Delicious food, attentive service

The food was delicious, and despite not having a reservation, we were served and had a lovely table in the back of the restaurant. Highly recommended if you enjoy good, traditional German cuisine.

The service was friendly and attentive, although the timing between courses could have been a bit better. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Overall, a very pleasant visit that I would gladly repeat.

The food was delicious... but the service left much to be desired. The wait was very long. After half an hour, we were told that they had run out of tzatziki and would be offered hummus instead when ordering the vegan gyros. Perhaps this was because they had to toast the departing head chef several times. The overall experience was definitely marred by the constant long waits and, at times, unfriendly staff. The server even had to ask us how much change to give us. A shame.

I had a really good experience at Wirtshaus Mohren. They served a delicious, gluten-free breaded schnitzel that tasted great, and the portion size was also great. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I was particularly pleased that they informed me that the fries were unfortunately not gluten-free due to possible contamination. You can tell that they cater to celiac disease here, and you feel well looked after as a guest. Highly recommended!

We visited Wirtshaus Mohren with a large group (7 adults and 3 children) and were absolutely thrilled! Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and very attentive service. Despite our group size, everything went smoothly – the team was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always there with a smile. The food was a real highlight: fresh, regional, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Everyone – young and old – found something to suit their taste and was more than satisfied. We were particularly impressed by how child-friendly the inn is. The children were not only warmly welcomed but also well looked after. The atmosphere is cozy and typical of an inn – you immediately feel at home. The value for money is absolutely spot on, and we highly recommend Wirtshaus Mohren. We'll definitely be back!

Large restaurant with outdoor seating. Good to very good food with fresh ingredients. Prices are on the higher side. Portion sizes are still okay. But what impressed me most was the service. I've never experienced anything so friendly and relaxed, even though the restaurant was full and there were very few people serving. Amazing.

I was at the Gasthaus Mohren in Ravensburg on business and had a salmon salad – very fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. 👍 The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, a really good impression – I highly recommend it! The kitchen is very well organized – we didn't have to wait long for the food.

The restaurant left a positive impression on us. The service was excellent, the food arrived quickly, and was delicious and plentiful. Three main courses with iced tea and water came to €65, including tip.

Delicious food. We had the roast pork, which was particularly notable for its gravy. The veal schnitzel was also well prepared and came with cranberries. Unfortunately, it took over half an hour for all three of us to get our food. The dishes arrived very staggered.

You have to order fries separately with the burger 🍔... I got a tiny portion for just under €6, and it seemed like it was leftovers from a bag, very fresh! My companion had the hash brown with a patty, which is all you get for just under €18... To top it off, the Coke was still 🫠

The sight of the name and the racist depiction of Black people completely put me off. It's not contemporary, and even if it doesn't affect you personally, the owners should rethink their marketing.

Beautiful ambiance and delicious food. We ate there with a larger group and were really satisfied (we had made reservations long in advance, of course). The food was delicious and the staff friendly. I personally really enjoyed the roast beef with onions, and the meat was cooked to perfection, medium-rare. A little tip for the restaurant: I might add the sauce separately, but otherwise it was great. The salad was tasty; I just felt it was missing some cabbage or something similar. The crème brûlée was delicious, and the caramelized topping was very tasty. I think the restaurant is really beautifully designed with the old vaulted cellar ceiling. We all felt very comfortable. The food was great (vegan gyros with grilled vegetables/champignons and tzatziki) with a full selection, the service was friendly and quick, but the seating outside on a moderately busy street was mediocre (but you can also sit inside).

The food: We had the steak with fries. It was simply fabulous. We also had a cool wheat beer. The service was very friendly. The ambiance was very pleasant and rustic. The restrooms were really clean. All in all, a lovely holiday meal. And completely satisfied with the price. If we're ever here again, we'll be happy to visit the restaurant again.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Mohren. We were especially pleased with the great gluten-free options. It would have been nice if the fries were also available gluten-free. The Swabian food was excellent; unfortunately, the spare ribs were a bit dry. The seating was comfortable, and the service was friendly and competent.

A nice restaurant in the center of Ravensburg. The food was really good and arrived promptly despite the busy crowd. The staff was very attentive, which is quite remarkable given the number of customers. The interior was unexpectedly large, which we only glimpsed due to the weather. For us, the ambiance is primarily determined by the exterior. What the owner can't do is the crowd of posers showing off their valved exhausts on the narrow street. It's annoying, and not just outside. I will definitely be back. Parking is very convenient in the nearby parking garage under the shopping center.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Wirtshaus Mohren in Ravensburg, and I have to say, it was a truly delicious experience! As soon as you entered, you sensed a pleasant, traditional atmosphere that invited you to linger. I ordered the schnitzel with fries and a small side salad – a classic that often speaks volumes about the quality of a kitchen. And I was not disappointed! The schnitzel was perfectly breaded and fried to a golden brown, tender and juicy on the inside. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the salad was fresh and crisp with a light dressing. I also want to particularly highlight the second dish we had: tender meat in a creamy sauce, accompanied by homemade spaetzle and a colorful selection of perfectly cooked vegetables such as carrots, snow peas, broccoli, and cauliflower. The spaetzle were a dream – just as you would expect in a traditional German tavern. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. You felt well looked after and could enjoy the meal to the fullest. The wait times were absolutely reasonable. Wirtshaus Mohren is definitely a place I can recommend to lovers of German cuisine. The food is not only of high quality and delicious, but also visually appealing. An all-around successful visit that leaves you wanting more!

