First of all: I don't normally write reviews, but the boss simply deserves it. We had an excellent meal and felt very welcome despite visiting with a baby. We are restaurateurs ourselves and have to say the evening was a 10|10. The chef simply knows his craft from starters to dessert and the counter and waiters were super friendly and extremely helpful. I just have to briefly mention here that the counter accompanied us to the car to help us carry the stroller and also offered us a separate room to breastfeed when the baby became restless. Really warm team. Everything is really right here, a restaurant that is highly recommended.

If you want to enjoy the good Baden wines and alcoholic drinks, you can take bus 19 or bus 32 from Padua-Allee directly to the stop in front of the entrance instead of taking the car. You feel comfortable in the Löwen in Lehen and in the evening you can look forward to the delicious Baden cuisine of the traditional house. This is also reflected in the good occupancy, you should reserve early, especially when there are celebrations like now!

Room on the 3rd floor, difficult with luggage, but otherwise good, breakfast included in the price, very positive!!

We spontaneously went to Freiburg for a weekend in January and were looking for a good restaurant. This restaurant was recommended by Trip Advisor as a home-style restaurant. We were able to spontaneously reserve a table for the evening. Without a reservation, I think it would be difficult. The service was outstanding! The waitress was in her element and you could tell that she enjoys what she does! The food was also excellent, we had 2 steaks with fried potatoes and salad. The atmosphere was middle class, the audience was more of an upper age group, but that was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely come back again!

I would have liked to give 5*, but a waiting time of a good 75-90 minutes. It's not possible for me until the food comes. Even when the store is full. I actually wanted to be finished at 9:30 p.m. And the portions were quite manageable. So if you're really hungry, it's better to order more. Apart from that, a quaint and very friendly inn. The food was very good and tasty. We also stayed there in a beautiful room with beams. The bed was simply wonderful and we slept excellently. In the morning, a great breakfast with everything your heart desires. 104€ is very okay for that!

Went for dinner with 5 people. The service was very personal and attentive, special children's menu. To pass the time, children are provided with their own drawing pictures and pens. Drinks and orders were taken quickly, as was a greeting from the kitchen. For a full inn on a Sunday, the wait was pleasant. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is really pleasant. We would like to come again.

A very nice, well-kept restaurant. Although it was very busy, the conditions arrived quickly and were friendly. The selection on the menu is wide and offers dishes ranging from moderate to high-priced dishes. Highly recommended in terms of taste. The meals were very well balanced and prepared with great attention to detail. My personal highlight is the sliced ​​meat. We'd love to come back.

A very hospitable house We stayed here twice during our week-long vacation in Freiburg. Both times we had seats on the terrace, where we felt very comfortable. The Baden friendliness of the owners and staff as well as the quality of the food and wine and, last but not least, the wonderful weather contributed to this. We can fully recommend this house.

Das Essen war gut, aber auch wiederum nichts besonderes, Preis Leistung finde ich etwas überspannt. Was aber gar nicht geht, das man überall von Zigarettenqualm eingeräuchert wird. Wenn ich in einem hochpreisigen Restaurant esse möchte ich nicht überall eingeräuchert werden, auch auf der Terrasse nicht!!!! Das geht gar nicht und ist für mich nicht akzeptabel.

Wunderschöne Gaststube (Nebenstube), Speisen auf den Punkt gekocht, souveräner Service. Danke für einen gelungenen Abend und bald wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Gasthaus. Tolles Ambiente – Rustikal-Modern! Alles mit Liebe dekoriert. Vieles wird immer noch hausgemacht (Spätzle, Maultaschen). Empfehle es gerne weiter.

Dieses Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr gute Küche, freundlicher Service, sowie ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alle, die nicht hier waren, haben viel versäumt. Also: Auf in den Gasthof Löwen in Freiburg-Lehen!!!!!!!

Ich hätte gerne 5* gegeben, aber eine Wartezeit von guten 75-90Min. bis das Essen kommt geht für mich gar nicht. Auch, wenn der Laden voll ist. Um 21:30 wollte ich eigentlich fertig sein. Und die Portionen waren recht übersichtlich. Also für den großen Hunger lieber mehr bestellen. Davon abgesehen aber ein urige und sehr freundliches Gasthaus. Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Wir haben auch dort übernachtet in einem wunderschönen Zimmer mit Balken. Das Bett war einfach wunderbar und wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Morgens dann ein tolles Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. 104€ sind dafür sehr okay!

we went to the restaurant without taking a reservation in advance. still the owner welcomed us and squeezed us in before the reservation arrived. our food (liver & beef filet) were amazing. the service was friendly and everything was served quickly and with a smile. i highly recommend this restaurant and wish all the best to the owner & staff. ❤️
