I visited this restaurant because I saw they have chaat - indian street food - on their menu. We tried a couple of them, paani puri, samosa chaat, dahi puri and aaloo tikki. The pani puri and dahi puri were absolutely delicious and authentic, I loved it! But the aaloo tikki and samosa chaat were honestly a bit underwhelming and weren't authentic. But I am glad I found a place in Göttingen that serves decent paani puris, I will definitely go back for them again.

The restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere suitable for a relaxed dinner. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Goa India, especially for all Indian food lovers.

I have been very delighted and enchanted since I first entered the India Haus, I have been very impressed ever since, and it gets more and more so with every subsequent visit to the restaurant here in Göttingen, southern Lower Saxony. Everything is very beautiful in the Indian style and atmosphere, why wander into the distance - the Indian house is very close. Love 💘 Greetings from Siegfried, son Christian and son Markus to the sunshine, who always greets me very kindly and keeps an open eye on me. We feel very comfortable and keep coming back.

We have often ordered food but this time we ate on site. The restaurant is simply brilliant. Staff very nice. Eating without flavored reinforcement, everything looks organic. And it's unbeatable!

Its pretty hard to find Dosa in Germany but this restaurant provided me the best dosa. Felt like i am eating in a restaurant in India. Amazing ambience, and the location of the restaurant is also central so easy to reach.

I don't understand why the Indian restaurant opposite was packed and it was very quiet here. I was treated like a king, the food was delicious and the portion was completely sufficient. My best thanks to the chef and the lovely service.

India Haus is a great restaurant. I ordered something and wasn't satisfied. So the restaurant contacted me and offered me a free replacement dish which was delicious. The butter chicken (spicy) is really good.

A super friendly team welcomes you with a smile. The order was taken promptly. The waiting time was very short until both drinks and food arrived. The restaurant has a small area for outside seating and there is plenty of space inside. It is lovingly designed. The toilets are in the basement, but very clean. The restaurant is also very clean. The service was good, reis and bread were good too, BUT the butterchicken we ordered tasted like chicken soup. We will not come back again.

Food delivered was an imposition. Even the uneaten carrots and cucumbers from my children's school lunch boxes are fresher than the ones delivered here. None of the menus delivered were tasty. Even the 3vers naan breads were inedible. It's a shame 2 years ago we ate in the restaurant, it was actually good.

As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the beautiful ambience and the friendly service. Extra requests are no problem, lots of vegan choices. Yummy. Everything is freshly prepared, I'm thrilled. What impresses me most here is the service. Everyone is friendly. We really enjoyed the evening. ❤️

The India Haus was very busy, but luckily we had reserved. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. There's plenty of choice on the menu. Drinks quite expensive otherwise price performance okay. Ambience so-so. I didn't think the food was that great, but that's just how it is sometimes.

I ordered ( Lieferando ) and the food arrived cold and I waited almost 1 hour and 20 minutes when the delivery time was given as an average of 45 minutes. The lamb was very dry and unfortunately so was the rice. I also got a masala which was unfortunately cold, damp and soggy. I usually like to eat Indian food but unfortunately this was a complete failure. Price-performance is not at all almost criminal Small addendum I threw up about 1 hour after eating, thanks for nothing 👍🏼 I absolutely can't recommend the store

Meiner Meinung nach das beste indische Restaurant in Göttingen. Wir kommen gerne hier her. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist vielfältig und für jeden ist etwas dabei. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Das Essen ist leider relativ ungewürzt. Nicht nur im Hinblick auf die Schärfe, sondern auch mit Blick auf den Geschmack insgesamt. Sämtliche Soßen schmeckten grundsätzlich gleich (nach Sahne), das war es dann aber auch schon. Ferner spricht die Bedienung derartig schlecht Deutsch oder Englisch, dass eine Kommunikation außerhalb der Nummern auf der Speisekarte nahezu ausgeschlossen ist. Dementsprechend wurden auch mehrere Bestellungen falsch oder gar nicht serviert. Mit Blick auf die für Göttinger Verhältnisse sehr hohen Preise gibt es auch in Göttingen weitaus bessere Alternativen.

Ich habe kürzlich das "India Haus" in Göttingen besucht und es war eine fantastische Erfahrung! Das Essen war absolut köstlich - die Aromen der indischen Küche waren exquisit. Jedes Gericht, das ich probiert habe, war ein echter Genuss. Was das "India Haus" jedoch wirklich auszeichnet, ist die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit des Personals. Die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst aufmerksam und bemüht, sicherzustellen, dass sich die Gäste rundum wohl fühlen. Das hat meinen Besuch zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der authentische indische Küche und eine warme Atmosphäre sucht. Das "India Haus" in Göttingen hat sich einen festen Platz in meinem Herzen erobert, und ich freue mich schon darauf, bald wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für einen unvergesslichen Abend!

Nette Bedienung, sehr gut zubereitet, auf Wunsch nicht zu scharf und das gut umgesetzt. Esse gerne Curry und war hier rundum zufrieden. Einrichtung sieht super aus, Stühle sind bequem.

Un sitio perfecto para venir a comer, sola o con amigos, la comida exquisita y el servicio muy amable. Si volvemos a Gottingein, repetiría sin duda. Tienen un postre de mango riquísimo. :)

I do not like the atmosphere of the place. It's very closed environment. The food is nice. They served Samosa with Chana masala. The biryani was nice. The Dosa was not okay. They only give 5 gol gappas is 5 euros. You can get the same gol gappa packet with 100 gol gappas in 6 euros (in any indian grocery store). I was disappointed with the gol gappas. The curry was very sweet.

Preis-/Leistung passte nicht bei allen unserer bestellten Gerichten. Service war insgesamt träge, Zeit bis das Essen kam recht lang. Außer dem Ambiente kann der Inder direkt daneben alles etwas besser.

Wir waren als Touristen für ein Wochenende in Göttingen und sind direkt am ersten Abend hier "gelandet ": leckeres Curry, Portion war für mich ok, für Männer vielleicht ein bisschen wenig. Kein großer Schnickschnack, aufs Wichtigste reduziert. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, auch innen sehr nett, wir haben allerdings draußen gesessen.

This restaurant has such a great vibe. It's one of the more expensive ones for sure. But the food is absolutely on point. The servers speak English. And the owner of the restaurant (with the turban) is the sweetest! 🍛 Definitely going back here again

Bin schon so oft zur Mittagspause dort eingekehrt. Preis Leistung stimmt. Meine Empfehlung im Bekanntenkreis war immer mit positiven Erfahrungen bestätigt. Weiter so.

Unser Essen hat total überzeugt! Meines Erachtens der beste Inder in Göttingen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Reservierung war über Google kinderleicht. Der Service und das Ambiente vor Ort waren wirklich klasse und die Mitarbeiter lieb, lustig und überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Mit 38,00 € für zwei Personen auch sehr faire Preise.

Встретили Рождественский вечер в этом ресторане. В дождливый вечер здесь было тепло и уютно. Вкусная еда и очень приветливый персонал. Молодой человек, который нас обслуживал, к счастью знает много языков. Мы остались очень довольны 💗
