Very friendly restaurant, with good, down-to-earth cuisine👍

There were 12 of us, a very nice table, very comfortable, friendly and fast service. We had 3 dogs with us, no problem. The food from starter, main course and dessert was super delicious. Highly recommended, again at any time. Thank you and all the best!

We thank the restaurant staff for a wonderful meal on New Year's Eve. Thanks to the service staff who served the many guests quickly, yet in a friendly and relaxed manner. A big thank you also to the kitchen for the very tasty food. We felt very comfortable and are happy to recommend “Carls”!

We were there for Christmas dinner with the family. You have to like full restaurants and the principle of throughput maximization to like it there at that time. You book a slot for 2 hours, the room is full and correspondingly loud. The service was very friendly and quick. The kitchen offered a reduced menu that said “vegetarian on request”. The host had asked in advance. As it turned out, you had to order this alternative in advance because the kitchen only offered prepared dishes due to the high throughput and was not flexible. That wasn't communicated; it could have been written on the card. So there was only one large, dry potato, a thimble of quark and plain vegetables for several people at the table. You swallow it for the sake of the mood. But we were still very annoyed about what you (didn't) deliver.

It was really great. The food 10/10 as well as the staff! We will definitely come back :)

It's great, we reserved a table for 9p online (great process), got a nice table, nicely set and spacious. The restaurant was very attractive, the food was good, the service was friendly, quick and attentive. Highly recommended.

The lunch menu was excellent for the price. Small tables in a small space, but still cozy. The location near the market square is also very good.

Very good food, service attentive

Anyone who would like to eat well in a nice atmosphere - beyond the usual “Warnemünder tourist temple” - will probably find their place here. We were warmly welcomed and looked after and everything tasted delicious! Please stay that way :) Thank you for two pleasant evenings and good luck!

People......... Skip the soup or other starter and breakfast that day and order half the duck stuffed with prunes. I've only had duck this good once and that was at Spitzhaus. Every bite was a treat. The red cabbage, excellent, and the dumplings seem a bit small in proportion but the focus here is on the duck. Okay, a bit excessive amount but with style. The price is justified for the quality and quantity! The plate is large, so half the duck seems small. But don't be fooled.

Very good service, the dog was brought something to drink straight away and then there was a very tasty burger with great fries. Really good, friendly and fast service. Greatest compliments

Sie üben noch, jedenfalls in der Küche. Die Preise sind dem Trend angepasst. Es geht nach oben. Die Speisen sind dem nicht gefolgt. Die Entenbrust war nicht zu essen. Völlig zäh, da kam auch das Messer nicht dagegen an. Der Kellner hat dann noch als "wiedergutmachung" eine Kugel Eis angeboten. Das könne man ja schließlich lutschen. Er fand das sehr witzig. Wir weniger.

A very nice restaurant, food was delicious, great service

We ordered: Currywurst – not bad Beet salad Baked potato w/ salad Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce Schnitzel with cheese and cubes of pork, Worcestershire sauce. All was good, service reasonably fast, helpful, friendly staff that spoke English, locals near us spoke English. Only real complaint is the fried potatoes, while made with bacon and fried onions, they didn’t seem to carry the flavor, perhaps not enough bacon grease? Large outdoor section in the pedestrian zone, indoors was cozy.

We were there with a large group. The atmosphere is really nice, children's chairs are available. The service is very friendly. The food is solid. A changing table is also available. The portions are ok, maybe there could have been a few more fries for good eaters😅. Expect to pay 20 to 30 EUR per person.

We ate there with nine people. Had reserved online beforehand. The service was super nice. The food tasted very good and the price/performance ratio was completely ok. The toilets were clean. Only with the children's dish schnitzel with mashed potatoes and peas did I wish it had a sauce as standard. We are happy to recommend Carls and will be back soon.

All in all it was a lovely evening with the whole family. definitely repeatable.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Familienfeier im Restaurant und haben dort gemütlich gesessen. Es hat auch wirklich Jeder ein Essen auf der Speisekarte gefunden, selbst die Vegetarier, und alles war lecker.

