A nice little restaurant with a family atmosphere. Anyone who likes traditional dishes is in good hands here. I can highly recommend the restaurant “Zur Traube”.

On the occasion of our silver wedding, we went to dinner with friends and family in the Blue Donkey. Although the boss asked about the occasion when making the reservation, the table was in no way prepared for the occasion. There were no congratulations either. The coat hooks were already full, so that's it our jackets and coats were squished on the bench. The main course was served after 90 minutes, a dish was served after another 20 minutes of waiting time, and 1 dish was received incorrectly. There was neither compensation nor an apology from the waiter. Portions were very manageable for the high prices. The food was tasty good, but a Viennese schnitzel doesn't belong in the deep fryer. From our point of view, the staff (including the kitchen) were overwhelmed by the number of guests. Therefore, in my opinion, I would not recommend it.

Good home cooking with a top price/performance ratio

A great bistro with a top wine recommendation! The service is great. Perfect for the end of a day in Rostock!

The food was tasty but when we received the bill (written on a simple piece of paper) we were shocked. There is no menu so we couldn't see the prices for the food.

It was a dinner for two people. It was a voucher from our children. The atmosphere was great, it's a shame that you weren't alone. The couples sat very close together so it wasn't very private. That was a shame. A 5 course menu; It was quite good so far, just too much and served too quickly. Otherwise a nice hotel. Can really be seen. The service was super great. Keep it up.

We had lunch, all 3 fish dishes were so delicious!!! We were served friendly and the old ferry house was very comfortable! 5 stars from us ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍

Very nice people, very tasty and beautifully located. Was there the 2nd time. What has changed since February 24 is that there is now a parking monitoring system. Good solution to keep wild parkers away.

It's a very nice restaurant. Opportunities for large and small separate gatherings. When the weather is nice there is also a beer garden. The Rostock Zoo right next to it. The restaurant serves home-brewed beer. Events are also offered. Is worth a trip.
