I don't understand the hype surrounding this kebab. It's always a disappointment. Thinly sliced, barely cooked kebab meat. Zero flavor. I live right next door, but I always get my kebab one stop further along at Kleistpark. Every kebab at Kotti is better.

First of all, thank you to the caring and polite staff. However, beef doner may be the least satisfying dish I've had in Berlin over the years. It felt like I ate cold salad and cold vegetables rather than doner kebab. I couldn't taste the meat at all because it was so little. If I went to another ordinary doner restaurant, I would know that I was eating meat. I'm sorry but I never got that taste here. A famous place that makes a name for itself must be close to perfection.

We were frozen by the cold and ordered soup here. The lentil soup arrived lukewarm, which is why we didn't enjoy it. Afterwards we ordered a meze platter which was also very bad. After trying these dishes we decided not to order anything else as it was mediocre overall. There was a kebab restaurant right next door from the same operator, but we didn't go in. What also bothered us was that the chef reprimanded a waitress in a rude manner in front of us. Such inappropriate conversations in front of guests are absolutely inappropriate. Overall, we didn't enjoy our visit. We paid 26 euros for 2 soups, 1 large water and a small meze platter. (Date 12/29/2024)

Been going here for years now, very consistent product, their normal kebab is pretty much my favorite no-bs classic style Döner Kebab in Berlin, the sauces are perfectly balanced in my opinion (important key to a good kebab, also they never mess up 'alles komplett' ie they know how to assemble a kebab). I only really ever get the beef one, the chicken one is good but their beef shines in the crispy bread and savory sauces 👌

There‘s two lines, one for beef one for chicken. The beef line is long, Döner was cold and Kräuter Sauce is a Curry Sauce. It’s not for me and the long line in no way justified. The chicken option has grilled veggies which makes the Döner warm, go for that one if you have no other place to eat. What else? Ambiente in a plastic tent: zero.

I'm not a fan of kebab in general, but my partner likes to eat it. So we made the long journey and drove right here to try it. Well, what can I say, as a non-kebab fan I can say that it was the best kebab of my life. The sauces are amazing and that's what defines the overall taste. The sauces bring out so much. If I didn't have to drive 2.5 hours for it, I would eat kebab more often.

And when it comes to sauces, someone has finally figured it out and is making them themselves instead of offering the standard sauce - which all (?) other kebabs in the world use. And you can taste it (I had garlic sauce)...very tasty! Keep it up.
