Very nice restaurant with a fantastic view of Lake Constance - also from the inside. Our highlights were the winter bread with wild garlic and goat cheese and the Müller-Thurgau. Really great food & wine. The service was very attentive and personable. We spent a lovely evening here and will definitely come back next time in Meersburg

Die Gastgeber Resul und Andi sind schon im Vorfeld auf meinen Wunsch eingegangen und haben alkoholfreien Sekt und Wein organisiert, danke! Der Abend war phantastisch, die Location, das Essen war auf sehr hohem Niveau und die Atmosphäre. Die zwei Servicekräfte Steffi und Thibea waren trotz der vielen Arbeit super freundlich, aufmerksam und man fühlte sich willkommen. Danke für den wunderschönen Star t in 2025. Wenn wir wieder in Meersburg sind kommen wir gerne. Wir wünschen euch für 2025 das Allerbeste

When the weather is nice, one of the best places on Lake Constance

Yesterday we were in the Gutsschänke with 13 people. Actually, the Gutsschänke would not have opened until 5:00 p.m. The tavern was opened especially for us for lunch. I didn't expect that at all. We were thrilled! Top! Kind regards from Zumbusch family and Men family

The four of us were there at 4 p.m. on a cloudy December day and were kindly invited in. The kitchen doesn't open until 5 p.m. but Stephie (as we found out later) said: "I'll bring a winemaker's bread there." And how she managed it! Add a glass of fine estate wine - absolutely recommended. At 5pm Stephie brought the menu with a friendly smile. The food was also delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The food and service were fine. The table arrangement could be improved with a little thought. Especially if you know that a larger group is coming.

We spent a great Sunday with a late lunch in the Gutsschänke - the food was very tasty - the team allowed us to order by phone because we arrived too late, around 2:30 p.m. Afterwards we enjoyed lunch on the terrace with wine, espresso and mulled wine with a winter sunset. The restaurant impresses with a small but excellently put together menu that clearly focuses on quality rather than quantity. Every dish was prepared with love and exceeded our expectations. Particularly noteworthy is the owner, who is a host par excellence with his warmth and courteous nature. The service was impeccable, friendly and pleasantly down to earth - exactly what you would hope for in this charming area. At the crowning conclusion, we were able to enjoy the beautiful view, which rounded off the evening perfectly. A place that we can fully recommend – for connoisseurs who value a cozy atmosphere and excellent cuisine. We'd love to come back!

Went there for dinner with friends, the service was extremely courteous and to the point. The food was very tasty with regional ingredients and beautifully prepared. The individual components of the dishes harmonized perfectly and it was absolutely a taste experience. The owner also kept coming to the table. We can absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back.

Very well attended restaurant offers many events

The restaurant is located in a very beautiful location. Overlooking the lake. Fabulous. The waiters are in no hurry to bring the menu. When ordering a salad, they didn’t ask what sauce was needed for the salad. Add sauce of your choice. The food is prepared quickly.

We spent our girls' weekend in Meersburg and enjoyed a wonderful evening in the Gutsschänke with excellent food, a fine glass of wine and a very courteous and friendly staff. Simply great! Happy to come back! :)

Magnificent view of Lake Constance, food was ok...upscale system catering, great wine selection at a fair price

Yesterday we went to the Gutsschänke for wine and dinner. I had never attended a wine tasting like this before. I registered with a few friends and was very excited, but I wasn't disappointed. The reception was great, outside on the great terrace with a view of the lake. The duo that led the evening, the entire restaurant, as well as the food and wine simply picked you up. Pure ambience. What was offered for this price was simply top. Definitely again.

Wine and Dine Unfortunately there were far too many people (approx. 40) for the small room. There was no comfort there. There wasn't even enough space to eat. It was more of a mass event. The food was good. We didn't like any of the wines. But that's a matter of taste. Too bad

Very cozy and chic restaurant. The food was an A with stars. You can tell that quality is important in the kitchen. My Maultaschen tasted like grandma used to make them.

The food is very tasty. The selection is rather small. Unfortunately, I was also shocked... unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. I would have had to eat 2 portions of food to be full. Unfortunately, the staff too. It's friendly, but when 3 ladies serve our table and clear up in between when others are still eating and there's running around the tables, that makes you nervous. I didn't like it at all. Sorry, that has to be said. Don't know if I go there again. I had the fillet pan, which unfortunately is probably a children's portion.

After a change of tenant, locals in particular are often skeptical and don't make it easy for subsequent restaurateurs. We had the opportunity to get to know the Gutsschänke again through a Wine & Dine event and we were really positively surprised. In terms of the event itself, it was exciting to not only get to know a winery but also to experience a “battle of the wineries”. For each course, there were 4 courses in total, which tasted excellent, there was 1 sample each from both the presenting winery and the state winery in Meersburg. We had a great opportunity to get to know different wines from the region and eat a delicious menu. Thanks to the really generous hosts who put a lot of effort into making sure our guests had an unforgettable evening!

