Unfriendly behavior, generally very unpleasant towards me. I ordered two things and only got half. I had to ask for the second portion because I waited 15 minutes for the second portion and only realized afterward that the waiter hadn't even taken it down. He didn't even apologize. In the end, I found out that they only accept cash. It didn't say anywhere that cards weren't accepted. The waiter had zero understanding and didn't even make me feel like he understood the situation. Thankfully, there were friendly guests there who exchanged cash for PayPal. The portions were really not good either - €23 for a ridiculous portion of fried fish, which was practically unsalted! Overpriced food, absolutely unfriendly behavior, and I was embarrassed for no reason, even though the restaurant didn't even manage to communicate that cards weren't accepted until it was too late. Never again!

Best fish in a long time! Super nice, rustic restaurant, totally authentic atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. Perhaps important to note: Cash only! We'd be happy to come back anytime. Thumbs up!!!

Highly recommended. Authentic restaurant in Rostock, quaintly decorated. We had reserved a table, and everything was perfect. Very good, finely balanced food (various fish dishes with deliciously prepared fried potatoes).

A small, quaint harborside pub with excellent cuisine. The owner cooks here herself 😁 Highly recommended, but reservations are recommended, as there are only five tables. If we ever go to the Baltic Sea again, we'd be happy to come back.

We had dinner there this evening and I have to say it was a very positive experience. Rustic and dignified. The landlord was very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Legger. If we are in Rostock again we would like to come back.

On the way to the car we discovered this place and… were thrilled. Everything was perfect here: the food, the atmosphere, the furnishings and 🤩 the coffee, which (brewed!) brought back good memories...

Very, very rustic atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. It really tasted very good. The boss of the house (I assume it was him) who served us was really nice and relaxed. We spent the whole evening there unplanned because the whole atmosphere was just great.

Super quaint harbor pub. Totally authentic, cozy and familiar. The food is simply great. The black halibut with fried potatoes and cabbage salad is a poem. Kudos to the cook. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Rustic little restaurant, food very good, landlord very friendly, price/performance good

Ate dinner there last night and had a great time. Tiny, but awesome. It seems more like a bar for drinks than food, but the food was very good. We took the young cod, sea lachs, and fish soup, everything was top.

The store is so beautiful that there are still stores like this with a lot of charm and attention to detail! We had the halibut which was delicious. We will be back

Urig, klein, gemütlich und authentisch. Hier kommt noch der einheimische Stammtisch zusammen, das sagt einiges. Ein toller Wirt und eine echte Perle in der Küche. Das Essen hier ist einzigartig gut. Wie von Muttern. Hausgemacht, wo andere zur Fertigware greifen. Der Fisch ein Gedicht, die Bratkartoffeln zum niederknien. Die Fisch Soljanka spitze. Hier waren wir nicht nur einmal! Wir werden es vermissen, aber wir kommen wieder!!!! 😃

Vorteil: das Essen war essbar. Nachteile: 1. Kartenzahlung nicht möglich. 2. Die Leute sind nicht nett. Wenn Du viel bestellst, dann sehr nett. Sonst, anders. Kriecherischer Snob! 3. Rechnung mit Handschrift, keine elektronische Rechnung, Steuern hinterziehen?! Ein leerer Teller und Besteck für meine Tochter hat extra 1,5€ gekostet, ja, nur kleines Geld, aber das hatte ich noch nie erlebt. 4. Nicht kinderfreundlich, Kinderwagen zu groß, geht nicht; Tropfendeckchen für Bier Glas und Anti-Rutsch-Pad für Esstisch darf meine Tochter nicht berühren. Herr Ober meinte, "Hey, es ist kein Spielplatz." Naja, ich wusste nicht, es ist eine kleine Kneipe. Es war mein Fehler, mit Kind dort hinzugehen. Sorry, wir kommen nie wieder. Bitte machen Sie schlau, nicht wie ich.

Gutes Essen, nette und professionelle Bedienung, gute Empfehlung in Rostock. Keines der typischen Touristen Lokale am Wasser, sondern sehr authentisch. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen konnte ich auch alles mit Karte zahlen.

Eine kleine gemütliche "Kneipe", ohne Schnickschnack, preiswerten und sehr schmackhaften Gerichten. Fünf Tische, eine "norddeutsche" Bedienung und eine übersichtliche Speisekarte lassen den Ausklang des Tages (ab 17:00Uhr geöffnet) von einem Einkauf oder nur zu einem Bier zu einem Erlebnis werden. Der Gastraum erinnert an eine behagliche Wohnstube mit maritimen Flair. Geraucht werden darf im Flur vor dem Gastraum.

Eines der wenigen Restaurants in HRO mit Flair. Super-sympathisches Team, viele Stammgäste.

Norddeutscher Charme des Chefs, der schon mal sagt , dass er nur Kaffee, Tee oder heiße Schokolade hat, aber dann doch auch den unbekannten Gast mit wortlos einladender Geste an den Stammtisch bittet und darauf achtet, dass keiner durstig bleibt.

The fish restaurant with traditional German fish dishes and harbour style decoration. The soups and the meals we ordered are all delicious. The fish soup is a clear soup with a very good taste. The combination of the fish and the vegetables is in a balance. The Solyanka soup is also good (from my friend's description). The gebratener fisch is also fantastic and beyond my expectation: the veil is crispy and the fish itself is not dry. The other fish dishes are also good. The staff is also very friendly.

We was very happy to go there but unfortunately this place do not accept paying with card. Same as many restaurants in Rostock only accept cash. So disappointed.

Sehr gemütlich und schön, so wie man sich eine Hafenkneipe vorstellt. So etwas findet man nicht mehr oft. Ein Fischernetz und originale Schiffslampen sorgen für maritimes Flair. Sehr leckeres Essen und angemessene Preise. Gerne wieder !

Voll lecker, urige Kneipe mit freundlicher Bedienung

Schöne Seemannskneipe, immer wieder ein Genuss.

Känns som en riktig stamkrog för den gamla tidens sjömän. Mycket liten och otroligt mysig restaurang, med en del olika fiskrätter och någon kötträtt. Fantastiskt god och vällagad mat. Rikliga portioner. God öl. Mannen som tog beställning och serverade maten gjorde ett varmt och omsorgsfullt intryck.

Die Kneipe als solche ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Für das ein oder andere Bierchen mit ein paar Freunden ist sie perfekt geeignet. Die urige Atmosphäre wird abgerundet durch einen sehr herzlichen Kellner der um keinen Spruch verlegen ist. Insgesamt betrachtet genau das was man von einer Hafenkneipe erwartet. Dass es bei der Bewertung jedoch nur 4 von 5 Sternen sind hat nur einen Grund. Das Essen. Zum einen ist es verhältnismäßig teuer (18 Euro für Backfisch mit Bratkartoffeln) und zum anderen ist die Qualität (für diesen Preis) nicht sonderlich hoch. Die Portionsgröße war okay (obwohl man auch hier sagen könnte: für den Preis ist es zu wenig). Sehr gute Kneipe, (gerade so) mittelmäßiges Restaurant.
