Nice staff, atmosphere, shows :)

Definitely one of my favorite places in Hamburg. Authentic atmosphere, delicious food and the best live jazz several times a week. Absolute recommendation for people who are looking for relaxed hospitality and good music.

Behind the inconspicuous facade there is a cozy and nice restaurant. The owner always had a smile on his face and a saying on his lips throughout the afternoon. We felt very welcome. The food was good and tasty. Price-performance is perfectly fine. Gladly again!

Accidentally got stranded here and experienced a taste explosion! Tarte flambée and grilled chicken breast were super tasty, the service was super nice in the beautiful little beer garden.

Great, I can only warmly recommend it, especially if a jam session is called for.

Insider tip, right around the corner from the hotel. Super delicious food, delicious fish, good meat, delicious veggie things. Be sure to try the surprise dessert. The draft beers and the white Burgundy are recommended. Very, very nice service, great boss and good cook. But the best thing was the jazz session that evening with great musicians who played great jazz spontaneously and individually. Just thumbs up, great.

Friday jam session. Good for musicians.

Absolute insider tip! How many times have I walked past the bridge star and didn't know what awaited me there. It was only because of a tip from my colleague that I went in on a Sunday evening. And it definitely won't stop at this one evening! Super delicious food, delicious wine, really nice and warm owner, attentive service staff and best of all: so many live jazz events! 100% recommendation!

Hier gibt es leckere Kleinigkeiten zu essen, tolle Biere Von den Musikern fühlten wir uns schnell in der Szene aufgenommen. Der Service ist sehr angenehm und die Preise erlauben ein wiederkommen.

Einfache Einrichtung mit Flair und sehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Hat sich absolut gelohnt!

Gegessen habe ich nichts. Sah aber lecker aus. Schönes Ambiente. Manchmal ein kleiner aber sehr feiner Jazzklub mit Nähe zu den Musikern. Toll - und bleibt hoffentlich ein Geheimtipp 😉

Wir haben in der Location unseren Geburtstag gefeiert & waren mehr als zufrieden. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. Eine super gemütliche Location mit tollem Hinterhof. Der Service war super und der Inhaber sowie Team super 👍🏻 an alle Abmachungen wurde sich gehalten und die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Super leckeres Bier, das Essen können wir nicht bewerten da wir eigenes Essen mitbringen durften als Buffet. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert. Danke Kwesi!

Leider war das Essen lauwarm. Der Sommergarten sollte mal auf Vordermann gebracht werden. Kommt man mit mehr als 10 Leute macht das Personal ein Überforderten Eindruck auf mich

Lecker Flammkuchen im kuscheligen Hintergarten gegessen, danach gab's drinnen tolle Mucke zu hören.

Tolle Szene-Kneipe mit einem überaus sympathischen afrik. Wirt, der auch sehr gut kocht. Regelmässig Jazz-Live- Musik. Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Great atmosphere of an old time pub with great 'wild fox' beer made locally (the beer was brought to us every time by a Schone Frau)...we watched top jazz musicians play Thelonias Monk titles...fantastic!

Very lovely place. The black man organizing everything there is such a great individual with an awesome personality. Would definitely visit again, I recommend this place if you like great food, drinks and good music.

I’d give it a 4.5. Super laidback restaurant serving up some traditional German dishes along with some classics. I had the rump steak and it was really tasty. The stout on draft was really good too. The lights were low and they have a stage for music, which seems like they do a bit of jazz. The staff was super nice and friendly. Worth a stop in if you get a chance.
