EDIT November 2024 - Back to 5 stars! The old owners are back! So happy!! My favourite gemüse kebab is back 🥹❤️ June 2024 - It was my favourite kebab until last week. They told us they changed their owner so they couldn’t stamp my fidelity card… we ordered two kebabs for 15e in total, one was way smaller than the other, more or less the same recipe but not the same quality as before. It was ok but my craving was really not satisfied, especially for 7€50. And I miss the joy of the guys who were there before 😕

UPDATE!!! THE OLD OWNER AND HIS WIFE ARE BACK AND THE DÖNER FINALLY TASTES LIKE BEFORE! 🫶🏼😭 I hope the owners read this: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Love you for that!

Update 10/24: unfortunately changed ownership. Now absolutely mediocre to bad Best vegetable kebab in town. Forget Mehringdamm and Friedrichshain, not only is the food good here, but the service is always friendly and fun!

It's gotten significantly worse than before, as others have said here

From 2021 to 2022, I used to regularly visit this place for lunch. The doner was amazing and the owners were really friendly. In 2023, I moved to a different place so only visited here once or twice in that year. Flash forward to this year, as I moved to a closer place, I visited this place again and the owner has changed. That didn't bother me that much but what did was the taste of the doner. The quality had declined which was a real disappointment. The only good thing was that they took card payments now. From my go to place to probably not visiting again.

Once upon a time there was a success story, a real institution in Moabit. But the new operators have put them against the tree - what once flourished has now faded. One wonders: How could it come to this?

I was a regular customer here and always enjoyed eating the kebabs there. Unfortunately, the quality and, above all, hygiene of some new employees has recently been noticeably poor. But today was enough. I wanted a kebab and when I arrived the employee was sorting out coins and then he touched the kebab bread with the same hands. I politely asked him to wash his hands, to which he just said no.. so you have lost a regular customer and not one It's a wonder I had stomach problems after visiting you recently.

I bet it's the only place in Berlin

It used to be one of, if not THE, best kebab in Moabit, but the owner seems to have changed - now the kebab is no longer recognizable! Too bad, too bad.

It's shocking how much the quality has deteriorated! The meat is no longer seasoned as usual. The sauce and the feta were sour and the fried vegetables only consisted of frozen fries. 😅 It's a real shame, it was my favorite kebab in Moabit for a long time. Wouldn't go there anymore.

Geheimtipp. Absolut underrated der Laden! Bester Döner in Berlin. Diese Komposition von Döner einfach nur legendär. Das Brot, die Saucen, das Gemüse, die Minze, die Limette, der Granatapfelsirup, der Hirtenkäse. Üfff!!

The quality has deteriorated rapidly over the past few weeks. This used to be the best vegetable kebab in Berlin, but now it tastes completely different. Meat quality was excellent, cheap salad, unrecognizable sauces, hardly any vegetables. Really disappointed. RIP

Update: The owners changed a few times and since about a week (July 2024), the quality has dropped significantly. Would not recommend anymore. RIP. Outdated: A very tasty Döner and also very tasty Dürüm. One of the best in Berlin, definitely best in Moabit. There are also vegetarian options that are also tasty, the grilled vegetables have a lot of flavor.

I've been here twice within a month and had bad stomach pains twice afterwards - I won't be going there from now on.

Very tasty kebab, never been here before and was surprised at how good the kebab was. The meat is very crispy and the salad is fresh. Very tasty sauces. Nice service. Really great!

I moved away from Moabit after 16 years, I will miss you very much and would be happy to visit you again at every opportunity. Super fresh vegetables, well-seasoned meat, world-class bread and very nice employees who keep an overview and smile even at peak times. I recommend the Dürüm!

Favorit Gemüse kebab was unfortunately far from our favourite. We had chicken dürum . It was pretty tasteless , compared to good döner places in Berlin . Also the staff failed to wrap it properly resulting in a leaky and difficult to eat roll.

In my opinion, the best Dönner in Berlin! If you want to queue for hours to get something mediocre, by all means go to the much-hyped Mustafa's in Mehringdamm but if you want great quality, for a great price and fast service you should definitely venture to Favorit in Moabit. Does what is says on the tin: My absolute favorite!!!

May Day in Berlin and Kebab are a great idea. Food very good, service super nice. The men will easily help you choose and will do everything for you. For me, they beat all the ones I've ever eaten. It's best to take away because there are only 3 tables and you have to wait until they become available.

Very tasty kebab, the meat was crispy, the salad was fresh, the vegetables were well seasoned, the bread was as it should be. The sauces (I had herbs/garlic and spicy) were also very tasty. Overall very juicy and a good portion.

It tastes different every time, I used to like it better

update 2024: i loved this place. unfortunately it is not what it used to be anymore. i dont know if they changed owners or what (ín the past there was usually this man and a woman making food, nowadays its somebody else every time i go) but i was dissapointed the last 4 times i went. yes, i wanted to give them the chance. they still try, i guess. there is still grilled vegetables, that extra feta cheese and lime. but it just doesnt taste that good anymore. sometimes i find a cartilage, other times the dürüm is smaller or they put potatoes in it as a cheap filler. the magic is gone. i am dissapointed, ill have to find another place. big sad there is not much to say other than this is really the best kebab in Moabit maybe in whole Berlin. i will go out of my way just to eat here. small place, easy to overlook, but it is so worth it. i usually get myself a dürüm. the wrap is thicker than what other places use. apart from tasty meat and sauces they really bring it to next level with the fried veggies, cheese and lime. can only recommend.

best. I've been going here for years because the price-performance ratio is just right, despite the higher prices. more sauces on top than anywhere else. always fresh. decent portion. fast. always correct

Very good vegetable kebab - both vegetarian and with meat! Great selection of sauces and vegetables, the bread was perfect too. Everything is fresh and tastes really delicious. The meat is well seasoned and not too fatty. The falafel in the vegetarian kebab was also very good and not dry at all. The service was totally friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to try and every special wish was fulfilled. The only thing we would have liked was a little more sauce, but overall it was great!

