Meyerhof in Kehl

We were passing through and were looking for a restaurant and came across Meyerhof. We can't understand the rating with children's portions etc. The portions are large and the price is absolutely justified.

The service is the only positive thing. The grill plate for 38.90 euros is not justified. Side dishes cold, and the meat, well. Conclusion not recommended.

Best flammkuchen I've eaten so far. We ordered Jäger (with mushrooms, onion and bacon) and it was so good. The pork shoulder is okay but I think it could be a little bit more tender.

A place to feel good! Based on a recommendation, we had breakfast there on our way home and were absolutely positively surprised. Great location, lovingly and creatively decorated, an attentive staff! The breakfast menu is very varied and has some dishes that you can't order at home. The portions are large, everything is fresh and delicious! We had an avocado-salmon sandwich, a Mama-Kinzig breakfast, a Mediterranean egg pan and a poor knight croque. Wow! We'll be back! We were here for lunch today with 7 people. We were warmly welcomed and served. The food was very good and plentiful for everyone and everyone enjoyed it. We were happy here and will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Yesterday, by chance, I went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered a dish with fish and shrimp. It was delicious. For dessert, I ordered an apple strudel. I am pleasantly surprised not only because the dishes are delicious...but also because the decoration was amazing! You have masters of their craft with artistic abilities working in your kitchen! If it were after the meal, 5 stars would be appropriate. The service staff was also friendly. Very disappointing, we ordered food today, then something wrong was delivered to us, which we said straight away that we didn't order it, then we were offered that they would bring us the correct food and we could keep the other one. So that nothing ends up in the trash, we didn't replace it and kept the wrong food. Ich habe einen ersten Wurstsalat gegessen. Dieser kostet 14,90 €. Es war sehr viel grüner Salat in der Mitte und sehr wenig Wurstsalat. Eine Frechheit eigentlich für diesen Preis! Er war gut, aber definitiv zu klein für diesen Preis. Die Toiletten sind auch nicht besonders sauber und seit einiger Zeit fehlt auch die Beleuchtung. Schade, denn es war schon mal besser!

With our visit to Kehl, eating at the Meyerhot restaurant left us with a great taste in our mouths. The owner Edwige is charming and a great professional along with her team, she knew how to advise us on an excellent meal, good product and quantity, the restaurant is beautiful and a fabulous terrace for lunch or dinner in peace, Good salads and meats, both pork and beef. I was there for breakfast today with 3 other people. The selection on the menu is huge, and everything sounded great! But we were very disappointed in this regard! The rolls were not of bakery quality, they were over-baked and some of them had not yet been baked through. The sausage (turkey breast) was paper thin and definitely out of the package. Then there was salmon substitute and the fresh fruit salad with yoghurt was canned fruit! Unfortunately it was very disappointing. I've also been there in the evening and I really enjoyed it...so breakfast can still be improved! The service was alone, very friendly, but everything took forever.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück, bei dem Preis Leistung wirklich noch stimmt, immer freundliches Personal!!!!! Wir sind öfter dort und die Leistung ist gleichbleibend gut, findet man auch noch selten.

Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije bediening. Denken mee, o.a. een alcoholvrije cocktail voor mn dochter maken. Heel tof! Verder is het een knusse zaak, netjes en schoon. Het eten was heerlijk en vers. Wij kwamen hier per ongeluk terecht, maar komen bewust nog gaag eens terug!

A delightful restaurant and pub very close to the D tram Kehl Rathhaus station. They have a street dining area in front, a pub inside and a garden area in back for beer and watching football games. The food was both very tasty (Baden specialties) and VERY plentiful...consider ordering one plate to split between two people. The staff is a delight: very friendly and helpful with great English skills. Recommended!

The store has its own style, a mishmash of wallpaper, pictures, brick look. But with the old lamps it's just harmonious and beautiful, especially in combination with the music. The main course was prawns on linguine, which was pretty much the tastiest pasta I've had in combination with fish in recent years. The second main course was the Elsässer Schnitzel, which was unusual for me but still very tasty. I don't think even the fries came from a bag but were homemade. And even if they didn't, they were just great and that's how it should be after all. Something to say about the service. It was noticeable that you enjoy your job and do it with passion. The small mistake that the starters came with the main courses can also be forgiven. (Although I don't know whether it was the kitchen or the service that missed it.) Nevertheless, you are great and if we are here again, we would like to come back.

Terrible experience. This was our first time in Germany and we came in hoping to try the local cuisine. But this place is definitely not for tourists - the menu is only in German, without pictures, and there is no banal wi-fi. These are all minor things compared to the fact that one person out of three didn’t get their order and was sent back to the kitchen when everyone else had already eaten. Salat bekam ich erst auf Nachfrage obwohl es in der Speisekarte steht. Salat hatte kein Geschmack, Schnitzel dünn wie eine Zeitung. Essen nur noch lauwarm. Für 22.90, Euro ist das Essen nicht wert.

The best breakfast we have had here in Kehl so far. A Dreher or Peter's good bakery or skyscraper is nowhere near it. Given the price-performance ratio, we can only recommend it. A hot drink and orange juice are even included here.

We went to this restaurant for dinner this evening. Wanted the tomahawk steak that was advertised in the menu on their website. Unfortunately there isn't and that was a good thing so maybe a lot of money for poor quality. The menu on the homepage does not match the menu (prices higher) in the restaurant. So now to the quality of the food: We ordered Schäufele and a Kassler roast was served. The meat was from the neck and not the shoulder. Perhaps it could have been declared like that. Quality of the food, well, at exorbitant prices. The boss was confronted with it and was very friendly and wanted to buy a schnapps. We didn't want a schnapps on the house because it doesn't make the food any better. I wonder how such good reviews come about. In short: we can't recommend it and definitely won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, it happened to us for the third time that we had to wait for the drinks (over half an hour), so we already had our food on the table and the drinks only came afterwards! Drinks were a Hefeweizen (which was also well below the calibration mark) and a wine. The guests at the next table had the same problem! Shouldn't happen!

Went spontaneously for dinner at Meyerhof in the evening. We like the furnishings/ambience, the waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Had a cordon bleu with Münster cheese, delicious! Side salad and fried potatoes could have been a little better (for my taste), but all in all ok. Would love to come back.

I ordered a tarte flambée. It was in the oven too long and the edges of the dough became dry and hard.

Wir waren gestern hier essen und alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. - Das Ambiente - Der Service - Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken - Die Qualität des Essens. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Endroit très agréable, propre et personnel accueillant et sympa. Le repas par contre (gibier) manquait de rafinesse et ressemblait à un repas de cantine. Dommage, le prix n'était pas en cohérence avec la prestation. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Heute angekommen in Kehl und auf der Suche nach einem lokalem Restaurant gewesen. Hier haben wir einen einheimischen befragt und er hat uns diesen empfohlen. Wir können nur sagen fantastisch lecker und sehr freundlich die Bedienungen. Das Essen hat echt mehr als 5 Sterne verdient. Grüße aus Ingolstadt/Bayern
