Ich kann die Kartoffelstube nur empfehlen. Super süßes kleines und unscheinbares Restaurant mit einer total lieben Bedienung und ausgezeichnetem Essen. Für Groß und Klein ist was dabei. Einfach lecker.

Gemütliche "Stube"... Reservierung auf jedenfall empfehlenswert! Sehr freundliche Bedienung! Gerne komme ich wieder!

Haben die Zeit hier genossen,Essen war schon bekannt und wieder lecker.Schade,dass wir uns nicht umsetzen konnten,obwohl Plätze frei waren,wir wollten den Rauchern neben und hinter uns gern ausweichen,obwohl wir Plätze auf der Terrasse hatten,wir saßen halt in Windrichtung!

Tolles Essen mit großen Portionen. Nettes Personal im Laden und jetzt im Lockdown, auch nette und zuvorkommende Fahrer im Lieferservice. Immer wieder gerne!

Es ist mit Abstand das beste was Rostock und vor allem Lütten Klein an Gastronomie zu bieten hat👍 Das Ambiente, der Service und die Qualität sowie Quantität der Angeboten Gerichte, einfach top und lecker 😉👍

Wir gehen gern dort essen. Die Speisen sind schmackhaft und die Preise sind bezahlbar. Wir fühlen uns dort wohl.

Für ein Mittagessen schon spät dran, wurden wir freundlich empfangen und schnell bedient. Uns hat das Essen gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren übig. Sehr gutes Preis.- Leistungsverhältnis. Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren jetzt das dritte Mal in der Kartoffelstube,es ist sehr schön und gemütlich hier.Die Damen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Essen ist sehr,sehr lecker 😋. Der Preis ist auch super.Das ganze Ambiente ist einfach toll,deshalb werden wir auch noch öfters hier gemeinsam mit Familie und Freunden zusammen verbringen.

Für ein kartoffelhaus hätte ich bessere Bratkartoffeln erwartet. Mehr kross und weniger Öl. Aber der Matjes war erste Sahne

Heute haben wir auswärts bestellt: Die Stampfkartoffeln mit Ei und Co. waren tipptopp! Leider war die Leber-Bestellung gar nicht gut: Einmal war ein Stück Galle dabei und die weiteren Stücke waren leider noch komplett roh – einfach nicht durchgebraten. Sehr schade!

Super , alles super. Wie alte deutsche Küche. Leider hat die Qualität sehr abgenommen. Die Kellnerin spielt nur am Handy , das Essen hat keinen Geschmack mehr ( Frittenbude ) Schade

In einem Satz zusammengefasst wohl: "Essen direkt vom Supermarkt auf den Teller". Die meisten Gerichte die man hier serviert bekommt sind nicht einmal Convenience, sondern einfach aus der Supermarktverpackung vom Penny nebenan direkt auf den Teller. Die wenigen Gerichte bzw. eher vereinzelte Lebensmittel, die wirklich gekocht werden, sind auch nicht mehr als Standard. Das kombiniert mit der Lage des "Restaurants" wirft wirklich die Frage auf, woher die aufgerufenen Preise stammen. Mir absolut unverständlich woher die guten Bewertungen stammen.

Wir waren nach langer Zeit mal wieder in der Kartoffelstube. Irgendwann hatten wir mal schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht, diesmal war es genau das Gegenteil. Uriges Lokal, sehr nette Bedienung und super lecker Essen. Hier gibt es keine aufgewärmte Fertignahrung, sondern richtige Hausmannskost. Das sieht man und das schmeckt man. Wir hatten Bauernkotelett, punktgenau gegart mit reichlich Zwiebeln und Speck, und Schlemmerschnitzel, das ebenfalls gehalten hat, was es versprach. Und das ganze bei einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Fazit: gemütliches Restaurant, freundliche Bedienung und super Essen. Wiederkommen: Auf jeden Fall

Leute, ihr macht alle einen tollen Job. Warum macht die Küche ihre eigenen guten Gerichte regelmäßig durch das Anrichten auf eiskalten Tellern kaputt ? Schätzt eure eigene Arbeit und wärmt die Teller.

Personal sehr freundlich, Essen und Getränke lecker und ging auch fix Waren im Dezember zum Weihnachtsessen dort mit Freunden verabredet Aber man kann nur 120 min kostenfrei parken, steht man länger bekommt man ca 3-4 Wochen später Post und zahlt für die Überschreitung der Parkdauer, man wollte doch nur gemütlich zusammen sitzen, das ist es echt nicht Wert. Die Parkdauer war definitiv im Dezember nicht ersichtlich, nicht draußen und auch nicht im Restaurant. Keine Weiterempfehlung von mir

Nice and cozy restaurant with well-prepared food and within walking distance of our hotel. Cash is the rule if you don't have an EC Card, which is stated on the website. So we will gladly return here.

