Il Lago Pizzeria in Friedrichshafen

Service: freundlich und schnell. Nachtisch (Tiramisu) ordentlich. Da kann man auch nicht viel falsch machen. Pasta und Pizza: ausreichend. Der kulinarische GAU: Gläschen Rotwein wird mit Zimmertemperatur (an diesem Tag so um 26 Grad) serviert. Damit rechnet niemand. Die vielen äußerst positiven Bewertungen für dieses Lokal kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Die Bedienung war bemüht und freundlich, schöne Sitzgelegenheit im Freien. Die Pizza und Pastas waren lecker.

Top Auswahl und Zubereitung. Ich bin sehr begeistert vom sehr guten und qualitativ hohem Essen.

Wir waren heute spontan dort und wurden sehr herzlichen empfangen. Die Terrasse bzw. das ganze Ambiente ist sehr schön, das Restaurant befindet sich inmitten einer Tennisanlage, was aber überhaupt nicht störend ist. Der Service war erstklassig, sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Die Pizzen waren extrem lecker, der Boden dünn und knusprig - und das zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Richtig lecker und gemütliche Atmosphäre

Ein richtig tolles, originales italienisches Lokal. Direkt beim reinkommen wurde ich freundlich begrüßt. Obwohl ich nur eine Pizza zum abholen geordert hatte, wurde mir trotzdem ein Sitzplatz und ein Getränk angeboten. Die Qualität der Pizza ist hervorzuheben.

Leckeres Essen, nettes Personal und angenehmes Ambiente ☺️ absolut empfehlenswert Wir hatten Spaghetti Carbonara 😋 Spaghetti Frutti di Mare 😋 und Spaghetti Aglio e Olio 😋 alles mega lecker und Preise völlig ok. Die große Karte hat ausreichende Auswahl, die motiviert wieder zu kommen und sich durch zu futtern ☺️die Pizza am Nebentisch sah z.B. auch toll aus. Wir hatten nicht reserviert aber hatten problemlos einen Tisch bekommen. Parkplatz mit günstigen Preisen. Wir hatten problemlos Platz bekommen, könnte ggf. eng werden wenn angrenzendes Strandbad voll ist 🤣 Wir kommen sicher wieder

Spagetti Carbonara gabs leider nur mit Sahne, ansonsten was alles sehr gut. Leider sehr viele Schmeißfliegen. Wirt hat dann einen Räuchertopf aufgestellt. Sehr gut.

Dieses italienische Restaurant hat uns wirklich begeistert. Der Service war von Anfang an sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter haben immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob man noch etwas braucht, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Man hat sich dadurch sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Auch die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war einfach wunderschön. Die Einrichtung, das Ambiente und die gesamte Stimmung erinnern stark an einen kleinen Urlaub in Italien. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann das Essen in einer entspannten und gemütlichen Umgebung genießen. Das Essen war ebenfalls hervorragend. Die Pizza hatte zwar einen etwas kleineren Rand als erwartet, dafür war sie geschmacklich umso besser – der Teig war lecker und der Belag sehr frisch und aromatisch. Besonders beeindruckt haben uns jedoch die Nudeln. Sie waren unglaublich lecker, perfekt zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Insgesamt war der Besuch eine rundum tolle Erfahrung. Schlechter als 5 Sterne kann man dieses Restaurant wirklich nicht bewerten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Für mich die beste Pizza im Umkreis. Wir haben schon oft dort gegesssen oder Pizza abgeholt. Selbst beim Abholen & Zuhause Essen bleibt die Pizza knusprig & kross, ein Traum. Das Il Lago liegt direkt an den Tennisplätzen & ist daher auch Vereinsrestaurant.

Das Essen ist toll, die Zutaten sind frisch und sehr hochwertig. Man merkt, dass hier nicht gespart wird. Die Bedienung ist schnell und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein Dankeschön an das ganze Team. Wir sind freundlich empfangen wurden und fühlten uns von Anbeginn sehr wohl. Die Bedienung war schnell und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Einfach ein Genuss. Und obwohl eigentlich kein Platz mehr für das Dolce war konnten wir nicht widerstehen. Zum Abschied noch ein kleiner Plausch mit dem Inhaber. Ein sehr gelungener Abend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fanden wir absolut in Ordnung. Wir können diese "Perle" am Bodensee nur wärmstens empfehlen. Danke für das wunderbare Erlebnis.

Excellent pizza, friendly service, and a spot for us at 6 p.m. An hour and a half later, the restaurant was almost fully booked. Locals and tourists alike enjoy great Italian food there. We were very satisfied and will be back!

We came here spontaneously and managed to snag a table. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. The salad had a great dressing and was very large. The spaghetti marinara was also excellent. We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the hospitality. Highly recommended!

The bruschetta pizza was completely soggy. The bruschetta simply wasn't slapped on with care. The same goes for the olives. A mountain in the middle of the pizza. The dough was burnt. The owner was also very unfriendly and just plain irritated.

The food is good and I especially like the homemade pickles used both on the pizzas and in the appetizers. The pizzas are wonderful and also the pasta dishes and salads are refreshing and tasty.

