Absolute tourist trap. The facility looks nice and the map sounds good, but that's about it. Unfortunately, there was ready-made food at too high a price. It was edible, but far from good.

Grade: 1 – with an asterisk! The ambience? Just to fall in love with! Admittedly, when you come in you briefly think you've accidentally stumbled into the pirates' storage room - it's pretty dark. But as soon as you sit, chat and feel comfortable, you realize: That's part of the charm! It feels a bit like being on board an old wooden ship - only without the seasickness. After a few drinks, the floor even starts to shake. Authentic, right?

The restaurant is visually great, really nicely done on the inside, but this also affects the seating comfort. I think seat cushions in a dark color would not harm the charm of the restaurant and would significantly increase the seating comfort The waitresses were friendly and accommodating from start to finish. The food is good, but for the price of just under €23 for a pork schnitzel with fries, fried eggs and North Sea crabs, I no longer expect convenience products. The schnitzel and fries were frozen, the crabs were unmarinated and unseasoned, only the fried eggs and the cucumber salad seemed "handmade". The slightly higher price here probably comes more from the location at the train station than from high quality or good craftsmanship.

Ate better in Hamburg. The soup portion was very “clear” for the price. Unfortunately, the Finkenwerder plaice was just dripping with oil. Only the fried potatoes and the cucumber salad were very tasty. It's just a tourist spot at the train station... unfortunately nothing more.

The menu says WITH cucumber and tomatoes, but I had 2 small cherry tomatoes (4 halves) in the salad and NO cucumber!! NO!!! The garden should say “it may contain traces of cucumber and tomato.” So I've never had his cheekiness. So I won't be coming back again. 17€ for green leaves and a few nuts?? You really have a bird. 😤🤬

I did not know what to expect when I ordered the Labkaus and I have to say that it was very tasty, the meat and potatoes come in the shape of minced and mash mixed together so it has a bit of shepherd's pie feel to it, the beetroot and the eggs are a nice addition and the pickled herring was very tasty. The staff was attentive and accommodate my lack of German with good English skills

Eating like at Muddern – just at the main train station. As a Hamburger, you probably don't voluntarily go out to eat at the main station - too much hustle and bustle, too little hope. But the Schifferbörse was a surprise: the interior was maritime-cozy, the service was friendly (greetings to waiter Stefan!) and the kitchen delivers honest, North German craftsmanship. Labskaus as a starter was great - even if I would have preferred herring instead of rollmops. But that's what it says on the menu... my mistake, keep your eyes open for the fish dish! The North Sea plaice “Finkenwerder Style” was the highlight: crispy on the outside, tender on the inside – rarely eaten so well cooked, especially in such a large company. The “Seemannsart” schnitzel and the pan fish are also a clear recommendation – well seasoned, cleanly prepared and simply delicious. The only downer: no Hamburg beer. No Astra, no Holsten, no councilor - it's a shame, that would have been fine. Finally, a Frisian spirit with a celebratory toast from Stefan. Has style. Conclusion: If you're looking for good North German cuisine and aren't afraid of being close to the tracks - go!

Location is great! Top location and then the really good maritime interior design. Food was good but not special, but value for money was good! What was worth emphasizing was that the food was brought really quickly (approx. 10 minutes) and the service in general was a) very fast (with the exception of the confused usher) and b) super friendly.

Eat: The fish is of outstanding quality – you can taste it straight away! Fresh, perfectly prepared and served with great side dishes. Real emphasis is placed on high-quality ingredients here. Service: The service was extremely quick and attentive. Despite the restaurant being busy, there were no long waiting times, which made the visit even more pleasant. The staff is friendly, professional and makes you feel completely comfortable. Ambiance & Location: The restaurant is cozy and has a typical North German interior - exactly fitting for the port city of Cuxhaven. There are also enough parking spaces, which makes the visit even easier. Conclusion: An all-round successful experience! Fresh fish, fast service and a great atmosphere make the Cuxhaven fishing exchange a clear recommendation. I'll definitely be back!

We had Jägerschnitzel. The schnitzels were pre-breaded and deep-fried. The mushrooms in the Jäger sauce were from a can. We had our two schnitzels on the table within 10 minutes of ordering. The price/performance ratio was not right. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

Hello, the shipping exchange in Hamburg near the train station was a recommendation from my work colleague. Great ambience, very rustic and made for seafaring. Nice staff and we were lucky to have been there at lunchtime where it was still very quiet and there were enough seats. If you plan to go there in the evening, I recommend making a reservation in advance. It wasn't the last time I was there. When I'm in Hamburg again, it's a good address for delicious and down-to-earth food.

We were at the shipping exchange today. The door was open the whole time, which made it very cold in the prize room. The food was bad: the cucumber salad was more cream than cucumber, the spinach tasted like curry (!) and the plaice seemed fried and not fried. Very unfortunate.
