Very good kebab, the vegetables and lemon juice at the end are what make it special. The wait is long; if you're not prepared to stand in line for a kebab, you'll naturally be disappointed, no matter how good the kebab is. And I don't know if there's any kebab in the world worth waiting in line for, but my 40 minutes were worth it.

A completely standard Berlin kebab. Overpriced, and the wait time is excruciating. It's not worth it, but you can go there if you have low expectations. The employees are overworked and do a great job, and they're very friendly.

Not bad, not bad… don't expect miracles, but it's a must-see for street food lovers. There will be a line, that's for sure, 30 minutes in a low voice, the bartender is really cute.

The döner is good but it is not worth waiting in line for 2.5 hours. I think they are deliberately slow and it is not a humane place.

Waiting time too long, not worth it

Completely overrated. This was my most boring, mushy kebab ever. The bread was way too fluffy, the vegetables were mushy, the meat was greasy. I didn't even want to finish it. Luckily we didn't wait long, otherwise I would have been even more annoyed. Those poor people who think this is a good kebab have simply never tried any other vegetable or chicken kebabs.

We arrived at 9:45 AM on Saturday morning, and there were already five people in line ahead of us. The restaurant opened promptly at 10:00 AM, but each order took 3–5 minutes to prepare, so our turn didn't arrive until around 10:20 AM. We ordered bread and a wrap, both of which were delicious. I don't think it's worth waiting in line for two hours, but if you absolutely have to go, I recommend arriving before opening.

At first I thought it was just an overrated, popular place, but it turned out that I didn't just stand in line, I tried the best kebab of my life right here. A rare case when the popularity of a place justified the reality. I liked the variety and combination of vegetables in the kebab.

A year ago, we were just across the street, and it was really delicious, but since they changed sides of the street, the kebab has changed completely. It was a huge disappointment. After eating it, we all had severe stomach aches, and one of us even got food poisoning (nausea, diarrhea, fever, and a severe headache). We will never visit the shop again. None of us have ever felt this bad.

A takeaway place where you can get chicken kebabs. The complete version, complete with vegetables, sauces, spices, and mint, is out of this world! It's a shame there's no seating, and obviously they don't sell alcohol. During peak hours, the wait can be a bit long. Definitely worth a try.

I think the wrap is delicious, but I waited in line for 2.5 hours. I don't think it's suitable for people with herniated discs, scoliosis, restless leg syndrome, or back pain. As many reviews have noted, the staff is insufficient. And the staff is quite slow. In other words, the same person makes the wraps, takes the money, and serves the drinks. Therefore, I think it's somewhat unhygienic.

It's a delicious dish worth trying. It's presented differently than the döner kebab we ate in Türkiye. By the way, there's no meat option, only chicken. We waited in line for about an hour, and there's no way to sit; you just grab it and leave. Including a drink, it's around €10.

Mustafa's Vegetable Kebab is, in my opinion, one of the best kebab shops I've ever visited. The fresh sauces, perfectly grilled vegetables, and crispy bread pair beautifully with the juicy, exceptionally high-quality chicken. You can tell they place a lot of emphasis on fresh ingredients. As a Berliner, I've never been much into typical tourist hotspots, but this shop is actually the perfect place to introduce non-Berliners to the "real" Berlin kebab. I regularly eat here with my training buddies after training, and the quality impresses me every time. Another plus point: the opening hours are ideal if you want something really good to eat after a long day or after a workout. In conclusion: Mustafa's Vegetable Kebab is a real highlight that perfectly combines tradition, quality, and taste. Highly recommended!

They've moved across the street! You can also pay by card. The kebab was absolutely delicious!! We waited 30 minutes with about 20 people ahead of us (around midnight). They are a bit slow, yes. Recommended!! But I wouldn't wait in line any longer. I don't understand the reviews about the wait time; who would wait two hours for a kebab?! If you're willing to wait two hours, you shouldn't complain about the line.

Absolutely not worth it (this extremely long queue for the famous "chicken döner"). The reason for my low score: they do it deliberately. They've only made one döner when they could have given it to everyone in 15 minutes, but they're pretending to prepare it for one person in 15 minutes.

