Yesterday 3 people ate Service very friendly and attentive The food, schnitzel and steak, were amazing totally delicious to the point. Large portions even included something to take home were men's portions. Always my pleasure

We dined here on 9 November 2023. Sorry it's taken so long to write this review. I had made reservations on Open Table. We were staying very close by at the Crowne Plaza. We were the 1st to arrive on this evening. We were welcomed with an Amuse Bouche. Even though the receipt says Hefeweizen (Wheat Beer), I received Dunkel as requested; it was the same price. I had 2 very good ones. Other half had Korsischer Rose (wine). He started with Kuerbiscreme soup (Pumpkin Cream soup). I had a salad. For his main, he had the duck leg w/ cabbage & more. I had the Scholle Finkenwerder (a local fish) with a side of potatoes. The fish was tasty but had too many bones for my liking so I really couldn't enjoy it while I tried not to miss a bone! I would order schnitzel next time. We both passed on dessert since we were full. All in all, it was a very good meal. We thought about returning on our last (4th) night in Hamburg but decided to just get sandwiches and eat in our room and relax. The restaurant was operated by husband and wife, I think. She waited on tables, and he prepared the menu and cooked. It is a great place, especially if you're staying at the Crowne Plaza!

One of the most beautiful restaurants we have ever visited! It is directly opposite the main train station. The food is absolutely great, the staff is very nice and accommodating. A reservation is mandatory here. The store is full every day for a reason. When we are back in Hamburg, we will definitely come back!

We ate probably the two best ducks in Hamburg last night. Both the classic side dishes and the two ducks were more than perfect. As always, the service was very friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to come back

Food very good, but a bit too expensive for me

Spent a nice evening there. Reserved in advance for blue haze because we had to visit the new Flora for the musical beforehand. We were served extremely nicely, the food was super tasty and fresh. Great organic beer. All in all a successful evening! We'll be back 👌

Some time ago I wanted to have breakfast at Elvi with my husband, but unfortunately the shop was completely closed. Too bad.

Really great restaurant, very nice service, the food was very tasty, the prices are fair. We particularly recommend the sweet potato fries, extremely delicious!! It was our first time here but we will definitely come back, thank you for the great evening.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was perfectly acceptable. For a cozy dinner, we'd go elsewhere, but if you're near the harbor, we can definitely recommend Gasthaus Heimathafen.

The restaurant has been beautifully renovated but the cosiness has suffered Tables too narrow Waiter snooty The prices have increased a lot but the food has not Fried potatoes limp Meat is fried to death and therefore dry, e.g. venison fillet and smoked pork with kale The drink prices are also excessive What a shame!!

This is where I ate my first Labskaus at the age of 30 and what can I say? It was love!

So schlecht haben wir noch nie gegessen! Eigentlich kann man gar keinen Punkt geben, das Essen war unterirdisch! Bestellt haben wir Scholle Finkenwerder Art und Wiener Schnitzel (Kalb). Die Scholle war ganz tranig, nicht gewürzt und schmeckte als ob sie gefroren in die Fritteuse geworfen wurde. Die Salzkartoffeln dazu waren kalt. Das Schnitzel war nicht besser, ebenfalls aus der Fritteuse, papierdünn, zäh, dafür mit klebriger, dicker Panade. Ja, das Restaurant war einmal sehr schön mit gutem Essen. Leider hat wohl der Besitzer bzw. Betreiber gewechselt. Die Speisekarte ist nicht mehr die, die im Internet steht, sondern es gibt nur noch wenige (schlechte) Gerichte.

We were looking for a restaurant that had both a classic authentic feel and with great authentic food. Researching online, we were recommended this location. It lived up to our expectations. We did sit in a corner “behind” the bar. For more atmosphere, I would have preferred to sit with the bar visible. Price was great too. It will take a long walk or trip with the S-bahn to get here from the center, but it’s worth it.

I ordered fries in the little bistro. They were underground. Very poor quality of the fries themselves, not thoroughly fried and only seasoned with salt (no paprika/curry seasoning). Mayonnaise was a waste of resources in packaged plastic/aluminum bags and it wasn't tasty and wasn't enough. Not recommended at all. Then €4.30 for that. Nope!
