Incredibly tasty and very large portions. We came spontaneously on Sunday evening and were given a very friendly welcome. On Sunday the kitchen closes at 8 p.m., we weren't there until 7:15 p.m. and got everything including dessert, even though the kitchen had theoretically already closed for dessert, that's hospitality, thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

The food, onion roast and sauerbraten, was really good. The salad was fresh and the potato salad was really tasty. The landlady was nice and friendly. Good atmosphere. We'll be back. I think it's really positive that the food menu fits on one page, which gives me confidence that everything is fresh and not convenience or frozen. You don't always need a large selection.

A wonderful day - the perfect wedding celebration! We celebrated our civil wedding in the Mohren and it was just perfect! We were warmly looked after in advance and we were able to coordinate an individual menu with the service manager so that everything met our expectations. On the day itself, everything was prepared down to the smallest detail on the beautifully covered terrace. The atmosphere was stylish and appealing - exactly what we wanted for our celebration. The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly and professional. Our guests and we were well looked after and so we were able to enjoy everything to the fullest. The food was, as always, a highlight - from the starters to the dessert! A huge thank you to the entire Mohren team! You made this special day unforgettable for us! We will definitely be back and can recommend you without reservation!

Absolutely outstanding service and food. I came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and mentioned it to the team — they went above and beyond by surprising her with a complimentary cake. Huge thanks to Resul and his team for making the evening so special. The food was exceptional as well; we had the fish and the ochsenbacke, both cooked to perfection. A flawless experience from start to finish. 10/10, highly recommended.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Delicious food at fair prices. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Waldhotel for 2 days and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is loving and warm. The food was phenomenal, we eat vegan and the food left nothing to be desired, big compliments to the kitchen team, we were thrilled and would love to come back!! The wellness area was also great. The stay was very good except for one thing. We were woken up by the smoke alarm three times during the night. I think it was at 11:00 PM, 3:00 AM, and 7:00 AM. There were four short beeps each time. Perhaps a warning that the battery was running low? This can be prevented by taking precautions.

The boss takes some getting used to - almost a bit rude... Spaetzle and fried potatoes are offered, nothing more... If you change the supplement there is a 2€ surcharge - I personally find it "outrageous" In terms of taste, it was recommended, but I personally won't go there a second time!
