Tanger Seafood in Bonn

When I entered the restaurant there were three tables occupied, all of which had already had their food. The fish display looks appetizing. Ordering was difficult because the young man at the counter didn't speak a word of German. My special request to have lentils instead of fries was not possible, so I ordered them additionally. I paid straight away and nothing happened after that. After 30 minutes I received the lentil vegetables. After 40 minutes the fish with the fries. Luckily I had the lentils because the fries were only lukewarm. The fish was very good. The breading is so thick that you already have enough carbohydrates. The breading was super crispy. So I come to the somewhat strange verdict of 2 stars, because although the fish was very tasty, there was no service, a difficult ordering process, no option for a special request and lukewarm fries. And that with a waiting time of 40 minutes.

First of all I'll start with the ambience. Good parking option directly in front of the restaurant. Very dirty parking spaces. The restaurant is a bit old as well as the facilities. You would have to choose your own food at the refrigerated counter. Unfortunately we weren't offered any drinks; we had to get the drinks ourselves from the fridge at the counter. The toilet is very rustic and in need of renovation. Now to eat. We were given a starter of fresh bread as well as two delicious sauces and olives. The main course (fish platter) came to the table relatively quickly. Very fresh products, excellently prepared and served. The food itself was very good. Unfortunately, the salad we ordered was completely forgotten. Conclusion: Very tasty fresh cuisine that convinced me. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant.

Super delicious food!! The couscous on Friday is simply brilliant and absolutely recommended!!! The Tajin with lamb and fries was also absolutely brilliant Very authentic and the chef speaks fluent Spanish as well as Arabic and is very nice!!

I had the pleasure of visiting a seafood restaurant in Bonn recently and I loved it! As soon as I entered the restaurant, I immediately noticed that there was absolutely no unpleasant smell of fish - a clear sign of fresh produce and excellent ventilation. This is a huge plus because unfortunately this is often a problem in many fish restaurants. The menu offered a wide selection of fish dishes that were not only excellently prepared, but also tasted of the highest quality. What particularly stands out is the freshness of the fish, which you could feel with every bite. Whether grilled or fried – every dish was a pleasure. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. The portions were generous and the prices were fair, especially given the high quality of the food. Overall, this fish restaurant in Bonn is a real highlight and a clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates fresh fish in a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

I was very disappointed in the restaurant today. I bought two water bottles which cost €2.50 each, so a total of €5. I gave the lady €6 and expected €1 in change. Unfortunately I was instead told that I had only paid €5. When I wanted to clarify the situation and reconfirmed that I had paid €6, I was met with rudeness and disbelief. I find this reaction extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Every customer should be treated fairly and respectfully, especially when it comes to such a small but important matter.

The places are comfortable. A lot of time and effort was invested in setting it up. Summary ------------- A shop that impresses with its specialty! I leave the Tanger Seafood dining experience positive. :) The boss is Spanish and very personable.

Large fresh fish selection. You can choose any number of fish species for €25 a kilo and a plate will be created individually. Side dishes such as salad, rice or potatoes are included. Waiters were nice, accommodating and very polite. We waited about 10 minutes which is really quick for grilled fish. Plate was nicely prepared. Cooking was on point, perfectly seasoned and. There was tea on the house which was also very tasty. According to the owner, this is the only fish restaurant in the area.

As a regular fish eater, I was a bit disappointed with the food. Fries were fried too brown and too greasy, they had not been drained. Several salmon steaks were sent back because they were undercooked. Once cooked, it was soaked with oil, which left a large oil bath, too greasy a bite of oil, so I left it alone, even though I always empty my plate. Victoria perch was battered and fried (just like kibling is done), something I have never seen in all the fish restaurants where I have eaten Victoria perch. You should grill such expensive fish. Fried Calamar was also slightly greasy (not drained either), but perfectly cooked. Their bread was delicious, perfectly grilled bread slices, not dry, brilliant! Starters were not fresh. Fish soup was tasty, good atmosphere, and we got delicious tea from the company.

