The food is absolutely awesome! The staff are really friendly and welcoming especially Mr. Jamal. It has become a routine for us to eat Döner weekly in Berliner Döner!!

Great kebab that is second to none.

Well prepared, but I was disappointed with the taste. I had the special with everything and overall everything was too sour for me. The meat had no roasted aromas whatsoever. The picture looks better than I liked. At least a change from the standard.

It was at most OK (3/5). If you eat döner for its sauce and not the meat, you'd like it. The sauce and other vegetables were more dominant than the meat. The fries were not good (2/5). Also, the staffs can be more polite, but they did look overworked.

On the subject of food: Has made a big name for itself but there's nothing behind it, doesn't taste good at all and the bread was old and rancid in taste... listening to how you want your kebab isn't going to work either. The mass has also decreased compared to before, therefore overpriced. Stay away from the Berliner Döner... there are much better things than the big BERLIN DÖNER!!!!

The shop has been around for a long time now and yet it was full of people again on Friday evening. TOP quality veal kebab for only €6.90, friendly staff and a great ambience. I'm happy to stand in line for that, maybe soon in the new store in Dubai :)

Very fruity lemon and pomegranate is not my taste, I didn't expect it either.

I liked everything. Friendly staff. Large portions for a pleasant price. I really enjoyed it and felt good. Definitely come back. The prices from de. Drinks are a little more expensive, which I think is perfectly fine.

So this kebab was like a revelation, the best kebab I've eaten to date at the age of 46, so juicy, great with the pomegranate and the dash of lemon juice at the end, super delicious and fresh. Totally cool that good techno was playing loudly. Doner kebab 2.0

Here you can really find the tastiest and freshest kebab in the city and it tastes really, really good. You'll want to come back again and again and eat the kebab. It stands out clearly from other kebab chains.

No matter whether kebab, kebab plate, kebab special and much more. - Taste and quality are outstanding. 3 types of meat, 3 different sauces, very tasty salad with pomegranate seeds, one of the best falafel I've ever tasted. Also very friendly and courteous service, beautifully decorated atmosphere. An absolute top address at the highest level. Absolute recommendation for anyone who loves kebab and wants to take this experience to the extreme.

I tried all three types of kebab and I have to say, in my opinion, it's not as good as described on various channels. Because radishes and pomegranate didn't go particularly well on the kebab. More of a hype kebab in my opinion, I prefer the classic kebab

Actually one and a half stars, but I can't rate it on Google. The kebab meat was a bit dry, we ordered special kebab where there were no fries, when we asked we were simply given kebab in our hand. The falafel plate had a good amount of salad, but it looked and tasted a bit stale. The falafel balls were hard and a bit burnt on the outside. Overall 1.5-2 stars. The Berliner kebab in Nuremberg tastes 100 times better!

Be careful, the owner reports negative reviews as slander, so the reviews here don't tell the whole truth. The kebab was bad overall, too little meat and way too much mushrooms or other vegetables that don't belong on it. There is no sink or toilet and the atmosphere is rather cool with loud techno music.

Unfortunately, that was the worst kebab experience I've ever had. The meat didn't taste like meat, but more like ham, and the sauce was sour and unpleasant in taste. Overall, you felt uncomfortable - unfortunately not recommended. There are definitely better ones in the area!!

I tried the heart doner, it was very successful and satisfying, but I think the taste of the doner would be better without adding it. The part that I found strange at first but liked the taste was the addition of a few pinches of pomegranate to the doner kebab at the end 😊 The staff works hygienically and safely despite the busy schedule.

I ordered two veal doner kebabs with a bit of green salad but you don't have any meat. The kebab is just green salad and I paid €14 for it. Green salad only 50 g of meat, not good for two people, man This food is not enough for a child

Went to the Berliner Döner in Erlangen today, everything was very good, the salad looked nice and fresh and the kebab had plenty of toppings.

The hype from the store is exaggerated and unjustified. The kebab is okay, nothing special. In my opinion it was way too greasy. The ambience is nicer and modern. Would I go there again? No. Not as long as it doesn't have to be.

Painfully average. Staff spoke horrible english, kebab was incredibly meh, atmosphere was fine but it doesnt make up for the averageness of the food. I do not reccommend this unless you are very hungry.

Delicious kebab, fresh and generously topped. Hygiene is important here, everything is clean. The staff is really, really friendly. This is a rare experience these days. Absolutely great!

Probably the best kebab in Erlangen. Three skewers (yaprak, chicken, veal). Fresh and unusual toppings (e.g. pomegranate seeds). The kebab bread is absolutely great. In terms of price, it's completely okay considering the quality, even a euro too cheap. The store has a good flow and is usually very full.

Negative reviews will be deleted. Don't go for Berlin kebabs here. Doner stinks and tastes like diarrhea. As in the other reviews, I gave up Bavaria has no food culture. If you read this review and still go, I recommend having a few rolls of toilet paper at home. At least don't misuse the name Berliner Döner, thank you.

