The vegetable kebab was really, really tasty. Apart from the fact that a rat almost jumped on me while I was queuing, everything was great. That's Berlin.
I can only agree with the previous speakers: Inflation has simply been overused. No matter what you order, you always get the 9 euro version of the kebab. The price is simply not worth what you get. Much less meat than before, kebab felt half as big. Lost regular customers due to greed for money. Bad luck
The owner is friendly and the taste is average. (ㅅㅏActually, I used it all the time.) It's right in front of the train station and it's cheaper than the store inside the train station.
Disappointing and overpriced - more appearance than reality
I had high expectations for Pizeria Medine, but unfortunately I was seriously disappointed.
1. The taste of the kebab is very bad. I tried “Kebab Bag” and to be honest it didn’t convince me. The ingredients didn't seem harmonious and the meat was as dry as cardboard. In addition, the sauce was either far too dominant or not there at all.
2. Portions too small, prices too high - You pay almost twice as much for a kebab that is significantly smaller than a normal snack kebab. The price-performance ratio is simply not right.
3. Atmosphere cold and uncomfortable – The store looks old-fashioned, but it doesn't really feel inviting. In addition, the staff was totally unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I had a question about the ingredients.
The food is not bad.
What bothered us was the rudeness of the staff, and that they tried to scam us!
First, they don't want to accept cards (hello? Berlin in the year 2025?) and second, you give him €50 and he hides 1 of the 20 bills from you to tell you that you only gave him 30! What a nose!
I was there today and honestly it's always a shame how some Turkish waiters/employees behave. Maybe because they have problems themselves or are annoyed that they haven't made it far in life, maybe these are their own feelings of inferiority. I was standing in front of the counter today and the employee didn't ask me about my order until the other employee, a little taller, asked him "Did you take his order?" then I told the nice employee. The kebab was delicious. But I would like to say something to the employee here, the small employee. The customers can't help your mood. You have to take your problems with you to work. Be nice and believe me life will be nice to you
"We came here for Wiener Schnitzel. The meat was okay, but for €29, I would have expected more. My wife didn't like the potato salad—it seemed and looked like it had been made yesterday. Service was okay, but overall, rather disappointing for the price."
Well, I have to write a review now and then. I see bad reviews from time to time and of course it can be worse than the day before, but I really go to Berlin Dōner very often and it is always so delicious. The curry sauce is the best I know and the employees are always super polite. I would come again and again.
So I've ordered food there more often now, either the sauce was too thick or the food was wrong, then it was wrong again and the drink was always missing when I ordered
