I ate lam in spinach, it was excellent. The ambience is very appealing. Tastefully decorated and we were in a small group and had pleasant space. Give it a try, I'll definitely go there again to eat.

The food was very tasty and it was delivered quickly without a long waiting time and the interior design is very comfortable, which gives you the feeling that you are not eating in a German restaurant at the moment. The staff are very accommodating and polite. There is a parking lot right around the corner, which makes getting to the restaurant easier. Additionally, it is in a quiet area with little hustle and bustle, which is good if you want to switch off. Best regards Luis

Amazing delicious food and at par for an Indian taste❤️ I ordered Bhuna ghost and Butter garlic nan. I also ordered Chicken Chilli dry as starter. If you re missing India and wants to taste Indian food then its a must visit in Ismaning. Service was fast 😍 and the staff also were very friendly. White wine laguna is a must try as well. Price is reasonable.

It was quite excellent! We were more than completely satisfied with everything. There is something on the menu for every taste. spicy, mild, vegan, vegetarian, fish or meat - there's something to suit everyone :) we'll definitely be back!

As a flight attendant I’ve tried Indian food all around the world, and this is by far the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Chicken Vindaloo was perfect as was the vegetable samosas. The service was incredible and the outdoor seating is magical. I wish I could give this place 100 stars.

Ordered food last night - delivery. We had five dishes. The food itself was very tasty. However, one dish was delivered incorrectly, a hair was found in another dish and a fingernail was found in another dish. Absolutely disgusting!!! I have never experienced anything like it.

We dined here on 3/18/24 with a small group. We had vegans and non-vegans in the group. There was something for everyone. Everyone enjoyed it very tasty. The food came at the same time and the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended.

The best Indian food I've had in a long time. Flavorful, generous, friendly. We were thrilled by the vegetarian variety. The lentil soup was very tasty. The homemade cheese in a spicy sauce and the spicy Jalfreezi vegetables were excellent. However, the yeast bread filled with cheese, excellently seasoned and the naan bread filled with onions are unbeatable. Highly recommended.

I can only recommend! Another restaurant moved our reservation, which is why we called Safran at very short notice and were unexpectedly lucky that there were still seats available for us. The service was great, the waitresses were really very friendly, caring and competent. The food was really tasty and we were all very happy with it. The atmosphere was nice, bright, spacious, pleasant. I'm really happy and grateful that we ended up there so unexpectedly that evening! I would come again and again and I felt completely comfortable. I'm already looking forward to the outdoor area in the summer! The large umbrella looked promising. Thank you for everything!

After reopening with new owners, even better than before (Haveli was also very good for years)! Now as Safran a great, friendly team and very, very good food. Both on site and delivered.

Authentic high quality Indian cuisine. The food was really delicious, definitely plentiful and totally appropriate for the price. Another positive thing to note is that there is generally a lot to choose from but also a wide range of vegetarian/vegan dishes. There's something for everyone here. The mango lassi was also very good. The service is really nice and relaxed, really cool people. All in all, just a top restaurant that I will visit again as soon as possible :)

This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. I have brought here my Indian best friend who comes from Mumbai and she said that the food is really authentic. The choice in the menu is HUGE, meals can be totally mild or extra spicy, there are tons of vegetarian and vegan options too. We had vegetarian starters (samosa and onion bhaji), 1 paneer tikka butter masala and 1 mango duck as main courses, and butter naan. Everything was PHENOMENAL, definitely going back and recommending to anybody. Very spacious and relaxed ambience too.

In a class of its own since the new operator took over. I haven't had anything better with the mango chicken and the mango cream with vanilla ice cream. Really excellent and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit - especially if you've only been to the old restaurant. A lot has happened here!

Wir waren jetzt längere Zeit nicht mehr im Safran, dem früheren Haveli und waren angenhme überrascht. Ein neues Team und ein neues Ambiente gegüßte uns herzlich. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service war gewohnt seehr gut. Wir wünschen dem Safran und seinem Team viel erfolg und weiter so. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Safran mit einer größeren Gruppe und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wurde uns verhältnismäßig schnell serviert. Die Portionen waren angemessen und es wurde auch Reis auf Nachfrage nachgefüllt. Zu Beginn gab es eine Vorspeise und als Abschluss einen Nachtisch auf‘s Haus. Gerne kommen wir wieder!
