Inci Fisch&Grill Restaurant am Rhein in Köln

We were really looking forward to our visit to your restaurant and drove three hours to dine with you. Unfortunately, we discovered that our experience did not live up to expectations. The service was unfriendly. For example, my requests for a napkin and a toothpick were met with a rude comment and I was asked whether that was what I wanted or whether I wanted something else, even though there were only three guests present at the time. After I asked the waiter how I was supposed to open the crab, because you don't get to be a crab all the time, he threw the nutcracker on the table and ran away. In our opinion, polite and respectful interaction is one of the basic requirements for a successful catering experience. The food didn't quite suit our taste either, but that's of course subjective and a question of preference. However, what particularly disappointed us was the fact that we were billed incorrectly when paying. Although the amount was not large, something like this shouldn't happen and unfortunately we only noticed this after we got up.

I can't understand the hype. The prices are extremely high, but it's not worth it at all. It's definitely not seafood boil, the sauce you get with it doesn't fit at all. No eggs, no corn, no sausage, almost only shrimp. You should find out more about what a seafood boil contains. The shrimp weren't even cleaned properly. Once and never again. At least the staff was nice. Best regards.

We ate at Inci today and can absolutely recommend it. The shrimp and the boils are super tasty. The restaurant looks great and the service is super nice.

I absolutely can't understand the hype. The bowl for a whopping €40 had 7 frozen shrimps in it and not good quality, some frills, 1 potato and a quarter of a corn cob. Nothing worth €7. The fish plate was horror 2 fish (sea bass 1/2 and another breaded fish were bad and just tasted spoiled. A small piece of aquaculture salmon and 2 Sardinia Zack 34€. You are also harassed at the entrance. You have a maximum of an hour the table then disappears. Mass processing will not last forever. CONCLUSION: PRICE-PERFORMANCE RATIO POOR IN THE FISH PLATE, TWO FISH WERE BAD SEA BASS AND ONE BREADED FISH. The bowl is a pure rip-off. For us it was the first and definitely the last time in this restaurant.

My partner and I ate there today at my request. Instagram didn't lie. The portions are huge and taste super delicious. The seafood is actually poured onto the plate in a bag or scoop. You get gloves and a bib to eat with.. just cool.. There is no alcohol - I don't think that's a bad thing. Great store.

The atmosphere is not exactly restaurant-like BUT great service (all employees) and the food is by far the best see food around. In addition, an appropriate price/performance ratio. Everyone will find something here and thanks to various "All You Can Eat" offers, even the best eater will be full :-) Always happy to come back.

On a Saturday when the restaurant was completely full, we got a table with a beautiful view of the Rhine. The food came quickly and the staff were all very friendly. Among other things, we tried the Seafood Boil, both that and the other dishes were great. Nothing wrong with the taste, the homemade Inci sauce and everything overall was a very tasty and nice experience. We'll definitely be back.

I cannot recommend this store! Overpriced prices for not fresh fish and frozen food. I asked if I could pack the rest of the fish and potatoes, that wasn't a problem, only I was handed a bag with the sauce sloshing around in the bag. This later also leaked in the car. Secondly, the potatoes were completely forgotten and when asked if they could also be packed, they were thrown into the bag. When I got home, the food was no longer edible. I won't eat there again because apart from these things the service wasn't really nice either!

We were there yesterday Two good friends who wanted to enjoy a pleasant evening dinner. Personally, I was there two years ago. I tried to give it a chance twice because I left over €300 behind at the time. But we had to wait for over an hour despite the fact that the store wasn't even half full. I think there are only four or five parking spaces, if I didn't count wrong, and that's the ambience. Very worse. It's even better to set the prices too high for a snack bar because the taste is six out of ten not as recommendable as you can see on social media. It's overrated and there was an Italian waiter. He made a lot of effort, despite the long wait and everything, but unfortunately the rest was really not good.

