Staff were very welcoming to us despite our poor linguistic skills. Food was delicious and the portion sizes substantial, just what we needed after our morning walk around Kehl. Thank you for such a great introduction to Germany.

The cordon bleu was completely overcooked. The response to my complaint was simply "mmm." Even though I only ate three bites, I paid the full price.

Delicious field salad with schnitzel. It's currently on the seasonal menu and completely won me over. The restaurant is already beautifully decorated for Christmas and dogs are always welcome.

While visiting Germany, I had the goal of having a good pint of German beer, and I was pleasantly surprised. The beer was good, and the person who spoke French very well was lovely and kind, very welcoming and pleasant.

Highly recommended! The food arrived quickly and was delicious, and the service was super friendly and flexible. We would definitely come back.

We were able to reserve a table at short notice. We received a friendly welcome. The restaurant was fully booked, and both the two really friendly waitresses and the kitchen were obviously overworked. Unfortunately, it took a while to order, then the drinks arrived, and we waited a good hour for the food. We all enjoyed the food, but the noise level was very loud. So please allow yourself some time if you want to eat here.

We were here with a large group and had to pre-order our meal so the kitchen would be aware of it. We were immediately quoted higher prices than the menu showed. Even after we'd finished our meal, the waitress wanted to charge each guest a flat rate of €25, even if they "only" had cheese spaetzle, which were significantly cheaper. The reason given for this was that a small drink was served with the meal. No advance notice of this was given, and as a result, I would have paid significantly more than if I had ordered the meal with a drink without a menu... We were further told that only formal attire was required. This, too, was very surprising, especially since none of the other guests were formally dressed, and the waitress was also wearing shorts... The manager's response to my comment was unfortunately unprofessional and lacked any objective discussion.

Unfortunately, we were ripped off with a package deal. Supposedly, each dish with a small drink cost €25, which was sometimes significantly more expensive than adding up the regular prices. It's a shame, because the food was delicious. The prices for a group order were also more expensive than for individual orders on site. The owner's response to my comment demonstrates his attitude: the customer is not king. During the discussion about pricing, we were told that the restaurant actually wears "fine attire." In fact, another guest, who wasn't part of our group, was wearing cycling shorts, and some of the service staff were wearing shorts... It's a shame, because, as mentioned, the food was very tasty and plentiful.

Absolutely, the food is mostly delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the seating is comfortable.

Not only is the interior beautiful, but the service and food are also excellent. We were greeted warmly right away and only had to wait a short time for our orders. The food was delicious; I personally didn't particularly like the fried potatoes, but they were still quite edible. We'd love to come back at the next opportunity. 😄

Me and my girlfriend have been here for dinner and had the possibilità to taste good dishes, poke a soup, the typical "pizza" of the area and a cordon bleau: all very good! Suggested.

I'm giving a positive review for the welcome I received at this restaurant on the evening of Whit Saturday. A friend and I arrived on our way back from Karlsruhe. It was 11 p.m. and the kitchen had just closed. The owner didn't hesitate to call his second restaurant on the market square (El Bolero) so we could still eat despite the hour. A big thank you to him. I wish I could receive such a warm welcome at some Strasbourg restaurants at 11 p.m. I will return to this restaurant, which made a very good impression on me.

Unfortunately, that was a very poor end to a lovely day we had. We were out and about all day and had a lovely day. Finally, we wanted to go out for something to eat and end the day comfortably with a good meal. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The waitress was new, which we, coming from the restaurant industry ourselves, understand. But as long as someone isn't fully trained, someone should accompany them. Unfortunately, the lady was completely overwhelmed with the ordering system, and ordering was a bit complicated. We ordered, among other things, 3x Zyrischer Geschnetzeltes.!!! We got 3x Schnitzel!! Since we had a long day and still had a 2-hour drive to go, we opted for the food. When paying, we would have expected a bit more instead of a lame apology. What annoyed us most was that we then had to pay the price of the schnitzel instead of the cheaper price of the schnitzel. Unfortunately, the salad didn't taste good and was very sour. The combination of sauce and cheese on the schnitzel was a matter of taste. We thought it didn't go together at all and didn't taste good.

Today we were disappointed here for the first time. We had two different Spritz drinks and a house lemonade, and all three were barely drinkable, not to mention disgusting – truly appalling. We've been to Meyerhof a few times before, and it was always very good, but today... It would also be nice if they could indicate on the signs outside that happy hour isn't available on public holidays. To the owner, please train the staff who were working on Ascension Day, otherwise you'll quickly lose customers. The service was friendly, though.

We were exploring Kehl and needed lunch. Very glad we went into Meyerhof. We could hear Kristine speaking in English when we went in as we have no German. Kristine helped my wife select a meal without gluten, the seafood selection, and made sure the chef knew of her requirements. My turkey snitzchel was great. Kristine provided great service. The whole dining experience was great.

Got chance to have late lunch/snack before going back. The service was very warm welcoming. Would try more if have chance to go back next time !

Very tasty and large portions. Great sauce for the veal sausages and 2 large crunchy-free Wiener schnitzels. Well-chilled white wines and professionally prepared cocktails with oomph... Attentive, friendly service. You can almost save yourself the culinary trip to Strasbourg.

We were at the Meyerhof twice last week... 1x for breakfast and 1x for dinner. The staff was very polite and nice at both times... And the food was really tasty too. Price/performance fits Absolutely recommended!!!!

Mit 4 Personen zum Mittagessen, gegen 16 Uhr. Essen kam schnell, ich hatte erneut das Steak mit Gemüse und Pommes. Zum Abschluss gabs noch einen Kaiserschmarrn. Alles lecker, nichts auszusetzen. Service war freundlich und schnell.

