Restaurant fabelhaft in Rostock

The rump steak was extremely bad 3 times in different seasons! It was hard and there were a lot of tendons! Ordered medium well, received something between English and medium! In addition, the fried potatoes were far too light

You can do it. Honest restaurant that certainly doesn't have to do everything itself.

Unfortunately, it's a real hygiene disaster, the toilets are a no-go... The food wasn't that convincing either. Too bad.

Always delicious. For lunch there are several meals at reasonable prices. The fried potatoes are freshly made. The schnitzel, chicken liver and fish fillet are well done. The salad is fresh.😋

A very nice restaurant! Very attentive, friendly service staff. A small point deduction, unfortunately the chocolate cake didn't have a liquid core, but I'll be back and can really recommend the place.

We were looking for a delicious breakfast. There is a little “insider tip” on Mühlenstrasse. That's fabulous! You can put together the plate yourself. The food tasted great. The team is friendly and relaxed. It's a shame that we only discovered you on the day of departure.

Nice restaurant with lunch during the week until 4 p.m.

Obwohl ich vorher bei Tripadvisor geguckt hatte, was denn für Warnemünde so an Restaurants empfohlen wird, sind wir dann doch eher spontan im "Fabelhaft" gelandet. Hach, lecker war es und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert - ob nun Bauernfrühstück oder Geflügelleber. Das Personal war total freundlich, das Ambiente sehr nett. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat unbedingt gestimmt. Beim nächsten Warnemünde-Besuch kommen wir gern wieder vorbei.

A really good restaurant with delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed everything here with 7 people. The kids food was great. Freshly mashed potatoes, super fresh carrots etc. Absolutely top recommendation to eat here. Dear team, keep it up. It was a great moment again after a long time and for us it was “THE dining experience” because it was something special.

If you like it hearty, this is the place for you. My wife and I ate the Hamburger Schnitzel from the inexpensive lunch menu. Schnitzel, fried egg and salad were very good. The fried potatoes, on the other hand, were probably the warmed up leftovers from the last batch. The taste is good, but very dark fried with small pieces, soft and very fatty. This is not to everyone's taste and not very digestible either. The guests after us had much lighter and fresher-looking fried potatoes with their Hamburger schnitzel and farmer's breakfast.

The food - fish dishes - was okay: the fish itself (cod fillet) was good - the cod was more disappointing, the side dishes unimaginative. The service was initially friendly, but we were basically complimented on a Saturday evening from 9:40 p.m.: the music was turned off, everything was ostentatiously cleared away, even though three tables were still occupied, so that the guests would notice that they had to leave. Unpleasant.

Well, I can't understand all the good reviews. Everything was super expensive, but you got a dry farmer's breakfast, mushroom sauce tasted absolutely sour? I have no idea what went wrong, it tasted more like Maggi fix. Schnitzel was soggy and not seasoned. We were sitting inside, where the conditions were, sitting at a table, apparently sharing tips with each other, writing rosters and loudly clarifying organizational matters. Super rude and unpleasant. I would prefer not to give a star, but at least the waitress who brought us our food and stowed away the stroller was friendly. Definitely never again...

The “fabulous” is simply fabulous! Everything is perfect: the friendly, humorous service, the wonderful food prepared with love. It couldn't be better. All the best to the team and yes, it's absolutely worth stopping by! 👍

On September 15th, my wife and I had chicken liver with onions and apples on mashed potatoes for lunch. There was hardly any sign of apples. Overall, this liver...onion...mush was so disgusting, it was definitely prepared in old oil or fat. About half an hour later I had to vomit. My wife wasn't feeling quite so bad. It was the last time we entered this "cash house". 🤮🤮 I have to do it again... My wife felt really bad a day later from eating the DIRTY food. That means...This bar should be burned down and the cook neutralized.

There were four of us in the Fabelhaft restaurant in the evening. Great ambience, super friendly and pleasant staff and very tasty food. We had a great evening - thanks to the team!

Every time we are in Warnemünde we eat here. We also had lunch here in the summer after our wedding. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. Very nice staff and a fabulous meal in a cozy atmosphere. I would also give 10 stars if this were possible. Please keep it up!!!