Two hours in line waiting for the best kebab in the world

I stood in line for over an hour on Sunday morning, only to realize at the end: I'm actually in line for junk. Behind the counter were two guys chatting endlessly about their night out – one of them looked like he'd fallen straight out of a shisha bar. Speed? Ridiculous. The bread/flatbread? Cold, half-dry flatbreads left open and then artificially respired in the sandwich toaster. For what's supposedly the world's best kebab, that's a disgrace. The kebab itself: squashed like a packed lunch after three days in a backpack, over-seasoned, and tasted at best like a train station's 5 a.m. meal. Conclusion: More myth than meal. Great line, kebab flop.

I finally managed to try this kebab that the whole world is talking about. The line was a good 40 minutes long, so you have to wait a while. The meat, salads, and roasted vegetables all tasted very good, but the kebab was a bit too dry for my taste; it could use more sauces because you can't taste them. The staff doesn't seem to rush, although that's no surprise when they do the same thing all day. They speak different languages, are polite, and cater to every kebab craving. It's a really nice place. The only downside is the lack of space to sit down and enjoy a quiet meal. A kebab in a bun is 7.90, a tortilla is 9.10, a bit much, but that's Mustafa 😉 There's no parking, just a few spots, and everything is pretty busy.

We didn't try any others, but this kebab is very, very good. It's large, the meat is very flavorful, and it's accompanied by a variety of vegetables, sauces, and cheese. The downside is that there's always a long line to order, and there are no tables inside. Outside, there are only a couple of benches nearby, but because there are so many people, it's impossible to get them.

Just an average kebab. They're clearly riding on a cloud of popularity. It's definitely not worth waiting two hours in line for it. The day before, we ate at Rüyam Gemüse Kebab, and that kebab was fantastic. And the lines were much shorter. I definitely recommend eating at a competitor's place rather than wasting two hours in line and being disappointed.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed. I was there on a weekday Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., because the wait time here is apparently usually pretty long. So, I had correspondingly high expectations. Even at 10:00 a.m., there was already a line of nine people, and I had to wait about 30 minutes. The kebab was definitely tasty, but not overwhelming. I found the sauces very simple, and they just tasted like ketchup and not really that good. I also found some of the vegetables better in other shops. Unfortunately, there are no seats, and no restrooms either. I think the herd effect is to blame for its extreme popularity.

Right on the street is the small kebab kiosk, where people can already be seen lining up to buy from afar. 𝗗𝘂̈𝗿𝘂̈𝗺🌯 That's the name of the kebab I ordered. They only have three types: the Dürüm, which comes wrapped in the typical wheat tortilla we're familiar with. Then there's the Hahnchen, which comes in pita bread. They also have another vegetarian version. It's really, really good; it has a completely different flavor than the ones I ate on my trip to Greece. Perhaps a more spicy flavor. The price is around €6.50, and it's quite large, although I could have easily eaten two. 😅 But if you're a normal person, then one is enough. 📸I'd say it's a must-stop if you visit Berlin. 🇩🇪 It's right on the street, and it was quite cold, so I had to eat quickly, but it's definitely worth it.

Overhyped by social media. Not worth waiting in queue for 2 HOURS!!! Sorry to yuck your yum but I was disappointed by the whole experience. The queue moves at a snail’s pace on weekends and holidays. It’s a nice kebap but there are many other places in Berlin where you can find much better and tastier kebaps without having to wait for 2 hours. No place to use toilets or any benches to sit nearby. I am from London and used to waiting in queues but this was a stretch even by London standard. We waited in pouring rain and wind, everyone stood in distress. By the time we got to order, wrap was sold out. No one told us while we waited for so long. Very poor customer service. No care for people waiting outside. Many places offer hot Turkish tea (complimentary) while people wait. There are no fries with doner. Just kebap. The service can be a lot more efficient with a few changes to their ordering and packaging system. Or get a bigger place and employ temporary staff on busy days! I would not recommend this place purely because of the waiting times. If you can come on a weekday, you might get lucky!

Tasty, huge and different from the döner I normally eat in NRW. I’d return for a second time. What I didn’t like is the taste of mint in the döner, just not my preference.