The kebab is really good for Erlangen. However, it is not a Berlin kebab. Anyone who has ever been to Rüyam or Mustafa in Berlin knows that there are worlds in between. Many ingredients don't make the kebab any better. However, one absolute no-no was: We used Neotaste once. There our cell phones were taken away and the voucher had to be entered by the staff. Lo and behold, I've already given Neotaste 5 stars, even if I didn't necessarily want to. I would still like to give the rating myself. The ambience is OK. The tables need to be wiped down a little more often. Otherwise the staff is friendly.

I bought a Doner on the evening of 26.09.24, and the meat was undercooked and inedible. It was disgusting. Very disappointed with the quality and safety of the food.

The kebab was very tasty, the waitress wore gloves and the ingredients looked fresh. There were napkins and wet towels to clean your hands. If you had the opportunity to set up several tables and some umbrellas outside, the shop would get 5* from me.

I got a kebab from this restaurant for the second time today. My first visit a few weeks ago was passable, but today's vegetable chicken wrap was unfortunately disappointing across the board. The wrap was soggy, overall the kebab was too salty and otherwise quite tasteless. Apart from the salad, I had practically no vegetables in the wrap, there were stones in the salad and the meat was stringy - and the most unpleasant thing, I even had a large piece of chicken neck in the penultimate bite and from then on I couldn't eat any more because I was disgusted. Unfortunately, today was my last visit.

After all the positive reviews, I also tried the original Berlin kebab. It tasted good so far, but it wasn't a hit for my taste. I've definitely had better kebab plates but also significantly worse ones. The meat was dry, the rice different from what I know from a kebab plate. But it didn't taste bad. Unfortunately there was only wooden cutlery although I ate there. If I had seen it beforehand I would have chosen another location. Price/performance was right.

Mega tasty, varied, fresh and lots of ingredients. Ambiance snack bar, self-service, without toilet. I've never had a kebab with so many ingredients. No extra charge but individual preparation.

OVERHYPED My or our last experience was not good. In my opinion, the meat was cut way too quickly and wasn't cooked properly. We had stomach pains and nausea a few hours after eating. I've also had diarrhea for two days. The idea itself with the crazy ingredients is great. But if the skewer isn't done properly, unfortunately it won't help. In addition, the kebab was not put together but thrown together - without love! We're not coming anymore.

This evening I ordered a kebab with my girlfriend each. The kebab itself was very tasty (except that the sauce leaked a little and it was a bit salty towards the end, it was really great), but the atmosphere and the customer service (especially the tone in which the customer was spoken to) We didn't like this store at all. The employees seemed very stressed and unfortunately you also had to notice this clearly as a customer: they were rudely asked how the kebab was topped and also whether it should be packed. The bag with the kebab was then simply slammed onto the counter and without a "bye" or anything like that, the next customer's order went straight on. They also made a mistake in their choice of words, so you could tell from the customers' facial expressions that they most likely didn't feel particularly comfortable. We personally didn't feel particularly welcome there and this also affected the overall quality of the kebab. PLEASE NOTE: We had been to this store several times before and really enjoyed eating there, but over time we unfortunately noticed that the service got progressively worse. There is little to nothing to complain about about the kebab, but the service and friendliness can definitely still be worked on.

Both the atmosphere and the staff are really nice. There's nothing wrong with that. But the food really wasn't good. An extremely fatty sauce, so much fat in the kebab plus the fried vegetables were a bit too much for me. There was also no real balance between meat, salad and the lack of bread on the kebab plate. I haven't eaten a better kebab yet! Best in Erlangen - at least for me! Delicious and fresh ingredients - including pomegranate seeds, rocket and lemon juice, which makes the taste clearly different from other kebabs. In any case, you have to expect longer waiting times at lunchtime. Unfortunately, telephone orders are not possible - perhaps this could reduce the longer waiting times and the resulting hectic pace. It's definitely worth giving it a try!

In short, our experience again. -Waiting time is very long, I've never had to wait 30 minutes for a kebab - kebab is started first by person A, person B then continues, then person A comes into play again. Person C then collects. - At 5:30 p.m. there was hardly any meat left, there was just enough for a few kebabs - Staff aren't exactly friendly either, they make a mistake and then tell us we didn't say so. Well, if the kebab is constantly occupied by someone else - hectic atmosphere - untidy space where is occupied

Good kebab, but why do you put champions on it without asking?

The falafel didn't blow me away, it was quite doughy and cold. Otherwise, the ingredients are pretty great, the flatbread is crispy and tasty, the salad is fresh and good, the sauces are delicious and you even get baba ghannoush with it. Lemon rounds it off well. But the waiter forgot to add fried vegetables for me. I can't say anything about the kebab meat, but when it comes to falafel I would recommend going to one of the Arabic shops, for example at the train station, in front of Kaufland or at Lorlebergplatz. The line is quite long but that's probably because they've put themselves well on the map with their opening offer. There's also some nice techno going on, it definitely feels a bit like Berlin, it should be nice, especially in the evenings. :) 3.5 stars.
