This is a great place for a younger hip crowd but I also enjoyed it being an older person.
The pizza was good with no complaints. Similar to the pizza I eat in my local restaurant at home. The price for a margarita pizza 🍕 is €14 and my Quattro Salami cost €19. I think for a city like Regensburg the prices are ok.
Ordered kebab on fries to take away. The young (new?) staff was fooling around and so they forgot my fries. I didn't see when the fries were brought out. They were very dark. And the meat was lukewarm, even though I didn't have it far home.
I'll have a pizza again next time, it's definitely hot.
We love Malik, no matter what. When we order pizza, we do it here and pick it up ourselves. Simply delicious, but quite filling (greasy). The takeout prices are unbeatable!
Initially, Siprego was significantly better. For a 20 euro pizza you should expect high quality toppings. The salami was of good quality, but the cheese, tomato sauce and sheep's cheese were more of a cheap by-product. At this price I would have expected a higher quality selection. Unfortunately, the garlic dip was also disappointing - it only consisted of a mixture of yoghurt and a little garlic, more would have been possible. But the delivery time is a 10/10. Unfortunately it was a bit burnt, but personally I don't think it's that bad. Definite potential for improvement 😉
As for the ambience, it's simple and okay. Not really appealing, but not uncomfortable either.
For food, I ordered a salami pizza with mushrooms which had a nice thin base and a fluffy edge. With more authentic toppings it was very, very good. I also ordered a minced meat pide which unfortunately, in my opinion, smelled/tasted slightly rancid due to the oil spread on the edge. Unfortunately I had to give it back after I had barely tried it. It can happen and it's not a bad thing, is what I wanted to say afterwards. Were there as a group and I wasn't the only one who found the smell strange.
Regarding the service, at first he was very nice and put a table together for us, later when I raised the problem in private at the service counter, he seemed slightly irritated to me and said I was the first to complain about it and it was probably because I wasn't hungry anymore. To him it would smell normal. Unfortunately, I didn't find it as nice and accommodating as before.
I paid the full price.
Pizza+Pide+thirst quencher, €24.50 (€25)
La Luna's food tastes good as always, but the long-term disregard for road safety forces me to only give one star rating. Every day during rush hour, the restaurant's delivery vehicles continue to block the intersection of Rubensstr. and Gemarkenstrasse in a no-parking area - even directly opposite the no-parking signs - and often force turning vehicles and bicycles to drive in the opposite direction, which is a real source of danger.🤨🚓
Let me be clear: Basing the efficiency of food delivery on the threat to other people's safety crosses the boundaries of business ethics. I strongly recommend immediately agreeing on a legal parking solution with the transport authorities (e.g. applying for a temporary loading zone) instead of continuing to abuse public transport resources.🚦🚦🚦
