Whenever I'm with my mother in Rostock we eat here. It's cozy, a great selection of dishes, good portions, no matter what you order tastes delicious and lovely, friendly staff. Plus it's cheap. I can only recommend it. Always happy.

Nice little cozy restaurant with a large selection of dishes. There was very little going on and the food got there quickly. There were five of us and we all enjoyed it. The price-performance ratio is great. Definitely a great insider tip when you're in Rostock.

Went spontaneously to eat. The restaurant was well filled but the staff was very nice and showed us a table outside, which is what we wanted. Good selection of dishes, well prepared, super nice, everything is served to your complete satisfaction. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back

We discovered the potato stube about 6 years ago when we were on vacation in Warnemünde. Whenever we are nearby (Kühlungsborn or Warnemünde) we always enjoy going out to eat.

Enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, there aren't that many potato parlors in Rostock anymore. But it's definitely worth a visit. You just have to bring a lot of time - it's not a fast food restaurant.

Nice atmosphere, with seating outside when the weather is nice. It is definitely advisable to make a reservation, otherwise things can get tight The staff is very friendly, the drink order was carried out quickly and the times between ordering and until the food was on the table were fine. All three dishes arrived hot at the same time. Everything was quite tasty, we would love to stop by again on our next vacation.

I wouldn't have thought that there would be such good, affordable cuisine in the middle of Lütten Klein. It's really worth checking out... It tastes fantastic!

We were there with 8 people. We had to wait a good 20 minutes until someone came to bring us the card. No, it wasn't full. Maybe 4 more tables occupied that were already served. The food was really tasty and it was hot and not as lukewarm as you would find in some other restaurants. The price was okay too. I'll definitely go there again.

Cozy, comparatively cheap food, traditional, hearty dishes. We were there on Friday around 6:00 p.m. At the time, reservations were necessary due to its popularity. Alternatively, you can also take the food away from home. We had six different dishes and everyone was satisfied. You are not in a touristy part of town, but you experience an authentic, very friendly environment and great food. We were there for the first time and would love to come back! The tram is only 100m away. You can get there directly in 40 minutes with line 5.

We had dinner in the potato stube last night for our wedding anniversary. Our table was beautifully set and the service was super nice and it was very quick to get our order, even though it was very busy. The food was very good and freshly prepared. We'd love to come back.

Ambiance isn't everything. On the one hand, you come in and "get placed", it's 2024! Then you wait almost an hour for a simple schnitzel. Because the two ladies are more concerned with family matters than with their guests. If you know it's taking so long you could have said something. Other guests who came later got their food much quicker. Then the food comes and is half burnt. The potato parlor used to be a different place. We had our last visit there, which was a shame. Because we actually always liked being here.

Very tasty food in a good atmosphere and great service. I had a potato broccoli casserole with extra scrambled eggs in it and was completely satisfied. The food was freshly prepared and cooked in the oven and was served fully cooked and hot. The taste is simply great. The price is a little higher than usual, but you're happy to pay that here. Gladly again and highly recommended.

The restaurant has been able to maintain its quantity and quality for years. TOP. The seating could be swapped for the ambience. The side armrests no longer fit today. Especially since these also disturb the physical pelvic and thigh areas.

Very tasty and seemingly freshly prepared. The service was very, very friendly and that made us overlook a not very nice spot on the counter where an unsightly collection of old magazines (?) was lying around.

Auf Empfehlung von Freunden sind wir zum Mittagessen hin. Zum Glück war es nicht so voll. Tolles rustikales Ambiente und gute Hausmannskost zu einem guten Preis. Wir haben für Kaffee, Alster, Folienkartoffel mit Lachs und Mexikoschnitzel mit gebackene Kartoffelecken ca 32 Euro bezahlt. Die Portionen waren reichlich. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und nett.

-Bratkartoffeln und Schnitzel sind "OK" -Pommes waren etwas sehr Salzig. -Dezember 23 Raumtemperatur kühl. - Personal sehr nett und Höflich Vielleicht haben wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Würde gerne noch einmal besuchen und das schöne rustikales ambiente genießen.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal dort essen... Wir waren spontan da. Als Urlauber... Wir waren viel unterwegs und hatten einfach nur Hunger. Das Internet spuckte als nächstes dieses Restaurant aus und wir fuhren dort hin. Alle Tische waren gefühlt schon reserviert, aber die Kellnerin gab sich Mühe, dass wir zu acht trotzdem noch ein Plätzchen bekommen. Und so war es dann auch. Schon mal ein dickes Plus und ein dickes Danke schön dafür noch einmal ❤️ Zum Essen kann ich auch nur positives berichten. Es war mega lecker und für den Preis eine gute Portion, so dass man definitiv satt wird. Kurzum, vom Service, über das Ambiente, bis hin zum Essen war alles super 🥰

Sind regelmäßig vor Ort und beim letzten Mal gabs die beste Ente mit bester Soße bestem Sitzplatz ever. Wie immer mega freundlich und gastfreundlich mit schönstem Lächeln! Sitzplatz annektiert<3

Preis Leistung beim Essen war absolut top. Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Lediglich das Ambiente könnte etwas ausgefallener und dem Thema entsprechend sein aber das ist Nörgeln auf hohem Niveau.

Nach kurzer Abstimmung mit der Inhaberin waren wir mehr als glücklich. Alles war toll angerichtet. Die Lieferung war überpünktlich und das Abholen lief problemlos. Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal

Wir kamen mit großem Appetit und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die rustikale, sehr liebenswerte "Ess-Halle" verströmt ein ruhiges Klima. Irgendwo zwischen Gaststätte und Restaurant. Etwas versteckt in einer Wohnsiedlung gelegen, dadurch sehr unscheinbar. Mittig eine Theke, alles aus Holz. Wir waren erst etwas skeptisch (unsere Schuld) wurden aber vom Service, der Herzlichkeit und den Speisen absolut überzeugt. Das war ein gelungener Abend. Danke an das Team der Kartoffelstube! Besuch wird sehr empfohlen. Übrigens, Reservierung auch. Die Anwohner schätzen das Restaurant nämlich auch sehr. Beste Grüße aus Berlin.

Es war sehr voll und wir hatten nicht vorher bestellt. Nachdem einige Gäste bezahlt hatten wurden wir unkompliziert nach drinnen gebeten. Bei meinem Essen und beim Bauernfrühstück meiner Frau waren die Bratkartoffeln so toll, wie ich schon lange keine mehr in einer Gaststätte gegessen habe. Daaaanke für das tolle Essen.

Tolle, zuvorkommende Bedienung. Beim Essen gibt's nix zu meckern. Gepflegte und saubere Einrichtung sowie Sanitärbereich. Hier kann man wirklich noch super Essen und eine schöne Zeit mit Freunden verbringen. Ausreichend Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür, ansonsten 200m zur Straßenbahn falls es doch ein Bier 🍻 mehr wird.