Fabulous, yes the name fits unfortunately, very inept operation caught. Following scenario. We wanted to take advantage of the lunch specials around 3:40 p.m., which are offered until 4 p.m. All of the shady spots were occupied, except for two reserved ones, of which we obviously couldn't have one, and we weren't offered a shady alternative. So we walked up and down the street again. When we came back there around 3:55 p.m. nothing had changed in the situation, the shady reserved places were still free, the others were occupied. So we came up with the brilliant idea of ​​asking if we could sit in the restaurant, it was shady there, yes that was possible and we sat down. When the waitress came, we wanted to order from the lunch specials that are offered until 4 p.m., but that was no longer possible. Our question as to why was, you wouldn't believe, answered with the following sentence. It's already 4:02 p.m. and the kitchen isn't having any fun. My question now to the group is that incompetence or arrogance, I have no idea. Of course we left again and the absolute joke was that after about 30 minutes we had to pass the fabulous restaurant again, the two reserved tables in the shade were still not occupied. Never again.....

Wir haben im "FABELHAFT" zur Goldenen Hochzeit der Eltern gegessen. Angefangen von der Reservierung bis hin zum Abend war alles tadellos und übersichtlich. Es wurden Bestätigungen und Erinnerungen per Email versendet, die Tische waren hübsch und passend dekoriert. Das Essen war super gut, es hat allen sehr geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich, lustig und immer da. Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abend!

Went for breakfast on a Saturday with 5 people. Breakfast to put together yourself with a list. Works well. Food then came on beautifully arranged platters. All of good quality. Requests for improvements are handled very well. Only the coffee is very thin. Filter and crema.

Well, of course I expect it to be expensive in this town... but with rump steak 200gr. At €21, charging €2 for the herb butter and €6 for the fried potatoes certainly takes some getting used to. But to the court The rump steak was tough. With no visible crust, just plain. Some of the fried potatoes were still crunchy (sometimes not cooked through) Staff rather distant. Nice, but not “fabulous” :) The “fabelhaft” has a rather simple and rustic atmosphere. Compared to many other restaurants in Warnemünde, it's not particularly pretty. There is a small side room on the inside on the right where you sit quite crowded in the hallway and which we found to be uncomfortable. Both the table and the chair were wobbly. But we were allowed to change places, which was positive. To eat: The bruschetta was very good; Nice, crispy warm bread and fresh toppings. However, the main courses didn't completely convince us. We had ordered the coconut curry pasta with chicken, where I unsuccessfully looked for the curry. The sauce was extremely bland, as if they had forgotten to season it. But the chicken and vegetables were cooked to perfection and good. We also ordered the baked chicken with sweet potato fries. The chicken was delicious here again, but the fries were sometimes too dark. So overall it's okay, but there's room for improvement.

Price-performance ratio is more than satisfactory, the staff is extremely attentive, courteous and personable, and the atmosphere was also very friendly and inviting. The waiting times were completely reasonable and the food was excellent. Overall, definitely worth a visit 👍🏼👍🏼

Very good food at acceptable prices. The price-performance ratio for Warnemünde is probably unbeatable. The same applies to the “Carls” opposite, which is run by the same operator; you can tell that people work here with heart and mind.

We prepared the rooms ourselves for our birthday party, cleaning, setting up tables, decorating, etc. Unfortunately, there is no longer a cleaning company, even though it was contractually agreed. Since nothing came from the community apart from the key (which came 2 hours later than agreed) and we did everything ourselves, I can only rate our work. It was excellent, so 5*!

Went there for dinner with the family. It was very, very tasty. Portions are partly for the big hunger, Food, ambience, service, friendliness - TOP Dogs are only allowed outside due to allergy sufferers, but that is completely understandable and completely OK.

Ob das (besonders) Essen, der Service (immer freundlich und nicht genervt) , der Wein und und und, alles ist ausgezeichnet. Als Einheimischer ist es nicht leicht, sein "Stammlokal" zu finden und hier passt alles. Familiefeiern sind sehr kinderfreundlich und es wird alles getan, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Danke wieder einmal für den gestrigen schönen Abend. Unsere Freunde waren begeistert und die kommen sehr viel rum.

It was too cold for us to sit outside. The 2 steps into the restaurant are insurmountable for a wheelchair user. Upon request, a ramp was immediately organized and nothing stood in the way of the wonderful food. The service was quick and very friendly. We are thrilled and give an absolute recommendation!

Great restaurant with ambience. What should be highlighted is the fast and courteous service and the good lunch menu. In my case redfish fillet with fried potatoes and cucumber salad. The quantity was sufficient, but the plate didn't "overflow" (see photo), which I personally find very good, especially at lunchtime. At the next table there was a farmer's breakfast. That also looked very good and is probably something for those who are a little hungry :) The fried potatoes could have been in the pan a little longer and the lemon could have released some juice. But nothing really dramatic. The fish was absolutely excellent - to the point, very juicy and surprisingly with an egg shell. Delicious.
