Sehr leckere Speisen an blanken Tischen. :-) Der Beilagensalat vorweg ein Gedicht. Die Cordon Bleu‘s sind sehr zu empfehlen! Der Sauerbraten superzart mit dem richtigen Maß an Säure. Leckere Spätzle. Der Service supersympathisch, präsent und mit guter Beratung! Sehr gerne wieder!

Los platos muy abundantes, la atención buena, pero por favor, no se puede cobrar 0,5 litros de agua del grifo a casi 5 euros, no sé qué les pasa a los alemanes, en varios restaurantes nos encontramos con un precio totalmente desorbitado del agua. Ya me duele pagar por una botellita de agua mineral de 0,75 más de 7 euros, pero si encima sirve el agua en una botella rellenada del grifo, me parece intolerable.

Wir sind auf Empfehlung von Bekannte hingegangen und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr empfehlenswert, gute Speisen, gute Preisen und sehr freundlichen Personal. Gerne wieder!

The “Goldener Anker” restaurant in Freiburg impresses with its idyllic seating under old chestnut trees, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. The friendly service makes you feel immediately welcome and the food is simply delicious - especially the cordon bleu, which is served tender and perfectly seasoned. An all-round successful experience that I can only warmly recommend to everyone!

Looking for where to eat a schnitzel in Freiburg, the reviews I found about this restaurant were interesting. The truth is that we tried both styles of schnitzel and I couldn't say which one was better. The staff is friendly and the opening hours are curious. Keep it in mind if you are going to go. The prices are correct and the place is clean and cared for.

The Anker is a nice restaurant with regional cuisine. The selection is large enough for everyone to find something. The food came very quickly and was also quite tasty. The service was very quick, friendly and attentive. Since the restaurant is very popular, a reservation is recommended, especially for larger groups.

I had an incredible dining experience at Goldener Anker. The Cordon Bleu Scharfer Ankler (spicy) was fantastic, offering a delicious kick that I thoroughly enjoyed. The ambiance was equally impressive; we sat on the quaint patio surrounded by trees, which provided a charming and cozy atmosphere. Even when it started to sprinkle, the tree cover kept us protected, adding to the delightful experience. Highly recommend this spot for its great food and lovely setting!

The interior of the restaurant is a bit old. Service staff very friendly and attentive. Small menu, but you're guaranteed to find something to eat here too. The food itself was very good, the portions were very generous. Price performance absolutely within the framework.

The golden anchor is a really great place to end the evening with a great schnitzel! Despite the fact that we didn't make a reservation and there was a lot to do that evening, we were immediately given a place on the terrace upon request. The staff was always friendly and helpful! The waiter always had a funny saying on his lips and impressed everyone with his friendly manner! The portions were sufficient and super tasty. The food was served in no time. We would come back at any time!!

We were traveling through Switzerland in the golden anchor and were thrilled. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we managed to get a seat for 5 people in the busy restaurant. The venison goulash and the cordon bleu are particularly recommended. The local beer was super tasty (Ganter) and the service from the guys was excellent. On the way to Switzerland I noticed that I had forgotten my bag with money and all the cards etc. The owner personally met with me and then handed it over to me without missing a cent. Chapeau for so much courtesy and honesty. Absolute recommendation!!!

Nice quaint typical German restaurant. Rustic interior that is kept clean. The service was perfect and very friendly. The food was excellent and absolutely filled you up. I would come back here at any time. A variety of vegetarian dishes are also available.

The owner is really unique, very warm and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Nice beer garden and easily accessible in Freiburg. My tip: it's best to reserve well in advance, otherwise you may not get a seat at all. Reason: Trendy location with event gastronomy.

I think the cordon bleu here was super tasty. I was here on my birthday. I ordered Black Forest Cordon Bleu which was really good and served with a really large portion. My partner ordered schnitzel with spaetzle and that was also very tasty. The service was good. The atmosphere was hearty. The price was good and reasonable for the large portion. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table. I would recommend reserving a table in advance.

We ate on the terrace under an old chestnut tree at a pleasant 23 degrees. The drinks and ordering process went quite quickly and the food arrived quickly without having to wait very long. The food was very tasty and the meat and fish were well fried, nothing was greasy, spaetzle, sauce and potato salad were awesome 🤩. The staff is really cool and really open-hearted. Wishes are fulfilled without discussions and every guest is treated equally. Thanks to the food, the chef and the staff. This is how we like to eat. Until next time 😀

Quaint restaurant and the food and service are top class

There were two of us here and we each had the schnitzel with Brägele and salad. The salad was very tasty and filling; the schnitzel is crispy and pounded nice and thin. The service was also attentive and the atmosphere in the small “beer garden” was cozy. Price/performance is definitely right here - definitely worth a visit.