Tourists beware, this place is bad for almost any experience. The food is just ok, many other gemüse döner places around that are better. I have been here three times. First time the line was maybe 25 minutes, which is long for what you get, and the food was good, but not special. The second time it was 45 minutes, which is pushing patience to be honest, and they ran out of bread so we never got any food. The third time, I only waited again because a friend wanted to try it... The third time was a 2!! Hour wait. That's insane. To make it worse, most of that time the employees were just being super super slow motion, taking breaks and so on, i think to make the line longer because and build hype. No bread or other ingredients were ever brought in.l, so they clearly hadn't run out. I hated watching this because when I got to about 10 people before ordering, they closed and moved the remaining meat off the grill and basically said sorry not sorry to everyone that was waiting for 2+hours. Do not support this tourist trap restaurant and it's slow moving employees. Don't believe the hype, don't wait, get a same as here gemüse döner in many other places in just minutes. I'm very disappointed with the Mustafa crew for being this badly managed the two times in a row and closing with plenty of food still left after people had waited 2+hours. Never again will i try to bring anyone here.

An excellent kebab, well-filled with lots of vegetables and meat. It's very generous. I expected a longer wait based on what I'd read, but there weren't many people there when we went. Less than 20 minutes of waiting. I recommend it; to avoid a shorter line, I think you should go during off-peak hours.

Line was only 10 people and it took over 40 minutes to even place the order?? Every other Gemüse kebap is I guess max 10-15 mins? Go to Ruyam in Schöneberg instead!

A place that never runs out of lines but is worth the wait

I went to Mustafa Kebab twice. The first time was around 3pm, we thought it would be quieter at that hour, but after 30 minutes in line we had barely moved, so we left. The next day we tried again around 11am. The line was only about 5 meters, but it still took 1 hour to get served. The kebabs are good, but the service is very slow, with only two cooks who don’t seem to be in a hurry. Overall, I find it overrated..

honestly I expected something way way better. It was OK. The bread was dry and the proportion between vegetables and meat wasn't great - I barely felt the chicken (which was really good) in my mouth because there was so little of it... well, I believe it used to be great before becoming a hit but It didn't convince me now

If you catch it at the right time of the day - the line can be only 6 people or so. The food is so fresh and flavorful. Chicken was not dry. Grilled veggies were so good! Highly recommend!

When the line was only 8 people - we had to join and try this amazing food! Very fresh, grilled veggies are so good - had potatoes and even eggplant in the mix. Chicken was not dry but very juicy and purely delicious! Would definitely eat it again! They do take credit cards too.

We thought the line would be quick, but it wasn't what we expected. If I lived in Berlin, I wouldn't even consider going in if there were more than five people waiting. The line, 15 to 20 people at most, took two hours. We spent two hours just waiting and waiting. While I said I wasn't very hungry, my stomach started growling as I ordered. The flavor was excellent, but I wasn't sure if it was worth the wait. The next day, we went to Döner Inn and had a similar döner kebab without waiting. In short, if it's your first time and you have the time, go for it.

Tried Mustafa because of the hype. Food was good, sauce was so spicy I needed salty milk therapy. Staff weren’t too friendly.. more “Mustn’t-afa smile.” Ordering system is confusing: inside first, then outside pickup. We waited 15 minutes just for sauce. Good food, chaotic vibes.

We waited two hours for a doner kebab – a chicken doner with vegetables – good value for money. Service was okay. I personally found the taste a bit salty. But it was the first time I'd finished a doner kebab on my own. The staff was very friendly and in a good mood.

The best kebap i've every tried

We waited in line for an hour or so for this kebab. It was good, and the portions were quite large. Hygiene inside the restaurant was poor, and there was a lot of confusion behind the counter, with bowls of mixed and jumbled ingredients. However, you shouldn't wait that long... Three people, chatting away, were just wasting their time.

Friends once brought one because the line was short, and I can't really reflect the reviews. The meat was overly seasoned (marinated) and barely there, the bread was a disaster, and the salad soaked everything (I ordered it without the dressing). On top of that, they added cheap cheese without asking.

The döner tasted good, with a high proportion of chicken. Sauces and veggies make it nutritious and we were full after. Good price mark. BUT! It's definitely not worth the waiting time, there are better döner kebap shops in Berlin with no waiting time. It wasn't way different than a random Berlin döner shop.