I've never been disappointed. Doner always 10/10. Everything fresh, extremely large selection of sauces. Employees always very friendly. Only the bread is always a bit too soft for my taste, I prefer it really crispy, but that's certainly subjective.

Unfortunately, you are allowed to smoke right before landing. Which inhibits the appetite as a non-smoker. Therefore, I had to go after friendly requests. The staff didn't care. Unfortunately very sad. Smoking right before the food is served is just disgusting, sorry it's not possible.

Türkiye’den gidip ne yapayım Berlin’de döneri diye düşünmeyin, bizdekinden daha farklı kendilerine has cok lezzetli soslarla hazırlanıyor. Döner sebze kızartmayla beraber hazırlanıp üstüne peynir rende edilip limon sıkılıyor, farklı ve denenmeli dediğim bir lezzet. Ellerinize sağlık 🙂

Bester Döner in Moabit! Mit 7 verschiedenen Sossen, inkl. Guacamole und 4 verschiedenen Sorten Chilipulver, hebt er sich deutlich von der breiten Masse ab. Ähnlich gut wie Mustafa's Döner, nur ohne 1 Std. anstehen! Dazu ein freundlicher Service, der gute Laune macht!

This was excellent! Apparently, gemüse kebap is what you have to get in Berlin, and it did not disappoint! I got the “regular” one with chicken; the bread is lightly toasted and strong enough to hold everything together but tender at the same time. They have a bunch of sauces you can choose from, and you can choose several. Then you specify what vegetables you want on top, like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, etc. The portion is HUGE! The combination of flavors is just right. The person serving us (who I assumed was the owner) was super friendly, and bonus: he spoke English! You should definitely try this place!

Wirklich einer der besten veganen Döner, die ich je gegessen habe! Charmanter und kompetenter Service. Das Brot ist außen knusprig, innen weich - genau wie es sein sollte. Es gab drei verschiedene vegane Soßen, von denen ich Hummus und die Chillisoße hatte, eine richtig harmonische Kombi! Dann gab zu dem leckeren Seitan auch noch gebratenes Gemüse und frischen Salat und als ob das nicht schon reichen würde, um ein erstklassiges veganes Dönererlebnis zu gewährleisten, habe ich dann noch das Angebot angenommen, Granatapfelkerne und Gewürze drüber streuen zu lassen!

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter geben sich Mühe es Frisch den Kunden zu geben die Sitzmöglichkeiten beim Essen auf die Schnelle sind auch Toll besonders die Saucen Auswahl ist ein Hammer inmer wieder gerne empfehlenswert der Dürüm😃.

Der beste Döner, den ich je gegessen habe. Der Zitronensaft macht den Döner erfrischend, das Gemüse harmoniert sehr gut mit dem Hähnchen. Empfehlenswert Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top

Ein von außen eher unscheinbarer Imbiss, der sich aber nicht verstecken muss! Super Döner & Kebap mit gutem(!) Fleisch und leckerem Grillgemüse abgeschmeckt mit Fetastückchen und frischen Limettenspritzern. Die Auswahl der Soßen (Avocado, Sesam, Chili, Kräuter …) ist so vielfältig, wie alle lecker sind. Vegetarische und vegane Optionen (Halloumi, Seitan, Falafel) inkl. passender Soßen (vegan) vorhanden. Kurz und knapp: Der für mich beste Dönerladen in Moabit!

Man hat die ganze Zeit das Gefühl, dass etwas fehlt. Ich finde, das Fleisch hat keinen Eigengeschmack. Und ein Verkäufer hat ein Waschbecken geworfen. Dabei arbeite nicht mal als Klempner

Früher war es mein Lieblings-Gemüse-Döner, weil der Döner aus viel Gemüse und nur wenigen Kartoffeln bestand! Die Saucen waren top und die Leute super nett. Früher kostete der Dürüm 4,50€, jetzt sind es 7€!!! und der Döner ist jetzt mit viel Kartoffeln und nur ganz wenig Gemüse gefüllt. Enttäuschend! Die Saucen sind ebenfalls weniger schmackhaft. Leider wesentlich schlechter als früher, dafür erheblich teurer. Von meiner Liste gestrichen!?

Absolutely the best Döner I've had in Berlin. Great veggie choices also, and the vegetables were so tasty. And the Döner mit Brod was very good value for money. Great selection of different sauces. Very tasty kebap.

Leckerste Dürüm meines Lebens mit 7 frischen Saucen zur Auswahl, gegrilltem Gemüse aus der Fritteuse, aber nicht fett, leckerem Scheiben-Fleisch, frischem Salat in leckerem, selbst gebackenem Teig, sehr sehr lecker, dazu etwas weiß Käse auf Wunsch. Lecker, Traum, man könnte 2 essen, wenn nicht einer schon so satt machen würde :-) geht hin! 7 Sterne! Auch vegetarisch perfektes Angebot.

Super leckerer Döner! Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Seitan Döner und sind hier fündig geworden! Total netter Service, tolle selbstgemachte Soßen, es gab sogar noch frische Limette über den Döner. Hatten wir so auch noch nicht, hat aber wirklich gut geschmeckt und noch mal einen besonderen Kick gegeben. Das Grillgemüse im Döner war das absolute Highlight! Absolute Empfehlung, vorallem wenn man eine Alternative zum Fleisch Döner sucht! Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung, auch wegen des netten Personals!
