AMAZING place! Great food! And we got AWESOME service from Angelica. She was just absolutely AWESOME from the get go. She advised us exactly what to get and every recommendation was mouth watering delicious. They are very casual and let you take any seat that you find available - and best part is your not left waiting endlessly for a server to show up. They watch as soon as you are seated and send someone over to serve you The cuisine is authentic German to a mix of fusion (given they are in the most touristic location of Frankfurt ). We decided to go with authentic German and were pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend everyone to give them a try and you will be happy that you did!

Service sehr unkoordiniert. (War 3x bei uns am Tisch (4 Personen) um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. (Lag nicht an uns, da wir wussten was wir wollten. Der Espresso kam kalt an, in der Teekanne (wir hatten Schwarzen Tee bestellt war im Filter noch ein alter Früchtetee Beutel (war wahrscheinlich schon mitgespült worden, da er keine Farbe mehr abgab). Es dauerte ewig bis wir dann eine neue Kanne mit Teewasser bekamen….. Selbst beim Abräumen wo man fragte, ob der Espresso, der sich noch in der Tasse befand mitnehmen könne und wir nochmals drauf hingewiesen haben, daß er kalt angekommen war, kam keine Entschuldigung.

This is my go-to place whenever I have friends visiting from Korea. They serve delicious German traditional dishes and excellent beer. Everyone I’ve brought here has always been satisfied! * You must visit at least at 8 o'clock to order food. This is always the place we visit on the first day when we have guests from Korea! It's a place where you can enjoy delicious traditional German food, and the beer is especially delicious, so everyone was satisfied. * You must arrive by at least 8 o'clock to order food. This restaurant is cash only…and the owner acted like you are not allowed here if you don’t have cash on you. I mean I have 20 on me so I wanna see the menu to find out if it’s enough for a meal. He literally rolled his eyeballs and pointed the door like I’m forced to leave or sth. With his gesture and his attitude, I’m never entering this freaking restaurant again. The worst in Frankfurt!!!

A rustic restaurant. The food is delicious and served in a down-to-earth manner. The portions are filling. The interior could use a refresh. The owner and his son could be friendlier sometimes. But all in all, good home cooking.

Spontaneous stop for a walk along the Main. The temperatures were so pleasant that we sat down on the terrace and simply enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere for two hours. The service was really great!

Kleines knuffiges Lokal direkt am Goethetum, perfekt als Ausflugsziel bei Spaziergängen durch den Frankfurter Stadtwald. Speisekarte generell kann ich nicht beurteilen, aber der Kaiserschmarren war richtig gut. Und frisch zubereitet, was ja in 90% aller Restaurants, die "Kaiserschmarrn" auf der Speisekarte haben nicht gemacht wird. Dafür 10 von 10 Punkten.

To avoid, the waiter specifies at the start of the meal that you must hurry and eat in 1 hour max. If there are people lining up after you, they will favor the largest number of people to make more numbers. In short, go to the restaurant next door, they are much friendlier
