If you want to have an unforgettable milestone birthday, then celebrate it at Fritz Reuter Stuben. I did, and it was a day that made me incredibly happy, not just for the moment. Despite being closed in December, the team made it possible for me and my guests to celebrate this special day in this restaurant. I will always be grateful to you for that! The kitchen treated us to a fantastic meal, and Karina fulfilled all our other wishes, taking care of us with such warmth and kindness. We lacked for nothing, and for that, I want to thank Alex, Karsten, Karina, and Sebastian from the bottom of my heart. It's wonderful that you exist!!!

We had our Christmas party there. Excellent food and good portions at reasonable prices in a charming, historic atmosphere. The service was very friendly and efficient, and the kitchen staff did a fantastic job. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We're repeat offenders, this is our third time here...and we'll be back many more times. We've never experienced such delicious and creatively prepared German home cooking. You can taste that the chef loves to cook and is passionate about it, and the service is incredibly friendly... 6 out of 5 stars!

I don't know how old the FRS is, but whenever I come to Europe, it's a regular stop for me. It's "like it used to be" in the very best sense. The menu is rather classic, but handmade and not from the freezer. Chef Alex mostly cooks himself, but he also has a fantastic, friendly, competent... and generally... team... I mean, a team of women. The FRS might be an insider tip, but it can't be that secret, because it's always packed, and if in doubt, you should make a reservation in advance.

We were very satisfied with our visit. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The decor has a certain "patina," but it's perfectly suited to this restaurant. All in all, we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Are you in Rostock? Whether you're a day tripper, on a longer vacation, or live here? Then stop by the Fritz-Reuter-Stuben. We've been there twice on our vacation because we were so impressed the first time. Karina, the waitress, is absolutely amazing. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her guests. Always in a good mood and with a lot of humor and charm. Since I had special requests, I can say, just ask, and Karina will make everything possible. The food was fantastic, so a big compliment to the chef. The restaurant is also child- and dog-friendly. We were absolutely thrilled, and if we travel from Hesse/Thuringia again, we will definitely be back at the Fritz-Reuter-Stuben.

Very good German cuisine and friendly service

Unfortunately, the taste was a total mess, and the catering was also a disaster...cold because no one felt responsible for lighting the tea lights. In the end, half of it was missing because it was delivered elsewhere. Not recommended...a shame.

Unassumingly located on a side street, but with a very idyllic courtyard/beer garden. Very friendly service and delicious food.

We visited the Fritz-Reuter-Stuben for the first time today – and we're seriously wondering why we didn't come here much sooner! The food was absolutely fantastic: fresh, delicious, and prepared with lots of love. We'd especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and personable service. Despite a minor mishap with the toilet seat (caused by our daughter – sorry again!), we were treated warmly and with a smile. And as a special highlight, they even conjured up a gluten-free version of the schnitzel for our daughter – thank you so much for that, we really couldn't take that for granted, and she loved it. One thing's for sure: We'll be back. And more often. An absolute recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food, warmth, and hospitality!

For me, one of the best restaurants in Rostock. Good, friendly service, fast service even when it's busy. The decor is rustic, but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment. There's also a lovely little beer garden. Homemade is the motto here, and you can taste it. Very good value for money. The schnitzels are always a treat. I enjoy coming here. Keep up the good work. As a native of Rostock, I've probably missed one of the most important attractions in my life so far—a visit to the Fritz Reuter Stube in the KTV, in Rostock. It's a pure joy, in these often complicated times, to experience such friendly, open-minded, and above all, hard-working young entrepreneurs. In a traditional restaurant, with a young chef, attentive staff, and a cuisine that is second to none and doesn't fear comparison with any other restaurant or hotel. Delicious dishes on the menu leave little to be desired, making it difficult to choose. The price-performance ratio is also definitely right here, because top quality has its value. As guests, we were simply overwhelmed by the naturalness, attention, and joy we received during our visit here; we are simply thrilled. Simply cozy, we felt welcome. Dear Alex, we wish you and your team continued success and even more satisfied guests. We'll be back, not a threat—a promise!

The reservation worked out very well, and the food was excellent! However, we weren't served again after the food was served! Only after asking did the waitress come, but she was very friendly! I would still gladly come back!

Can I recommend eating here?!? I can answer that with a resounding yes ;) The lady who has always served us is super friendly, open, and always has a cool joke ready. The food arrives at the table within a reasonable timeframe, in excellent condition, and tastes delicious. The only thing that's a bit annoying is that it takes a while to pay the bill. But that's because every guest is treated so well, so it takes a bit of time, and it's completely understandable that this is a priority.

