back!

I know it better. But again, it's all a matter of taste. But in the end, the waiter pretty much completely ruined my entire evening. We wanted to pay by card and signaled it. The waiter then tells me that I have to go to the front to pay by card. Which is not unusual. I know this from some stores. But at the same time he goes to another table and collects money with the device. While I'm standing at the front and I'm beyond confused. So I sit down again and feel bullied. My husband calls the waiter again. He comes with the device and calls someone else to collect from us. There was no apology. It seems to be common practice. So, thanks for nothing. We won't come again.

We had a wonderful evening at Emmafisch! The prawns were perfectly prepared – fresh, tasty and seasoned to perfection. A real highlight! Special praise goes to Jemal, who served us in a very friendly manner. He was attentive, good-humoured and always had a smile on his face. What's particularly nice is that the restaurant is very child-friendly! Our little one felt comfortable and that makes all the difference. We will definitely be back – great food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. Absolute recommendation!

We discovered this restaurant through Groupon, where they offer a €52 coupon for only €32.99, which includes Dorade fish with potatoes and grilled vegetables for two. The restaurant is easily accessible by tram and is surprisingly spacious, featuring a high ceiling that allows plenty of natural light—perfect for hosting company gatherings or wedding events. The decor is nicely done, creating a pleasant atmosphere. When we arrived, there were only one or two occupied tables, so it was relatively quiet. The fish was fresh, deboned, and cooked to order, making for a delicious meal. I will definitely visit again! Note: They only accept cash—at least in our experience.

Special atmosphere. Delicious food. Good wine. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, our starters were lost, but ultimately it wasn't a tragedy and we only noticed it when the main course had already been served.

Overall a good spanish Restaurant with cosy atmosphere. Tapas were all very good. Main courses were good, but if you compare Paella, with the ones in Spain, my expectation was higher. Dorade Filet might have a bigger portion and better side dish than just steamed vegetables. Besides I think they need more than one service personal, whereas there were at least 10 tables occupied by groups of guests. But after all we left the restaurant happy with our meals.

Unfortunately totally over salted - both the fish and the vegetables. It was also uncomfortably cold in the hall. The radiant heaters warm your back and head, the rest stays cold.

The food is okay, but a few dishes are a bit disappointing, for example: the pasta dishes. Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is quite nice. Outside, however, you only have a view of the parking lot.

Went with my family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We ordered mussels and a fish plate for two. The mussels were small, the fish plate cost 56 € and there was only white fish, as it turned out, of different varieties, but honestly, the taste was the same, and two shrimp on top, there were some vegetables from potatoes and one piece of eggplant...there were people at 15:00 there wasn’t and that’s probably why the waitress was always sitting next to us. I would hardly come here a second time. The wine and beer were delicious, the atmosphere of the place was very interesting, I liked the paintings hanging everywhere.

Emmafisch was simply delicious! Went there to celebrate with the family and it was a great experience! We escaped the chaos of downtown and walked into a peaceful, open and pleasant hangar filled with plants and good vibes! I had the Monkfish, chefs kiss on point with super friendly and customer service!

The skewers with different types of fish were good, but unfortunately they all had a uniform taste due to the similar preparation and sauce. The side dishes were few and a bit wobbly. Still a great location with a lot of charm. . . will definitely go there again.