Wir waren für ein Firmenessen im Carls, da es mir von einer Freundin empfohlen wurde und wir die Karte im Voraus sehr ansprechend fanden. Von allem was dabei und die Speisen waren allesamt qualititiv hochwertig! Reservierung anfangs für 18 Personen war gar kein Problem, auch dass wir dann am Ende noch aufstocken mussten, wurde positiv aufgenommen. Am Ende waren dann 25 Mitarbeiter dabei und haben alle ein leckeres Abendessen gefunden. Unsere Sitzplätze waren super für so eine große Gruppe! Die Kellner waren freundlich und flink. Das Essen war sehr schnell fertig, was bei so einer Gruppengröße nicht selbstverständlich ist. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Abend und wir können das restaurant sehr empfehlen!

We were there at lunchtime and chose the lunch special. The dishes tasted very good and the service was nice and very friendly. I can highly recommend Carl's. Value for money for the lunch dishes is top. We'll definitely come back :-)

Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert. Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt und war gut besucht. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich dazu. Vorweg lecker Knoblauchbrot und Gurkensalat. Dann haben uns die Burger-, Fisch und Pastagerichte sehr gut geschmeckt. Es hat zwar länger gedauert, dies wurde aber angekündigt aufgrund größerer Gruppen, dann ist das auch in Ordnung. Preislich noch im moderaten Bereich.

Standard pizza, a little more expensive than in non-tourist strongholds. The biggest drawback was the blunt knives.

We've been part-time residents of Warnemünde for almost 20 years... there's nothing at Carl's 0 8 15, modern, cozy atmosphere, great food - no extra charge, just because I can't tolerate or don't like a side dish!!! Great selection of wines, spirits also for connoisseurs and connoisseurs...and the curious! The menu is varied...burger junkies, fish lovers & veggie lovers...everyone has a happy ending. One thing is particularly worth mentioning: This location doesn't just stand for great cuisine... it also impresses with its great service team Thanks to the front people Michelle, Mel.Basti.Alex, Anett, Laura & Marcus...you're doing a great job!! Great team, the employer has his eyes open here!! No quality, bad food. Frozen patty completely oversized. Normally a burger costs from 20 euros here, except on the lunch menu. I can't understand the good reviews here at all. That's not a burger and that wasn't a chef. Never again! Waste of money! The service isn't bad but the rest... I've never had such a bad meal. A snack is nothing more and nothing less 😉

Chicken steak with Mediterranean vegetables 😋🥰 ... I've rarely had such wonderfully juicy chicken. Coupled with the first-class service and the lively sayings, we felt completely looked after. Tip-top recommendation!

We were at "Carls" on July 24, 2024 at around 2:20 p.m. and wanted to eat the daily special. The waiter immediately greeted us with the bad news - the "dish of the day" was already out. Strange, with a weekly changing plan and offer until 3:00 p.m. Out of necessity we ordered something else. The schnitzel with mashed potatoes for my wife was terrible - mashed potatoes cold, schnitzel hard. My food was okay so far, with meat, vegetables and aspic balanced in the brawn.

Update July 29, 2024: And still a recommendation. Staff as before friendly and quick. The food was delicious and the prices were normal. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back. Update September 13, 2022: Like a year ago. Friendly and fast service, as well as delicious food. The prices are still at a suitable level. We will be back. We had reserved in advance and were at Carls this evening. Friendly staff, fast service and really tasty food at a great price. Anyone who leaves here hungry has done something wrong. We will be back.

Fantastically delicious food, probably the best wiener schnitzel we've had. sweet staff who do something extra, the waiter went into the neighboring restaurant and bought a non-alcoholic beer for the pregnant woman. Fair prices, good drinks. English speaking staff and menu card

Great lunch today. The schnitzel was perfect. Staff friendly and the area very nice to spend the afternoon on an almost all pedestrian street in this cute area about 3 miles from the cruise port.

Very good food at acceptable prices. The price-performance ratio for Warnemünde is probably unbeatable. The same applies to the “Fabelhaft” opposite, which is run by the same operator; you can tell that people work here with heart and mind.

For the holiday resort, but overall very good, almost unreasonably priced. Very well cooked, very fast service, friendly. Cheap lunch with about 5 main courses to choose from, about €10 for one dish. Quality is excellent. Guest toilets with modern, homely furnishings in top condition. Clean.

