There were four of us for dinner. The restaurant was busy, so it was relatively loud. The waiters, there were two, were very friendly, although one of them didn't smile. I took an Augustinian plate. It was very good except for one type of meat. Unfortunately it was very stringy and you could hardly get through it with a knife. The waffle was excellent, with a light almond flavor. Really good. Basically you can eat well there. Maybe I was just unlucky with that one piece. If one waiter would smile a little more than the other, then it would be 5 stars.

We were passing through and were looking for a restaurant and came across Meyerhof. We can't understand the rating with children's portions etc. The portions are large and the price is absolutely justified.

We were in this restaurant last night and wanted something to eat and drink. We were assigned a table. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded and several tables in the front row with the great view were unoccupied (without a reservation sign). We waited 18 minutes, then got up and wanted to leave. The man came and I asked if the tables in the front row were all reserved. This was answered in the affirmative and they said from 8 p.m. Then I said, “I’m excited about that.” A short time later I ventured down the side (public path) to have a look. The man saw me and came up to me with a goose step, threatened me and told me to get away! To be honest: I have never experienced anything like this! We were obviously “persona non grata” and we probably didn’t fit into this “elitist” concept. That's discrimination in a completely different way in 2024! You should think carefully beforehand if you want to visit this restaurant!

Tender meat, fresh ingredients and the best fried potatoes around. You can tell that people still cook with passion here. - And at reasonable prices! Ambiance is simple but still cozy.

We really had a wonderful evening here. Not only does the menu sound creative and lovingly designed, the food exceeded expectations. Everything was finely prepared and tasted outstanding and the service was very friendly. What makes me particularly happy is that you can taste the appreciation of each individual product here. We will definitely come back to this somewhat hidden gem in Konstanz.

Terrible! Waited 1 hour for simple food. (Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle and pork steak with fries. Guests arrived at the table next to us after us, but had already finished eating and paying before our food came. The pork steak also came wrong (as a breaded schnitzel). Another 10 minutes. Wait...! There was no apology or any explanation from the waitress. Only the question "Did it taste good?" You couldn't tell the guest more clearly that you had no interest in him. No, after this bankruptcy no food tastes good anymore because you just want to finish eating quickly, pay and leave. And you wonder whether the operators shouldn't do something that has nothing to do with gastronomy! Really a shame and so very disappointing to have to experience something like that. I'm so glad you don't have to experience this too often. Oh - on the menu, you should carefully mark the food and ingredients for the allergens they contain. For example, breadcrumbs, spaetzle, etc. are not marked as “contains wheat”. This could end badly... Not for us, as we definitely won't be coming back! Unfortunately you have to give at least one star...

Five of us ate here for the first time. We were all very satisfied. Good selection of food and tasty prepared. Price/performance absolutely ok. Can be recommended without hesitation. We were definitely not here for the last time.