I had an absolute delightful dinner with my family and friends at the Gutsschänke. We made the reservation same day for 11 people for dinner and even had a spontaneous wine tasting - the entire experience was amazing due to Resuls hospitality and warmth - he made all of us feel so welcome. My family in law is English speaking and Resul explained the story of every wine in English which was fantastic. I recommend everyone who wants to have great food and amazing wine to visit this place. Thank you Resul!!

So wie im letzten Jahr versprochen haben wir auch in diesem Jahr viele Stunden in der Gutschänke verbracht. Die zum Teil neu gestaltete Terrasse ( neue moderne Tische und Stühle) ist sehr gelungen und lädt zum Verweilen bei Wein und vielen leckeren Gerichten ein. Die Aussicht auf den See ist einfach grandios. Der sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Service hat auch bei vollem Haus alles im Griff. Vielen Dank dafür an Resul, Stephie, Julia und Thomas. We had the most amazing dinner here. The owner is the sweetest man and he gave us the most gorgeous bottle of resiling to celebrate a wedding in the family. The views are insane, the food is so good, and the wine is insane!

Ein atemberaubender Blick von der Terrasse über See, wunderschön. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisen Auswahl war für mich herausragend und geschmacklich auf sehr hohen Niveau. Wir hatten die Ochsenbäckchen mit Spätzle. Die waren super weich und himmlisch im Geschmack. Location great, but that's not the merit of this "restaurant". I knew it from the time it opened. The food was great at the time. NOT ANYMORE !!! Maultaschen quite good, but overly seasoned sauce... Cleanliness??? : I and my table neighbors asked each other after one of the service employees (Chinese, none of whom seemed to understand German...) "washed" the ashtray with a rag - and then used the same to wash the table... My service was a bit hectic, but ok. ONLY: I will definitely not go to this restaurant again. Not even for a drink (I don't know how the glasses are washed...)

A wonderful place to linger and enjoy with suitable drinks and food. We were there on September 7th, 2024. We liked it very much. Even though the terrace was full, the service was always friendly and quick.

The food was delicious, fresh ingredients and deliciously prepared. The service was very attentive and fulfilled every wish. The ambience is sensational because the restaurant is on a hill and you have a fantastic view over Lake Constance. A real insider tip. Conclusion highly recommended. 5 stars from me.

Die "Gutsschänke" ist das beste Lokal in ganz Meersburg. Der Ausblick auf den Bodensee ist traumhaft. Das Personal liest den Gästen die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Auch der Chef ist sich nicht zu schade, doch noch einen Platz zu finden und persönlich an den Tisch zu kommen. Kinder werden ebenfalls herzlich bewirtet. Eine vorherige Online-Anmeldung ist dennoch sehr zweckmäßig.

Super Essen, sehr nette Bedienung. Steffi hat uns sehr professionell bedient, obwohl es voll war. Gruß an Corti, er hat so viel verpasst.

On the last day of our vacation we ate on the terrace after making a reservation. Drinks, food, service and view highly recommended. We'll definitely come back again.

Of course, the view of Lake Constance - day and evening - cannot be beaten. The menu has a good selection of fish and pasta dishes as well as Swabian food - all very tasty!

Was könnten wir noch sagen, was nicht bereits mehrfach gesagt worden ist? Wir leben hier quasi ums Eck, sind aber jedesmal sowas von weg, wenn wir in der Gutsschänke auf der Terrasse am Abend zum Essen waren. Aussicht gigantisch, Speisekarte übersichtlich aber für jeden etwas dabei, Weine prima, Küche klasse und Service sehr, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Kleinigkeit am Rande: Jeder mitgebrachte Hund erhält zur Begrüßung eine Schale Wasser! Onlinereservierung ist gerade zur Hauptzeit 18 - 20 Uhr dringend zu empfehlen, klappt auch immer bestens. Wo Licht, da natürlich auch Schatten: Die Tischgarnituren sind nichts für Menschen mit langen Beinen, es geht nie ohne blaue Flecken an den Knien ab und nach 2 Stunden schmerzt auch der abgehärtetste Gluteus Maximus auf den harten Stühlen - aber erstens ist das jetzt subjektiv und zweitens Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Für uns klare Sache, hierher kommen wir öfters.

We had a magical evening on the terrace with the great view. We also enjoyed the perfect, attentive and super-friendly service from Stephanie. Since there can be a refreshing breeze on the terrace, it may be worth bringing a jacket.