We were registered as a coach party and had selected and pre-ordered five dishes. All 40 people were annoyed because there was absolutely nothing to complain about 😂. Excellent Allgäu cuisine, fast, attentive, and friendly service. Highly recommended and we'd be happy to go again.

The first photo shows a gluten-free children's schnitzel. The gravy was confirmed as gluten-free after consultation with the kitchen. Overall, the food was very tasty and the portions were large.

Waren gestern vor Ort, sind aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hingegangen und haben die schlechten Bewertungen eher ignoriert, Leider muss ich sagen, dass das Essen sehr enttäuschend war. Mein Mann hatte das schwäbische Dreierlei und ich Spargel mit Rosmarinkartoffeln und Schweinefilet. Beide Gerichte sind nicht gerade preiswert mit fast 30€ pro Gericht, aber die Qualität war doch sehr bescheiden. Optisch zwar sehr ansprechend, aber geschmacklich waren beide Gerichte so als wären sie aufgewärmt worden und nicht frisch zubereitet. Resümee: Personal sehr freundlich, Location sehr ansprechend (bis auf die Toiletten, die könnten besser gereinigt sein), Essen leider sehr enttäuschend.

A wonderful day - the perfect wedding celebration! We celebrated our civil wedding in the Mohren and it was just perfect! We were warmly looked after in advance and we were able to coordinate an individual menu with the service manager so that everything met our expectations. On the day itself, everything was prepared down to the smallest detail on the beautifully covered terrace. The atmosphere was stylish and appealing - exactly what we wanted for our celebration. The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly and professional. Our guests and we were well looked after and so we were able to enjoy everything to the fullest. The food was, as always, a highlight - from the starters to the dessert! A huge thank you to the entire Mohren team! You made this special day unforgettable for us! We will definitely be back and can recommend you without reservation!

On the way home to Nattheim after a great day hiking tour in the Allgäu, we stopped here to eat something delicious. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and invites you to sit down. When the weather is nice, there are also plenty of seats available outside in front of the restaurant ☀️ The menu is pleasantly clear (I personally don't need 12 different schnitzel variants on one menu) and offers something delicious to choose from for every taste. I chose the breaded pork schnitzel with fries, my wife chose the veal Maultaschen with potato salad. First of all there was a delicious mixed side salad. Short and painless: Everything tasted really delicious 😃 Service friendly and courteous at all times, absolutely fair prices... What more could you want ✔️

I recommend booking a table here. We were there midweek during the holiday season and the restaurant was almost full. A large menu with a selection of dishes so that everyone can find something. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the starter salad, which was very tasty. I didn't finish my portion of fish and asked if they could pack it for me. It meant that for a small fee (I think €0.70) I got a great shrink-wrapped package with my food👍👍👍.

I was there for lunch today; the service was very friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was cozy. I ordered a "Wirtshaus Burger." Unfortunately, the patty was more reminiscent of a meatball than a classic beef burger patty from (Alpine) cattle, which was a shame. The texture was also odd. But: Perhaps a "Wirtshaus Burger" is different, and thus a matter of taste. I'll order something different next time; the burger wasn't my cup of tea.

Gluten free or not? Two dishes on the menu can be ordered as a gluten-free option. The gluten-free schnitzel with fries or gluten-free burger. Unfortunately, the fries are not really gluten-free, as foods containing gluten are also prepared in the deep fryer. We still ordered both. Neither of them impressed us with the taste. I was particularly annoyed by the misleading wording in the card. If it says gluten-free, you should get gluten-free.

Restaurant mit modernen Ambiente, trotzdem rustikal gemütlich. Angenehme Atmosphäre und rasche, freundliche Bedienung. Allerdings waren wir mit dem Essen nicht sehr zufrieden: Die Krautkrapfen waren fettig und offenbar nicht frisch zubereitet, sondern in der Bratpfanne aufgebraten; der Kartoffelrösti unter dem Burgerfleisch (eigentlich eine nette Idee, so ein Rösti-Burger) war vom Fett des Burgers durchtränkt. Dafür passte dann das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht mehr. Lokal ist sympathisch, das Essen naja.

The ambience was nice and the service was also very nice, but the quality of the meat (once duck and once venison ragout) was unfortunately really bad. The duck's skin was wobbly and the meat was tough. The venison was also tough and not tender. We expected something different from the reviews here. Too bad!

We checked in for the weekend and had breakfast included, which was very extensive and varied. There was actually nothing that didn't exist, except maybe. with the fruit salad, which had little other than apple pieces. The rolls were fresh and like they came from a bakery, so no baked rolls - great!