That was probably the worst "broiler" I've ever eaten in my life. 🤮 The table was greasy and dirty, so you had to point it out beforehand. The "broiler"—it's an outrage that you can even call it that—was cold, pale, and about the size of a scrawny dove. The ambiance had all the charm of a greasy spoon. Seriously...shame on you! 👎🏼

We stopped by without a reservation and got a table quickly despite it being busy. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. We'd love to come back!

There's always great Christmas food here

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner one evening and got a seat right away. We were immediately informed that it might take a little longer to get our ordered food, but that didn't bother us, as the atmosphere was pleasant and the time flew by for my family. Really great value for money. Very large plates and portions, enough to satisfy everyone.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in the middle of a new residential area. The food was delicious, and we received very friendly service. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment. The menu included solyanka and gypsy steak. People here are still normal.

The service was very friendly. The Mexican schnitzel probably contains ketchup, as the sauce is quite sweet. The chef is very loud and at times abusive in the kitchen; when the waitress wanted to order a snack (shrimp cocktail), he and his colleague argued with her for minutes, saying that the kitchen had closed 20 minutes ago and now it was CLOSING! In the end, though, I got it as promised, and I enjoyed it.

I ate here with my family. I had the house dish with pork, sausage, salami, and potatoes. It was absolutely delicious; I'd definitely order it again. The schnitzel was also very good, and the side dishes were freshly prepared. Five stars for the price/performance ratio. The service was excellent and very friendly, and the ambiance is bright, friendly, and inviting. I'll eat here again next time I'm in Rostock.

We ate there today. I had the schnitzel with mixed vegetables. Unfortunately, the mixed vegetable sauce was poured over my fried potatoes and soaked them. Otherwise, the fried potatoes would have been very good. The meat was also very good, but unfortunately, the sauce had no flavor at all. The portion was sufficient.

Very cozy, not noisy, and guests can really enjoy their food here. Smaller portions are available for seniors and children. A ramp leads through the passage, but unfortunately only while it's open. Daily specials change daily, ensuring a good selection.

We went to the Kartoffelstube in Rostock Lütten Klein for dinner. After 5 minutes, the food was served. I think the schnitzel was frozen, because I couldn't hear any knocking from the kitchen. Mixed vegetables, probably from a can. Fresh looks completely different. We can't recommend it further. The lighting outside was dirty and covered in cobwebs. Very disappointed. 😞

My visit to Kartoffelstube was more of a coincidence, but I was all the more delighted that everything was just right here. Very good food, great service, and despite the surrounding new development, a fairly quiet location. All in all, highly recommended 🤗

Good home cooking at good prices!

I ate there on May 30th and 31st, 2025. I arrived at 6 p.m. on the first day and wanted to eat outside. Unfortunately, despite the warm weather, some tables weren't available because the chairs were still chained. I ordered fried potatoes with schnitzel Hamburg style. The fried potatoes were quite pale, the schnitzel was deep-fried, and the yolk of the fried egg was soft, as requested. The service was very stressed, but they were attentive and asked fairly regularly if I had any other requests. I paid at the end and noted that the fried potatoes could have been a bit more colorful, and then said a polite goodbye. On May 31st, 2025, the same experience with the outdoor chairs. I ordered fried potatoes with herring, but unfortunately, instead of housewife's sauce, they only served creamed horseradish. The fried potatoes were a bit more colorful than the day before, at my request, and unfortunately, the herring was not good at all. Three herrings dripping with oil lay on the plate, the oil was already floating under the fried potatoes, and the so-called creamed horseradish was out of the jar. Unfortunately, the waitress wasn't attentive, so I couldn't order another beer. When I finished my meal, they just asked if I was full, which I found quite odd. I paid and went next door to 0815 for a beer. We ended the evening there.

The food is really delicious. We were all full. The waitress was very nice, even though she was the only one serving. The only thing you should do is replace the chairs. They're more comfortable without backrests.

Delivery times are a bit longer due to high demand. If you know this, simply order ahead of time and you'll have good, home-cooked food delivered to your door. Unfriendly staff towards Swedes/non-German speaking guests. The waitress was completely different to the German speakers. Remember to have cash with you as their card reader obviously only takes German cards. The food was mediocre and rather bland. It barely gets approved by me. The restaurant should have a bold sign, we only accept cash. Should have turned in the door.

Very nice atmosphere! Waitress very friendly! Drinks and food arrived within 10 minutes! Unfortunately the cutlet was so tough and fried to death! Schnitzel was definitely frozen goods! I think the fried potatoes weren't homemade. When things have to be done quickly at home, we buy them out of the bag. The fried potatoes there also tasted exactly the same. I have no idea whether the chef has changed. It's a shame. Always enjoyed eating there!