We ate there, 2 adults and 2 small children, the choice was soups, tagine and of course fish, large selection at the fish counter, choose and have it served. The food tasted very tasty, we had the Harira soup and the fish platter, served with homemade bread and olives. Already recommended in the family, bon appetit😋

Unfortunately a big disappointment on the second visit. Incredibly long waiting time. The cutlery for eating is missing. The tea never arrived. The service is anything but friendly. We won't go there again.

Everything is just right here and there is even parking in front of the door. I had a fish platter prepared to take away and it came with sauce, olives and plenty of bread. The fish tasted delicious and so did the side dishes.

Yesterday we visited the recently opened restaurant “Tanger Seafood” in Bonn-Tannenbusch. The restaurant makes a clean impression, the furniture is simple, chairs and benches are softly upholstered. The highlight of the restaurant is the fresh fish counter, which is stocked with a large selection of seafood: sea bream, mackerel, salmon, squid, shrimp, sardinia, oysters, tuna, swordfish and much more - everything is available. Here the guest chooses “his own seafood”, which is freshly prepared for him in the kitchen. You currently pay €29.90 per kilo of fish including fresh bread, tomato dip and garlic cream (very tasty). In addition, various side dishes such as vegetables, fried potatoes or potato salad are offered. But non-fish eaters will also get their money's worth at Tanger Seafood. Köfte, chicken and merguez dishes, various salads and soups are available for you. We really liked it at Tanger Seafood and everything tasted good. We received friendly advice and service and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful experience in the restaurant. As soon as we entered, we were amazed by the nostalgic decoration and the welcoming atmosphere that immediately transported us to Morocco. The small boards with greetings in both Arabic and German particularly appealed to us and made us immediately feel welcome. The friendly welcome from the waiter and the prompt taking of our order made our visit perfect. The mixed fish plate, the chicken sandwich and the chicken tagine tasted excellent and were served quickly. We were particularly impressed by the diverse selection of drinks, as we appreciate having alternatives to the products of large corporations such as Coca Cola. Thank you for this great gastronomic experience. We are looking forward to eating there again soon 😊

Erstaunlich wenig los für das gute Essen.

Der ausgewählte Fisch schmeckte vorzüglich durch eine perfekte Kräuterbutterwürzung (?), kwer Knoblauch mag... dazu Oliven, Aioli, Tomatendip und Ciabatta im Preis des Fischgerichtes enthalten. Separate Beilagen sehr reichlich. Eine Bereicherung für Bonn!

Dieses marokkanische Fischrestaurant ist einfach fantastisch! Die Gerichte sind super lecker, mit frischen Aromen und tollen Gewürzen. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Atmosphäre gemütlich. Klare Empfehlung!

Mein Mann und ich wollten eigentlich wo anders was essen gehen, als wir beim vorbei fahren das Restaurant gesehen haben und einfach mal gehalten haben. Hatten uns eine Fischplatte zusammengestellt, mit nem Salat und Pommes als Beilage. Der Fisch (jeder) war wirklich lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet! Dafür werden wir das Restaurant sicher mal wieder besuchen.

Authentische marokkanische Küche. Interessantes Konzept, bei dem man sich seinen Fischteller individuell an der Frischtheke selbst zusammenstellt. Sehr günstig. Frisch und Lecker.

Das Essen war so lecker. Leider hat es etwas länger gedauert m. Die Fischplatte ist super gut.

Wir hätten von außen null damit gerechnet, aber es ist wirklich frischer, sehr sehr gut zubereiteter Fisch für einen sehr anständigen Preis. Mein Mann hatte ein Baguette mit marokkanisch gewürzten Hähnchen und war ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Ambiente hat auch gepasst und der Service war ebenfalls super, wir kommen wieder!

Es ist besser als Fantastisch, alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit, alle sehr lieb und freundlich. Die Fischplatte ist einfach ein Traum und der Tee ist nicht mit Worten auszudrücken. Wir haben eine Anfahrt von 500km und das nächste Mal wenn wir wieder im Lande sind, wird unser Weg auch wieder zu diesem Restaurant führen.
