Brotdorf Grill in Merzig

I love mango chicken. However, the dish has become so expensive. 19€ for 3-4 pieces of chicken and sauce. In some cases the dishes are almost 100% more expensive.

We went to the restaurant for dinner. The reception was friendly and we were allowed to choose a place. The 20, egg noodle with vegetables and the 40, fried rice with vegetables and chicken were ordered. The food was delivered quickly. Unfortunately, we looked for the vegetables in both dishes in vain. Only some onion, soybean sprouts and a few carrot strips were in the dishes. No peppers or broccoli, peas or other vegetables were included. Instead, lots of rice or noodles. We're not used to that. The taste of the whole thing was so-so. We wanted to sharpen it, but the red chili paste didn't look good at all, it was dark and definitely older. We will no longer visit the Lokal de Facto. The toilets were clean.

I really liked the Aleppo Tor Restaurant in Merzig. I've been there several times, today for dinner. It's a Mexican/Syrian restaurant in the old town. First there was a greeting from the kitchen and then I had a chili con carne. And as a service, the question of how spicy the stew should be. I thought it was great! And then a mixed grill plate for one person. It was tasty and generous in size. All in all a successful evening!

When things have to go quickly... We entered the restaurant at 6:50 p.m. and left at 7:27 p.m. Starters and main courses were served within a quarter of an hour, but due to the short time there was unfortunately nothing to drink apart from a Martini for me and an Apperol for my wife. I had longer and more pleasant stays in kebab shops! You imagine a nice evening in the restaurant differently. We felt like stuffed ducks, quickly filled and quickly out again. That was probably nothing.

Delicious and hot. I have tried more than one restaurant but the food here is different. The chicken wings are very amazing