I was quite surprised when, at the pizzeria's opening time in the afternoon, seeing no customers and no signs on the tables announcing reservations, I learned that all the seats were already taken and that customers would be arriving soon. Eventually, I managed to find a table for an hour, but it was a bit of a stretch. I also have some reservations about the quality of the pizza I ordered. The grilled vegetable pizza contained vegetables, but they seemed to have been freshly pulled from a jar. The second pizza was bland and had too much cheese. On the plus side, the garlic-infused olive oil was delicious, and the second was slightly spicy. The children's playground is doing a good job, it's well-equipped and clean. The restaurant itself doesn't have much competition in the area, which is a shame. Perhaps this would help the owner improve the quality of their service, adjust prices to suit the customer's needs, and improve the quality of their pizzas, for example.

Very friendly staff and delicious food in generous portions. The only thing that's a bit distracting is the tennis matches (if you don't like tennis and generally prefer a quieter atmosphere). But that shouldn't deter you from a visit.

The food (pizza, pasta, and antipasti) was very tasty. Unfortunately, service was slow at lunch, and sitting outside wasn't possible despite the sunshine. The service was friendly nonetheless.

We were here in 2021. In 2025, we vacationed in Friedrichshafen again and ate here. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, great food, and a truly top-notch chef. Thank you, and we'd love to come back.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. I recommend making a reservation, although the wait was easily passable with an aperitif.

Too expensive, it wasn't worth it. The pasta was from Lidl for a salad for 16€, which I can make at home for 3€. I wouldn't recommend it.

My experience at this company was different than I initially imagined. I encountered difficulties in internal communication and organizational structure. With more clarity regarding responsibilities and stronger staff support, efficiency and service quality could be further improved, in my opinion. These assessments are based solely on my personal experience.

Don’t expect the owner to make any effort. Tourists are not welcome.

This restaurant is right next to the tennis courts. The food is excellent, and you won't end up in a tourist trap here. Everything is fresh and homemade. Lovely sunny terrace under a large awning. The wine selection is limited, but very good. Attentive service.

A lovely restaurant on Lake Constance in Friedrichshafen. The Mediterranean menu is mostly Sardinian. I tried the owner's famous handmade culurgios, which I ordered earlier because they're not on the menu, and I can only say they were simply delicious. The vegetable appetizer and tiramisu were excellent, both also homemade by the owner. Sitting on the terrace and gazing out over the lake is very relaxing. Highly recommended 🥂😋 👍

Superbly courteous service, very attentive chef! The food is made with Italian love and tastes just like it! We had pizza, spaghetti, and salad... everything was excellent! We'll definitely remember this! As soon as we're back on vacation in Friedrichshafen, we'll be back!

My mother and I spontaneously stopped by this Italian restaurant today after a bike ride, and it was exactly the right decision! We received a friendly welcome, and the service was quick and attentive, even though we were the only one serving. We both had the penne al forno, which was super delicious, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. Overall, a really pleasant stop with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

Service: The owner was extremely friendly and genuine – it was a pleasure chatting with him. Atmosphere: Very modern and spotlessly clean! The outdoor area is cozy, and with a bit of luck, you might even catch some tennis :) We were very well looked after here – the 5 out of 5 stars are genuine and heartfelt!

Yesterday, a group of 12 of us went to Il Lago. What can I say except that we were all absolutely thrilled? The staff was incredibly friendly, the portions were generously sized, the prices were relatively low, and the food was truly outstanding. If we lived in the area, this would be our new go-to pizzeria. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit to Friedrichshafen!

We visited this pizzeria as part of a theater outing. We were able to choose a sunny spot without any long wait. We mostly ordered pizzas, which were delicious. There's nothing to complain about. Tennis is played in the establishment, and the staff are considerate of the players.

We visited for the second time today and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant – it's a real hidden gem away from the city center. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food deserves 10 out of 10: the ingredients are always very fresh, high-quality, and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant also has a wonderful ambiance. We'll gladly return, even though it's quite a drive. To try as much as possible, we enjoyed each dish together.

A completely normal pizzeria, the food wasn't outstanding but it was okay. The hospitality was nice and the ambience was also ok. I won't recommend it as we certainly won't be going there again. It's right next to the beach, casual and also suitable for families.

Mixed appetizer platter was plentiful and very tasty; Pizza is excellent. We arrived at rush hour without a reservation. After a few minutes we got a seat; However, it took longer because of the high capacity utilization. But the good quality made up for it

Il Lago was recommended to us, it said it was friendly, cozy and good food. Today we spontaneously decided to finally go there. We were seated at a nice table outside and then, yeah, then nothing happened. The waiter who seated us was outside several times, served others, looked in our direction and walked away again. No response to speaking and waving. We then left after 15 minutes of ignorance. A pity. With all the other good reviews here, hopefully he just had a bad day.

We stopped by spontaneously on a Saturday evening. Despite the restaurant being very full, a table was found for the 3 of us. Food came quickly and was very good. Everything was great and with little staff and a full restaurant 👍👍👍

Delicious and authentic food, friendly and courteous staff, otherwise nice and simply furnished, partly. Very nice view. The price is absolutely right, we'd be happy to come back if we're ever in the area.

We stopped there on the way to Austria and it was a really nice surprise :) The pizzas are very good and the service with a smile. In the top ! A small playground right next door and no cars passing by. Really great!

We came two years ago and the pizzas are still delicious. The setting is atypical but that doesn't bother you because the quality is there. The staff is kind and professional. We really recommend this place.

The pizzas were excellent, they were served with a chilli and garlic oil, both of which were excellent. The staff was friendly and professional and despite the crowds, the pizzas arrived quickly. The location of the pizzeria is very nice, the interior is modern and not typically Italian.

The food is very tasty and of good quality with reasonable prices, the staff friendly, the atmosphere very cozy, we will definitely eat there again.