Restaurante de cocina auténticamente Alemana. Atendido por una familia, muy lindo acogedor y con una gran jardín que en días de verano debe ser hermoso. La comida es muy buena aunque no hay variedad de platos, lo que comimos estaba rico, tampoco tienen una carta de vinos, solo el precio por copa. Lo que hace temeroso pedir una botella…alejado del ruido de la ciudad. Se come bien. Sencillo pero caro para mi gusto por la sencillez del lugar.

L’offerta è improntata su piatti tedeschi e io e la mia compagna abbiamo gustato una buona cotoletta di vitello con patate. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Servizio gentile e molto alla buona. Valida la bollicina extra brut di pinot bianco in purezza prodotta da Pfaffenweiler.

Pleasant evening in this simple restaurant located in a residential area not far from the center. The offer is based on German dishes and my partner and I enjoyed a good veal cutlet with potatoes. Excellent quality-price relation. Friendly and very good service. The pure extra brut sparkling wine produced by Pfaffenweiler is valid.

Very tasty food, I still rave about the Cordon Bleu with Black Forest ham. First of all, there are no fries, our children had long faces, but in the end they were happy too. The service felt like it could be improved (we were there with friends). This is probably also due to the fact that it was overrun as soon as it opened and there was an employee who was very nice but probably had little to do with the catering industry beforehand.

We were there with a group and we were overcharged for three meals. The owner was unreasonable and we finally had to pay, swallow the toad and leave the Lokas immediately.

We had reserved the next room for our celebration of a dear friend's big birthday. A good 25 people fit comfortably here. The food is of high quality (three vegetarian dishes are on the menu) and you can expect large but digestible portions. I would particularly like to mention Erwin and Paul, who not only served our company exceptionally well, but, above all, also managed the operation in the regular taproom at the same time. Hats off, we felt honored as guests!

I like simple, down-to-earth places like this. So the ambience fits very well with Anker. Of course the food should also be ok, that's why you go to a restaurant. I was surprised, first of all, the prices, almost €20 for a small pork schnitzel, that doesn't correspond to the price level for a place like this. But then: completely dried out schnitzel on the plate, we were disappointed. Unfortunately, service was also quite spotty, there was definitely too much to do. Don't know if we'll go again.

We went to the Golden Anker Essen today. The sauerbraten tasted like Essence vinegar, and the fried potatoes tasted like stale fat! The Alsatian sausage salad is made with a lot of cheap cheese and is not particularly dressed. The service was attentive and friendly!

Gerne hätten meine Eltern und ich das sehr gut bewertete Essen probiert ...aber da wir vor der Tür stehen gelassen wurden ......von 10 Minuten vor 12 bis nach 12 Uhr obwohl Personal anwesend war....das aber bevorzugt hat lieber noch eine zu rauchen statt uns das Törchen zu öffnen.....sind wir dann wieder gegangen und haben dafür in der Feierling Brauerei lecker zu Mittag gegessen. Wir fanden es schade da wir das Lokal testen wollten für die Geburtstagsfeier meiner Mutter.

Wie immer einfach lecker !! Freundlicher und guter Service !! Einfach empfehlenswert !

Schönes kleines Wirtshaus, mit leckerem Bier, Essen und netter Bedienung und vernünftigen Preisen! Wenn wir wieder mal in Freiburg sein sollten, werden wir auf jeden Fall noch einmal einkehren. P.s. man sollte auf jeden Fall vorher Reservieren (zumindest Abends). Wir hatten Glück, da wir nur zu zweit waren und konnten "dazwischen geschoben" werden. Danke dafür!

Man wird beim Betreten vom super netten Besitzer begrüßt. Die Gerichte sind gut bürgerlich. Jedes unserer bestellten Essen inklusive Beilagen war hausgemacht und geschmacklich hervorragend! Beim nächsten Besuch in Freiburg gehen wir hier wieder essen.

A pesar de que el restaurante estaba llenísimo el personal fue súper atento, servicial y simpático con nosotros. Nos sentimos bienvenidos y muy bien atendidos. Especialmente el jefe era muy atento y agradable con sus clientes, también con niños. La comida estaba deliciosa y las cervezas eran muy buenas. El restaurante eran típico alemán con mobiliario de madera. Si alguno día regresamos a Friburgo, volveremos a visitaros. Saludos desde Bonn!