Den Caesar Salad kann ich leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Das Dressing war eine dicke Sauce. Es sah weder appetitlich aus noch war es appetitlich. Auf Nachfrage ob das Dressing immer so dick ist bekam ich die Antwort: ja unser Dressing ist immer so dick. Ich probierte somit noch einen Happen aber ich habe diesen Salat einfach nicht runter bekommen. Mach nochmaligem Ansprechen des Personals habe ich einen neuen Salat bekommen, mit dem Dressing extra. Und ich weiß nicht ob man das Dressing nennen kann. Ich konnte den Behälter auf den Kopf stellen und es rührte sich nichts an dem Dressing, so dick ist es. Gut am Ende habe ich einen trockenen Salat ohne jegliches Dressing oder Öl gegessen und hin und wieder ein bisschen Dressing als Dip genommen. Aber lecker geht wirklich anders. Ich weiß nicht wie man sowas verkaufen kann. Ob die Dressings der anderen Salate auch so sind weiß ich nicht.

In Warnemünde you have a huge selection of great restaurants. We ended up at Carls because of the many good reviews and were not disappointed. Nice little restaurant with a clear but great menu. We decided on a rocket and pear salad and a burger with Camembert. It was incredibly tasty and the service was super friendly, quick and very helpful. We can only recommend everyone to come here.

We went on a company trip to Warnemünde. We searched on Google for a restaurant with a lot of choice and also vegan food and found Carls. It's a very cozy restaurant. Nice ambience. Friendly staff. And the food is simply delicious. There were 13 of us and we all got our food at the same time. If I'm back in Warnemünde, I'll eat there again. I can only recommend

The food was very good. I would particularly like to praise the service. Michelle, Sebastian, Laura and Mel were very, very sweet. Because of the weather we had to sit inside and had a very loud neighboring table with 24 people, including very loud children who also didn't behave. The staff handled the situation well and defused the situation.

I recently visited a restaurant and was happy to see that there were vegan options on the menu. The taste of the dishes was okay, nothing extraordinary but ok. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the visit pleasant. However, I found the prices to be quite high. Overall a mixed experience – good but expensive.

We were there for dinner yesterday. The welcome was warm and we got our desired window seat. The service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, my wife's citizen and starter (asparagus cream soup) were cold. Unfortunately, the citizen was also 70% raw, which was a shame because the quality of the meat was good. My schnitzel, on the other hand, was very tasty and hot. We still won't come back because cold food is a no-go for us. The ambience was fine. Definitely a plus point for the service, you can't complain about that. 3 out of 5 for everything.

We ordered by phone. Even then everything was uncomplicated, quick and friendly. We had a very nice place and the staff was just friendly and accommodating. The food, which came after a very pleasant period of time, was simply outstanding and in some ways you just can't do it better. Definitely worth recommending and we will come back.

Wir hatten am 26.05.2024 einen Tisch für 8 Personen reserviert. Pünktlich zu 19.00Uhr erwartete uns ein eingedeckter Tisch .Leider war dieser Tisch für uns sehr eng und wir fragten nach einer Lösung. Es wurde uns dann ein Tisch im hinteren Bereich angeboten. Die Tischfläche war zwar größer,jedoch waren wir auch hier "eingesperrt. Das Team der Gaststätte konnte uns einfach nicht vernünftig plazieren.Leider hatte unsere Bedienung auch keinen guten Tag.Wir bekamen kein Bitte und Danke oder etwa ein Lächeln. Das Essen war sehr gut !!! Schade,vielleicht sollte man am Sonntagabend nicht mehr für Gäste öffnen, wenn beim Personal die Luft raus ist. Wir fühlten uns NICHT willkommen.

3 stars for the food because the plaice fillet was far too thin with a strange consistency. But the Caesar Chicken Burger: Full 5 stars! Service was nice, and it's nice to sit outside and watch the people walk by... 😁

We wanted to order the first dish from the lunch table at 1:45 p.m. (until 3:00 p.m.), but it was already out. I had fish fillet, vegetables and mashed potatoes. The fish, pollack fillet, was dry and not tender, and the mashed potatoes were almost cold. I was very disappointed.

Uff.....came in completely spontaneously and was completely convinced!!!! The starter was spicy meat, followed by dead grandma and schnitzel with asparagus. Everything was super delicious!!! Plus attentive, quick service. What more could you want for lunch? We'll definitely be back!!!
