The sauces were too heavy, I couldn't really taste the meat, I couldn't tell if there was seating, it didn't meet my expectations, and moreover, (because it's outside of Europe) they charge a commission on Turkish credit cards even though I use Visa, strange but true. I thought this was normal in Cologne, but they didn't charge commission anywhere else. I was actually going to give 3 stars, but I deducted 1 star because of this.

Delicious quick option for quality Döner!

The döner was delicious, and the portion was large. However, we can't say we liked the atmosphere. It was very small and didn't seem very hygienic, to be honest. Could you find better ones? Yes, but this one is above average.

The beef and chicken kebabs are really good, and the falafels are delicious! It was amazing 😋

Bad food, not tasty enough,chicken-döner not enough cooked. The Place was like destroyed, a mess, walls and windows were like left like this after war or sth.. Self-service, so there’s no rating for service, workers were kind. Only the fries were tasty actually. The star is for the fries. It is located in such a central place, into the heart of “Alter Markt” and this restaurant is left like this… It was shocking and disappointing…

The food is okay, but the meat isn't good. The service is okay, friendly, but not the best. If you order food in, you eat in the attic. It's a lot of construction.

Very delicious Döner! I tried a Döner in Taschenbrot. The meat was very tasty and nicely spiced. The vegetables were fresh. Unfortunately, the Döner didn’t have much meat inside, but otherwise it was perfect. Recommended!

The staff was super rude. The place was super dirty and unprofessional. The dining area was super nasty and small. The tables were dirty and greasy and not accessible. Even the plate they gave us and put the food in wasn't washed at all and it was so greasy that it fell from my hands a couple of times. You could easily see what the last person eat on it .The food was okay but they didn't had the normal options like hot sauce ( i don't know which kind of dönershop don't have hot sauce...) and the whole döner was filled with onions only, which didn't give a good flavor and wasn't balanced at all. Honestly I went there because of the good reviews and I was super disappointed.

I think it's a good place to eat, but it's very dark at the tables. There are also Sprite and Coke boxes everywhere. However, the food makes up for it. Very tasty. (December 21, 2025)

We visited Haus des Döners in Cologne and ordered two döner sandwiches. The sauces were really good; they had the usual options: spicy sauce, seasoned sauce, and garlic sauce. I chose all except the spicy one because it’s really hot 😊 The fillings were rich, the meat was tasty, and the vegetables like lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Portion size was also satisfying. We had ayran as a drink, and it was quite good as well. We ate upstairs, and I think the upper floor needs a bit more attention; tables should be cleaned more frequently, and the construction area look should be fixed as soon as possible. The staff were Turkish and very attentive, the service was friendly and fast. Overall, the döner was delicious and we definitely recommend it. 🍴👍

One of the best doner kebabs I've ever eaten: a trusty chicken doner with everything and a little bit spicy – ​​the best! Wow, that was the best döner place so far. The falafel was delicious!! Super good portions, very tasty food, the guys were very helpful and understanding what we asked for as it was our first time at this place. Definitely recommend!!

We tried both the beef and chicken döner; the flavors are decent, the sauce balance is really good in my opinion, and the portions are very filling. The place itself is quite small, and there is an upstairs seating area, but to be honest it didn’t feel very hygienic to us. So it works much better as take away.

I ordered a falafel wrap. It was very difficult to eat because it was really big. And my friend ordered a doner wrap. There was more salad than meat in the doner. I don't think we'll go there again.

There are seating areas upstairs inside, but it's like construction. It's more suitable for takeout and go; the flavor wasn't bad, but it was a bit salty. We've tried this brand's döner at several locations, and other than being a bit salty, it wasn't bad.

Food good but no seating very bad ambience

Tasty kebab. Worth going to get it if you're hungry. The pita bread was good, and of course the kebab itself. A bit tight on seating, especially since it wasn't possible to sit outside at that moment. But if you take it with you, or come during a non-busy time. We ate two kebabs on pita bread, one French fries and two 0.25l drinks, cost 27e.

I ordered an 8.50 euro bill and they charged me 0.33 euros more. When I asked why, they said it was because I didn't have a European card. I've never had a restaurant charge me more for a non-European card in Germany or other European countries, but they did here; lol. I thought it was okay that they didn't show me the card reader and charged me, but even though it wasn't much, it was still really annoying. I saw another review that said, "They tried to charge me 0.50 euros more, so be careful of scams," but I missed it and regretted it. The food wasn't bad, but I was so upset that they made me feel bad for a mere 500 won, so I'm writing this review. There's a sign outside the restaurant asking for Google reviews, so if Google reviews are that important to you, don't get scammed. ^^..