You definitely have to make a reservation in advance because it is very crowded at any time. The food tastes great (we ordered a seafood boil and the mixed fish plate), prices correspond to the service. However, the dishes are presented better on social media and sometimes do not correspond to reality :)

I visited the Inci fish restaurant on a Sunday evening in Nov 2024. The team was very friendly and accommodating. There was a good mood in the team, which had a pleasant effect on the atmosphere. There is an impressive selection of fish and seafood on offer, all obviously of very high quality. As a starter I had fish soup. A high quality, but in my opinion the taste is dominated by fat (olive oil?) and garlic. For the main course I had a fish fillet with a vegetable side dish. Certainly a high-quality piece of Lake Victoria perch, but I found the result served bland and clearly too dry. Maybe I would have been better off with a seafood dish, but in my opinion the portions served at neighboring tables were far too large - I found my fish portion to be too large. I also have little experience in removing the shells, which judging from the impressions at neighboring tables didn't look easy and didn't always look appetizing.

We came with my wife and ate mussels with sauce and we liked it very much. I definitely recommend it. We will come again. Thank you to the friendly staff.

The prawns taste great here. We got our food very quickly and it was incredibly tasty. Definitely the best seafood in the area

Food was delicious, unfortunately very narrow inside, tables are relatively close to each other as if you were sitting together with the other guests and parking spaces are very limited but you can find a place to park in the area despite having a reservation, you have to wait but it's not very dramatic at least now They make an effort to organize places, staff very nice and friendly.

Such bad service!!! We just had a table for 8 p.m. with Instagram confirmation and we were accused of not having a table and were treated really badly. The woman at the door verbally attacked my pregnant friend, thank you for nothing

The food was fantastic and our waiter was super nice and quick. The only thing that bothers me is that the tables are quite close together and therefore quite loud. If you have a table after eight, then the week will be a little quieter.

It is a very small cramped restaurant and looks like a snack bar. The food was full of oil and fat and was prepared with zero effort. The service is unbelievable. I've never experienced so much disrespect. You go there and spend €50+ as a single person and you're not even shown any respect. When I asked if I could please get new cutlery because the cutlery that was given was already dirty before use, I was laughed at and sarcastically asked if I also needed new cutlery, which was meant completely sarcastically, you are a guest didn't feel taken seriously. The waiters were really unfriendly. A lady was sitting at a table next to us and the waiter told her that if he wished her a nice evening, she had to respond in kind. He may be right, but that's not how you talk to guests who are spending hundreds of euros as a group. After all, you should treat your guests warmly and like royalty.

Inconspicuous from the outside, right behind a high-rise building. But our skepticism was quickly overcome by the loving welcome and the great fresh fish counter. It was soooo delicious and the kids were thrilled too, delicious lobster, giant crabs, crabs, crayfish... the golden seafood bowl was simply fantastic. Get a seat directly at the window with a view of the Rhine without a reservation. We'll be back despite the journey from Oberhausen!!!

Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und sie waren wirklich nett und herzlich und freundlich. Some of them speak English but even so it doesn't effect anything with language barriers or communication, the food was really good, you can tell it was fresh and the atmosphere was very welcoming as a visitor to Germany. They do not serve alcohol.

You can only have a fishing experience like this on vacation. Absolutely classy restaurant, very friendly staff. The cuisine, the fish, the seafood, just melt in your mouth. Only 1 star deducted because of the price / supplement ratio. I mean, if a lot of things there cost almost twice as much as elsewhere, you could serve a few little things as side dishes.

In a beautiful location right on the Rhine, you can see the ships sailing past while you eat. The food was very tasty, fish platter and giant prawns. We also particularly liked the service. The guys were really attentive and funny. We'll be back.

Last night I had dinner with my wife at the Inci fish restaurant. Even though we had a reservation, we unfortunately had to wait half an hour outside the door. You should definitely expect longer waiting times on weekends. Another disadvantage is the lack of sufficient parking space. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was really tasty. Nevertheless, I cannot recommend the restaurant on weekends as it is very crowded and correspondingly noisy. For these reasons I only gave it 1 star.

We ordered the seafood boil... it was overcooked, the lobster was totally tough, the meat from the crabs was dry and a dip that we ordered never came. All in all, really not recommended... Service was pretty nice, apart from the lady who was in a bad mood the whole time. Parking situation also catastrophic. I'm really disappointed.