Spontanes Mittagessen zu dritt. Klasse, dass es durchgehend warme Küche gibt, so konnten wir uns um 15:30 Uhr ein verspätetes Mittagessen gönnen. Jeder hatte ein Rumpsteak, Pommes und Gemüse. Gutes Fleisch, alles einwandfrei zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nice restaurant, menu not too big. Baden cuisine. Service very friendly. Have been here for the 4th time now and every time it was very good. The only small drawback is that the grilled vegetables are very oily.

Unfortunately, you only find out at the door that the restaurant is closed every 2nd Thursday of the month.

Qualität und Preis stimmen absolut nicht überein. Außerdem ist es drinnen sehr kalt, sodass man sich nicht wohl fühlt. Flädlesuppe für 8 .90€ und das mit Maggi überwürzt. Für Spätzle und Speck im Feldsalat muss man extra bezahlen. Schnitzel bestand fast nur aus Panade und vieles war versalzen. Der Schweinebraten war sehr trocken. Wir waren mit 6 Personen da und keinem hat es wirklich geschmeckt. Sehr schade! Trotz Beanstandung gab es von der Küche keine Reaktion.

This unassuming café in Kehl, Germany is worth a stop. As a party of 3 we ordered... 1. Roast pork with German potato salad. Pork was tender and juicy. Potato salad was traditional and was served at room temperature and had a vinegar tang. 2. Tarte flambé (like a flat bread pizza) with goats cheese and pumpkin had generous topping and was bigger than an A4 piece of paper. 3. Dish of the day was pan fried pork with mushroom sauce served with spätzle. Number 1 on the attached menu. Good selection and variety of wines and beers. Strudel pastry wasn't as flakey as I'd hoped but the filling was tasty with spiced pie apple and sultanas. Dessert was served with generous serve of cream and ice cream.

We were passing through and were looking for a restaurant and came across Meyerhof. We can't understand the rating with children's portions etc. The portions are large and the price is absolutely justified.

Best flammkuchen I've eaten so far. We ordered Jäger (with mushrooms, onion and bacon) and it was so good. The pork shoulder is okay but I think it could be a little bit more tender.

The service is the only positive thing. The grill plate for 38.90 euros is not justified. Side dishes cold, and the meat, well. Conclusion not recommended.

A place to feel good! Based on a recommendation, we had breakfast there on our way home and were absolutely positively surprised. Great location, lovingly and creatively decorated, an attentive staff! The breakfast menu is very varied and has some dishes that you can't order at home. The portions are large, everything is fresh and delicious! We had an avocado-salmon sandwich, a Mama-Kinzig breakfast, a Mediterranean egg pan and a poor knight croque. Wow! We'll be back! Yesterday, by chance, I went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered a dish with fish and shrimp. It was delicious. For dessert, I ordered an apple strudel. I am pleasantly surprised not only because the dishes are delicious...but also because the decoration was amazing! You have masters of their craft with artistic abilities working in your kitchen! Thank you for a wonderful dinner and a good mood.

If it were after the meal, 5 stars would be appropriate. The service staff was also friendly. Unfortunately, there are some points that urgently need to be improved: Back porch could be decorated more tastefully. On our evening the women's toilet was closed without information and there was no light on in the men's toilet. That's not possible in a restaurant!

Very disappointing, we ordered food today, then something wrong was delivered to us, which we said straight away that we didn't order it, then we were offered that they would bring us the correct food and we could keep the other one. So that nothing ends up in the trash, we didn't replace it and kept the wrong food. In the end we would have to pay twice for what was delivered incorrectly and for what we forgot even though it wasn't our mistake. The excuse was that we ordered it anyway even though we didn't get it. Sorry Lor... but that's a no go in a restaurant like this, hence so few stars. That was a disgrace on your part. I had 3 children with me otherwise I wouldn't have paid anything and had the police come on my own initiative

Ich habe einen ersten Wurstsalat gegessen. Dieser kostet 14,90 €. Es war sehr viel grüner Salat in der Mitte und sehr wenig Wurstsalat. Eine Frechheit eigentlich für diesen Preis! Er war gut, aber definitiv zu klein für diesen Preis. Die Toiletten sind auch nicht besonders sauber und seit einiger Zeit fehlt auch die Beleuchtung. Schade, denn es war schon mal besser!

With our visit to Kehl, eating at the Meyerhot restaurant left us with a great taste in our mouths. The owner Edwige is charming and a great professional along with her team, she knew how to advise us on an excellent meal, good product and quantity, the restaurant is beautiful and a fabulous terrace for lunch or dinner in peace, Good salads and meats, both pork and beef. I was there for breakfast today with 3 other people. The selection on the menu is huge, and everything sounded great! But we were very disappointed in this regard! The rolls were not of bakery quality, they were over-baked and some of them had not yet been baked through. The sausage (turkey breast) was paper thin and definitely out of the package. Then there was salmon substitute and the fresh fruit salad with yoghurt was canned fruit! Unfortunately it was very disappointing. I've also been there in the evening and I really enjoyed it...so breakfast can still be improved! The service was alone, very friendly, but everything took forever.

The food was always very good, but the orders tended to get mixed up at the beginning and the staff wasn't always very attentive, but they were always very friendly. Prices are absolutely reasonable and will happily come back.

A delightful restaurant and pub very close to the D tram Kehl Rathhaus station. They have a street dining area in front, a pub inside and a garden area in back for beer and watching football games. The food was both very tasty (Baden specialties) and VERY plentiful...consider ordering one plate to split between two people. The staff is a delight: very friendly and helpful with great English skills. Recommended!