The food was highly overpriced for the quality delivered. A moderate sausage salad for 18.50 euros. Two tablespoons Potatoes for an additional 5.00 euros. 2 Maultaschen included inedible sauce 21.90 euros. Eating in the Gutsschenke Never again. Siegfried Mertes

We ended our civil wedding in the Gutsschänke. We were just over 30 guests and were served very professionally by the staff. We all received our food at the same time and very quickly - special requests were no problem. The food was incredibly tasty and very nicely prepared. Drinks were always provided. We felt more than comfortable all around and were able to really enjoy our special day with a perfect ending. Many thanks to the team!

The view is of course great from up there. Very nice atmosphere. The service is very attentive and friendly. If you ignore the fact that you sometimes have to wait longer at the entrance like an idiot, even though you have reserved... The food is good, although not spectacular. The portions are very small, especially for the very high price. I would have expected more. In this respect, nothing for locals who would like to come more often than for one-night stand tourists.

What should I tell your team about the visit to Mr. Andi and Resul? I can report the absolutely impressive view (see pictures). But I can also report on the very, very good food (we had a winemaker's bread), which was really delicious with the Baden sourdough (Pinsa). Or I can also talk about Michael, who recommended the best wine for us with the meal and with his manner made the evening one of the most beautiful. We would like to thank Michael and of course the other employees for everything. Dange and see you in 2025 ;-)

Very nice atmosphere with a great view of the lake. Very friendly staff and a very accommodating owner. A MUST for every Meersburg holidaymaker. We will definitely come back next year.

The location with the view is breathtaking. The food is delicious. A must for wine lovers. We spent a wonderful evening in the garden. The only criticism is the long wait for the food. The main course came after 1 hour. It would be ok if the starter came quicker. We waited 40 minutes for that too. Many thanks to the charming host Resul. We'll be back.

A beautiful place, great view of Lake Constance and the south bank. Very good cuisine, a wide range of drinks and a customer-oriented manager for whom no distance is too far. Highly recommended.

The outdoor terrace offers a wonderful view over the lake, the service is impeccable, and the high prices are due to the ambience. We come here at least once on every Lake Constance holiday.

A beautiful place to enjoy a stylish dinner with a view of the lake. The service is very attentive. The food was delicious, but there is still room for improvement. There is also a small deduction for what we consider to be uncomfortable chairs. Our conclusion: the restaurant is definitely worth a visit to take in the great ambience of Lake Constance.

Location 12/10 Wonderful sun terrace with a great view over Lake Constance is simply breathtaking. Our dishes were all very tasty and well seasoned... big compliments to the kitchen team. Very good work. The service tried hard to keep our guests happy... Unfortunately, most service employees are a bit confused, appear unpleasantly nervous and therefore seem a bit unpleasant... there are enough people…..everything is better with a smile!! Please go eat there, the food, the kitchen and the location deserve it!

I don't think there is a more beautiful view during dinner than from this restaurant. Service, I am of two minds. The male service was very accommodating and nice, but the female conditions were a bit too high for me personally. One or two seemed almost arrogant. But I would visit this restaurant again at any time for 3 reasons. 1. Great ambience 2. Food was very good 3. Our service was very good, except for what I already wrote above.

Lovely experience all around! If you want a good view of the Bodensee, be sure to reserve at table in advance, it gets busy. We sat by the patio toward the entrance, the view was good the atmosphere was excellent. We sat for 3 hours enjoying wine and a cheese board, absolutely recommend a stop here for a leisurely afternoon.

We went to the yesterday without a reservation. Gutschanke Meersburg arrived. We just wanted to have a glass of wine. We got the first table right at the entrance. It was a high table and you have a good view of Lake Constance. Andy looked after us wonderfully. The original bottle of wine became two bottles of wine, a snack platter and six bottles of wine to take home. We can highly recommend this restaurant and the friendly hosts.

We have been visiting the Gutsschänke for 15 years, always on summer vacation. This evening (Sunday) we were there again and spontaneously got a wonderful table on the terrace with a wide view of the lake. We both ate the pork fillet pot and crème brulée: excellent! We were looked after very nicely and competently by the service (Julia Brixner) and overall we really enjoyed the relaxed, cheerful and stimulating atmosphere. An absolute place to feel good: the most beautiful balcony facing Lake Constance! We'd love to come back soon!

Very competent and nice service, I had an onion roast, which you could optionally upgrade with cheese spaetzle for free. We also had a white wine. The ambience was breathtaking, right on Lake Constance

The clear strength of the Gutsschänke is the view and the location, which are truly second to none. The outdoor terrace offers a wonderful view over Lake Constance and invites you to enjoy a sundowner. The main courses we had were perfectly good. The salads are pretty average. Unfortunately, the latter also applied to the service. Maybe having a bad day?

The food was ok, but the service was unfriendly and quite arrogant. After seeing many positive reviews, I was excited about the location and delicious food. Well, now I'm disappointed. A pity.

Celebrated my birthday in the Gutsschänke with a delicious dinner and wine. The view and service are gorgeous and the fish plate was outstanding. I'm really looking forward to the next visit!