I ate there a year ago and again yesterday. And I can now definitely say that the long journey was 100 percent worth it. The service was A1 and the food was incredibly good. It was my husband's birthday yesterday. I asked the team if my husband and my kids could perhaps surprise you with a candle. They agreed to my request and even served a delicious cake. So if you come from far away, I would heartily recommend this delicious and friendly restaurant! We will definitely come by again 😊

I went to the restaurant with my wife to eat the seafood bowl that was hyped on social media. Arrived: in terms of parking, it's a disaster. There are no own parking spaces. Service: is pretty bad. We were greeted in a friendly manner, but it took 25 minutes for us to take our order or drinks. And I had to wait another 15 minutes to pay the bill. The restaurant is quite small and it is very chaotic despite having enough waiters. But now to the food: it was tasty but it didn't have a wow effect either. I would have gotten that in a good Spaniard with more flair. I don't have to go to Cologne specifically for this. Conclusion: I don't have to go there again because it's nothing special. Good social media marketing was done!

Apart from the shrimp being overcooked and the intestines not being cleaned, the presentation, taste, super friendly service, atmosphere and view were great.

We often go to inci and it tastes great. Every time I made a reservation and still waited about 25 minutes. So today we're going there for 2 people, as always, this time we didn't make a reservation because we had to wait anyway. After 20 minutes of waiting, the waiter actually sent us away. So sending two people away is probably really outrageous. That's not how you treat customers who come there at least twice a month. It's a real shame that we'll have to look elsewhere where we won't be treated like that.

2 stars for the view of the Rhine. That's it. More pretense than its the restaurant. Wouldn't believe everything the influencers on TikTok say! The waiters are very nice but the food is way too greasy and everything is prepared in cheap, unhealthy sunflower oil. Prices are way too expensive for that. Side dishes have to be ordered separately and are not really of high quality. Additives on the menu are marked alternately with letters. There is no legend for them, so you can't understand what they are. No one can tell you that if you ask...totally dubious. Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant!

We really expected so much more. The reception was OK, the atmosphere is super bleak for this great location. The volume is absurd, like in a train station and there is also hysterical music in the background. The bad thing was the toilets. I have rarely seen something so dirty, the toilets at the rest area are cleaner than what awaited us there. No toilet paper, there was a toilet next to it and the other one was clogged, no towel paper and the floor was floating. The food (bowl) was still heavy in my stomach a day later. We were there for exactly an hour. You don't feel invited to order anything or to sit a little longer A restaurant that thrives on artificially created hype. It's a shame.

It was my first time at Inci Cologne. Positive: Great seafood, great location, relaxed atmosphere, terrace/outdoor area with a partial view of the Rhine, leftover food is packed up for home, service OK. Negative: Prices and services are sometimes very opaque, orders placed sometimes do not arrive at all, sanitary facilities need to be renovated, small selection of drinks and no alcoholic drinks, parking spaces at the restaurant are almost non-existent. My conclusion: You have to do it once, but I don't think I'll go there more often.🦞🦪🧃

I really wanted to try the viral SeaFoodBoil. It was super delicious and 100% worth it. Since it was my birthday that day, the employees sang for me personally and I got cake on the house. We will definitely come more often.

We came from Frankfurt and because of the huge online presence and the great appearance on Instagram and co. We wanted to pay the store a visit. Worst mistake ever. We arrived at around 8 p.m. and were given a table that was completely filthy. Everything was stuck and there were still leftover napkins from the guests in front of us stuck in the middle of the table top. We wanted to order mussels, hamsi and a fish soup. Two of the three dishes were no longer available so we took the mussels and a seafood boil. Both are disasters. The mussels were filled with rice (which wasn't on the menu) and the seafood boil was shrimp, a small squid and the same mussels. Everything was served in the same sauce. The fish was anything but fresh, all frozen products that tasted bad. The store was incredibly dirty. The carpet probably hadn't been vacuumed since it opened and the toilet was also dirty. We ordered a bottle of still water and two cokes. We could watch from our table as the shallow water was filled from a 5l water canister. One of the worst evenings of my life. We paid €80 and left straight away.

