We don't eat out very often, but the Taj Mahal is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything we've eaten there is delicious, the portions are too generous for me, but good enough for most people. I believe in freshly cooked food, as it says on the menu, because the food is easily digestible for me - blessed with various mild intolerances. I particularly like the calmness that the boss and employees exude - it radiates on me. In any case, the gastronomy in Langen would be significantly poorer!

Indian and Asian dishes. Both highly recommended and massive portion sizes. The only and only necessary Indian in Lohr, as the food is an experience. A real taste explosion.

We ordered Biriyani here, but it came with a sweet pineapple sauce, which was really surprising. I usually know Biriyani differently from Indian restaurants - it shouldn't be sweet, and especially not with pineapple sauce. Price-performance was okay, and the staff was friendly. Although the restaurant is relatively close to the city, it is not immediately visible. They also have a nice beer garden, which is definitely nice in the summer

Incredibly good food. I eat vegetarian. The vegetables are excellently prepared, not overcooked, as is so often the case. Good spiciness, thankfully spicy here means really hot. Super fast delivery, always a nice experience even in the restaurant. Friendly, without intrusiveness. I am a fan and recommend this restaurant without reservation.

First of all, the boss is really nice. Unfortunately, like many Chinese restaurants, it is a kind of German-Indian. I know it a little differently from Budapest or Thailand but also from other Indian restaurants.

Taste of India has only just opened, so there weren't that many people, which dampens the atmosphere a bit. But otherwise everything was great: delicious food and friendly staff. We had delicious Samosas for starters and an eggplant curry and lamb tikka massala afterwards. Delicious and spacious enough. Definitely worth a meal when you are in the area.

The Chicken Mango is very, very fruity. Chicken Korma was good, but it lacked a bit of kick. The Nan is world class! The price is a little high. Addendum 2024-09: Lunch per portion 10 to 11€ 0.4l spritzer €3.90 Naan €2.90 The Mango Chicken is still very great and highly recommended. Unfortunately, grill plates are only served on a normal plate and meat quickly becomes cold and tough. Naan Ost still delicious.