A nice KTV location with history and tradition, functional, discreetly modernized and with a local flair! Fits perfectly into the surroundings! Food/drink and service were fine…no-frills, North German direct and with local specialties; No haute cuisine, why should it be, everything was perfect! Price/performance ratio is right! It's better to go there without a car, parking is difficult! Gladly again!

This is a classic german, but quality cuisine neighbourhood place. Food is actually very good, burgers are especially recommended. The staff is super nice, they pay all the attention.

After booking, you will receive a quick confirmation via email with good wishes for your arrival. We like to visit Fritz-Reuter-Str. 17. We lived here until around 1960. We enjoyed visiting the restaurant even back then. This tradition is continued today in a traditional form by the Fritz-Reuter-Stube. The food is fresh and always delicious, the service is friendly and always very attentive, regardless of whether there are 2 or more people in the courtyard or in the dining room. …. Will definitely come back next time you visit Rostock!

The food is good home cooking but excellent. I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Few dishes on the menu but very good quality. Had dinner here on Friday evening and the restaurant was full. I'd love to come back. Nice staff too!

The Reuter-Stuben have a certain charm of the eighties and nineties. The service, on the other hand, is extremely good. And the food? A dream. Homemade mashed potatoes with butter and peas is a poem!

A good restaurant where we were warmly welcomed even without a reservation. The food and beer were really tasty and the prices were appropriate for the time. If we are in the area again, a visit is not unlikely.

We were a group of girls and booked a table for 17 people. There were absolutely no problems with the reservation and we were set up with outdoor seating. At the beginning the weather was good, but unfortunately it started to rain after a short time. However, we were kindly offered two tables in the dry indoor area. The staff and the restaurant manager were very nice. After placing the orders, it didn't take long for everyone to get their food. All in all, the dinner in the Fritz Reuter Stuben was worth it - we would happily do so again.

Beautiful backyard with a quiet location in a garden atmosphere. The staff is relaxed, friendly and in a good mood. Particularly important: of course the food. Highly recommended asparagus on offer. Hollandaise sauce is freshly whipped and the meat is cooked to perfection. In any case, highly recommended!

Best store in KTV! From the rustic schnitzel to the really exceptionally good burger (cheese really means cheese and the beef is the finest!), there is a decent range of dishes at fair prices with nice service. And the Rostocker tastes just as good as ever...

Von Ambiente über das Service - Personal bis hin zum Essen alles hat ein Klasse Eindruck gemacht und hinterlassen. Wir waren spontan vor Ort mit 5 Personen. Ich selbst hatte einen großen Salat als Vorspeise und als Hauptgericht gab es den Kürbis Burger mit Süßkartoffeln Pommes (einfach lecker) meine Frau hatte das panierte Schnitzel mit Tomate/Käse überbacken und dazu ihr Wunsch-Kartoffeln. Die anderen drei Gäste hatten Fischsuppe , Steak Strindberg und Fisch als Hauptspeise . Alle waren begeistert , zufrieden und gesättigt. Vorab gab es kleine Brotscheiben mit Feta Käse Dip ebenfalls lecker. Sind wir wieder mal in Rostock führt uns der Weg wieder in die Fritz Reuter Stuben (KTV) Herzlichsten Dank nochmals.

5 Sterne für Fritz Reuter Stuben. Für meinen 60. habe ich schon im Januar das Klassik-Menü bestellt für meine Gartenparty im Juli. Ich hatte keine Mühe mir was schönes auszusuchen. Die Webseite ist top. Die Bestellung war schnell gemacht und eine Änderung des Datums war auch kein Problem. Die Antwortzeit war super gering. Das Büffet war super. Meine Gäste und ich waren sehr zufrieden. Es wurde pünktlich geliefert, exakt aufgebaut (es fehlte an nichts) und alles im Hintergrund, so dass ich in aller Ruhe noch meine Gäste begrüßen konnte. Und am nächsten Tag kam der Chef und hat das Equipment wieder abgeholt. Das habe ich aber erst beim schreiben gesehen. Das Ambiente bekommt auch 5 Sterne, weil es sehr gut angerichtet war. Preis-Leistung stimmt auch. weiter so...

Tolle Bedienung mit super Tipps bei der Essenswahl, leckere Speisen und angenehme Atmosphäre, wir saßen draußen :) wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke für einen schönen Abend 😊