That was one of the worst experiences when it came to eating. Here's a little insight into what awaits you: Very dirty shop, the carpet in the restaurant looks like it hasn't been vacuumed since it opened and I don't even want to start with the toilet. The table felt extremely sticky and I doubt it was wiped after every guest. Unrealistic prices for frozen fish. We paid €80 for seafood boil and mussels which were stuffed with rice (which was not declared on the menu). The mussels tasted old and we didn't dare eat any more. Among other things, an extremely large amount of plastic was used. Fish was served in plastic bags, gloves -> plastic, straw -> plastic, apron -> plastic, you shouldn't be surprised if the fish tastes like plastic. We only went there because the store has a good reach on Instagram, but that was more of an illusion than reality. NO RECOMMENDATION AND NEVER AGAIN!

Last night the four of us had dinner in Inci for the first time. Even though we waited 45 minutes for a table despite having a reservation, it was 100% worth it. The soup, the starter plate, the fish were great! The meal was crowned with the two desserts Katmer and Helva, which we enjoyed very much. The staff, especially Ibrahim Hakki and Claudio, also gave us a lovely evening with their friendly, courteous manner. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant mentioned really spoiled a small event for us. It was a birthday dinner for 18 people - the reservation was not possible online due to the limited number of guests. Nevertheless, I tried calling “Ibrahim” (the name given to me) 2.5 weeks before the event. The request was primarily rejected because the kitchen couldn't handle it - when I suggested sending the menu over a week in advance, Ibrahim changed his mind and confirmed the reservation to me. At the deadline, I sent the menu via WhatsApp (as agreed). After that there was no response - I called every day because 18 people were now coordinated to the event with the food. Several WhatsApp messages were ignored, as were calls. Once I was able to reach the gentlemen and ask them to confirm the menu (5 days before the reservation). I was promised a response within 30 minutes of seeing the list. Nothing happened - two days before the event I canceled via WhatsApp for reasons of respectful behavior. A day before the supposed reservation, I received a WhatsApp voice message that reservations only work online (so he forgot again). CONCLUSION: IF YOU WANT TO GO OUT FOR A DINNER, YOU SHOULD FIND A RELIABLE RESTAURANT OPERATOR.

The restaurant is beautifully located on the Rhine. You have a great view when you sit on the terrace. The fish bowl was very tasty and we were served quickly and well. The portion was very large. Gloves and a splash guard are included. I can recommend the restaurant!

Went there for the first time today. We sat outside on the terrace. There was no waiter at the terrace door to show us to a table, so even though they greeted us inside, we waited half an hour until the waiter came to bring us the menu It took a very long time for him to come to order our food and it took a very long time for the food to arrive. My daughter turned 18 today and wanted to eat at inci and after an hour and 20 minutes of driving we were there. Every single kilometer was worth it! ♥️ Staff makes guests feel comfortable and welcome. Food definitely 100 stars and the espresso is simply perfect. Not to sound like a threat, but we'll be back! 😂🥰

Hello everyone, been to the Inci in Cologne. When you walk in you get a glimpse of the selection of seafood. We then took a seat outside on the terrace, with the best view of the Rhine. We decided on a seabowl and a portion of fries as a side dish. The portion size was enough for two people and it was super tasty. Kind regards, your Grofy 🙌🔥🤙

I was at the Inci restaurant with my mother and was served by a young man named Claudio. He was very friendly and helpful. The food (mixed plate) was also very tasty. A beautiful view of the Rhine completed everything perfectly. Would love to come back

I absolutely can't understand all the hype for this restaurant. The restaurant is in a high-rise building on the ground floor and there are about 6 parking spaces available. The restaurant is remote, but we still had to look for a parking space for 30 minutes. The ambience is snack bar standard and not maintained. The restaurant was almost empty, but we still had to wait 40 minutes for our order to be taken. The main course was served, the side dishes 25 minutes later. We ordered the king prawns, which were not properly deveined. The taste of the food was ok, but still overrated. The waiter wasn't interested in the complaint; I don't think he understood our request. It's not a taste experience or worth the hype. The fish house in Düsseldorf is even cheaper, the quality and the ambience are much better, not comparable. Very disappointing!

When I visit Porz, I always order a lot of dishes from Inci. We all always taste them very spicy and fresh. We would be happy to continue visiting.

