We come here every time we vacation in Warnemünde because we really appreciate the delicious, good food and the friendly, attentive service. We don't mind the two dinner rounds. We've always eaten in the first round and never felt rushed. We'd be happy to come back. Reserving a table is recommended.

Very nice, cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. The dishes were prepared with great attention to detail and the beef medallions were cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. It is advisable to reserve.

Eating out in this restaurant is something very special. The historic yet elegant ambience ensures a very impressive stay. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We were also very happy that our child was also welcome. To pass the time, the waitress offered us something to paint. There is also a very good children's menu. The selected children's meal, filet with mashed potatoes, was excellent. The same applies to food for adults. The fish, meat and vegetables were perfectly cooked and juicy. The exceptionally good dessert was the perfect “icing on the cake” at the end. On top of that, the food came very quickly. We don't know how the operators do it - but our dinner was amazing! Thank you for this particularly wonderful experience.

Probably the best restaurant in Warnemünde. If it's still an insider tip, it probably won't be for long.

When you enter the restaurant, you immediately exude an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. A chic but still very cozy atmosphere with candles, real flowers and beautifully set tables invites you to a special evening with good food. The service is super friendly and attentive. The main courses are of good quality and the portions are enough to fill you up. The fact that the best comes last also applies to the Stromer. You definitely can't miss the dessert ;-)

Wir hatten reserviert und wurden außergewöhnlich freundlich von einer der beiden Mitarbeiterinnen im Service begrüßt. Die Tische waren festlich eingedeckt. Das Essen war traumhaft gut, die Bedienung ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich Abschalten und einfach genießen!!!

❤️Valentine's Day February 14, 2025❤️ We were looking for something special for Valentine's Day and this was it. The price of the meal was a little higher, but it was worth it in every way. The tables were not too crowded, lovingly set with tablecloths and cloth napkins, and the atmosphere was cozy - not too big, with a fireplace that created a cozy atmosphere. The service was exceptionally attentive, we were allowed to taste the wine beforehand, and the food was of excellent quality: wonderfully hot, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, the vegetables al dente and simply delicious. An all-round harmonious experience – the next table is already reserved!

Traditional and cozy Warnemünde restaurant with home-style cooking. The food was very tasty. Fresh, regional and seasonal products were used, which were brought to the guest hot and prepared in a modern way. The service was very attentive. A very nice atmosphere and caring service staff, but the food lacked the flavor. The eye was spoiled by the beautifully arranged food, but the palate was left wanting. And the portion of the main course was too big. So a menu is difficult to manage.

Absolute recommendation! If you are looking for outstanding quality with absolute hospitality in an authentic ambience, you should definitely visit this restaurant. The service staff are very concerned about the well-being of the guest - the food is fresh and prepared to a high quality. Really very tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy and rustic, but overall high quality.

The food is shockingly expensive, even for Warnemünde, but still delicious and special. In addition, the concept with 2 runs up to and from 7 p.m. is particularly strenuous, as you are constantly looking at the clock and the waitress is in distress by rushing the guests. However, the service is unnecessarily over-friendly. In addition, the guests are neither particularly well dressed nor have any special manners that the ambience is considered really upscale. Overall, the restaurant is a nice change on the Baltic Sea coast, but nothing special if you come from another larger city.

PS: Das Service-System ist natürlich etwas anders, als in den meisten Restaurants. Zwischen der ersten Servicezeit von 17 bis 19 Uhr und der zweiten ab 19.30 Uhr gibt es eine Pause ohne Service, das Restaurant schließt für diese Zeit. Vielleicht kann man das noch deutlicher kommunizieren, dann gibt es auch keine falschen Erwartungen.

Ein sehr schönes Ambiente mit super freundlichem Service, einfach genial. Tolle Auswahl an Getränken - alles was das Herz begehrt. Gekrönt wurde der Abend mit einem Menü, dass seines gleichen sucht und einem 5-Sterne Restaurant jederzeit gleichwertig ist - ausgezeichnet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail präsentiert. Small but fine restaurant in Warnemünde with excellent food and great service.

If you are looking for a small, fine, traditional and stylish restaurant with a great selection of special fish and meat and regional vegetables, this is the right place for you. Everything is super fresh and delicious. The starters and desserts are also a poem. From the ironed blanket and cloth napkins, the candle holders, a fireplace to the professional and charming service, everything is perfect. Highly recommended for any occasion when you want to do something good for yourself and others. Gladly again.

Better food, especially when it comes to fish You can't get it anywhere else in Warnemünde. The value for money and the quality of the food are definitely right here.

Actually, one word is enough: PERFECT! We were traveling in Warnemünde as a couple and luckily were able to get a spot. Great ambience, great service and great food. The waitress was super attentive, friendly and you immediately felt at home. Just perfect from start to finish. The food was a dream, from the starter, to the main courses, to the dessert. Here, someone loves what they do and you can taste it. We'd love to come back.

Absolute heart recommendation! It was our first time in the “Zum Stromer” restaurant and it certainly won’t be the last time. The food was a 10/10. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. We had beef medallions and ox cheeks. The portions were large and absolutely everything was delicious. The restaurant is a bit away from the typical tourist hustle and bustle and unfortunately a bit hidden, which is why not everyone notices it but it is definitely worth a visit. The rustic ambience and the super friendly staff alone are worth eating there. We'll definitely be back!!!

The friendly and helpful service staff who always keep an eye on the table and respond quickly if you have a request. The food: a taste experience that you have to try. Both the starters + greetings from the kitchen, main course and dessert. Simply delicious and rarely eaten so deliciously. I can really recommend it to everyone.

Nice little restaurant with two reservation time blocks, the first at 5 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m. The service was very nice and attentive. Our choice was fish, field vegetables and a vegetable stir-fry. We started with aioli and bread. Both very tasty, aioli was made on cream cheese cream, very tasty. The food can be served in a reasonable time. Fish on vegetables was very good. The vegetable stir-fry didn't come in the pan, but on the plate. Confusing name. Unfortunately, the field vegetables mainly consisted of onions. Carrots, cabbage and beans had to be looked for. Therefore, an onion pan or, better yet, ziebel plate. Nothing could save the cream side dish and the cold mashed potatoes and that too for a whopping 19 euros! This is definitely better elsewhere. Too bad, not for vegetarians. Here the focus is clearly on meat and fish with correspondingly high prices. Everything should be from the region! That could definitely have been the onions😉

We were at the Stromer for the first time, you come into the guest room and immediately have the feeling of being at home, very pleasant atmosphere, very attentive and friendly service, the food, so if this chef doesn't have at least one star, you wonder who does, very good in taste, very nicely prepared, great restaurant. When we are in Warnemünde, we always stop at the Stromer restaurant. Delicious freshly prepared food, nice staff, what more could you want. Prices are a little higher, but justified. Be sure to reserve in advance as there are only a few seats. In warm weather you can sit on the terrace.

Found it via Google and hit the jackpot. Ambience + service + cuisine simply great. We were all thrilled and will be back. The two times (we were in the second) were also good, so it was quieter, everything was at the table and very clean. Great!

The location has a lot of charm and the cozy and rustic ambience simply invites you to feel good. Although it can be reached quickly by the river, it is away from the usual tourist hustle and bustle of Warnemünde. The food is always delicious and, despite the higher prices, definitely worth the money. The changing menu always has something new to offer and we have never been disappointed here. The service is always very friendly and attentive, without ever being intrusive. In general, one can only give a big recommendation here!