First of all, our thanks for a really great and delicious evening. We were greeted warmly at the entrance and escorted to the table. At the table we were asked in a very friendly manner about our wishes and they also listened to our special requests, such as preparing the salad without tomatoes. As a starter we had the shrimps with the INCI special sauce and a mixed seasonal salad with pomegranate sauce. Both very appetizingly prepared and incredibly tasty. For the main course we had the sea bream royal, which was particularly delicious grilled. A wonderful garlic-herb oil was served in a special gravy boat. Simply a dream. We were full and happy. The ambience was outstanding. We sat right by the window with a view of the Rhine. Simply great and incredibly suitable for the dishes and smells. Remarkable and kudos for the service of the young lady who served us. She was very friendly and always kept an eye out to see if we were missing anything. Thank you for the great, friendly service, which is unfortunately not a given everywhere these days. The restaurant actually deserves an extra star for this, so it deserves 6 stars. We will be back very soon and will definitely recommend you to others. Thanks.

Fish was very poorly prepared. Totally a lot of fat, watery and everything fell apart. Fish wasn't fresh, probably frozen. Honestly, the worst sea bream I've ever been served. Didn't get any bread despite asking. Only the green fish sauce was tasty. We're not going there anymore. It's a shame about our money and our time.

I go to many fish restaurants, but so far this is the only fish restaurant where I feel satisfied. The varieties are many and fresh. 💯

Through a recommendation I deposited 200km for this restaurant. Despite making a reservation, my wife and I had to wait outside the door for about 25 minutes. Guests who came after us were given priority over us. The comment about wanting to sit by the window or outside was ignored. After we finally sat down, we were ultimately reassigned to another table and had to move around. After we ordered our food, a good 50 minutes passed until the food finally came. On top of that, the order was taken incorrectly and by the time the correct one arrived the food was already cold. This criticism was also presented to the managing director in a conversation. As a “make up” we received 3 sauces and potatoes. Finally, the bill was offset against the incorrectly ordered food, meaning I paid more than I should have.

Unfortunately I can only give one star. We had ordered a platter for 300€ for 5 people, but after 1.5 hours they came to us and explained that the order had not been received due to an error at the checkout. They promised the order would come within the next 5 minutes, but after another 20 minutes of waiting we decided to get up and leave. This poor organization and treatment of customers is intolerable. We definitely won't be coming back.

Meanwhile, my salad turned into an unappetizing, mushy soup. The waiters were unfriendly, incompetent and seemed completely overwhelmed - it was as if they were working in a restaurant for the first time in their lives. The organization? Unavailable! After this endless wait and the miserable service, we finally decided to leave the restaurant. We were disappointed and frustrated that our evening turned out this way. I cannot recommend this restaurant and would advise everyone to think carefully about whether they really want to spend a nice evening here

Something different. Very nice staff who take care of you as soon as you enter the restaurant. We sat outside. That was beautiful. The food was great. If I could give more stars I would. My husband had fried fish and loved it. I had the seafood bowl and it was delicious. We have to come back. There were some parking spaces available. But not very many. Everything was very very good. Hats off👍

Unfortunately the food was very mediocre, the service was poor, Ambience snack style...unfortunately zero stars not possible There is nothing left of the Inci at the old location...

Finally a fish restaurant in Cologne that knows how to prepare fish properly. But unfortunately I have to say that the service is not good. You don't rush the guests to leave because you have to prepare for dinner. Clearing plates when there is still food on them is not an option.

ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD! We reserved a table days in advance that didn't really exist in all the chaos and that was only given to us very roughly wiped and therefore completely oily and greasy. We ordered the seafood boil, fries and water. The seafood boil absolutely looked like slapped-on leftovers. The visuals were irritatingly disgusting, even though we love eating seafood. Some of the fries were pitch black on the edges and looked unappetizing. Since you normally get tongs for the crustaceans, we asked for them and only received them from the third service person. The amount of water was surprisingly small in the bottle, which we hadn't even opened yet. In the end it turned out that this bottle had already been opened and they wanted to let us know that we had opened this bottle. Conclusion: A total failure for the first impression, but everyone deserves a second chance!
